Hi Experts
Pls...Help me out regarding my sap R/3 4.6c startup problem.. <u>on my local machine</u>
while staring the server, i am getting the following errors...
<u>The message server starts but the dispatcher doesn't start..</u>
1. The dispatcher shows status "stopped" in the SAP MMC.
2.The "dev_disp" file shows these errors:

The "My Safe" bit seems to be a Toshiba programme written by UPEK as part of the fingerprinting set-up on the Satellite 200. My Safe is an encrypted folder that is sitting on the desktop. The problem I had was that it no longer did anything when I double clicked it. The problem occurred after I went through the Norton de-install and then install routines. (I was trying to install Ghost but it would not install.
Then I found a Norton Protection suite which I never used had been installeed on my U200 when I bought it and I had to deinstall it before Ghost would install.) I think you were correct that Norton was the cause of the problem because it corrupted something in the UPEK programme.
After a little thrashing about I found that I could download the UPEK programme from Toshiba and I did that and re-installed the fingerprint stuff and My Safe then worked. your response did give me the heart to find the answer.

A 135 will not start at all, no lights are on

I may have overheated my laptop. I added more memory a few weeks ago but I don't think that is why it stopped working.

please furnsih entire model# to better assist. If you added more memory did you ensure compatability first? Were they seated properly-hear the clicks? Not all memory is created equal. Kingston has a designed a web core to ensure exact match for memory for Toshiba models. Did you hear beeps when you powered the unit on? Check power supply, remove battery, check memory access area, check fan and exhaust port to be free of debris. It is possible that the shutdown is due to memory incompatibility as a precaution but you would have heard a beep sound off. Can you hit F2 upon boot up? If not, by doing above suggestions-trip to Authorized Service provider is in order. How about trying to put original memory in, no battery.

Satellite L450D-13U will not start at all

Yesterday the screen on my L450D when blank and then the machine closed down.
Now it will not start at all.
There are no lights on display when the power cable is attached.
When the start button is pressed all that happens is there is a momentary flash of the On light (not sure if that's the right name) and the DVD light.
You can also hear the fan starting up but that immediately goes off.
That's all that happens.
I've tried without the battery, tried discharging the battery.
Has my laptop just died?
Is there any hope or should I just move on?

I will agree with checking your RAM.
The best way to do so before you buy anything is to check each stick.
Remove the battery and AC cord, and press the power button several times to make sure the system is fully discharged.
Once it is discharged, ground yourself and pull the RAM cover. Remove the top stick ONLY. Plug the laptop back in, and try to boot it.
If you get nothing, swap the stick you pulled for the one that is still in the system, and try again.
After that, if it still does not want to boot up, take it to a shop. It could be something as simple as the BIOS battery being dead, or a burnt out power mosfet.

SAP MMC does not start and red in color

Hi Gurus,
We are in a process of installing EhP4 and there were lots of errors. We reverted back to old version.
After moving back to old state i.e., EhP3, system does not start.
1. SAPosCol does not start acutomatically in the service
2. sapmmc does not show database details
3. When I try to start the server through SAPMMC, all esmart03 0, esmart03 1 turns to red.
Please let me know how i can fix this problem.
I want to post screen shot, but i am not sure how i can post the same here.

We had taken system system backup (complete "E" drive) where SAP server is installed. I had to stop EhP4 process as we got a requirement to bringup NWBC.
We restored the "E" drive content and then restarted the SAP server.
After that servies did not start and MMC does not show up Database details.
Do i need to create services and MMC to fix the issues??

J2ee dispatcher can not start

I have installed a CRM system with ABAP+JAVA. But now the j2ee dispatcher can not start,so do the server0. I don not know any reason,the network.log show the following information: 'p4 Port 50,106 is in use'.
Does anyone who has some idea about this situation?

Per my understanding that you can't get the expect result by using the expression "=Count(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4) " to count the the TICKET_STATUS which value is 4, the result will returns the count of all the TICKET_STATUS values(206)
but not 180, right?
I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, the issue caused by you are using the count() function in the incorrect way, please modify the expression as below and have a test:
=COUNT(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4 ,1,Nothing))
or
=SUM(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS=4,1,0))

firefox was working this morning but in the afternoon, after i got off a game that did not require use of firefox, firefox would not start. it does not show up in the task manager and typing "firefox.exe -ProfileManager" into the search box opens a crash report which neither restarts firefox nor quits it. further attempts to do the same results in the same crash report.
restarting the computer does not help.

It just stays on screen with USB and the iTune picture. What can I do to get it going again. I only tried to upgrade because I was prompted to up-grade and now I am helpless. That number is for an apple server in the UK that is used for iMessage activation. A hidden SMS is snet to that number when you turn iMessage on and is used to verify your phone number. I suggest you turn iMessage off. In settings/phone turn on dial assist. Check with your carrier to see if you can send an international SMS as you end that possibility to activate iMessage. Rest your phone (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).) then turn iMessage back on.
