SAP Scripts Layout download to Excel format

I have requirement of downloading the SAP Layout to excel format when we select the Output type option.Could you please give any solutions.

U can;t download Script output to Excel.
U can download Script output to PDF format and also u can send it via e mail.

First of all what are we trying to achieve?
I understand that changes where made to standard SAP SAPscript RVINVOICE01 and you where asked to make further changes.
In SAP configuration you need to see what is the driver program for your SAPscript and what is the SAPscript name (transaction VOK2->Output->Processing Programs->Billing Documents) or via table TNAPR.
This will allow you to see what is the driver program for your SAPscripr (this is the program that prepares data to be formatted by your SAPscript layour set).
Once data is derived by an ABAP program, a sapscript is called from driver ABAP to print this data.
You may need to make changes to driver ABAP (in case changes to data are required) or to SAPscript if changes to layout and window positioning are requested.
Try not to modify standard SAP programs (copy to Z versions)...

Urget::How to download in excel format in Background

hi,
i was using GUI_DOWNLOAD in a program to download into excel format. but now the user wants to run this in background mode .But gui_download doesn't support the background .can u suggest me any other way to download in background mode into excel format.

Hi Rasmi,
In background you can only download it to application server and not on your PC.
If its ok then you can use OPEN DATASET....CLOSE DATASET to do that.
Once its downloaded to Application server you can download that into your PC.

Background download in excel format

We have a requirement to download a dataset in excel format. The users have access to a folder on the server where the program will dump the files. Then the users should be able to open the files using excel. Any suggestions?

OBIEE-Values after decimal changing after download in excel format

Hi,
I have reports in OBIEE 11g,in which some columns have values in %.When i try the various export/download functions and noticed that the Excel download did not maintain the fomatting for pecentage values, they fields go out to about 12 decimal places or so.
For eg..if a value in report is like 12.54
After export in Excel it looks like 12.546780393345 .
As i want the same format,pls suggest the solution.

Spool - restrict multiple sap script layouts into a single spool

Hi Experts,
I am writing a Sap SCRIPT print program for multiple number of customers with different layouts. But i am getting seperate spools for different customers. There fore i need to print out all customers in a single spool.
Can some one help me how to do this?

OPEN_FORM and CLOSE_FORM function module are used to open and close spool. When you have single form to create document then we specify form_name in OPEN_FORM function module itself. However when we have multiple forms or same form needs to be called multiple times and all document needed in same spool then we use START_FORM and END_FORM to explicitly open and close form.
Call function module in this sequence
OPEN_FORM "without specifying any form name, this will open spool
START_FORM " with form name
END_FORM
START_FORM "with (some other) form name
END_FORM
CLOSE_FORM "close spool request

Once I export/download Query Output to Excel the fields are not in the order of Actul Query output
Char fields are treated as Key fields and displayed Left side.
As it is a SAP Query where to keep this kind of setting(key columns = 0).?

when u download data to excel sheet, u can't handle the data from SAP....The data in excel takes excel properties and accordingly data gets adjusted to the formats of excel.
If u need formatting u need to use OLE concepts in SAP from which u can set the formats of Excel Sheet.

Multipage PDF different layouts export to Excel format

Problem how to convert 24 page file with different layouts on each page to
clean Excel spreadsheet layout. Column layout returned is a mess and could
be resolved if individual PDF pages or selected parts of page could be

Unfortunately, Reader doesn't offer the ability to split a file, but you could download a free 30-day trial of Acrobat from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat and use that to split the file.

You dont have to do anything extra as such coz transport to excel is already given in the toolbar of the ALV Check report BALVSD04.
But still you wanna download it then download the final table by using any of the download functions ' GUI_DOWNLOAD' , ' CONVER_SAP_TO_XLS', etc.

Sap FICO tables download to excell sheet

I want to download the fico master tables to excell sheet.
somebody told me to SE16N and system-list-save-local file-(spread sheet)
while doing the same procedure i am struggling in localfile when i am clicking in same after that local file that time local file is showing properly, local file is there that is not allowing to pointout, therefore please explain me how to do and get the FICO master tables to excell sheet.

Transaction code SE16N enables to enter a specific table and get the contents or records in the table. Which table name you have entered for getting the Master Data tables?
