SAP r/3 4.7x110 installation

Hi all,
I was wondering is there a way to install SAP r/3 4.7x110 on oracle 10g. As there is no installation media available for oracle 10g for this version in service marketplace. but when i saw the product availability matrix it is indicated there that 6.40 kernel supports 4.7x110 ... and 6.40 kernel supports oracle10g. but i cannot find any media of kernel 6.40 for 4.7x100.
Any body have any idea about it ?

I´m faccing with the same error... I installed the solution manager Ehp1 and it have SPS20 applied which correspond to ST 400 level 20 (SAPKITL430).
When I am in transaction SMSY in section Systems and I press the button "READ SYSTEM NUMBER" is shown an error message that says "SAP customer number unknown for installation" the details of help says:
Diagnosis
Installation number &V1& that is assigned to some system(s) in transaction SMSY is not assigned to an SAP customer number in table AIINSTALLATIONS.
Procedure
Please check the log of background job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT for errors.
So, when I entry in that job log I found this error:
No customer numbers maintained in view V_AISAPCUSTNOS   | AI_SC_EN   | 106
Then I went in table/view V_AISAPCUSTNOS and inside does not contain any data!!!
All the notes I found were related to lower versions and so I could not implemented the snotes corrections!! Any notes for my release that are related with this problem?
Joao Cesar what you did for solve this problem??? You didn´t mentioned!! You only mentioned that you implemented some notes.. but which ones?!!?

SAP NW 7.0 Java Installation in MSCS (One Node)

I have read some cases that SAP is installed in MSCS that contains only one node. Does SAP support this kind of installation.

From my knowledge a single node MSCS cluster does not make sense. There are at least 2 nodes.

Can any one tell me that from where i can download SAP ITS 6.2 Win64 installables. I need to install it urgently. Kindly provide the complet path, if possible.

SAP 4.7 / MSSQL Cluster Installation

Hi:
I am in the planning stages of a SAP 4.7 / MSSQL Cluster Installation. I have sone this same install in non-clustered MSQL 2005/ SAP 4.7 envirionments, but cannot find a lot of good documentation/advice for the clustered install.
For example, when we install nonclustered MSSQL 2005, we use a VB script that takes care of the DB configuration for us. Is something similiar available for a clustered install. Any advice appreciated.

SAP NetWeaver 7.01 Java installation on MSCS and Log shipping for DR

Hi Experts,
Can anyone please explain if below is possible :
- We have installed Netweaver 7.01 Java application server on Microsoft clustering which is working perfectly ok.
-Now we are looking at building a DR solution for the above installation using SQL Server 2008 Log-shipping. The DR site has the same MSCS configuration as the primary site.
-If we log-ship the production database and create a secondary database in "standby" or "norecovery" mode, how do we install a Passive SAP Central instance in case we want to failover from the primary to secondar ?
- We know that we have the primary database log-shipped to the secondary site and in the event of failure we can switch the roles and make secondary as primary and then perform the system copy steps on the MSCS. the drawback here is that it will take a long time to bring the system online if we perform the system copy. Our RTO is one hour only so this is not acceptable.
Question : Is there anyway we can install the Central Services and Applicaiton servers beforehand on the secondary site on the secondary log-shipped database so that in the event of failure all we do is bring the secondary database primary and then start the SAP on the secondary site ?
If yes then can anyone point me the any SAP note or documentation that has the details of how to do this.
I have already looked at 1101017, 965908 but its not clear how we can perform the installation on the JAVA stack only.
We want to implement similar to what is shows in the below diagram :

I did looked at the HA web page from SAP and configured MSCS for HA but there's no information regarding DR setup. All it says is setup a log shiping which we already know but there's no procedure to setup SAP on the DR site(Passive SAP central instance)
My original question still stands :
- Is system copy the only option that we need to perform at the DR site in the event of failure ( Assumption is that we ieve make the secondary database as primary and also sync file system for JAVA using SAN replication technologies)
- We have to achieve an RTO of 1 hour which is not possible in this case as performing system copy using MSCS HA option will take few hours to setup and test.
-The link "http://help.sap.com/saphelp_apo/helpdata/en/fc/33c028d58511d386ee00a0c930df15/content.htm" shows that we can have SAP PAssive central instance. Whats the procedure of installing this Passive instance on the secondary site so in the event of failure all we do is make the secondary database primary and bring the SAP system online(installed already - no system copy performed) and also file system is already is sync.

Hi Dear,
First you have to Retry the installation and if you will get same error then you have to check logs SAPSDIC package and invalid_objects.txt in C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\ERP\SYSTEM\ORA\CENTRAL\AS. i have also faced like these errors and if the installation continued after Retry then ok otherwise you have to reinstall the sapinst.

SAP R/3 4.6C installation on HP-UX 11.31

We have the old system based IBM server with HA environment, Cluster software is HACMP.
Now, the goal is: Migrate the SAP R/3 4.6C system to HP hardware.
Hardware: HP rx6600 & rx8640 server with MC/SG (cluster software);
DB& SAP R3 version: Oracle 9.2.0.6, R/3 4.6C non-unicode;
Here is my question:
Could you give me some wise recommendations regarding how to implement the new installation of SAP R/3 on HP-UX 11.31 with MC/SG?
Because I am confused that how to configure the Oracle RAC on MC/SG(of HP).
I try to find the installation documents for R/3 4.6C,
but I could not find the detail configuration for cluster environment, especial for HP's MC/SG.
If somebody could share the installation manual or recommendations to me, I would appreciate your great support!

SAP EP 6.0 SR1 installation

I have problem with SAP EP 6.0 SR1 (SP9) installation on WinXP SP2. HW: Intel P4 2.6GHz, 2Gb RAM. Oracle 9.2.0.5 installed locally.
Installation stopped on stage "Load Java Database Content" with string "Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_08-b03, mixed mode)" in the status line.

Hi Praveen,
I know that XP doesn't supported officialy, but we have successfully installed SAP EP SR1 on other XP workstations. The problem with this particular workstation. It's standart NW'04 SR1 installation.
The next problem that during installation occurs windows error of Oracle TNS Listener process This error still exist after Oracle (9.2.0.5) reinstallation.
So I don't know where the problem is... In Oracle or XP configuration...

SAP Strategy management and Netweaver installation

Hi experts,
i want to install SAP strategy management 10.0 on windows for SQL Server. I was reading through the installation guide and one of its prerequisite is to install netweaver and also deploying FCP and other components.
Below is the files i downloaded but i dont get any file to install. There's no installation files after extracting the downloaded files. Also i dont know where to get the JSPM to deploy the SCA components.
Urgent Help on how to get this installations done successfully will be appreciated with possibly screenshots.

The EHP1 or just the normal Netweaver?
The normal one does not have any installation file.
Please help me on that too.
