Hi, I'm searching for the SCN forum for SAP PCM (Profitability & Cost Management which is part of the EPM solution), but could not find it. Anyone an idea where to post SAP PCM issues

    would suggest you to know the Client's process in brief and if you prepare demo according to his process he will be more happy to see his business process in SAP B1.
    First you are enough to handle completely in B1 as you are also one of the expert and  if you find any difficulty then you can raise the scenario to the Forum anyone who faced this will reply you definitely.
    If you want SAP functionalities then  I guess you know where to find its in service.sap.com........

    Hello All,
    It will be very helpfull to have SAP BC forum.
    We know that SAP XI will be future integration broker for all SAP systems. But they are couple of customers still working on SAP BC.
    This forum will help us to convince customers to move from SAP BC to SAP XI.
    Pls let me know your comments.

    BC is no longer developed
    I know it will be supported for many years
    but it's an old technology (works only on java 1.3)
    so what sense would there be to create a separate
    forum for that?
    you can always ask BC questions here
    as many people do with IDOC or ALE

  • SAP PCM 7.0 Connectivity with SAP Business Objects

    Hi All
    We are trying to integrate SAP PCM 7.0 FP5 with Business Objects. The prime purpose is to fetch PCM data into Xcelsius dashboard and WebI reports via BO Universe.
    We are sruggling to understand the plugins required to do this.Since other SAP documentation states that SAP BO Connectivity pack is required which is a part of SAP BusinessObjects Profitability and Cost Management 7.5 Support Package 06
    But , we understand that SAP BO PCM75 Support pkg06 cannot be installed on SAP PCM 7.0.
    Also, Please kindly help me in understanding if SAP PCM 7.0 connectivity with BOXIR3 (without using BW NW layer) is possible or it needs to be upgraded to SAP PCM 7.5

    I am thinking that you may need to deploy FTP adapter in PI to get this process work fine but not sure.

    公司正在进行SAP BPC 10和SAP PCM 10的安装测试并进行项目前期准备。在安装之后发现，EPM Add-in for Microsoft的PC和PCM版本安装之后，本来在Excel里的u201CData Manageru201D菜单消失了。也许是PCM和BPC的Add-in不兼容。
    第二个问题是使用Web版本的客户端时，PCM和BPC针对IE浏览器的Add-on有冲突。安装了PCM之后就不能够再链接BPC了。是否是ActiveX的问题？

  • Perhaps a Name Change to 'BI in SAP NW2004s'  Forum?

    Now that SAP is referring to this BI 7.0, perhaps we could get a forum name change, e.g.
    <b>BI in SAP NW 7.0 (2004s) </b>
    This is how it is being referred to by SAP most of the time now and changing the forum name might help avoid confusion for any new folks that don't know about the 2004s history.

    We could reduce the number of postings in another forum by changing the name from Exchange Infrastructure to Process Integration - in line with NW04s!
    That'd confuse them!

    Good afternoon colleagues,
    I'd like to have more detailed information about using PCM for the service cost accounting shared service based.
    I want to understand how to integrate a shared service model with an ABC or basic costing model and if it's possible to ensure balancing between the costs that are allocated at enterprise level and those managed at service providers level (Shared Service).
    I will try to be clearer....
    An ABC model operates starting LineItem and useing center of responsibility, activities and cost objects dimensions. Instead Service dimension, which allows an automatic cross-charging accounging is disconnected from the line item costs .... How may I recovery linkage between LineItem value and the service cost? Is it possible?

    Service 1: rule cellvalue = summaryactivityvalue(,,,S1) Service 2: rule cellvalue = summaryactivityvalue (,,,S2)
    so I can use the calculations already carried out at ABC with the use of LineItem and provides balancing with the cost determined at the level of activity.
    Unfortunately, sometimes it is not immediately make the link between LineItem and service, there are LineItem covering several services in amount not defined (joint costs)
