SAP Remote Connection Fails via Windows VPN.

Hi,
I am trying to connect to a customer SAP system via Windows NT VPN. Although I am able to connect to its SAP server(succesful VPN connection), I am not able to log on to SAP with SAP GUI. I was told that the problem can be rasied due to the conflicting SAP application server numbers both in customer side  with the ones in our office. As far as I understand, both sides (customer and our office betwork) have same number ranges for SAP servers. However I can connect from any place other than our office. How can I find a solution to connect to the customer's SAP system? Thanks for your quick replies.
Best Regards.
UE.

  • Remotely connect to network with VPN

I'd like to remotely connect to our local network using VPN. I've tried vnc://external_IP.., but it fails with a message that screen sharing is not engaged.
How can I access this local network and specifically, individual Macs on the network?

First, you need to establish which VPN protocols can be used to connect to your network - your IT people should be able to give you this information. If it's a Cisco or L2TP/PPTP VPN connection, you should be able to use the Network Preferences to create a new VPN connection and use the appropriate login information to connect.
If you have an IPSec VPN system, you can use the free IPSecuritas to connect.
Either way, you need to get the detailed connection parameters from your network admin before you can connect from the outside world. Once you're connected, you should be able to connect to any local services (screen sharing, file sharing, etc) using local addresses instead of external IP addresses.
    hope that helps

Is SAP Router is installed and configured. Is it registered under the customer ID in SMP. Once you register in SMP you need to import in the SAP Router.
If SAP Router is already configured, have set up a connection in OSS1 t code.
if not check the link for the Router installation https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/SAPROUTER

  • Remote Connection Fails - OSX 10.8.2  !!!

I have been connecting to my computers anywhere in the world using back to my mac for a long time with Lion OSX and everything was fine. My iMac is connected to an airport extreme device at home and I used this pathway to connect remotely and access my files and share screen service. Since upgrading to Mountain Lion there have been a couple of issues in this regard:
    1) While my iMac is at sleep mode I dont see it on my Macbook pro or when I see it the connection fails, I have to come home re-login on my iMac to make the connection work remotely.
    2) Even when I make the remote connection between my iMac and Macbook pro, back in the days I used to get the message that I am connected as my user id but now on my Macbook Pro I get connection failed although I'm connected and have full acess to my files and sharing.
Any suggections would be appreciated as I am suffering alot because I have most of my files on my iMac and need to access them from office and prefer to use the same old "back to my mac" service and not any other remote connection apps.

Thanks for the reply but there is no option tab or wake for administration use in mountain lion 10.8.2, I only have the wake for network access which is on, I didnt used to have this problem before snow leopard now I have to manually re-login after computer wakes and then access remotely ........

  • Is there a good free application to remote connect to a windows vista comp?

I have been looking and unable to find a good application that allows one to remote connect through the iphone to a vista computer. If anyone has done this or knows an application capable of this please let me know. Thanks!

There is "LogMeIn" application for iPhone which you can purchase from the Apps store for about $30. On the target machine install a free application from
    https://secure.logmein.com/US/products/free/
... and off you go. Works like a charm. With the free version you won't be able to transfer files, ... but you can't do that with iPhone anyways.

  • Remote Connections fails

When i go into Edit > Remote COnnections and enable it, then set a password and click ok, I get the following error:
"Could not complete the Remote Connections command because of a program error"
I search google, but didn't find anything.  This used to work fine, not sure what has changed.  Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks

Why are you asking that question in the Photoshop scripting forum?

  • SAP gateway connection failed

Due to restructure in DMZ in our network, IP addr of our R3 server is changed from 172.20.x.x to 192.168.x.x. and the original IP is NATted for connections. We can able to access SAPGUI, but RFCs from this server to other systems is not working. We are not able to remote logon from RFC to this R3 system from other servers, because of same issue.

  • Sap b1 setup failed on Windows Vista -Home edition

    Hi experts,
I installed SQL-2005 on windows vista home edition and also installed SAP B1-2007B-PL09 but it shows error connection with License server failed and SAP B1 service manager-License Manager 2007 are also disable .so my question is it SAP b1 support Windows vista-home edition.pl suggest me solution.
    Regards,
    Sudhir pawar

    Sudhir,
Windows Vista home edition is not a supported Operating system.
That being said, the reason that your license manager is not enabled is more than likely not due to this fact.
Close the server tools, and relaunch but this time right-click and 'run as administrator' this should enable all the options and allow the license server to start.
You may also want to view the system requirements PDF available in the SAP B1 document resource center, this should give you some insight into supported platforms.
    I hope this helps,
    Lucas

I have found the reason for this... Actually i have ANT installed in my system prior to OIM installation... it was the culprit. Build was failing because i have two ANT's (one that comes with OIM and other ANT which is already installed)
I have removed the path and ANT_HOME environment variables.. .and my installation was successful

Same issue here, looking for more information !

  • Known issue: Remote deployment fails when windows 10 C++ apps (Windows Universal) with a reference to a Windows Runtime Component is deployed in a remote machine (Windows 10 Insider Preview SDK and tools, April 2015 release)

When you attempt to deploy a windows 10 C++ Universal app that has a reference to a Windows Runtime component, to a Remote Machine (windows 10 machine), you will get an error message instead of successful deployment.

Right click solution, Go to Properties -> Configuration Properties -> Configuration - Uncheck "Deploy" checkbox for the Windows Runtime Component project. Then retry deployment to remote machine.

  • Remote connection fails.

I take it you are using RMI (or EJB) to make the remote call, not soap
(at least, that's what the stack trace tells me). I'd try the
    weblogic.developer.interest.rmi-iiop newsgroup, although I suspect
they'll have a hard time with this one. Do you know what VM is being
    used in the servlet engine?

  • How can I connect to windows vpn

    Hello,
I am trying to connect to a Windows VPN through my macbook air running Lion. Anyone know how?

I was struggling with this for a few days as well!  Finally got it working though ! YAY !
    Here are the steps:
    1. Add this to your registry:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\PolicyAgent]
    "AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule"=dword:00000002
    2. Open secpol.msc (click start > search for secpol.msc)
    - Local Policies > Security Options
    - Network Security : LAN Manager Auth Level…
    - Set to: Send LM & NTLMv2 - UseNTLMv2…
    And
    - Network Security : Minimum session security… clients
    - uncheck "Require 128-bit encryption"
    3. Restart PC
    4. Create VPN Connection on Windows 7
    - Host Name: (server IP or yourhost.name.com)
    - PPP Settings : Enable LCP (only)
    - Type: L2TP/IPSec
    - Pre-shared key : yoursharedsecret
    - Data encryption : Optional encryption
    - Allow CHAO and CHAPv2
    5. Router on server-side must allow VPN Passthrough and forward ports: 50, 51, 500, 548, 1701, 1723, 4500 to the server box. Also, do not filter anonymous internet requests, multicast or NAT Redirection but enable SPI Firewall.
...now you should be good to go
