Sap Script: dynamic hide fields.
Hi,
I have a question about how to hide some no value fields.Need your help
Now,in form ,I write:
Description1:&text1&
&text2&
&text3&
Result: ok.
if all three fields have value,no problem,but if &text2&,&text3& are empty,the layout is:
Description1: aaaaaaaaaa
(blank)
(blank)
Result: ok.
I want to hide two blank lines,show like this:
Description1: aaaaaaaaaa
Result: ok.
How do I implement it?
Hi,
Try this :It will ensure no blank lines are printed irrespective of their position.
IF &text1& <> ' '
Description1:&text1&
ELSEIF &text2& <> ' '
&text2&
ELSEIF &text3& <> ' '
&text3&
endif
Result: ok.
Hope this helps!

PO Print SAP scripts:Grand total field -- High priority
Hi experts
In a PO print out, For example in one line item ,I have conditions printed as below
Line iem 1.
Gross price -- 1000
VAT% 40
Service Tax -
123.36
Net. Incl. Disc. 1163.36
Line iem 2.
Gross price -- 500
VAT% 20
Service Tax -
61.8
Net. Incl. Disc. 581.8
Grand total----
1500
(desired tgrand total 1163.36+581.8)
I have many line items like this and the total of all conditions at individual line item printed is correct.
But at the bottom of the PO print, in the "Grand Total" the sum of only the Gross values is printed (Not the total of the Net. Incl. vlaues of line items).
I got info from our developer that we are using SAP scripts (not smart forms).
Please guide me if anyone has come accros a issue like this and got the answer. This is urgent.
Thank you
MRaoTo calculate grand totals and sub totals in sap scripts you have to use subroutines.
Say if you have to add the unit price (KOMVD-KBERT) then in the main window where ever that value is picked write this routine
/: DEFINE &TOT_PRICE&
/: PERFORM F_GET_PRICE IN PROGRAM <subroutine prog name>
/:USING &KOMVD-KBERT&
/:CHANGING &TOT_PRICE&
/:ENDPERFORM
Then write the variable where ever you want it to be printed (mostly grant total will be in footer window)
Then create subroutine pool program and you have to write the following code.
FORM F_GET_PRICE tables int_cond structure itcsy
outt_cond structure itcsy.
data : value type kbert.
statics value1 type kbert.
Read int_cond table index 1.
value = int_cond-value.
value1 = value1 + value.
Read outt_cond table index 1.
outt_cond-value = value1.
Modify outt_cond index 1.
ENDFORM.
I have given a rough example,
Note:Int_cond-value and outt_cond-value are characters.
Close the thread once your question is answered.

what are the steps to add image on sap script dynamically?
Hi,
Adding images to SAPScript can be done in two ways:
1)You can handle it in the print program, by doing an if statement and filling a variable which the SAPscript will read.
*In your print program,
If company_code = '0010'.
imagename = 'ThisCompany'.
endif.
*In your sapscript,
BITMAP &IMAGENAME& OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BMON DPI 100
2) You can have the if statements in the SAPscript itself.
*In your sapscript,
IF COMPANY_CODE = '0010'
BITMAP THISCOMPANY OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BMON DPI 100
ELSEIF
BITMAP THATCOMPANY OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BMON DPI 100
ENDIF
award points if useful

Hi all,
I am trying to add content of field (Tax VAT) in sap script and put into another symbol using following command
/:SUMMING program symbol INTO sum symbol
but after running me22n tcode to display the PO error occured
<b>Overwriting a protected field</b>Error analysis
The program tried to assign a new value to the field "<SM_SUM>" even though
it is protected against changes.
I am modifying medruck std PO script and using standard prog. for it i.e. SAPFM06P.
Please tell me wheather it is necessary to make sum symbol dynamically define in SAPFM06P and how to do this.
with regards
Rajvinder SahniHi...
If you need to summ numbers or do any operation, in your SAP Script you can call subritunes and do all the operations you need.
On your SAP script write:
/: PERFORM subrutine IN PROGRAM Zprogram
/: USING &PAR1&
/: CHANGING &PAR2&
/: ENDPERFORM
PS: You can use as many USING AND CHANGING as you need.
And the zprogram goes;
FORM subrutine TABLES t_in STRUCTURE itcsy
t_out STRUCTURE itcsy.
data: par1 type n.
Read the value on PAR1
READ TABLE t_in WITH KEY 'PAR1'.
CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
PAR1 = t_IN-value.
DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO
ADD 1 TO PAR1.
SEND THE VALUES BACK
READ TABLE t_OUT WITH KEY 'PAR2'.
t_sal-value = PAR1 .
MODIFY t_OUT INDEX sy-tabix.
ENDFORM.
Hope this helps,

Adding Fields to New Hire SAP Script, Text ID PAMA
Hi there,
I have successfully created a sapscript email to be sent via Dynamic Actions for the notification of New Hires and Terminations. This has been accomplished via feature M0001 (we have created two new features u2013 M00NH & M00TM), dynamic action (T588z), Business Workplace, distribution lists, etc. All are working correctly, and an email is being generated and forwarded to appropriate parties.
Now we have been asked to add extra fields to the SAP Script text for New Hire and Termination. These are text fields for Employee Group, Employee Subgroup, among others.
Our syntax has been set up as follows:
&'Employee Group: 'P0001-PERSG(02)&
&'Employee Group Text: 'T501T-PTEXT(20)&
&'Employee Subgroup: 'P0001-PERSG(02)&
&'Employee Subgroup Text: 'T503T-PTEXT(20)&
For the New Hire action, we are getting the Employee group and Employee subgroup codes to display but we are NOT getting the Employee Group or Employee Subgroup texts to display. To confuse the issue, we ARE getting these text fields to display for the Termination script. Our ABAP'er is also having difficulty determining how to bring in these fields to the New Hire script.
We have researched this website have tried the instructions given by one user..... which states that we needed to go to our SAPscript text and make the following changes:
" To get other HR data into your standard text (from SO10):
Insert > Symbols > Program symbols (now you'll see a list of print programs, and i guess this is where the ABAP grabs the data).
Highlight the one for HR Master data, and click the DDIC button.
Double click the table you need data from (e.g P0000, P0001 or P0002).
Finally select the field you want."
I have done this, but when I get to the Program symbols, I do not see a print program for HR Master Data. I only see RPUCOB02 - Processing of Qualifying COBRA Events and Letters & SAPMSSCE - SAPscript Standard Text Maintenance.
I tried to use the RPUCOB02 and inserted the text for Employee Subgroup as a test. But it did not work as the text still did not display.
The other oddity is that for the Termination sapscript text, the Employee Group and Employee Subgroup text displays correctly. To test our syntax, we then connect the Termination sapscript text to the 'New Hire' action and reran the New Hire action. The Employee Group and Employee Subgroup text fields then disappeared. So it worked when the action was a termination, but did not work when the action was New Hire.
The difference between these two actions is that the feature for the sapscript generation for New Hires is being generated upon saving of I0002 (which is created AFTER I0001) - we needed the Employee's name in the text. For the Termination action, the feature is set to generate the mail upon saving of I0001. This is the only difference between the two. But as I need the employee name to display, it seemed the best approach. I did try to generate the New Hire sapscript after saving of I0008, but had the same problem.
Does anyone know how we can add text fields to our New Hire sapscript text and actually get them to display? We would also like to display the Org Unit text (&'ORGEH_2nd_TEXT(40)&) or even the Supervisor (from the OM relationship). But they do not display for the New Hire sapscript either. And our ABAP'er is able to insert the Supervisor logic, but the field still does not display.
Thanks very much for any help.

MultiLookup items selected, show or hide fields dynamically
Hi,
In the New or Edit Form, I would like to show or hide fields based on the multiselect value selected.
Is there a way to add javascript to achieve this and to get the selected values to show or hide the fields dynamically?
Thanks for your help.Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to show or hide fields based on the multiselect value selected.
You can add the code below to the new form.
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
function Test(){
var object= $("select[title='Lookup selected values']");
var object1=$("input[title='Test']");
var text= object.find("option").text();
alert(text);
if(text.indexOf("A")>-1)
object1.hide();
</script>
<button onclick="javascript:Test();" type="button">Test</button>
Note: You need to change the title of the select and input tags.
The result are as below:

How to clear fields used in SAP SCRIPT
hi all,
i want to clear all fields which i have printed on my sap script.
i have passed the values to these fields by useing function module
'TEXT_SYMBOL_SETVALUE' in se38 abap program.
i have also used clear statement in my abap program to clear those fields but it cant working. is there any statement in SAPSCRIPT to clear fields.
if so then please give me its an urgent.
thanks in advance.
Vinod.hey,
I understand that in a text-symbol when u set the values once, then u print them. for the second time when u want to print with diff values, then it will automatically get refreshed when u open it again.
So use code like this.
PERFORM OPEN_FORM USING FORMNAME.
PERFORM WRITE_FORM USING TEXT_SYM.
PERFORM CLOSE_FORM
for the next run...
at this instant all the text elements will get refreshed.
PERFORM OPEN_FORM USING FORMNAME.
PERFORM WRITE_FORM USING TEXT_SYM.
PERFORM CLOSE_FORM
Cheers,

Missing fields in the output while using SAP SCRIPT
Hi,
I am working on an issue where we are using F110 to print some checks, and for this we have created a custom sap script and we are using a std driver program RFFOUS_C, we have also maintianed a custom subroutine pool ZRFFOUS which will retrieve the missing data for the sap script which was not there in the std. program. Now we have applied a SP to our system and since then we are having a problem...when we are printing the chechks its missing some fields.
Surpisingly, it is happening for all scripts like Dunning, invoice......
These scripts are working good in production which is not applied patches.
I have tried in all ways, did debug, data is there in tables and scripts are exactly same as in production.
Could you please share any ideas regarding this? What would be the effect of patches?
Thanks
ShaHi ,
I think u r printing the Check through the Tr Code F110.
In that program u r using the Standard Driver Program RFFOUS_C and u create a New Sap script.
and also u also mantained the custom subroutine pool ZRFFOUS . when ru giving printing u are not able to print some field.
In this case when u using the Standard driver Program RFFOUS_C in that program there is a Include Progran * RFFORI01---- check ,
in this program it is calling the Standard Form (F110PRENUM_CHCK) i--e t042e-zforn .as shown in the below and it is calling the function module 'OPEN_FORM'._
Please copy the form asZF110_PRENUM_CHCK and and do the changes in that form . and we need to maintained the Form as Company code level -- and it will shown this Table T042E (Company Code-Specific Specifications for Payment Methods)
Please go to Transaction Code FBZP and U can maitained the New Sap Script Form Company Code Level.
one thing while u calling your new subroutine pool ZRFFOUS Please call this subroutine in your Sap Script form then only u can see all values in your Check. and Actvate the Sap script .
Like U can call your new subroutine ZRFFOUS in your New Sap script Program.
/E CHECK
/: PERFORM XXXXXXX IN PROGRAM XXXXXX''
/: PERFORM CHECK_NAME IN PROGRAM ZRFFOUS
/: USING &XXXXXXX&
/: CHANGING &XXXXXX&
/: ENDPERFORM
In the subroutine pool ZRFFOUS u have to call as
FORM CHECK_NAME TABLES t_data_in STRUCTURE itcsy
t_data_out STRUCTURE itcsy.
xxxxx
xxxxx
xxxxx
ENDFORM.
In this case when u using the Standard driver Program RFFOUS_C in that program there is a Include Progran * RFFORI01---- check ,
in this program it is calling the Standard Form (F110_PRENUM_CHCK) i--e t042e-zforn .
open check form
CALL FUNCTION 'OPEN_FORM'
EXPORTING
form = t042e-zforn
device = 'PRINTER'
language = t001-spras
options = itcpo
dialog = space
EXCEPTIONS
form = 1.
IF sy-subrc EQ 1. "abend:
IF sy-batch EQ space. "form is not active
MESSAGE a069 WITH t042e-zforn.
ELSE.
MESSAGE s069 WITH t042e-zforn.
MESSAGE s094.
STOP.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
I thing it will help u to solve this issue.
Thanks.

How do I Hide the text printed from a standard Text Element in SAP Script?
Hi,
I have created one SAP Script which gets printed from IW33 using a standard print program.
In config the standrad SAP script is replaced by the zsap script.
Since the Zscript is printed from a Standard print program, I had to keep all the text elements used by the original(standard) SAP script.
I only kept the text elemets and commented out the printing part.
But still some values are printing. How do I hide these text element values?
I want to delete whatever its printing from these text element. Icant delete the standard text elemetns , otherwise the standard print program will give error.Hi,
I am not printing any text under these text element in my zscript.
I had to include these standard text elemets as they are called from the standard print program using which my zscript is getting printed.
for example:
/E OPERATION
Under operation i didnot print anything. Still some values which are passed in text element Operation by the print program is being printed in the form. i want to hide/delete these values.
how do I do that? -

Most of the times this text won't get populated
So better write an external PERFORM subroutine in the SCRIPT and fetch it from BSEG/BKPF tables using BELNR field and use in the cheque printing.
see the sample code for subroutines

Hi,
you could to this while designing your report in CrystalReports. Pass the user's choice as parameters to your report on runtime. This parameter is evaluated and changes visibility and position of columns conditionally. Actually haven't done this with visibilty and position but with strings to display conditionally.
