SAP patch level to change the Gratuity Tax ceiling

Dear friends,
What is the patch level to change the Gratuity Tax Ceiling.

HI
There are not many changes reported in Gratuity from long back since year 2008. There is a new note on Superannuation and ESOPs(Note 1396661 - New Perquisite Rules in Budget 2009-Superannuation & ESOP's) but no new note on gratuity. The last note on gratuity i.e. Note 1115073 is valid from 16.01.2008 and from patch level 27.
The latest patch available is SAPKE60056 but you can have gratuity calculation in as low as SAPKE60027.

  • CIN implementation - SAP patch level = 24

    Hi,
We are on SAP patch level 24, current = 35. (SAP 4.7)
How do we implement CIN ? It has around 1000 OSS notes specific to CIN to reach upgarded SP 35 level. Does anyone have any experience how to attack this problem ?
Do we iimplement all patches and bring system to SP35 - This will requrie too much testing.
    OR
Do we implement 1000 - CIN notes.
    OR
    Implement OSS notes when needed.
    OR
    Any other solution ?
    Suggestions highly appreciated !
    Thanks !

    Hello Ron,
additional information: please refer the note 899086 for details on how to implement CIN. Please be informed that CIN is no longer an add on, it is part of R/3. So you should ignore the comments on 40A in the above note. Also,  this note provides information on how to transfer the
CIN settings from 000 client to your customising client. An RFC connection should be established through which you can adjust the two clients.
Regarding your question, I'd do the same as Sunny (for many reasons - bring your system to SP35 level
    I hope this information helps.

  • How to send patch level program changes from concert level instruments?

    Heya,
Here's the gist of my setup:
I have two concert level external instrument channel strips (Nord Electro 3 and Prophet 8 module). I am attempting to change the bank on the Electro 3 on a per patch basis. It seems as if the concert level nature of the channel strip is overriding my ability to change on a per patch basis. I am sending out a program change on a certain patch, and it is being reflected in all of the other patches across the concert (this is expected behaviour from reading the manual).
I've been looking for a way to manually send the program changes on a per patch basis (for these concert level strips), using some sort variation of the override parent setting, but I've been unsuccessful at finding a method for doing this. Is it even possible?
The behaviour I'm looking to replicate is easily accomplished by manually creating the external instrument channel strip in each of the patches, and then sending out the appropriate program change message. This isn't a problem to do. It is, however, a tad bit cumbersome and sort of defeates the purpose (in my opinion) of having concert level channel strips.
    Any wisdom would be appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Nick

As far as I know the only way to send program changes is to create channel strips in every patch. I don't use concert level channel strips for that reason.
One of the advancements is that you can level your external instrument on patch level.
Tip: create one patch with the channel strips you need and duplicate that one (CMD-D) to create new patches. Works faster for me.

What is the latest patch level that one should apply for Sap HCM ECC 6.0.?
What are the disadvantges of not updating the patch levels?

    Check the navigation path -
goto service.sap.com -> click on SAP Support Portal (on left panel first link) -> You will get the Support portal home page, here the 3rd tab is Software download(click on software download tab) -> On left side of web page you will get Support Packages and Patches as second link -> after clicking on it, you will get link for A-Z index (click on it)-> Now on the right panel you will get the a to Z index, since you are searching for HR, select H -> in the next page select third link HR Country Legal Change Packages -> Now select the component as per the applicability(EA-HR, HR-CEE, SAP-HR).
You can check the following link -
    Re: support pack
Disavantage may be that the new feature which has non source changes may not reflect completely and force you to do some manual changes.

  • Recaluculation of taxes at item level based on the value given in ZZ field

    Dear all,
We have added a custom field for ALT BP TAX Grp at item level of service order. Whenever user changes the BP Tax Grp using this field at item level, we want the system to re-determine the taxes based on this new value of BP tax group bypassing the one given at BP master level.
    1)     How can this be achieved?
    2)     Can I use CRM_PRIDOC_COM_BADI BADI for this purpose
    3)     Can I make the system trigger this BADI or any other relevant BADI for recalculation of taxes

  • How to change the field length in standard sap program.

    Hi All,
How to change the field length in standard sap program.
    Urgent
    Example:
    Text1 type c length 75,
    To change :
    Text1 type c length 150,
    Point will be rewarded..
    Thank you,
    Vikram.C

If the only solution is to change the sap standard program, simply change the program, it will prompt for an access key. This key can be retrieved in the SAP support portal (service.sap.com) at keys and requests, sccr keys, register object.
Sometimes these actions are outsourced to a competence center, so maybe youre not entitled to do this, in any case ask a resident senior developer for support.

  • List of issues with patch level

Is there a list of application errors reported for each patch level?
When working with SAP R/3, there is a SAP note released for each patch level which states the changes delivered in that patch as well as what fixes are delivered. Therefore, it is easy to see what application errors exist in each patch level. Is there something similar for SAP Business One?

There are also notes for those Lists of issues with each patch level for B1.  What is your B1 version and PL?
    Thanks,

  • Headstart patch level vs. Repository version

What is the highest version(patch level) of Headstart that we can go to without changing our Repository version? We are currently at Repository version 4.0.12.80.6.

    Hi Randy,
No not really, but as patch level 20 is the highest on sapgui 6.40, i would guess that it is a 6.20 gui...
On the other hand highest patchlevel on 6.20 gui is 64, so it is a really old installation....
You should ask them to click on the icon in the upper left corner of the saplogon / saplgpad screen and then select "About SAP Logon", a window will tell the sapgui version and patchlevel...

    Rolf

  • Can't apply patch level 14 to installation server

I'm trying to apply patch level 14 to the installation server using the nwsapsetupadmin tool.  I have installed previous patches with no problem, and I have just installed the Business Explorer patch with no problem.  But patch 14 for SAP GUI 7.10 fails.
    I click Patch Server.
    I select the patch. (gui710_14-10002995.exe)
It extracts and validates the patch.
I click Next to apply the patch.
I see a splash screen and a black cmd window appears for a split second.
Then nothing.  Here I should see a progress bar while the patch installs.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.
    Tom

    Hello ALL...
for the reason you must have a look in the NWSAPSETUPADMIN.log...
Or you open an OSS MESSAGE in BC-FES-INS  and  attach there the log files from
    your installation server.
Then i can have al ook at this and can support you.
A possible reason is that the patch is already installed on the server...
Or an exception is raised in the .NET framework...
All is possible, but it is very hard to analyse without the logfiles.
    Best Regards, Sven
