    Hi
I am experiencing wireless connection problem on 4s after ios 8.1 upgrade. The wireless icon appears showing that it's connected but webpages do not load. I have checked my internet connection with other devices and seems to be alright. what to do?
I have tried reseting the network settings and forgetting my wireless connection and re-connecting to it. I even backed up my phone on itunes and restored it, factory reseted it. Nothing seems to work.
Also after my upgrade to ios 8.1 my personal hotspot option under cellular data has disappeared.
Would you please help me out? I would really appreciate it.

    Hi..
Restart your router then restart the iPhone to test.
If that doesn't help, try this support article >   iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

Why won't my FaceTime connect with others?

Ok, so sometimes apple's servers may crash, temporarily. Just check the following site: http://www.apple.com/uk/support/systemstatus/
and it will notify you of any crashes. The link above is for the UK. Change to adapt to your country if you are outside of the UK. If your problem isn't listed I am sure it will be resolved within 24 hours. If this problem persists best thing is to contact apple.
    Hope this helped :)

  • Connecting with other designers

How do I connect with other designers through the Creative Cloud? I currently purchased this product, hoping that there would be a way I would be able to connect with other designers around the world and share ideas, and bounce questions off of. This is a huge thing for me, as I am the only designer in my building and really need some other designers around to communicate with. Thanks!

Hi there! There's no direct way to connect to other designers through the Creative Cloud, besides sharing and commenting on work within your personal contacts. However, Adobe does have a Design forum, where you can share your work and view others'.
You can also check out the full list of Design Development forums, which include photography, web design, print design, and many other subforums.
    Good luck!

I have an original iPad 32 why can't I connect on my home wi-fi but can connect anywhere else? No problems at home connect with other iPads and MACs.

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

  • Heterogenous connection with dg4odbc Oracle 11g: insert did not work !

    Hi,
we just migrated to a 64bits version of our oracle 10.2.0.4 database.
We had a heterogenus connection who was woking "A1" at that time (in 32 bits). Now, we had some problems with the Odbc 64bits and we found on this site that we can use dg4odbc (Oracle 11g).
We tried it and it works well except for a case ... We have to refresh some Oracle tables using a Ingres database. We have a first script SQL that truncate a table and insert data from a table (using heterogenous connection) terminated by a commit. The second one do exactly the same thing but we use a PL/SQL anonymous block.
Does anybody know why the first script work and the second not ...
Here is the "log" of the execution of the first script:

  • Existing OIM 11.1.1.5.0 setup with other oracle DB

    Hi,
I have OIM 11.1.1.5.0 setup with Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0 on a RHEL 5.3 machine. It is working fine.
Now I need to point OIM 11.1.1.5.0 with other existing Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0, which is in another RHEL 5.3 machine.
Is it possible to implement this setup? Please anyone suggest me on this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Karthick Sugumaran

    Hi delhi,
Thanks so much. I compledted the setup using the the document "OIM 11gR1: Schema Backup and Restoration using Data Pump Client Utility [ID 1359656.1]" which you have mentioned in the above.
Now I can able to use OIM application using another server Database instead of already existing Database.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Karthick Sugumaran

  • How to sync Oracle Database with other DB

Trying to find out if there is a way to keep my data set in oracle database in sync with other DB tyring to access the same data to make sure the data being grab is the most updated data.
They mention about Oracle Pipe...whats that?
    thanks

What is the "other database" being used for? Are you using it for disaster recovery? To offload reporting? Something else?
Are you trying to replicate the entire database? Or some subset (a schema, a handful of tables, something else)?
What version of Oracle are you using on the source? What database are you using on the destination?
Are changes allowed on both databases? Or do you just need a master/ slave architecture?
What is the acceptable delay between a change being made on the primary and that change becoming visible on the destination?
