  • Urgent ; SAP Query for generating report  from BLNR ,DOCNR and oth in NEWGL

We are posting document to 5 ledgers. There is a leading ledger and 4 non leadING ledgers. One Ledger contains the detailed information , and I need to add all the fields information when I create that report.
We want BLNR field to be the reference for creating report.
we have to create a report clubbing BLNR field from BKPF  , and DOCNR from FLEXA Table.
    Thanks,
    YGB

Sorry it is BELNR not BLNR

  • SAP Query for Appriasal Report

    Hello Experts,
Can we use SAP Query (SQ03, SQ02, SQ01) based on Appriasal tables ( HRHAP*) to fetch records similar to tcode phap_search_pa?
I tried building an infoset making a direct read of table HRHAP and then joining tables like - HRHAP_T, HRHAP_APPEE, HRHAP_APPER, HRHAP_OTHERS and HRHAP_ACT_LOG.
Finally, created a query based on this infoset, however, it does not retreive any results. Seems, it requires more details as app templates...
Can anyone give inputs on this?
    Regards,
    Sarvesh Hasija

    Hi Sarvesh
SAP Query may not work here. Because more than often, the data available in PHAP tables need to be first brought into temporary tables using a match condition and then shown on screen. There are a lot of sub queries required between PHAP and HRPnnnn tables to see some meaningful results. Imagine how many Table joins the End User needs to do.
SAP Query are ideal if we are pooling data from one or two tables using a match condition. I am not dening that InfoSet is not possible. Getting desired output from such InfoSet will be challenging.
You mentioned you supplied Doc ID/Number to PHAP_Search_PA, which is incorrect. It is a report which works on Template not Document. I hope you know the difference between Template and Document in PMS/OSA. I cannot stress enough on how much important is PHAP_Search_PA. What this standard report can do, custom designed report will take huge time to get close to it.
I am sorry, I am also going to recommend Z Reports in case desired output is not possible in PHAP_Search_PA. In one of my recent assignments we had "Trainer's Feedback Report for any training programme/programmes between any two dates" requirement, and we opted for a Z Report.

    Hi,
    Can you all help me?
Is there any area or a table or query in SAP, which can create a list with the purchase order number (Field name EBELN),supplier(Field name SUPERFIELD) and header text(Field name EDITOR).
Please tell the table name that fetches all values from the same table.

    Hi,
Try to Combine EKKO, EKPO & T166P tables and take common fields like:
    EKKO:
    EKKO-BSTYP
    EKKO-BSART
    EKKO-EBELN
    EKKO-LIFNR
    EKPO:
    EKPO-EBELN
    T166K
    BSTYP
    ESART
    TDID = F01
You can use this for your customization.

  • Report painter report in portal - Excel output in SAP GUI for HTML

    Dear sirs,
I need your expertize. I would like to let my users display (Excel in place)/ save the result of my report painter reports into MS Excel. I have found notes 499262 a 314568, but didn´t understand the message (or there is no message:)). Does that mean I cannot use Excel in place together with Report painter and SAP GUI for HTML?
Second question: is there a place (user exit in generated code? I don´t even know what I am looking for) to get the data provided by the report painter engine and send the retrieved data to some custom function (to be able to call the Adobe form, to save it as a text file or any option how to manipulate the resulting data...?).
thank you for your time and effort,
    regards Otto

    Hi Otto,
You can send print the report to the spool and then use RSTXPDFT4 program to convert this spool to PDF file. Alternatively, you can export the spool to spreadsheet or ASCII file via SP01 transaction.
Additinally, I'm not aware of unability to use Excel output with SAP GUI interface.

Our customer ask that  can they install the crystal report for SAP 8.8 with multi computer and no need to buy any license for this because they bought license for SAP B1 already.
I wonder this and everyone can help me?
How can we should advice them.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
If you want more users to edit CR, you need to buy extra licenses.  B1 only include one free license for maintaining reports for 2007 version.

  • How to Integrate SAP EP with SAP PI to send data for creating reports in BW

    Hi Gurus
I am struck with an Object/Interafce Creation in my project. My requirement is to Integrated SAP Enterprise Portal and SAP BW using SAP Pi. I am working on SAP PI7.1. The SAP EP sits on the Oracle Database and it will send some data required for generating some reports in BW.
My question is how to integrate the above systems by which adapters and which will be the best approach. If we use PI, the major advantage is we can Monitor the flow of the messages .
Cant the BW System directly talk with the SAP EP System. If there is an approach, can we monitor the message flow with out PI involvement.
All the above mentoined systems(SAPEP,SAPPI,SAPBW,SAPSRM,SAPABAP) are in the client landscape only.
    Please suggest me the approach.
    Thanking you

    Hi rajshekar
    Thanx for the reply
In the current project we are having an Interafce which is a B pass sceanrio from MDM to BI; MDM is dat , pi is picking the data by Sender File CC and Posting the Data to BW by using Receiver File CC. this does not involve any developemnt of ESR Objects.
My current requirement also seems to be the same Pick thhe date from SP Portal and give it to BW for generaiting reports.
Can i use the SOAP at sender side and File at receiver side with out the involvement of ESR Objects.
Does the By Pass aprroach work for this aprticular interafce.
How can we integrate SAP EP with BW withour Pi?
please share any blogs or forums
    please help
    Thank you

  • SAP Integration Kit for Crystal Reports

    Hello,
I read Ingo Hilgefort's blog on BusinessObjects and SAP Part 2.
    /people/ingo.hilgefort/blog/2008/02/19/businessobjects-and-sap-part-2
Does the current trial version of crystal reports available from businessobjects.com have this integration kit embedded in it?
If not, where can i find it?
    Regards,
    Suraj

    hi shenoy,
    SAP Integration Kit
The SAP integration kit includes drivers to allow connectivity to both R3 and Business Warehouse (BW). In addition, it includes a BW toolbar for Crystal Reports, a specific version of InfoView with Role-based links, sample iViews for Enterprise Portal, and an SDK in Java, COM, or .NET.
    Reporting off R3 Data
The kit includes two drivers to allow Crystal Reports to connect to the ABAP data dictionary via a remote function call or RFC.
The Open SQL driver allows the user to connect to SAP R3, displaying the field and the short text description of the tables and fields. The developer can then join the tables accordingly, using the database expert, and then select the relevant fields from which to report. This driver displays not only transparent tables, but includes views, pool tables, cluster tables, ABAP data clusters, and ABAP functions. This driver is geared toward a technical person with functional expertise in joining the tables and then creating the report.

This driver displays not only transparent tables, but includes views, pool tables, cluster tables, ABAP data clusters, and ABAP functions. This driver is geared toward a technical person with functional expertise in joining the tables and then creating the report.
    Note
In Crystal Reports, you cannot check the SQL generated using the Show SQL Query option from the Database menu. You can check what Open SQL was generated by using SAP transactions.
The InfoSet driver allows the user to connect to an existing InfoSet, as defined by SAP transaction SQ02. Alternatively, you can use an existing ABAP query, as defined by SAP transaction SQ01. The benefit of this driver is that the user does not need to know where the data is stored or how to join the tables. Another advantage is that any prompts defined in the InfoSet become parameters in Crystal Reports.
    Note
To test the InfoSet query, run the InfoSet using your SAP GUI and ensure that it is pulling the required data first before testing it in Crystal Reports.
    Reporting off BW Data
When reporting off of BW data, the Business Objects' Integration Kit consists of three drivers that are used to pull data.
The BW Query driver enables the user to connect to a BW query. To enable selection of a query with this driver, Crystal Reports has its own toolbar, as shown in Figure 15.3, and the user needs to select the New Report icon from this toolbar. The user then selects the required BW query, and thus displays a listing of fields available in the query. The user can then create the report using any of those fields. Variables defined in the query automatically become Crystal Reports parameters. After the user has finished building the report, the user saves the report using the BW toolbar. This saves the report to BW, and if the user selects the option to do so, automatically publishes the report to Enterprise.
Figure 15.3. Crystal Reports after the SAP integration kit is loaded. Note the SAP menu and BW toolbar.
Two new drivers have been added to the XI R2 version of the SAP Integration Kit.
The MDX query driver supports using Crystal Reports to report off either a SAP BW query or a BW Cube.
Furthermore, it adds additional functionality by providing support for
A structure in both the row and column of the BW query
Hierarchy node and hierarchy node variables
Free characteristics in a BW query
The Operational Data Store or ODS driver exposes the ODS tables, so that they look much like the tables of any relational database. However, because of the structure of the objects, it considers them to be like a database stored procedure.
Connecting to the ODS objects is not performed with the SAP toolbar described here, but rather by selecting the driver from the Data Explorer as shown in Chapter 1, "Creating and Designing Basic Reports." After the user has finished building the report, the report can be saved back to BW and published to Business Objects Enterprise by selecting the Automatically Publish to Enterprise check box, as shown in Figure 15.4.
Figure 15.4. The additional options after saving a Crystal Report to SAP BW.
    Note
This publishing method requires some setup. Please refer to the Installation documentation for further details.
    Note
Both the ODS and MDX drivers require SAP transports to be loaded on the SAP BW system. Please refer to the Installation CD in the Transports folder for further details.
Using OLAP or Web Intelligence to Report off BW Data
Included in the SAP Integration Kit are specific drivers to allow OLAP Intelligence and Web Intelligence to report off of SAP BW.
To connect to a BW cube or query using OLAP Intelligence, open the connection browser and select Add. Select SAP Business Information Warehouse and then proceed to fill in the relevant data, as shown in Figure 15.5.
Figure 15.5. The information required to connect to a BW cube or query from OLAP Intelligence.
After you are connected, select the query or cube and process to build the report, as described in Chapter 19, "Creating OLAP Intelligence Reports."
Web Intelligence is new to XI R2 and requires that a universe be built on a BW Cube or Query. However, to aid in this process, Designer builds the universe for you. To do this, select SAP from the list of connects and fill out the required information, as displayed in Figure 15.6.
Figure 15.6. The information required to connect to a BW cube or query from Web Intelligence.
Finish the remainder of the wizard and when you click OK, Designer generates the Universe for you. It may be necessary to move some of the objects around to suit your needs, but when you are finished, export to Business Objects Enterprise.
    Note
Only the BW query driver does not require the query be released for external access. The Web Intelligence, OLAP Intelligence, and MDX drivers require the user to release the BW query. To release a query, select the query properties in the BW Query Designer and select the Extended Tab and then check Allow External Access to This Query.
    Viewing the Reports
Your SAP reports can be viewed either via the SAP integration kit's InfoView or via SAP Enterprise Portal 6. The integration kit provides a number of sample iViews that can be imported by a portal administrator. These include
Folder iView The folders a user has access to are displayed, and from here a user can run her reports.
Alert iView Shows all the alerts that have been triggered by Crystal Reports. The user can then click on the report to view the report. The creation of alerts is defined in Chapter 11, "Using Record Selections and Alerts for Interactive Reporting."
Thumbnail iView This iView displays the Crystal Report as a thumbnail of the report. The user can then click on the thumbnail to run the report.
    Note
These are sample iViews. The organization can create its own iViews via the provided SDK.
BusinessObjects InfoView for SAP is a unique version of InfoView designed for integration with SAP BW systems. This integration includes features such as the ability to log on to InfoView using your SAP username and password. Related to authentication is the ability to access your roles and the Crystal Reports saved to these roles. The roles are defined in Enterprise as folders. The user can also schedule reports in the different languages loaded into SAP BW. This creates an instance for each language.

  • Issue with saving SAP& variant for report as per OSS note 1885125

    Hi,
I'm implementing OSS note 1885125 and it instructs me to adjust several SAP& variants:
    The variants of the report RSUSR070 (SAP&_AUTH, SAP&_CHANGE, SAP&_PROFIL, SAP&_STANDARD,
    SAP&_TRANSAKT, SAP&_VALUES)
    must be adjusted.
Call transaction SE38 for the report RSUSR070 in the client 000. Change the values for the relevant
variants. On the selection screen, choose "+" ("All Selections" (Ctrl+F7)):
l Select the "All Roles Irrespective of User Assignment" radio button.
For the variant SAP&_BENU, you must select the "With Valid Assignment Of" radio button.
If the variants are protected, run the report RSVARENT for each variant."
Now I'm in client 000 and I can unprotect the variants with report RSVARENT, but then SAP tells me that SAP& is the SAP name space, and that I need to create new variants. So it doesn't let me save these. The whole point of the OSS note requesting the SAP& variants to be adjusted is because they are using in SAP standard transaction codes:
    S_BCE_68001418
    Roles by Role Name
    S_BCE_68001419
    Roles by User Assignment
    S_BCE_68001420
    Roles by Transaction Assignment
    S_BCE_68001421
    Roles by Profile Assignment
    S_BCE_68001422
    Roles by Authorization Object
    S_BCE_68001423
    Roles by Authorization Values
    S_BCE_68001424
    Roles by Change Data
    S_BCE_68001425
    Roles by Complex Criteria
    S_BIE_59000249
    Roles By MiniApp
Any advice how to get round this issue please?
    Thank you

    Ansel,
    Thanks again!
In RSA1 ->Transport Connection, yes, I can see the Source System objects.
In the Source System objects, I have selected the ECC source system and dropped it to the right panel.
Now I can a list of Datasource and Transfer Rules there.
    1) Does it mean these are all the source system related objects?
I then create the normal transport request to capture all the objects. And release the Transport.
    2) Now how can I export this transport?
What I try to do is to delete the existing SAP Source System. Create the new SAP Source System, then import back all the source system related objects...... so that my existing data model will not disappear after deleting and creating the new SAP Source System.
    Is the following steps correct?
    1) Collect all the Source System related objects and capture in Transport.
    2) Release and export the Transport (but how?)
    3) Delete the SAP Source System
    4) Create new SAP Source System
    5) Import the existing SAP Source System related objects (but how?).
    Please help, thanks in advance.
