SAP Price List

Hello,
We have been told that PowerBuilder is now on the SAP price list. Can someone please tell me how to find it in the SAP store? I need some pricing information.
Also can someone please refer me to the published definitive SAP statement on its commitment to PowerBuilder. I can't seem to find it. I don't mean what was said at conferences/meetings or on bits of slideware, I mean the real thing.
I so want to believe that PowerBuilder has a future but down here in this pathetic banana republic in the south west corner of the Pacific, it's not looking real good.
TIA, Paul

I thought that this question was fairly telling also interesting that PB15 has been tested with EAS 6.3.1
PowerBuilder 15 beta- anyone testing with EAS 5.5
SAP have not "officially" given EOL on EAS........ For crying out loud! What is it with the "it has not been done the official SAP way so it does not exist!" cr@p.
I posted up the exact content of an email I have from SAP and I note that the content was not denied.
In my opinion there is no future for PB in an EAS or other PB related n-tier deployment. Support has effectively ended (you try and get support for an EAS problem).
Having said that most people are still running EAS5.5 so are quite happy with an unsupported situation so why should they worry. One assumes that SAP's interest in PB running on 5.5 is one of license sales!
Sorry guys I'm having a cynical week

  • Issue in Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud)

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to have a discussion on the issues, which I am facing at the time of Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from
    SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud).
    (1). Sales Price List :
We have maintained Customer Group Specific Sales Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :         Product and Service Portfolio Work Center > Pricing > Price Lists > Customer Group Specific Price List (Type of Price List)
Target :             We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :          Number of Materials in the Customer Group Specific Price List is more than 2,00,000
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can filter by number of records but we can export till  50,000 records.
And if we are trying to export records more than that limit, then it throws "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product and Service Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center
for getting the entire record set of the Sales Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Sales Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Sales Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    (2). Purchase Price List :
We have maintained the Purchase Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :           Product Portfolio Work Center > List Prices > Active List Prices (Type of Price List)
Target :               We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :            Number of Materials in the Purchase Price List is more than 4,00,000.
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can not see more than 10,000 records and the actual number of
records are more than 4,00,000. We could able to download the records till 10,000 but that is not sufficient.
We want to export the entire records in an excel sheet.
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center for
getting the entire record set of the Purchase Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Purchase Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Purchase Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
Please go through the attached screen shots for the references and more clarity on the issues.
I am waiting for the valuable responses.

  • Changes in SAP b1 price list is not reflecting in webtools

    Hi,
I have 5 price list in SAP B1 and it is synchronized with web tools so i am able to generate sales orders for a customer with same price whether from B1 or web tools. Now I have defined 5 new price list in B1 and changed default pricelist  on customer card in SAP B1 and synchronized. While generating Sales order from webtools I am still getting the old price list. Any reason for this?

Are you logged into the commerce site as someone from that Business Partner?
You might have a force an update of that BP to Web tools, by simply changing some data then changing it back. Sometimes changing the pricelist on the BP doesnt trigger the synch to notice that data has changed, and it therefore is not queued to be synched.
So on the BP Master Data, you can add a space onto the end of the name, and then immediately delete it, thereby causing the "OK" button to change to "Update". This will force the BP record into the queue to be synch'd and the next time the synch runs it will synch that BP, including it's new pricelist assignment.
Also, just to double check that the items whose pricing you are testing do actually have special prices on that pricelist. Sounds obvious I know, but with so many items it can be an easy detail to miss.

  • Price List Error in Bill of Materials in relation to SAP Note 1056208

    Hi Experts,
I have uploaded the Bill of Materials --both the Header and Lines using DTW successfully but when I try to update the Product Price of the Parent manually in the Bill of Materials, this error occurs:
"Variation between number of price lists and number of price lists for items"
I have also tried running the script provided in SAP Note 1056208 to check if there are any inconsistencies in the Price List records but there is none.  The number of records in both tables are the same.
We have 3 levels of Bill of Materials (FG, WIP1, WIP2).  I need to update the Product Price of WIP2 first so that its price will appear in the line items since it is a component of WIP1.
I hope you could help me with my problem and I would appreciate your prompt replies.
    Thank you very much!

    Hi!
In BOM u will find a Orange Color Drop Down Arrow @ Right-Bottom Corner. You have to click on that to generate Price for your Parent based on the Child.
Select the Approp Price List in Header of BOM and in Row Level. Update prices for Child Items, now Follow the above step.

  • Intercompany and Key Mapping Price List

    Hi expert,
I have the Intercompany Add-ON version 2.0.8.30 installed on a SAP Business One 9.0 PL15 for 4 localization:
    Head Office (H000): IT
    Branch 001 (B001): FR
    Branch 002 (B002): DE
    Branch 003 (B003): CH
    This is the scenario:
I started two weeks ago without Key Mapping the Price List because the first choice was that to use different price lists for each country.
Now, I need to replicate the H000 price lists in new created rice List in each brench.
We created new Price lists named "ZZ IT 01", "ZZ IT 02" and so on and we Key Mapped them.
Here the screenshot for Key Mapping:
    Problem is that:
    NO REPLICATION APPENS!
The Mapping was created 1 week ago but NO syncronization appened...
So, the question is: How I can syncronize the Price Lists?
    thanks in advance,
    Jonny Cortonicchi

    Hi ,
In ABAP API also you can retrieve key mapping of main table records using function 'MDM_API_RETR_CLIENT_SYS_KEYS'.
You will get details of this function in sap library or ABAP API documentation provided by SAP.
For any further queries kindly reply.

  • DI API - Goods Receipt (OIGN) - HOWTO Set Price List ?

    Hi everyone,
I want to create a Goods Receipt Document via DI API
    Documents doc = (Documents)cmp.GetBusinessObject(BoObjectTypes.oInventoryGenEntry);
I set doc.DocDate of the document header,
and doc.Lines.ItemCode, doc.Lines.Quantity of document lines
In some cases, SAP does not allow me to add the document, namely when an item does not have a price...
In SAP GUI there is a possibiliy to set a price list (instead of "Last Purchase Price")
the related field in Database (OIGN) is "GroupNum"
My question is now - How can i set this variable "GroupNum" via DI API? Documents contains no property for doing this??
(I already looked at SDK Docu relating GetItemPrice, PriceLists but i didnt really found what i m looking for).
    Best regards

    Are you serious ?
They use this property to change the Price List of a Goods Receipt ?
I mean I understand that this is a Marketing Document but the lack of a property for disctinct values like Price List
    is not that good.

  • Price List Auto Update based on Last Purchase Price

    Dear Expert
I have a problem in updating the PriceList at one of my client site . They are making CST purchase
Eg.    We are entering purchase through Goods Receipt PO item cost 100RS and CST tax 20 RS
Then Copy to AP invoice . so the item cost is coming to 120 as CST is non deductible tax .
If we goto Price list , it will clearly show last purchase Price is 120 every thing is fine till now
Now the issue comes :- company is incurring frieght charges 10 Rs or any amount this also has to be included to cost that we are entering through Landed Cost . This 10Rs is automatically adding to cost . if we look the item cost it will be 130 this is also correct . But the Problem is that when we go to Pricelist we find that Last Purchase price as 110 that is 100 Rs base doc price +10 Rs Frieght (Landed Cost) . .
Actually the Last Purchase Price should come as 130 (1002010) . We are dealing with 4000+ items it is difficult to mannually update the Price List .

    Dear Shihabuddin,
In most localization, price is for before tax price. If you want tax included in the price, you can create your own price list to calculate.
    Thanks,

  • Autorization of Sales District and Price List Creation to the User

    Dear Experts,
At Present the end user (customer) is sending the request of New Sales District and Price List Creation to SAP SD Consultant and the consultant creates the same in Development Client SPRO through T code OVR0 etc. and then transports the same to Quality and Production Server. This Process takes a lot of time
We want to provide the direct access of Sales district and Price List creation to the user in PRD.
Kindly Let me know what is the best way in which we can handle this situation.
    Regards,
    Ranjan Singh

Are you sure you want to do that? You will create inconsistencies between the systems which will jepardise future tests. I suggest you just train end-user to do the procedure him/her self. I don't think it costs so much time to transport a couple of requests.

  • Generating a Price List Report

    Hi
Currently we are working for the retail sector where we need to maintain history of changes made in the price list. Can any report be generated in SAP for giving us a history of the price list with the dates on which such changes in price list has been made. I have explained the above query in detail below with a scenario.
    Scenario :
Date     Price List      Item Code       Item Name     Price
    1-May-08          1         HB       Handle Bar     100
    20-May-08          1         HB       Handle Bar     105
    2-Jun-08          1         HB       Handle Bar     108
Is a report as above possible to be generated in SAP for viewing the changes in the price list. Please guys if anybody has some clue on the same throw some light.

    Hi,
Item History is in AITM table. You can view the change details of an item in 2 ways.
    1. Goto Inventory --> Item Master Data . Select the item for which you want to view the Change in price list. Now Goto Tools --> Change Log. Now you can view the list of changes made to that item. In that window itself Click the button "Show Differences". It will show the Differences between current item settings and the changes made to it (Date wise). Or You double click the button left to Instance. It opens the Item master data screen and show the screen which is earlier to the updation.
    2. Write a query to retrieve the data from AITM table.
SELECT T0.UpdateDate, T0.ItemCode, T0.ItemName, T0.AvgPrice FROM AITM T0 Where Condition. Type the condition you want to filter the data from table.

  • Help with creating a price list

I'm just wondering if anybody could possibly help me when creating a price list?. I'm new to SAP so don't have a great knowledge of it.
Our company needs to send out a wholesale price list to customers, however some of the items we stock do not include vat, when the price list is previewed it doesnt show which items include vat or exclusive of vat. this information could do with being visible to make it clearer to the customers.
Is there anyway the priclist could be exported to microsoft excel etc for editing?
    many thanks.

    go to inventory--prce lists-Price List.
double click on the price list you want.
It will open the new window showing Items with prices.
Click on the Excel icon on menu bar on the top.
    save file as .xls.

  • Get Item price based on Price List

    Hi all,
anyone has some sample of how to get the price for an item based on a specified price list, selected by the user, following the SAP's rules for assigning item price?
I've used the GetItemPrice method, but it doesn't need a price list reference and i think it gives back the basic price of the item.
I'm able to get the price list and the item code. How can i get the correspondig price (unit price) for that item?
    Thanks in advance.
    Nick

    Thanks Rasmus,
i've done. I get the PriceList currently selected by the combo box and update the price list used by the BP, and after that i use the getitemprice.
So it should work now, i get the correct prices related to the pricelist selected and i think that using the getitemprice the price that i obtain follows the sap B1 logic in assigning prices.
After that i'm considering to set back the pricelist on the BP to the one that is originally stored in the BP.
    Thanks for your help

  • Price list change according to raw material cost

    Dear Experts,
We are currently working in a client where for those products for which the raw material is the main component as the cost of the raw materials varies with a high frequency (daily or weekly) the list price (the price we want to invoice to customers) should be updated accordingly and automatically with a specific mark up.
Have you found a similar requirement in any client? If yes, could you explain us from a functional perspective how (SAP standard functionality or custom development with a detailed explanation of the solution) you solved this requirement?
Is there any procedure to do regular massive updates of Finished Good price lists based on the actual variation (and/or expected variation) of raw materials cost?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    M.Baig

    Hi Baig,
It is possible to determine the price based on the raw material cost. I dont know whether you are using Moving average price or standard price for the raw material cost.
Whatever be the  method, when you create the sales order, it is possible to take the raw material cost on the date of order creation using one of teh cost condition types like VPRS. You can use this condition type as statistical.
You can also have another condition type which is the mark up on this cost.
Now you can calculate your grossprice using another condition type which total up the cost in VPRS condition type adn the mark up %, either through just configuration or by means of a calculation type routine created in VOFM adn then assigning the same for the gross price condition type.
I you have any concerns, pls lemme know.

  • Customer Master Price List

Does anyone know if I can run a SAP transaction code that I can get a customer master price list report?  I need to see the customer, item #/SKU# and list price for all items sold to the cusomter.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

    Hi,
I don't think we have tcode for Customerpricelist but
You can Get all items for the customer from KNMT Table. get the condition records(KUNMH) for these Materials from A091 table and finally get KBETR (price) based on the condition record from the KONP table. This would be termed as list price-
Try to post the issue in respective forum ....
