HI Everyone, A warm reagrds! W e are planning to upgrade our current SAP Product and Portfolio Management 4.0 to 5.0.While doing the Upgrade analysis I have come across below these questions..Has anyone earlier in this forum have come across
1.What are the side effects of this upgrade on existing system?
2. We have 21 client environment on top of the 3 standard clients provided by SAP. What can be the best approach for upgrading the systems? Some of these clients are used by project teams for prototype development , how would the upgrade affect their working (they are not working on this package)?
3. Our team is working on this package in one of the client and have created scenarios in the system. What will be the effect of this upgrade ? (this question can be seen as an extension to question 1)
4. How much effort would be required to carry out this upgrade and what will be the down time for the system?
I have check the service market place and help.sap but at present not getting much info..

Hi,
If the drive is not showing in the list of bootable devices, you can be fairly certain that it has suffered a Hardware failure and will need to be replaced.

In order to take the credit card off of the account, you will need to open the iTunes program on your computer, pick the option for store from the left, and then pick account from the right under quick links. In the account you should be able to change credit card type to 'none' and/or add a gift card.
If you are doing this from iphone, ipad, or ipod touch, it will be under settings > store
if you continue having problems, you can contact itunes directly by filling out the form below. they will follow up via email to make sure your account issue is resolved

If the screen on your iPhone is dark but the phone otherwise seems to be responding (sounds, etc), an Accessability feature known as Screen Curtain may have inadvertently been activated. You may find the following section of the iOS 7 for iPhone manual helpful (Apendix A - Accessability, in the Voiceover section on pg 126):
Turn the screen curtain on or off. Triple-tap with three fingers. When the screen curtain is on, the screen contents are active even though the display is turned off.

SAP Versus Miscroft Dynaimcs for project and portfolio Management.

Dear All,
First of apologies if this is not the right fourm to post this thread.
I am working in a company at group level, where one of our business unit wants to implement Microsoft Dynamics for project adn portfolio management. We at group level have make sure that before giving a goahead, check is their requirement not met or cannot be met by SAP.
Their requirements are:
u2013     Programmes and projects can be scrutinised and monitored to ensure ongoing alignment with strategic objectives and business imperatives
u2013     The broad allocation of skilled programme & project resources can be optimised
u2013     New requirements can be evaluated against current commitments
u2013     Programme and project demands on operational business can be managed and co-ordinated at a corporate level
Besides optimisation and evidence-based decision making around the portfolio, the tool will enable automated collation and aggregation of data around the portfolio.
The tool will also enable the continued evolution of a consistent methodology in delivering Projects

What is SAP-ICM - Incentive and Commission Management ?

Can u explain me about SAP-ICM, its functionality and transaction codes and tables involved in it.
If possible with some sample programs related to it.

Incentive plans are maintained within ICM. You use this process to transfer sales transaction data to the ICM incentive plan for commission calculation.
You use this business scenario to create, manage and report on incentive and commission compensation plans within your organization. It utilizes the Incentive and Commission Management (ICM) engine residing in SAP R/3 Enterprise where plan administrators are able to efficiently craft and administer complex variable compensation plans. CRM ICM includes two standard means of transferring data to ICM for the purpose of driving your incentive processing:
· Transferring CRM documents to ICM through a configured document interface
· Transferring SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) data to ICM through a general BW transfer interface
When using the configured document interface, you use SAP CRM transaction data (including sales order, sales contract or resale order) to drive your direct or indirect variable compensation processes. This allows you the flexibility to trigger commission calculations at nearly any point in the sales cycle from booking of an order to receipt of invoice payment. The calculated compensation results are extracted into both SAP BW and CRM and paired up with their original transaction data. Sales staff can then track their current performance as well as model their potential compensation based on their sales pipelines through content accessed via the Sales Manager Portal and the Sales Representative Portal. Based on your implementation, you also have the ability to support partner sales representatives.
When using the general BW interface, you are able to drive your variable compensation processes from BW. This interface enables you to easily leverage all of the analytical capabilities of BW in order to prepare data (for example, activity data) that is to be used in ICM for award calculation.

Incentives and Commission Management ?! HELP !!

Hi guys,
Anyone outhere ever worked with/implemented Incentives and Commission Management (ICM) and is willing to share some precious knowledge on the subject ??
I am currently envolved in the research and study of this functionality and I would really appreciate some documentation, best practices or scenarios OTHER than what can be found in SAP Library, which actually...puzzles me more than it enlights me. If none of those are available, at least some answers to several specific questions I have.

If you don't activate the ICM module in SPRO, the ICM IMG path won't even show up. If you try to run transaction /CACSIMG, I believe the result is that this transaction is not recognized at all. You have to have this in order to use ICM at all.

1. ICM is not linked to SD module. It does use the SD pricing condition technique for the valuation and remuneration processes, but does not directly integrate.

3. Best configuration document I know of is help.sap.com. There is no direct guide that I am aware of.

Try downloading another app - any app - pick a free app and download it. See if that helps reset the iPad.
If that doesn't work, then reboot the iPad. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

I have a very similar network set as you describe.
N devices go to 5 GHZ N router a TC connected by ethernet and N+B/G devices go to the secondary "bridged" router an Extreme connected by ethernet. I also have one more Extreme set also in bridge mode and connected by ethernet. the first two routers are also set to create their own wireless network. You set all this configuration using Airport Utility. I have a HP usb Bonjour shared laserjet connected to the first Extreme. ATV by ethernet to the TC. Xbox360 connected to the first Extreme wirelessly. I've since departed both my Express routers, did not need anymore but I used to have them set in bridge mode and create their own wireless network. Just point each computer device depending upon their speed of wireless card to which ever network you created, keeping the N separate from the B/G.
