SAP Roadmap Composer

Where can I find the off line versie of "SAP Roadmap Composer"? Please provide me a link to download the composer.
It should contain SAP EAF, is this correct?

  • Solution Manager Roadmap Composer

Has anyone out there seen a Roadmap Composer?  I came across one a few months ago, but I am unable to locate it now.  Thanks!

    Hi,
    Roadmaps
The Roadmaps are part of the SAP Solution Manager. They contain the standard SAP implementation methodology and cover the most important aspects and phases of a SAP implementation. The Roadmaps provide links to accelerators and tools which perform project tasks.

The RoadMap UI element displays the steps in a wizard. Each step is represented by a separate RoadMapStep Object or MultipleRoadMapStep. You can use various symbols to mark the start points and the end points of this UI element. Assigning the value more to the property startPointDesign or endPointDesign indicates to the user that there are other steps before the first visible step, or after the last visible step.
The RoadMap UI element is used to display step by step workflows. This enables the application development to display small steps of a clearly defined work process.

  • How to activate SAP Visual Composer Reporting on ABAP Side

It is not in BI or in Portal.
And I have some problem to find documentation about it.
    Thank you a lot!

  • SAP Visual Composer tool

    Hi,
My  portal team is currently developing some reports using the SAP Visual Composer tool. How do we make a BW cube or ODS available for VC to see?
They can currently see only a few of the cubes, but we don't know how those are visible to VC and not others.
    Thanks
    PM

    PM,
i dont believe we can see cubes or ods thru VC, but only queries. if what you say is true, then its probably due to the user authorizations on BW. the userId you use in portal is normally mapped to a userId in the BW system. chck the userID that you're mapped to (in BW bckend) has the relevant authorizations to view those cubes etc.

  • SAP Productivity Composer Installation

    Hi,
    Need your help!
I am new to SPP and from quite some time I am stuck in installing SAP Productivity Composer. I had downloaded the same (SAP Productivity Composer by RWD 4.3 ) from SMP and got the HelpLaunch Pad pdf in it. However I didn't found the config files and uperform server installation guide in it.
From RWDAdmin_41 pdf I got to know that we need to install the servers first and it says -
"A complete set of hardware and software requirements for the server is included in the Technical
Specifications document delivered with the uPerform software."
Do we need to register at Ancile/RWD to get the files/software or I am completly wrong in my approach.
Please help guys, need your help urgently.
    Thanks

see if you have .sda files ? if yes, change it to be .zip.
Then you should be able to extract it and install.

  • SAP Solution Composer

    Hello,
I'm trying to download the SAP Solution Composer. After I hit the SUBMIT I get the same page where I fill out name, e-mail etc. So no file download! Any tips, how to download the Solution Composer? I understood this is a PC based tool.
    Regards,
    Lucas

    Hi,
I'm not quite sure but here are some suggestions:
    - is JavaScript turned on?
    - try with a different browser
    - check security settings of your browser, what happens when hitting SUBMIT is that you can download an install file named smc_public.exe which has to be executed to download Solution Composer. This was actually my problem when I installed Solution Composer the first time.

  • Is SPM Reporting Flex included in the SAP Roadmap

    Hi Rajesh, Rohit,
A quick question here regarding the SPM Flex reporting tool and whether this has been included in SAP's Roadmap strategy for the future.  I can't see any mention of it in any presentations or literature.  Concerns over whether it will become obsolete, etc.  Can't see it as the integration to other advanced features such as Spend Advisor and E-Sourcing is vital.
    Any advice welcome.
    Best regards,
    Pom

    Hi Pom,
Customer and partners have asked this question a few times before and a very valid one.  Nothing is a grantee, and I am no fortune teller.  As and when new technologies emerge SAP will evaluate them to weigh their benefits against existing choices.  Having said all of that, this architecture of delivering the flex UI for end users and using NW BW as the data warehouse is gaining popularity.  So Adobe Flex based UI is here to stay at least for the near future.
Starting mid this year you will see other applications in EPM (Enterprise Performance Management Suite) use this architecture and technology.  Some of them are already on this band wagon.  In fact SPM UI is being separated and this UI will be used by the other application.  Meaning all applications will have the same look and feel.
    Hope this helps
    Rohit

  • Delete Links to SAP Roadmap Accelerators in RMAUTH

I'm noticing some weird behavior in RMAUTH. Yesterday I deleted several of the links to roadmap accelerators in my custom roadmap. Today I logged in and they were there again.
Yesterday I had saved my changes, left the transaction and system, came back in and it was fine. But today it seems like the links are back.
    Anyone see this before?

    Hi Seshen,
The published IAC files should be under ITS server.
In the ITS server go to c:/program files/sap/its/../servicefilename/htmlprogramname
    or
    c:/sap/its/../servicefilename/htmlprogramname
In SAP R/3 you can find under se80.
Select "Internet service" from drop down list. Then search for IAC files. This is available after SAP R/3 4.6C.

  • Using SAP Solution Composer

    Hello,
I am using the Solution Composer for creating interactive pages which would eventually be part of our ESR on the lines of SAP's own ESR. However I've not been able to create pages the way I want them to look.
Can anybody help me accomplish what I'm trying to do?
Any kind of help will be appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Kumod.

Alright, let me give you some more specifics about what I am trying to do.
Using Solution composer I am trying to create HTML pages just like SAP's ESR pages. That is, the main business areas on the first page. Then on clicking on a business process, you are taken to another page listing the enterprise services available for that business process and then finally you are taken to the web service description page. This is the kind of functionality I am trying to achieve using Solution Composer. This can be easily achieved using Microsoft Frontpage, however I want to use Solution Composer for doing it.
Can anybody help me with this?
    Thanks!
    Kumod.

  • XI in SAP roadmap

    Hi,
Perhaps this is a newbie question, but i will still try:
We all know that XI is used by Xapps, other NW components (like MDM and BI), SRM etc'.
My question is when  (starting from what SAP version) XI will be anounced to be the out of the box "HUB" that will be used for data interchanges between R/3 and other systems from the mybusiness suite like CRM, PLM and SCM?
This will basically make it an indispensable tool and help very much to move forward its adoption.
    Thanks,

    Hi Roshwitha,
I would like to check few things in sap xi 3.0. Is it possible to get the trial version SAP XI 3.0 where i can create data types, message types, mapping etc... to get some hands on? please let me know is it possible?
as you mentioned in SAP netweaver 7.0 ABAP trail version, are you able to see new screens for creating mappings, etc...
Please let me know as soon as possible so that i will start trying.
    Thanks
    krish
