Hi Friends ,
In My Organization our employees are facing problem with SAP CONNECTION , every one week SAP ROUTER is getting restart , for 2, 3 minits ,
In that time we are unable to connect our servers. When i check for Router status its showing running only.
We asked our network team for any network problem, they replied no problems from network side.
I want to know the reason  for this problem and is there any job scheduled for restart the server ,where we need to check.
Please help me for this issue.

Hi Please find the log file in sm21..from last one month.in this file every Thursday morning at 10:02AM sap is disconnecting for all users.not only production ,Quality server and Development servers also happening same.
At the same time My SAP router time stamp also showing same time.
Please let me suggest where is the issue .

  • SAP Router Getting Stopped.

    Hi Guys,
We have been facing issue with our SAP Router version 710
Our Router is on Linux( RHEL 5 )host.
It gets stopped randomly and we have to manually start it again.
    Please advise how to proceed.
    Regards
    Abhishek

    Hi,
I tried  with -n option it only starts the router with new routtab
    Our routtab is fine.
Our issue is that the Router process on linux host is getting stopped automatically.
We use the below command to start the router
    nohup /usr/sap/Saprouter/saprouter -r -G tracefile_4 -W 60000 -K "p:CN=SOLXXXXX, OU=000111111, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" &

  • Same apps get installed every week

Mac Mini 2011. System 10.9.5. This has been going on for a couple of months. Every week the App Store insists that I install the same versions of the same 8 Apps. Sometimes there is a new item, and it installs just fine and doesn't repeat, but these same 8 apps get installed every single week. Since one of them is Xcode and another is iMovie, there is a lot of downloading going on.
After the install the machine will refuse to sleep. <pmset -g assertions> in Terminal shaows that storeagent is preventing sleep. It also prevents relaunching the App Store application. Force quitting storeagent restores the ability to lanch the App Store application and allows the machine to sleep until the next week. No idea what this is about.

    It doesn't guess very well.
Yeah, resetting the SMC didn't help with the mds-maintenence(?) (or whatever that process was called) persistence issue, and neither did reindexing both of which I did repeatedly. All indexes got deleted when I finally disabled Spotlight completely, so reenabling has created new ones. It's been a very frustrating problem which began with 10.9.0 I think. With 10.9.0 - 10.9.3, killing off the indexes and redoing fixed the problem until the next System Upgrade. This stopped working with the 10.9.4 upgrade. After that, nothing short of disabling Spotlight altogether fixed the sleep issue, and I was frustrated enough to do just that. Had intended to reenable it when 10.9.5 came along, but frankly forgot I had disabled it. Maybe it will work this time. It's been a very frustrating experience. I really do appreciate the heads up on the Spotlight/App store relationship as I had no idea about that.

  • Sbcore getting restarts every 60 minutes

This computer must be configured as a domain controller. It will be shut down in 30 minutes. To prevent this computer from shutting down, run Setup on the disk that you used to install the operating
system to configure the computer as a domain controller.

Yup.  SBS 2003 must hold all the FSMO roles otherwise it will reboot every hour on the hour.
So if you moved the fsmo roles, move them back.
If you didn't move the fsmo roles, use dcdiag to see what's wrong with them.
Bottom line this is expected with SBS 2003.
Unfortunately TechNet isn't coming back, sorry folks :-(

  • SAP cron service getting restarted

    Hi,
The SAP Cron service is getting restarted every 8 hours throwing following
    error in Event log viewer:
    The service was stopped.
Try to use 'c:/etc/kwtadm/crontab' as crontab
Try to use 'c:/etc/sdbadm/crontab' as crontab
The service was started (Version 1.6).
Due to this backup agensts are not running and backup is not done automatically.
Please suggest how to resolve this.
    Regards,
    Sushma

    > It is just like SAP<SID>_<instance number> windows service. We can find it in services.msc.
I have never seen that before. What application uses that?

  • ITunes Library.itl gets corrupted every time I restart my CISCO VPN enabled laptop.

    Hi,
iTunes Library.itl file gets corrupted everytime I restart my laptop.
I am using Lenovo T410 with Windows 7.
This is causing alot of problems as all my iPhone songs and apps get deleted after every sync.
    Please help.

    I have the same problem.
I have removed and re-installed iTunes. The music files are still intact but the library gets erased every time I restart the PC.
This means I have re-scan all my music files over and over again.
Also, an inspection of the iTunes directory reveals lots and lots of temp (iT*.tmp) files, all of them are about the same size as the iTunes library database (10mb in my case) so it looks like iTunes is not closing down correctly / writing the temp file back to the iTunes library (iTunes Library.itl)file.
    Can anybody help?

  • Modem - router getting reset for every 15 mins

My modem and router gets reset for every 15mins and every time I call Comcast not getting proper support . Can someone hear this. This happens every weekend.

    freezing at regular intervals:

Install add-on, run at least the option mentioned in the article, I ran them all. When finished you can uninstall the extension, all without taking taking Firefox down, The extension is one of the new JetPack extensions.

  • Router off for 2 weeks now speed keeps dropping of...

Having been on holiday, I turned my router off for the period I was away from home. Since I have got back I have been randomly experiencing speed dropping off to point where the connection is useless. I can't run the speedtester because it's so slow. The connection itself is stable i.e. my router is staying connected for long periods.
If I restart my router, when I reconnect I am synching at around 12mbps, and for long periods (sometimes 18 hours including overnight) the connection remains fast. Then, at various points during the day (2 or 3 times), the speed drops off and won't come back unless I restart the router. This seems to happen when the connection is in a period of inactvitiy eg. browsers left open but no one actively using computers/downloading on the connection. This only seems to happen only during the day. Overnight, the connection speed remains high as I have been checking every morning.
I'm slowly beginning to get fed up with having to restart the router, not to mention the fact that the exchange may perceive the connection drops as line instability rather than manual restarts and drop my synch rate accordingly. I have had to restart the router 2 or 3 times per day for the last 3 days.
Having checked the quietline there appears to be no interference on the line and all of my connections appear good - as indicated earlier, in the main the connection is stable and fast.
Can anyone indicate as to whether the fact I have had my router off for 2 weeks affected my IP profile? and this will resolve itself over time or should I just get on to tech support? The fact that this has started happening since I have been away just seems too much of a coincidence.
    Any help/opinion is appreciated.
    Regards
    Alex
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Thanks imjolly....
I'll definitely give it a try - hopefully things will start to bed down soon.
The problem with running the speedtester when it slows down is that it's so slow I simply can't run the speedtester - I can't access anything, so I have no way of measuring exactly how slow it's gone.
The hardware upgrade email I received on 7th Jul this year states
"Your line needs time to settle down
For the next ten days or so, your broadband might slow down or even stop now and again. That’s normal and your speed will soon settle down. You can help it along by leaving your BT Home Hub or router on all the time and using your broadband as much as you can for this period. "
Thats all fair enough, but nowhere does it give an indication of what is a reasonable period of time for it to "stop". It's almost as if the bb connection stops, as indicated above, but the equipment at the other end is unable to restart the connection and as a consequence I have to reboot my router to force the issue. As detailed above the process is also helped by "using your broadband connection as much as possible", but if it stops working as I've seen - I can't use it without restarting the router - so that puts me in a bit of a "chicken and egg situation".
Hopefully I'll be able to get away with leaving it alone for a few days.
    Thanks again for your input.

  • ArchLinux causes the router to restart

    Hello!
I don't know what exactly, but something causes the router to disconnects and restarts. And dhcpcd fails after reboot.
I'm having this problem since some iso releases. Like 5 or 6 months ago.
Well, I download the ISO, I dd it to a memory stick, and boot a PC with it. Everything goes fine, I do whatever I want. But after a while the router loses Internet connection and it does not accept any device to connect. Then, I reboot the PC, and dhcpcd@<whatever>fails. It doesn't matter if it's a wireless or wired connection. To get a connection, I restart the router (turn it off and on). But the router continuously restarts itself if I continue using the ArchLinux machines.
(To get the router working again, I disconnect any ArchLinux running machine and restart the router)
Because of that I thought it was the router, but I tried with other router (at another place) with my laptop, and I got the same result. The router restarts and everything. So I thought It was my laptop. I tried with another computer (a desktop) and I got the same result. Then I said "Maybe it's the memory stick", so I tried with other one... the same result. To be sure of that, I used other distro (LMDE) on those PC's with the same memory stick and different routers. Everything worked fine.
I've searched this issue on the forum and the Bug Tracker, but I don't find this exact problem. Or maybe I didn't get it because of my English. If this post is duplicated, or it's submitted on the bug tracker, I apologize and will be thankful for someone to redirects me. If is not, here are the PCs' specs and command outputs: (all using 2014.02.01 installation media)
If other command output (or output filtering) is necesary, please let me know.

    Hi!
Well, I turned off the WiFi physical switch, turned on the computer and then I did:
    sudo systemctl disable NetworkManager
    sudo systemctl disable dhcpcd
    sudo systemctl disable netctl
I'm not sure if that's enough.
Then I rebooted the machine, connected the ethernet cable, and:
    [me@there ~]$ sudo dhcpcd
    dhcpcd[520]: version 6.1.0 starting
dhcpcd[520]: no interfaces have a carrier
dhcpcd[520]: forced to background, child pid 639
I ping Google, and I could reach it, but I could not connect some other device. Then:
    [me@there ~]$ sudo dhcpcd -x
    dhcpcd[742]: sending signal 15 to pid 639
dhcpcd[742]: waiting por pid 693 to exit
    Again:
    [me@there ~]$ sudo dhcpcd
    dhcpcd[746]: version 6.1.0 starting
    dhcpcd[746]: wlp3s0: up_interface: Operation not possible due to RF-kill
    dhcpcd[746]: enp2s0: rebinding lease of 192.168.1.70
    dhcpcd[746]: wlp3s0: waiting for a carrier
dhcpcd[746]: no interfaces have a carrier
    dhcpcd[746]: enp2s0: soliciting a DHCP lease
    dhcpcd[746]: timed out
dhcpcd[746]: forced to background, child pid 868
And, just to be sure, ping returned "unknown host".
After a while, the router restarted.
I also looked for a newer firmware for my router, but I couldn't find one, nor the manufacturer home page.
And I have thought like that, fukawi2, ArchLinux is so Up-To-Date, other things may fail.
I can request a new router to my ISP, but I may encounter this issue again when I use my laptop somewhere else.

  • Every week Production is Non-Functional - How to resolve this?

    Dear Legends,
    Our ENV:
OS - Redhat Linux 64 bit
    DB - 11.2.0.3 RAC
    Weblogic - 10.3.6
    SOA Suite - 11.1.1.6 - we have 2 managed soa_servers and 1 admin server
    JVM - Sun JDK 1.6.0_29
    RAM - 24G
For the past month we are facing the following issues very often
    1. EM is extremely slow - due to low space in DB - Tot - 47G Usd - 42G Free - 5G
    2. If we click any of the process sometimes it will come with a FABRIC WARNING Status with duration of 30mins - Is it due to the Dehydration space? We do purge every week but still we have more than 50000 records which is older than 90days.
    3. Often now a days we are getting stuck threads and utilizing the JVM fully and getting the servers to react badly. - Is there a way to UNSTUCK a STUCK THREAD MANUALLY?
Please help me to avoid servers going down until we have our maintenance.
    Thanks,
    Karthik

    Hi,
Thanks, I expected that purge would be the issue but the purge scripts are looking only for the states which are in completed state. It is not looking for RUNNING and FAULTED, FAULTED, FAULT and COMPLETE, FAULT and RUNNING.
To solve third issue, you'll have to take some thread dumps in the time you have a Stuck Thread on your JVM. If you post it here, I can help you analize it and detect what its causing this behavior.Currently I have 2 Stuck Threads in soa_server1 and it is prevailing for 3days which shows WARNING Status. Thread dumps are here
And NO, there is no way to unstuck a thread. The only way to solve it is to setup work manager to restart this jvm when a thread become stucked. But the right way its to investigate the thread issues.Restarting JVM wont affect other web service calls? What will be the servers reaction when a work manager is restarting the JVM?

  • HomeHub 5 Rebooting/Restarting Every 15 Days!!

    Hi All,
Apologies if this has already been covered but I am at my whits end. I have had Inifinty 2 for over a year now and my HH5 seems to restart every 15 days as if its on a timer.. I recently had an engineer out as my line went iffy as my max speed reduced by about 20mb and the max available was showing incorrectly too. He put my line on to some new pairs up to the cabinet... The speeds are fantastic as they aleady were and my line was back up running in no time.. Sure enough though.... 15 days exactly later and the hub restarted itself albeit the speeds stayed the same... What on earth doe the HH5 do this for or is there something wrong with my line?? I would love to get to the bottom of this as surely these restarts will affect my speed.
      Info from the router:
Whilst typing this i notice that my hub restarted itself again last night to apply the firmware update.. ending 204... perhaps this might mean the end of the restarts
    Any advice gratefully accepted

Another poster {DavidCo} recommend to set the dhcp lease the max 21 day setting on the hh5 to see if that helps.
    15 days is pretty good for the hh5 & shouldn't really attract the dreaded dlm's attention. {Unless its on a counter phase ?}
Good guide on how the dlm works from BTRetails sister isp pluesnet  . http://community.plus.net/library/browsing/fttc-dlm-what-it-is-how-it-works/
If you don't want to loss the lines connection when the hh5 updates ( or what ever other mischief it gets upto ) You need to use it in tandem the an openreach modem as "guru ray_d"  often highlights .
That way the hh5 can concentrate on just being a router , rather than an all singing 'n' dancing all-in-one.

    Hello my friend
It could be certificate didn't import properly or routtab content is not correct. Here's your checklist:
    Creating the certificate request
    1) As user <snc_adm> set the environment variables SNC_LIB and SECUDIR
    2) Change to the alias SAPROUTER-SNCADD. From the list of SAProuters registered to your installation, choose the relevant u201CDistinguished Nameu201D.
    3) Generate the certificate Request with the command:
    sapgenpse get_pse -v -r certreq -p local.pse u201C<Distinguished Name>u201D
You will be asked twice for a PIN here. Please choose a PIN and document it, you have to enter it identically both times. Then you will have to enter the same PIN every time you want to use this PSE.
    4) Display the output file "certreq" and with copy&paste (including the BEGIN and END statement) insert the certificate request into the text area of the same form on the SAP Service Marketplace from which you copied the Distinguished Name.
    5) In response you will receive the certificate signed by the CA in the Service Marketplace. Copy&paste the text to a new local file named "srcert", which must be created in the same directory as the sapgenpse executable.
    6) With this in turn you can install the certificate in your saprouter by calling:
    sapgenpse import_own_cert -c srcert -p local.pse
    7) Now you will have to create the credentials for the SAProuter with the same program (if you omit -O <user_for_saprouter>, the credentials are created for the logged in user account).
    sapgenpse seclogin -p local.pse -O <user_for _saprouter>
Note: The account of the service user should always be entered in full <domainname>\<username>
    8) This will create a file called "cred_v2" in the same directory as "local.pse"
    9) Check if the certificate has been imported successfully with the following command:
    sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer
The name of the Issuer should be:
    CN=SAProuter CA, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE
    10) If this is not the case, delete the files "cred_v2"and "local.pse" and start over at Item 3.
Additional actions necessary before you can start SAProuter
    1.     Check if the environment of the user running SAProuter contains the environment variable SNC_LIB and SECUDIR
    2.     Start the SAProuter with the following command line (to start the SAProuter as a Windows service, please follow the steps described in SAP note 525751):
                   saprouter -r -S <port> -K "p:<Distingushed Name>"
-K tells the saprouter to start with loading the SNC library
    3.     The corresponding file "saprouttab" should look like:
    SNC-connection from and to SAP
    KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 *
SNC-connection from SAP to local R/3-System for Support
    KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" * *
SNC-connection from SAP to telnet in your network
    KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" * 23
Access from the local Network to SAPNet - R/3 Frontend (OSS)
    P * 194.39.131.34 3299
    KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <your IP> <port>
