  • SAP GUI for Java 7.10 rev 7 - strange behavior using mouse

    Hi,
I use last revision of SAP GUI for Java 7.10 on linux and I've noticied that some mouse actions do not work as expected. I'll use describe an examples:
    (1)
In rev.6 I simly push button on screen and move over text, text is marked and then I can use CTRL-C to copy text to clipboard.
In rev.7 pushing button and move does nothing. I need one initial click more and then it works as expected.
    (2)
Click to icon in an ABAP list sometimes activate another icon from screen (it seems that focus isn't moved from its previous position to new mouse cursor position).
Because rev.7 has been released at the end of 2008, it is possible, that some dotted revision (solving these troubles) has been released, does anybody know solution?
    Thank you for some hints,
      Pavel

    Hello Pavel,
we have not yet been aware of such issues, so a newer dotted version would likely not make a difference.
    (1) The behavior pretty much depends on the specific component you are clicking and selecting its text.
So a specific test case identifying the component is required to investigate the issue.
    (2) Also for this case I ask to provide the exact context, even if it happens there only "sometimes".
Please provide also information requested in [note 326558|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/326558], parts 2.) and 3.)
If you could provide all this as part of a [support message|http://service.sap.com/message] would be great.

    Hi
From which site I can download SAP GUI for Java 7.00 or 7.10 for MaC os 10.4 or 10.5 version
    Regards,
    Harish Shetty

    Hello Harish,
SAP GUI for Java 7.00 and 7.10 are no longer supported and as a result, are not available from SAPs download locations.

  • SAP GUI for Java - Problem

    Hi!
When I try to open a new mode in SAP GUI for Java (Release 7.10 rev 4 with Java Version 1.5.0_15-b04), I receive the following error:
    Error when starting "gmux server"!
    JniGmuxManager status = -1
Has anybody got an idea how to fix this?
    Regards
    Thomas

    Hello Thomas,
that could have many reasons like incomplete installation of SAP GUI for Java, unresolved dependencies (to dynamically linked libraries like C/C++ runtimes) etc.
    What platform?
Is there any output on the console?
I suggest to file a bugreport on http://service.sap.com/message and add a trace according to  [note 683960|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/683960].

  • Error with SAP GUI for Java 6.40 rev6

    Hello,
we have a problem with the print preview on SAPGUI for Java Version 6.40rev6.
The problem occurs on Linux  (Ubuntu and Suse) but also on WindowsXP.
So i guess it's a problem with the Sap Client?
Instead of the print preview only the message:
    "No pilot configured for 'application/pdf'"
On the  Ubuntu and WindowsXP systems we testet the SAPGUI for Java 7.10rev5 which works perfectly, but we can't use it on the Suse systems because their libc is too old.
    regards,
    Piotr

    Dear Rolf-Martin,
I have problem w/ sapgui java  that puzzled me all along ...
I've downloaded SAPGUI Java 700r2.1 .. then successfully installed in my PPC ibook G4 ... up and running well ...
one day my colleague with a new MacBook (Intel Core Duo 2GHz) want to have SAPGUI ...
i installed it, run the apps, it works well to the point of SAPLOGON window ...
But it cannot connect to any server defined ...
When I create a new connection, it correctly connected to server and group list can be chosen, but still when I click it to connect nothing happened as if the program not running.
Java -version is 1.5.0_07 .. software update checked, no issue with Java or else ...
I've also try to change the JDK to 1.4.2 to no avail.
I'm stuck. system already re-installed. install sapgui from fresh but problem still persist.
No clue from Googling ... no clue from sapnotes ...
Would you please point me to something so I can dig in ?
    Regards,

  • Download problems SAP GUI for Java 7.20 rev 3

    Hi all,
i want to download the SAP GUI for Java 7.20 rev 3.
    Greetings
    Meinolf Gerling

    Hello Meinolf,
no problem posting in German language, but I reply in English hoping that more people can benefit from this thread.
When the attempt to start the download results in an http error "403 Forbidden", please refer to the notes <a target=
            "_blank" href=
            "https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1069565">1069565</a> and <a target="_blank" href=
            "https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1037574">1037574</a> or <a target="_blank" href="https://service.sap.com/message">create a support message</a> on component XX-SER-SAPSMP-SDM.
I admit that downloading by anonymous ftp was more convenient, but we were no longer allowed to use this channel, because it bypasses the export regulations implemented in Service Marketplace. I am sorry for this.
