I want to send the output as a mail to the concerned person.
In menu there is a send mail options but it is disabled.
How to send this SAP script output in a mail (either PDF or the same as output format.

  g_objpack-transf_bin = 'X'.
  g_objpack-head_start = 1.
g_objpack-head_num = 0.
g_objpack-body_start = 1.
  g_objpack-doc_size = ( g_lines_bin - 1 ) * 255 + STRLEN( g_objbin ).
g_objpack-body_num = g_lines_bin.
g_objpack-doc_type ='PDF'.
g_objpack-obj_name = text-009.
APPEND g_objpack.
step 3:
use teh following code to attach the content in mail and send it to a recevier
g_reclist-rec_type = 'F'.

  • Scipping in SAP script printout

    hai ,
i have a layout with the size 15 X 7 cm , when next page printing , the printer scipping 10 cm , but i want to be scip only 8 cm. HOW?

    Hi
You define that window size where the data has to start such that it is positioned after 8 lines on the next page.
I think you can't use SKIP 8 command in scripts. So window allignment  is the only option. In the layout adjust it accordingly.

How to calculate the number of line items which are displaying in the main window, if the number of line items are exceed in the main window then the amount has to be calculate and print as "BALANCE FORWARD" and the next page had to be displayed as "CARRY FORWARD" that amount. if this is the last page not subsequent page the amount had to be calculated the carry forward amount and total amount and print as "TOTAL AMOUNT". i am creating the new layout and the program is the standrad driver program i have to use and i have to use the standard Text elements only, can any one help me on this issue

    hi
    good
there is no "pattern" option in SAPscript. All you have at your disposal are the following SAPscript commands: BOX, POSITION and SIZE. Not only are these commands both confusing and tedious to implement, they also are limited in what they can achieve. For instance, although you can suppress a box during printout (by making it conditional), there is no simple way to adjust it dynamically instead. Thus, to divide sequential line items, you may wish to use an underline (ULINE) or simply white space.

  • Payment Advice Sap Script 'F110_IN_AVIS' T-code F110

    Hi,
I am using the standard SAP Script form 'F110_IN_AVIS' for generating Payment Advice through transaction code F110. F110 generates a spool request for the Payment Advice.
Now since a SAP Script output is coming in spool request. It means the whole process is running in background and I am not able to debug the SAP Script 'F110_IN_AVIS'.
Please tell me is their any way by which I can generate a direct printout without a Spool Request so that I can debug the SAP Script.

if you want the print out,
you have to modify the OPTIONS...values...maybe as of now the program is not issuing the printout they passing the parametes only for spool.
wht u can do is set the "Print parameters, print immediately" to X..

  • SAP script and External docs - print in PDF

    Hello,
We are printing maintanence orders (SAP script) through IW32 and recently we have added custom logic to print the external docs(word or excel) attached to the maintanence orders. So if we print a maintanence order with two attachments, we would get Order, Attach_1 and Attach_2 printouts. This functionality is working fine but when we print several orders at the same time all prints are getting mixed up. I was wondering if somthing like this would be possible.... Let's say we have a order of one page with two attachments, Attach_1 & Attach_2, of one page each and we create one single PDF document with these three pages in the print program and print this PDF at the end of the print program so that all the prints associated with one order come out as a single doc.
Any ideas / sample code is appreciated. Thanks.

  • Cheque/Payment Voucher SAP script

    Hi experts,
I'm developing a cheque on a preprinted stationary and the payment voucher/advice.I know for cheque, the standard SAP Script is F110_PRENUM_CHCK and it's print program is FFOUS_C.I need the cheque and the payment advice on two pages only. The former on page1 and the latter page2.Willl the above SAP standard  objects work for the two,or the payment advice has different standard form and print program.Currently I get 4 pages for every printout, and I need only two pages.Kindly help on the wayforward.
    Regards
    Jack

I'm developing a cheque on a preprinted stationary
Cheque printing is always a preprinted stationary case of Form printing.
In FBZP you can check the Configuration for both Cheque printing and Payment Advice.
As you already mentioned F110_PRENUM_CHCK is the standard Script available for Cheque printing and similarly for Payment Advice the standard script is F110_IN_AVIS , while the driver program is same for both i.e RFFOUS_C .
Go through FBZP it will give you some idea.
For your requirement you combine both the forms for Cheque printing and Payment advice in a single script and attach the same with Cheque printing Output Procedure ( Settings in FBZP ).

  • Problem in Sap script for Check printing

    Hi all,
I have problem in Check printing for FI Module. In Tcode f-58 i am taking the printout of checks. For my user they want to move the main window in upwards, but the sap script <b>F110_PRENUM_CHCK</b> not allowing to move upwards. how to do this, its urgent. plz
    point wil be sure.
    Gowri

    Hi
Copy the script F110_prenum_chek to some ZCHECK and do the changes.
Why you can't change the MAIN window towards up?
You can changes ths ize of it by adjusting the setting of it .
generally we use some pre printed stationary for this in which all the line item data with doc numbers is printed on top and the check will be in bottom
and in check we just print the few fields in the right positions.

  • 4 Prints in SAP Script

    HI,
I have a typical query in SAP Script.
I am printing invoice and I want to have 4 printout sets of each invoice.
    While printing, I am stating the number of messages = 4 (NAST-ANZAL = 4)
Here I am getting my invoice printed 4 times.
But the requirement is.. The original should print as it is.
The second should print as Duplicate as heading on invoice.
    similarly Triplicate and so on.
    Any idea?
    thanks in advance.
    pranu

    Hi pranu,
May I know the current info of the layout? I assume that it is only a static text in your form. If so, then make it dynamic. Store the text in a variable. While looping, check the counter ( SY-index can be used). Depending on the value, pass to the variable the necessary text.
    DO NAST-ANZAL times.
    case sy-index.
    when 1.
       v_text = 'Original'
    when 2.
      v_text = 'Duplicate'
    when 3.
      v_text = 'XXX'
    when 4.
      v_text = 'XXX'
    when others.
    ENDDO.
In the window where the text is displayed, if hardcoded, remove it and replace by &V_TEXT&.

  • Problem in sap script check printing with EPSON FX890 printer

    Hi
I am trying to print a check through F-58 using a script.
We have a new EPSON FX890 dot matrix printer, But when I fire a check the the formatting of the check is not proper. The alignment is never the same as given in the SAP script. this could a problem with the printer set up and configuration in SAP. Could anybody please give me some inputs on what needs to be done. its Urgent. Can anybody give me what needs to be done and also guide me with Print control commands in SAP scripts
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Here is some steps you should follow for scripts printout.
    1. Validate the drivers used in SAP (Tcode SPAD)
    2. Are you printing through a print server or directly to the printer
    3. If it is througha print server like windows, you should validate to have the right driver installed for that printer.
    4. Validate on the printer the default setting. If the script doesn't sent the proper font or setup, it will print using the last setup sent to the printer.
So if somebody used work and print a specific document with different setting, some time the setting stays for the SAP report.
To validate the setup of the printer, just turn off and on the printer before sending the SAP form. That should help to see if the setup has been changed by another program.
I hope those simple steps will help to solve your problem.
    Reward if helpfull...
    Cheers,
    Rakesh.

  • SAP SCRIPT ALIGNMENT

    All,
I am developing a form with SAP Script. In the header window  (it is a single window using the almost entire width of page format DINA4)i am using three character formats for printing heder lines ofr ex: helve 8, helve 10 Bold and Helve 14 bold. When i see the print preview the alignment is perfect. But when i print the page alignment of header window is distorted. Why is it so? There is some other form using different character formats developed in smart forms. Here print out is coming properly. is this the problem with SAP script. If so what is the work around for this?
    Rakesh

    Hi
Certain FONTS were not supported by certain printers, hence you may be getting such problem
    see the following OSS notes
    OSSNote:960341
    Symptom
In some device types (e.g HPLJ4, HPLJ5) you experience non-uniform character spacing in the PDF document after the PDF conversion of SAPscript or Smart Forms documents, using HELVE or TIMES fonts. You want to know the reason.
    Other terms
    CONVERT_OTF, SAPscript, Smart Forms
    Reason and Prerequisites
The problem is not due to an error in the PDF converter but due to the fact, that the printer font, underlying the device type (e.g. Univers or CG Times in PCL-5 device types), is not available for the PDF converter and is either not available in Adobe Reader. The PDF converter has to try to simulate the layout of the printer font by means of a font which is predefined in Adobe Reader. This is done by assigning the letter widths of the printer font to the font used in Adobe Reader.
The PDF file contains a table with letter widths, used by Adobe Reader in the output of text, for each used printer font (except PostScript fonts).
    Example:
    %Charwidth values from HP4300 HELVE 060 normal
    /Widths
    [ 278 333 500 633 633 1000 758 333 333 333 633...
Adobe reader converts this width table, by modifying the space between each character, so that the specified letter width (= space between the current and the next letter) is kept.
This 'Simulation' of printer fonts results in the sometimes visible irregular spaces in PDF.
The PDF converter always uses the Helvetica Adobe PostScript font for the display of HELVE and the Times Roman Adobe PostScript font for the display of TIMES. However, for these Adobe PostScript fonts, Adobe Reader often uses a Windows TrueType font, which differs slightly from the original PostScript font.
    Solution
Workaround: Use the POST2 PostScript device type or the PDF1 PDF device type for the PDF conversion of documents in the Latin-1 character set. They both use the Adobe PostScript fonts Helvetica or Times Roman for the HELVE/TIMES printer fonts.

    Symptom
Documents printed via SAPscript or SmartForms do not print with correct special characters, e.g. ### prints instead of Japanese or Russian characters. What to do?
    Other terms
SAPscript, SmartForms, printing, device types, OTF
    Reason and Prerequisites
Help required to choose proper fonts in a SAPscript or SmartForm
    Solution
When using SAPscript or SmartForms to print (or email or fax) a form from a business application, many factors influence the outcome of the actual text within the form. All these factors must be checked in order to ensure a correct printout:
    1) The language version of the form used to produce the printout.
Example: If you want to print a French invoice, you need to have a FR version of your SAPscript or SmartForms invoice form RVINVOICE01. And the application program must specify the corresponding language key (FR) when calling the SAPscript or SmartForms API.
    2) The font selections specified in the form (possibly also in a SAPscript style or SmartStyle used in a form).
Example: In a SAPscript form or a SmartStyle you need to specify HELVE if you want to print German text in Helvetica (or similar) font. If you want to print Japanese text, HELVE is not a valid choice but you need to specify a Japanese font like JPMINCHO in your Japanese form.
    3) The output character set of the device type
Every printer in transaction SPAD has a "device type" assigned. Device types used by the spooler for printing support only one single specific output character set. All text from the form has to be converted (using SAP's built-in character conversion mechanism) to this output character set.
A character set can typically support either a single language (e.g. Shift-JIS which supports only Japanese) or a set of languages (e.g. ISO 8859-1, which supports Western-European languages). It is possible that a given language (such as German) can be supported by several output character sets, e.g. you may use either ISO 8895-1 (Latin-1) or ISO 8859-2 (Latin-2) to represent German text. This is so because both character sets contain the special characters used in German.
Example: HPLJ4000 is a HP LaserJet device type supporting the ISO 8859-1 (Latin-1) character set. ISO 8859-1 can be used to represent e.g. Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish but NOT Russian or Japanese.
As a consequence, it is ok to use HPLJ4000 to print English, German French etc. but not for Japanese or Russian.
    4) The set of available printer fonts for a given device type
When formatting a document, SAPscript and SmartForms perform an automatic mapping of the font definitions in the form (e.g. "HELVE 14 point bold") and the available printer fonts of the device type. A replacement printer font is chosen, should the specified font selection not be available in the device type. Now this replacement can be problematic if a language-specific font, such as Chinese CNSONG, is specified in a form and it gets replaced by a font which does not support this language, e.g. COURIER.
To solve this problem, font families in SE73 have language attribute assigned, e.g. some fonts are characterized as being suitable only for certain languages. And when a replacement has to be chosen because the original font from the form is not available in the device type, a replacement font is chosen which has the same language attributes.
If no fonts for the language in question exist in the device type, the resulting font will not be able to print the special characters and you will see "wrong" output characters in the printout.
    Note on SAPscript/SmartForms Print Preview:
The OTF Print Preview available in Windows GUI (e.g. from transaction SP01) will sometimes not show the "wrong" characters which appear on the final printout. Here is the reason: since the Print Preview runs in Windows environment, it will use Windows fonts to represent the actual printer fonts. A Windows font typically has more available characters (i.e. covers more character sets) than are actually available in a printer's resident font.
A typical example where the Print Preview will differ from the printout is here: if you have a Chinese PCL5 printer such as CNHPLJ4 and use the Western Latin font COURIER in your document, the print preview will show you Chinese characters if you (by accident) tried to format Chinese characters in COURIER font. This is because Windows will automatically choose a font that can output Chinese characters (which is actually not Courier). But when you print the job on an actual PCL5 printer with resident Western and Chinese fonts, the Courier font will not print any Chinese characters but Western special characters instead, because the printer's resident Courier font does not include Chinese characters.
Rule of thumb: all Asian device types (e.g. CNHPLJ4, JPHPLJ4, JPPOST, KPHPLJ4) support not only Asian fonts but also COURIER, HELVE and TIMES fonts. But these Latin fonts can only be used to print English text, not Chinese/Japanese/Korean characters.
Which fonts are suitable for a given language?
Language(s):            Font family to use in a form:
    Latin-1 (Western Europe/Americas) *******
    DE,EN,FR,ES,NL,SV       COURIER, HELVE, TIMES

Verify your output by examining the OTF data
When analysing printing problems of this type, be sure to check the OTF data which gets produced by SAPscript or SmartForms. OTF or "Output Text Format" is the intermediate page-description format generated from SAPscript or SmartForms. OTF will contain the final printer font names and character set/language identifiers which help to solve the problem. OTF will even name the form and the language of the form used to create the output.
The easiest way to do this is to create a spool request from your application, run transaction SP01, use menu
    Goto->Display Requests->Settings
    and choose
    Display Mode: Raw
Now display your spool request. If this is a SAPscript or SmartForms spool request, you will see OTF data. Each line represents one OTF command, every command starts with a 2-character cmd identifier and possibly some cmd parameters follow.
Here is an excerpt from a sample OTF file where we highlight the most interesting commands:
    //XHPLJ8000    0700 00000000001
    IN04EALEXTEST_ZEBRA
    IN05%PAGE1

    CT00000000
ST0453037Dieses SF hat Stil ALEXTEST_ZEBRA mit
The 1st line with the // (Control) command reveals the device type usedto print: HPLJ8000
    //XHPLJ8000    0700 00000000001
The 2nd line (IN = Info command) shows the name and (internal 1-char)language key of the form:
    IN04EALEXTEST_ZEBRA
In this case it is the English (E = EN) SmartForm ALEXTEST_ZEBRA
The OP-line (OP = Open Page) gives the page format used in the form, it is DINA4 Portrait orientation:
    OPDINA4  P 144  240 1683811906000010000100001
The CP (CodePage) cmd shows the SAP system codepage used to code the text and the active language. In our case it is codepage 1100 and language E = EN = English.
    CP11000000E
Finally, the FC-cmd (Font Call) lists a printer font selected within SmartForms. Please note that every SmartForm has a designated default SmartStyle under "Form Attributes->Output Options". In addition, every text node can have a SmartStyle attached (which will override the definitions from the default style for the text). In our case the resulting printer font that was selected is HELVE 12.0 pt bold-off, italic-off.

  • More than one print program for one sap script

    Hi Experts,
I have more than one print program which is attached to one sap script. There is standard text used in the script which has variable as date, i want that date to be converted into the previous date but only for one specific print program. For rest of the print program it should behave as it is.
I have tried it using ( s_date - 1 ) formula and it is working fine. But the variable s_date is used in other parts of the program which is affecting rest of the functionality when i am using above said formula. I can't use other variable in standard text as it is used by other programs.
Please guide me to resolve this, thanks in advance.

Well, I'm not sure if I understand the scenario 100%, but I think what you have is a standard text (that you cannot change) referring to variable &S_DATE&. You want this to display the previous day's date when the form is used by one print program but not when it's called by another.
Also, you don't want to change S_DATE to S_DATE - 1 for the whole printout, because apart from the text display, S_DATE is used elsewhere and you want to keep the date as S_DATE, not the previous day.
I assume that you can change the coding of the form.
If all of the above is correct, then you could change the value for S_DATE in the form to the previous day just before it calls the standard text and change it back after the output of the text is done. So right befor the INCLUDE for the standard text, you could use an IF statement in the form logic, query the value of SY-REPID (or SY-CPROG). You'll have to test which one shows the print program name. Depending on that, you can do S_DATE = S_DATE - 1 and after the INCLUDE, do the same thing and change it back to S_DATE = S_DATE + 1.
But honestly, this is a pretty shady programming technique... I mean, hard coding references to the print program name in the form logic is certainly not a very clean method

    HI all,
I am working on a SAP Script...this custom SAP SCRIPT is being used for transaction F110...every time we are running this transaction we are missing some data in the checks that are printing and this problem is coming after we applied the Service PAck, now my question is how can I debug ths Sap Script because when activated the debugger in SAP Script and ran transaction F110 and when finally printed the checks it never went or stopped at the SAP Script...the checks are printing fine in the other box where we haven't applied the SP. So basically I want to compare in both the boxes.
    Thanks,
    Rajeev

  • Smart forms vs SAP scripts

    Hi,
can we use samrt forms instead of SAP scripts in production order forms.
If yes please tell me how.
I know OPK8 transactiona and over there we can use either SAP scripts or pdf forms.

    Hi,
Satandard SAP doesn't allow you to use Smartforms for Production Order Printouts. You can however use the Printprogram and get it to trigger a smartform instead of a SAP script. Work with your technical team for more details on that.
