SAP Offline Player - Screen Resolution is too low

I have a customer that has the SAP offline player 6.02_5 and is working from two monitors.  He appears to have his monitors configured identical from my dual monitor setup in which I have no issues but he is getting a pop-up that reads:
This computer does NOT meet the minimum requirements (Current 1024x640/ Required 1024x768+)  Your screen resolution is too low.
Could this possibly be a video card issue?  Everytime that he tried to launch the SAP Offline Player the message above pops up on the users pc.  Any ideas?
Your response is greatly appreciated.

Matt

One person reported he found an app with a simular problem. Unfortunatly there is no real fix. Yell at the maker of the app for not supporting something as basic and trivial as 720p.

  • My AT&T Yahoo email gives me an error message saying that my screen resolution is too low, but it is at 1600 x 900. This only happens in Firefox, not in IE.

When I try to use Firefox to access my ATT.NET account I get an error message about my screen resolution being to low to support the site.My resolution is not low its at the highest available. I also use IE9 and do not have this problem. I am running Windows 7 and Firefox 15.0.1. This has been an ongoing problem. I am using a Toshiba laptop 15.6 screen with 4GB RAM. I see other complaints about this specific problem but have yet to find a solution. Thanks for your help.

Please see added comments on the question. Its not a zoom issue its all about the new ATT design email and Firefox, I agree with Noah there a bug between the old and the new and firefox only.
    UPDATE:
I stand corrected. I went back in again and did the reset zoom and it appears to eliminate the error. Problem solved but I am not sure why I never set up zoom and didn't have the problem on any other site. Will it need to be done each and every time I go into that page or is it now corrected?

  • My YAHOO e-mail suddenly announces that my resolution is too LOW. I have never had this problem before with MOZILLA. HOW CAN I CHANGE MY RESOLUTION? I

I have been using Mozilla Firefox for ages on my laptop, using Windows 7. I use Yahoo mail for my e-mails. Today, when I booted up, I received a message from Yahoo saying that my "screen resolution is TOO LOW". Never had this before!!!
I tried your helpline and people have obviously had the same issue. You tell us this, how many people and if anybody has had the problem today.....but YOU DO NOT TELL US HOW TO CURE THE PROBLE, but you trawl us through a whole load of screens that are about totally different problems.
SIMPLE SUGGESTION :- If someone has a problem that others have had (just like me), please could you ALSO kindly provide a solution.
Why has this problem suddenly come up anyway??? I look forward to your reply & advice.

This can happen if you've zoomed the page. That effects the screen dimensions as reported by JavaScript and seems to confuse Yahoo.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • External screen resolution "defaults" to low-rez (T510, docked; Samsung SyncMaster 730b monitor)

I have a T510 Thinkpad with docking station (Windows XP) with Samsung SyncMaster 730b monitor. Every time I start up, it defaults to low resolution and I need to manually increase the screen resolution. Is there a way to make the default setting for the external monitor is high-resolution?
    Thanks!

    hey ct-user,
it is hard to say if this is caused by the external monitor or by the docking station.
try having the the external monitor connected to the T510 and see if it "saves" the resolution that was previously set.
also, test the external monitor on a different laptop and see if the same issue occurs.

  • How do I know if my image resolution is too low now that the yellow triangle warning is gone?

I am creating a book in iPhoto 11 for the first time. In older versions, I would get a yellow triangle indicating my image quality was too low for that size image. Based on other threads, it looks like iPhoto no longer gives the warning. What is the best way to know if the image will print okay? Is there a workaround so I can check the quality of the image prior to printing out the book?

I noticed that there's not resolution waring also.  Create a PDF file of the book and look at the pages at full sized with Preview and determine if the photos are sharp enough for you.
I ran a test with two images, one 4000 x 3000 pixels and the other 230 x 200 pixels in a 2 photo per page book page and then created a pdf of the book, Modern Lines theme.  This is a screenshot of  the page in Preview at View ➙ View Full Sized:
This screenshot is of the same photo in a different 2 photo per page layout in the same theme.  It does look more like I expected:
Right click on the image and select Show in New Window from the Contextual menu.  I'm really surprised the first example of the small image looked as good as it did. I expected a very pixelated image like the second example but iPhoto upsized it rather nicely. So iPhoto can upsize a small photo to some degree but I don't recommend relying on it for such small images.   And it is a very, very, very small image.  Soif your image is reasonably large you should be OK.  But check it in the PDF file.

  • HT3986 when starting up in windows the screen resolution is too large ,i then restart in windows and resolution goes back too normal

When starting up windows from mac the resolution is too large, i then restart in windows and the resolution goes back too normal. How do i fix this?

Having the same issue here....a quick fix is to just minimize the window, and immediately maximize it.  It will now fit the screen.  Trouble is, after you close it, you'll have to do it again when you re-start itunes.  The good news is it takes all of about 2 seconds.  Apple should fix this.  Should.

  • I can't trigger my E series board with PFI0 because it's resolution is too low

    Hi All,
I am using LabVIEW 7.0 and DAQmx to configure a 6062E-Daq Card. I am
using the DAC output to apply small voltage steps (as low as 10 mV) to
a test system. I want to trigger the acquistion of a separate voltage
signal on an AI channel whenever these small voltage steps are applied.
To do this, I have sent my DAC output to the PFI0 trigger channel and
am acquiring my measured signal on AI1. My vi is essentially the
    Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk-HW Trig Restarts.vi only my DAQmx Start
Trigger is changed from Analog Edge to Reference AnalogEdge so I can
    measure 200 pre-samples.
The vi works beuatifully when my DAC output changes are quite large
(say 100mV). If I go to smaller pulses then the trigger never fires. I
understand that the PFI0 has lower input resolution (usually 4 bits
lower than AI channles) so I think this is my problem.
I understand that I can use an AI channel to act as my trigger channel
but in this case, because I am using an E series board, I can only
measure one channel (my trigger channel) and still have a Reference
trigger. Is there a way to collect my data with pre-samples, using
    these small triggering steps ?
    Ian

    Hi Ian,
I just came across this thread and I wrote an application (Utilizing a Software Circular Buffer for Data Acquisition - LV 7.1) awhile back to help do exactly what Laura was talking about, but without taking too much processor time.
They key to everything is to store the most recent data in a software
circular buffer.  It works pretty well even running an application
for hours at a time because it will only retain the last N seconds
worth of data and no arrays are being built so it keeps memory usage
fairly low.  You can then look at the data within the circular
buffer, determine some sort of condition and then view the last Y
seconds worth of data on whatever row of data you want.
It's slightly complicated, but with a little work you can get it to
work for what you are trying to do.  This may help you find a
solution between now and when you can get your M-Series board.

  • Screen Resolution Flash too big

I have a flash object that is in 800*1000 and it show up fine on my desktop but it seem too big when I open up on my laptop which have a smaller resolution. Some of the contents were cut off. Is there a way to solve this problem? Or at least add a scrollbar?

if the swf is embedded in an html file, publish (file>publish settings>html) for 100%x100%.

  • External monitor resolution is too low

Fairly simple problem, but I can't find out where is the issue.
    I got:
    - Macbook pro dual core 2 (mid 2010)
    - iiyama prolite pl2409hdsb-1 (24'',native resolution 1920x1080)
    - Apple Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter
I thought I would be able to use the native resolution of the screen, but in OS preferencies, the max resolution I can reach is 1600x900 px, pretty horrible!
    Any thought?
    Cheers

I just tried with a macbook air, works super fine, even in DVI.
So the problem seems to come from my mpb, but it says here, under "2nd Display Support" that the maximum supported resolution is 2560x1600.
Is it again a question 2560x1600 not being a HD resolution?
note: the format of the resolution name with the macbook air is "1080p" instead of "YYYxYYY", that's weird.
note 2: I'm currently running OS 10.6.8, any chance a software update might solve the issue?

  • Quicktime screen recording volume too low

Using Firewire with external mic.  Getting almost inaudible volume.  Can someone advise as to how to fix this.
    Thanks!

Hi I've found the solution to this... The option is in the dropdown menu (arrow to the right of record window)... I'm only using internal mic but yours too should be an option on there and it needs to be selected before the audio will be recorded:

  • Loading Yahoo mail causes screen resolution error

Whenever I load Yahoo mail in FF7, I get an error message saying my screen resolution is too low. However, my resolution is 1440 by 900, the native setting. This only happens in FF7, never in other browsers. It also happens when I use Firefox's zoom setting. Seems like that trips it up.

When I zoom in on the page, my resolution drops down to 96 by 96 in the first test and to 900 by 600 on the second test, both of which are lower than the recommended value. So why does zooming in only affect this browser and not IE9, Opera or Chrome?

  • Visibility of the font in tabs, search window and tool bars is too low for me. (My vision is declining). Can I make these larger? Screen resolution is 1280X1024

I find the font size used in the tabs, headers, etc too small. Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find a way to increase it. Also the icons for accessing Bookmarks and Home page is small and hard for me to deal with.
I do resize web pages, using Ctrl and +, that's not my problem.

This is related more to Operating System settings, ie Windows 7 in your case, as the interface is using your OS. You could change the OS settings , or even the screen resolution. A lower resolution will actually give you bigger text.
Changing one of the Firefox preferences also has that effect, I will turn on my other machine and look for the answer as to which one it is.

  • Image sits too low on screen in Photoshop CC when I want to start working.

When I have the image set to 'fit screen' it sits too low in the working space. Something has changed and I can't get it back. I have tried to restore settings but no effect. Any suggestions welcome?

My screen looks like this. Note how the image that has been opened sits rather low in the working space. In fact, a little bit of the bottom of the image has been clipped off despite going to the magnifying class and clicking 'Fit Screen'
It is intensely irritating and never used to be like this. I am using the latest CC update and have Mavericks.  It appears like this when I double click the image in Bridge to open in Adobe CC. I can find no way to drag the image up a bit or reset anything.

  • Max. screen resolution of secure desktop

    Hi there.
I have access to the notebook at my office via Secure Global Desktop. Normally my notebook has a screen resolution of 1280x1024. If I try to access it with this resolution from home I indeed can log on but I only get a blue screen (for about one second I can see the icons on my notebook's desktop).
Using a resolution of 1024x768 everything seems to work fine. But this resolution is too low to work with so that I would have to switch it every evening when I leave the office (to ensure that I could have access in case of emergency).
Is there really a limit concerning the screen resolution? Does anyone know anything about that? Or if not, how would it be possible to access my notebook with the higher resolution!? What would I have to configure in the administration area?
    Thanks for every hint.
    Regards,
    Stephan

I work with 1280x800 and it works perfectly.
One thing you can try is to increase the memory assigned to java to see if it helps.
    /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella config edit --tuning-jvm-initial <MB>
    /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella config edit--tuning-jvm-scale <percent>
    /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella config edit--tuning-jvm-max <MB>
I normally set the initial to 60% of the systems memory, the scale to 150 and the max to 80% of the systems memory.
I this won't help is will make the performance a bit better if the jvm memory was set very low.

You may inquire of Apple (sales support, complementary support, AppleCare) if they have alternative languages support for their phone service so you can discuss this matter with someone. Or email/call direct about this issue and ask. http://www.apple.com/contact/
If you are in the USA, the 800 number works, but for other countries where the native language not english, or for speakers of non-english in the USA, they may be able to provide accommodation. But I am not certain of anything, except Apple is a large enough company to have probably thought of this.
    {And I've found problematic issue with 'translation software' or machine translations. So I have an idea of what you mean. You may be able to email Support about discussing an issue by phone in another language.}
If you are not in the USA, then other options may exist in 'another country Apple web page' - see link that goes to http://www.apple.com/support/country/ - if you happen to be in a non-USA city, elsewhere.
Also: If you have another display that should be compatible with the computer, attach it to see if the trouble you now face is with the computer or some other branded hardware. And it may be the need for a correct cable...
Hope this can be resolved with satisfaction.
    Good luck & happy computing!
