SAP R/3 FICO CONFIGURATION

Hi Gurus,
Can any one have soft copy of
Configuring SAP R/3 FICO" by Quentin Hurst and David Nowak.
I would appreciate, if someone could forward to me at [email protected]
Full points will be rewarded.
Thanks
Mohit

Hi Suresh,
Its mainly for costing based COPA.
You need to know MM pricing.
MM is involved in COPA mainly from variances on RM purchases or revaluation of stocks or purchases for COGS related items.
As an alternative, You can reach me at [email protected]
Thanks
Ajay

  • Integration documentation for sap sd with fico and mm

    hi Sappers,
I need Documentation for SAP SD with FICO and MM Module
    its very urgent.
    mail id : [email protected]

    <b>Some basic information :</b>
    FI-MM: The integration between FI-MM happens in T-code: <b>OBYC</b>
      1. When PO is created :
    No Entry -
      2. When GR is posted
Inventory Account dr (Transaction Key BSX in OBYC)
To GRIR account (T.Key WRX in T-code OBYC)
      3. When Invoice is posted
          GRIR account Dr.
          Vendor account  Cr.
      4. Payment made to Vendor
          Vendor A/c Dr
                To Bank Clearing A/c Cr.
Points to know : Movement Types, Assignment of Movement types to T-keys (T-code OMJJ), Value string (I also need some information on this) , OMWN and OMWB transactions.
There is a close integration b/w FI & MM, actually document flows from MM to FI in the following areas such as,
    <u> 1. Movement Types:</u>
Used to enable the system to find the predefined posting rules determining how the accounts of financial accounting system are to be posted & to update the stock fields in the matrl master data.(Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, etc)
    <u> 2. Valuation Class:</u>
Assignment of material to grp of gl account, used to determine the gl accounts that are updated as a result of goods movement.
    <u>3. Transaction/Event key:</u>
Used to control the storage or filing of documents & assignment of documents.Used to differeniate b/w various transactions such as goods movement tht occur in inventory.
    <u> 4. Material Type:</u>
Each material should assign mtrl type in mtrl master record used to update whether changes made in qty are updated in material master record & change in value also updated in stock account.
    <u><b> FI-SD Integration:</b></u>
The integration is done in T-code VKOA
    <u>  1. Sales Order Created</u>
            -No Entry-
      <u>2. PGI done (Goods issue)</u>
Cost of Goods Sold     Dr (Configured in OBYC GBB T-Key)
               To Inventory Account
    <u>  3. Billing document released to Accounting</u>
            Customer Account Dr.
To Sales Revenue Account (ERL T-key in Pricing procedure)
Note : The GL account is assigned to this ERL in VKOA
    <u> 4. Payment Received</u>
            Bank Clearing A/c Dr
                           Customer A/c Cr.
Points to Know : Good to understand the pricing procedure and how the different transaction keys are used like ERL, ERS etc

  • EPI use of hierarchies in SAP R/3 FICO

    Hi
This is related to a BW report which gets its data from SAP R/3 FICO.
We are facing a problem wherein development R/3 and quality R/3 are not in sync. Since they are not in sync with respect to  Customer Group Hierarchy (PH6) our BW report does not work.
This hierarchy is created in SAP and then BW picks up any amendments when a material master update routine is run.
The problem is that we have a correct version of this hierarchy in P01(live system) which ideally we would like to be able to copy back into R01(quality) and D01(development) so these can then be updated in BD1(BW development) and BQ1(BW quality). We would probably need to copy back a Customer Group Table (T151) as well.
I believe there is a SAP functionality called EPI-Use that may allow us to do this and was wondering if any of your guys have used this process and could advise whether this is possible or not.
It would save a significant amount of work if we were able to use this facility.
    Any help would be welcome.
    Thanks.

    Hi  karthik,
thanks, please let me Know , in which tables,The SAP components are get stored.
    like all infoobjects, infoarea,ods,infocubes,data sources,etc.
Eg: ods is get stored in "RSDODSO" tables.
    Thanks,
    santosh.

  • SAP J2EE engine for configuring Java mail Service.

    Hi
I am experiencing following exception when trying to use JAVA mail API.
    javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;
    nested exception is:
    javax.mail.SendFailedException: 554 <email@ddress>: Recipient address rejected:
    Relay access denied
    email address above is valid..
I have to use SAP J2EE engine for configuring Java mail Service.
But is does not hav any such access permissions to check....!!

    Relay access denied
To send mails from SAP system through the mail server which you have configured, SAP server should be permitted to relay through the mailserver. Then only you will be able to send mail to external email address. Otherwise, you will get the above message.
You must contact the mail server administrator and ask him to add the ip of SAP server into the allowed relay list.
If you are using MS exchange server as your mail server and if you have administrative access to the Exchange box, you can do it yourself by following the below steps:
1.Verify that your Exchange computer is not an open mail relay. To do this, follow these steps:
    a.      Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
    b.      In Exchange System Manager, expand the following object:
    Servers\Your_Exchange_Server_Name\Protocols\SMTP
    c.      Right-click the virtual SMTP server where you want to prevent mail relay, and then click Properties.
    d.      Click the Access tab, and then click Relay.
    e.      By default, open relay is blocked. The default settings are as follows:
u2022     The Only the list below check box is selected.
u2022     The Allow all computers which successfully authenticate to relay, regardless of the list above check box is selected.
    f.      If you must permit a single computer, a group of computers, or a domain to relay through the server, click Add. In the Computer dialog box, click the appropriate selection for the computers you want to relay through the server. Then, type the required information.
Note Enabling access by IP address or by domain name is helpful for users who do not authenticate with the Exchange computer.
    g.      In the Relay Restrictions dialog box, click OK.
    h.      Click Apply, and then click OK in the Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties dialog box.
    hope this helps you out...
    Cheers,
    Jazz

  • Integration between SAP HR and FICO module regarding advance payments

    Hi friends,
Can anybody tell me that is there any type of integration possible in SAP HR and FICO module regarding advance payments?
I mean to say that, if any advance payment made in cash department through FICO module on behalf of any employee vender and the amount is recover from that employee salary ( in full or installment ) through HR module in time of salary process. Is it possible that the recovery will reflect in FICO module also.
Eg. :  Suppose one employee has taken an advance of Rs. 10000 from Accounts & the amount is recovered from his salary by Hr as Rs. 5000 per month. After first month salary is it show as Rs. 5000 to be recovered from him in the FICO module.
Please let me inform that is it possible in SAP. If yes then how?
I shall wait for your warm response.
    With regards,
    Diptendu

    Hi Sikindar,
Thanks for your reply, it's really helpful for me. But can you please tell me that, is there any way to automatized it.
I want to mean that, what ever fitment is made by the accounts in FICO it will reflect in payslip and related reports of HR module.
    Eg. :-
If anyone take any advance from accounts, after make an entry in FICO, it will directly reflect in his payslip as a note and also display in the salary related report of HR.
In time of recovery, it will automatically deduct the amount from his salary and reflect in his payslip ( in the deduction part ) and reports as per mansion installment ( The no. and amount of installment should be maintain in FICO. )
    With regards,
    Diptendu

    Hello.
I experienced initial version of WSRM but as I know.....
Basically FSCM data is based on PI and WSRM is just kind of cover using web service.
So you can see sync, async messages in tcode SXI_MONITOR even if WSRM configured.
As you see when set up in SOAMANAGER, WSRM just cover web service on existing PI interface and it's transfered through bgRFC, scheduler, ICM etc... but PI interface architecture is still used and only PI server is not used.
    Hope it helps.

    hi
    Hi,
After the PO has been created in SAP, from the finance side, they will post LC the functionality is similar to bill of exchange or as a noted item. While posting the transaction, in the reference field PO number will be maintained.
Once the Goods are received at port.
Customs duties has to be paid, for this you have to post an invoice through tcode: MIRO for the customs clearing agent with reference to your PO(For customs duties you have to maintain appropriate condition types in PO and against these condition types, custom clearing agents number(vendor number) has to be maintained. All these condition types are to be created with condition category 'delivery costs').
For imports PO -- GR based-IV should not be checked becoz before receiving the goods you have to clear the custom duties.
Then once the goods are received you will post the GR and the you will post the invoice for the material vendor.
Then from the finance side, they will clear, whenever they post the clearing transaction to the vendor, LC realted transaction gets reversed automatically. Bank account will be -ve and your vendor account will be +ve.
Note: Tracking of LC has to be done manually as the functionality is not complete in SAP.
Process Of Letter of Credit for Imports
