SAP Plant Maintenance Configuration Guide

hi friends,
i am working in a construction company and our compnay has implmented SAP ERP ECC 6.0. I am in PM module. I want to learn the configuration part. Please suggest me any gud link(ebook) in which i can find the detail configuration guidence about SAP PM module explaining the steps to configure the different parts for PM module including there need and other explantion.

I work in the utilities industry and have done for about 6 years as an end/super user of PM, i myself would also like to learn the configuration side. Was just wondering how you have got on since January and if you have any advice on learning config or managed to obtain the type of information you was after (SAP PM config guide). Appreciate any advice/guidance you can provide me with.

I would say you can start off by reading stuff on the net like help.sap.com.
Also there are a couple of websites that provide a good insight into the SAP PM world e.g. www.sap-img.com , just run a google search and I guess you'd have material to start off.

Hello Kurni,
In PDM/PLM latest version is PLM 7.0.
There are many new functionalities available in this version.
Earlier version can be accessed from SAP GUI, but the latest one can be accessed from Portal/NWBC.
DMS side many notes have to be applied as you will be instaling EHP4.0 as part of the upgrade.
ECM side some standard reports are missing in PLM 7.0, which were available in ECC6.0.

REG. SAP Plant Maintenance

Hi All,
I have an peculiar issue in plant maintenance.
I have created a new Equipment and now it is in status - INST and PRO.
If is execute IH03 transaction I am able to see this Equipment whereas the other users are not able to see this new equipment in IH03.
The issue is not only with IH03 even the equipment is not visible in transactions like Create notification, Maintenance orders, Maintenance plans.
please throw some light.
Whereas the other equipment which was created very long with deletion flag set. Even that get displayed. As I assume it should not get displayed right.

I hope, for the below points there is no separate configuration.
1) Set List Processing for Fleet management objects.
2) Set reference object screen for Vehicles.
For 3) Consumption Relevant Counter reading Update.
IMG => PM & CS => Information systems for PM & CS => Configure Measurement document update
I hope, this is common for all the versions. Please check.
