In general, I am silent reader and admirer of some of the people's knowledge in this forum.But I couldn't resist posting this message seing some immature posts like these.
I don't understand what you guys are talking about.You all want the training material mailed to you?Do you know the basic condition under which SAP provides the material to the people participating in the training?
Come on, give me a break.Asking for the material is one thing and using a public forum like this to make the request is another thing.
Grow up guys, I don't know why the moderator is kind enough to allow such requests in the first place.May be he is too busy and didn't get enough time to lock these kind of messages.
Please keep up the dignity and sanctity of these forums which is really helpful for some serious guys.I have been certified in XI 3.0.But I really didn't take any help from the training material,even though I have it.
A little bit of hands on exposure and a lot of reading the help documentation,the various bolgs from this forum from some brilliant people had helped me.
SAP training material is only a minute part of the whole thing.
Hope common sense and maturity prevails while posting to these forums.

Training Material for end-users

Hi SAP Gurus,
I need to prepare a Online Quick Reference (OLQR)/questionnaire/FAQ's (SAP R/3 4.7 -FICO and integration of FI-SD & FI-MM), for the end-users, which they will refer to after Go-Live.
I also need to prepare training material for end-users for (SAP R/3 4.7 -FICO and integration of FI-SD & FI-MM),to be used during the training session's prior to Go-Live.

I am a SD Consultant.
I want to learn SAP CRM (Functional) on my own without going to any training institute or some thing.
Therefore, can anyone help me in forwarding the link(s) or document(s) with which I can learn about SAP CRM (Functional).

Since You are already a SD Consultant, We assume you are very much familliar with SAP and for you CRM will also be not a big Deal.
Customer Relationships Management (CRM) is a model for managing any Organization's interaction with current and future customers. It involves technology to organize, automate and synchronize SALES, SERVICES(postsales) AND MARKETING(presales).
First of all you need to get SAP CRM installed in your system and then you need to get command over Account and Contact Management (Business Partner). The same can be learned using WebUI or GUI. From GUI the transaction launcher is WUI then web page opens up enter your credentials and select Role - Salespro. Open the Account and Contact section and do some R&D and you can learn. But in GUI you need to go to SPRO -> IMG -> Cross Application Components -> SAP Business Partner -> Business Partner -> Basic Settings -> Number Ranges & Groupings -> Define Number Ranges. Here you have defined number range then you need to assign to some group created from SPRO same way. And Finally maintain Business Partner using Tcode - BP.
Then You Learn Organizational Management which allows us to map our marketing, sales, service structure maintaining company's structure including the position and Employees in an Application and assign specific attributes to the otganizational units.
Path: SPRO -> IMG -> CRM -> Master Data -> Organizational Management -> Organizational Model -> Create Org Model/Change org model.
Just Go ahead and with some more R&D in the system and taking of F1 Help of SAP Documentation I think you can easily learn SAP CRM.

Yes its not easy to get the Certification training as such (with out taking training).
But there is always a work around.
We can access the material that is required to clear certification on MI easily from SDN,MDK some of the posts etc.

TMOB20------IS FOR MOBILE ADMINISTRATORS(deployment of mobile applications through webconsole etc)
TMOB40 is important as it is more about development of mobile applications (from client side,middleware/server side and backend side).

In depth training material for Aperture 3.0?

hi, The videos on the Apple site are a good introduction to the capabilities of Aperture. However, I'd like to know if there is any free indepth user-guide/ training material available on how to use Aperture - esp levels, curves, workflow etc? Any guidance on this would be useful. Thanks Frank, dmcrescent and Kirby. I am infact reviewing the links you shared and then probably decide which to go ahead with. Meanwhile, I also go access to Aperture tutorial by Apple (http://documentation.apple.com/en/aperture/usermanual/#chapter=3%26section=1) which is fairly detailed and comprehensive. I have just covered 15-20% which talks about the screen layouts, items, menus etc, and there are a few new & interesting things to learn.
Kirby, I went through your older post regarding the workflow. And I notice there are several other posts on this subject. I am personally still struggly (or rather learning) with an optimal library structure and workflow process as my image collection keeps expanding.
I prefer to follow the 'referenced' approach to managing the RAW files and hence have my own folder structure outside of Aperture. And my structure within Aperture (usage of folders, projects, albums) is still evolving. For e.g. in the past 6 months of using Aperture, I used only 'projects' to structure my library, and created a mirror image of these in my referenced folder structure on the hard disk (or rather the other way round). Now I know that folders are also available to structure images. And as my image bank grows, my structure will evolve. Your write-up definitely helps. I do have a few questions on this, which I will pose in a new post.

Some thoughts on the dearth of training materials for the new MCSE certifications

Mostly this is venting... while it would be nice to see some remediation, I have no such expectations.
Given that Windows Server 2012 was GA 15 months ago, I'm severely disappointed at the lack of published training guides targeted to the MCSA and MCSE certifications (most notably the 70-413 and 70-414), and specifically with respect to the objectives involving
System Center that are included in those examinations.
I used the Exam Ref by Steve Suehring, and frankly was quite disappointed, although I'm not sure whether to blame the book, or the question pool on the exam. What I did observe was that a significant percentage of the concepts discussed in the Exam Ref book,
and ostensibly in the objectives for the exam, were not actually touched at all by the exam. More significantly, I encountered concepts on the exam that were not even mentioned in the Exam Ref. Presumably the Training Guide (700 pages) will go into much more
detail (e.g. the exam I encountered seemed very heavy with respect to Active Directory Site design), but it won't be available until April (at the earliest).
Further, there's nothing available in the realm of preparation materials for the 70-414. The Exam Ref was supposed to be available in September 2013. (The O'Reilly site says March 2014, but the MS Exam Page is not yet updated.) Who knows when it
will really be available, and I don't even see a mention of an actual Training Guide for this exam.
Adding insult to injury, I bought into the special last spring to take the -417, -413, and -414 (which expires tomorrow), and have been unsuccessful at passing the -413 (due to the poor prep materials) and didn't even consider the -414 (due to the non-existent
prep materials). Frankly, I feel very ripped off -- (And if the actual questions on the -413 compared to the Exam Ref are any guide, I'm not particularly encouraged by the eventual availability of the -414 Exam Ref.)
I do see where there's still a discount package available (including 2nd shots) for the MCSE: Server Infrastructure ($255 for both exams plus 2nd shots), available until May 31, 2014-- and expire on December 31, 2014. I think I'll wait until May and see
if [a] the -413 Training Guide gets published and [b] what the "master plan" will be for training for the -414.
Btw.. it seems the prospects are no better for the MCSE: Private Cloud exams either.

For post-production and audio work, having a quieter computer is one of the reasons I ordered a Mac Pro - quieter is good. And as my MDD dual 867Mhz is now as long in the tooth as I am, it couldn't come at a better time. I was really contemplating buying a quad G5 the past 6 months, but then heard the professional desktop would come out during the developer's conference, and I'm glad I waited. The price is absolutely - and insanely - great. Mine should be here on the 15th, and I'll be counting the hours. As for the risers, I'm willing to endure a few nanoseconds as a trade-off.

For practical purposes the answer is yes.
- either ou would have had to have taken the associated training course ...
- or you would have had to be an 11g DBA OCP (and training is required for that unless you certified a long while ago as a 7(8?) DBA OCP before the requirement and have upgraded become 11g DBA OCP by upgrades)

Study material for Oracle 10g OCA certification

My Name is Ash living in Edmonton Canada.
Currently, I am trying to prepare to take the OCA exam. My study material is "OCA 10g Administration 1 Study Guide by Chip DaWes, Bob Bryta, Joseph C.Johnson, Mathew Welshan". I am also enrolled in an OCA course in the beginning of June 08, and I have used that, the Oracle Database 10g : Administration Workshop 1, and purchased the pass4sure CD.
I recommend against the pass4sure, only because the PDF's had some sort of security lock, and I was unable to open them, even though I legitimately purchased the product.
