I want to do certification in SAP SD.
Can anyone giude me how can i proceed,
Where can i get the study material from?
How much time will be required for the preparation?
What are the formalities required??
As i am not able to find any proper reliable source from where i can get the inputs ,Inputs from this forum will be highly appreciated,

The window says, “Security info Required. To help insure the security of your Apple ID we require additional information” When I select okay, the Apple ID Password window opens and asks for my Apple password a second time.
It doesn't happen with every app and I’m concerned that these apps may be trying to collent my password. Is Apple really doing a double check on my password?

Repairing AME - dos command info required

Repair advice was to run (from the Command Prompt) the following. WMEncodingHelper.exe/regserver
It is found in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere CS3\
I can get to the directory line and see the .exe file but I do not remember how to run it !

Agreed! Much as I love Firefox, I hate it's lack of a splash screen. Every single program on the planet that has a GUI should have as it's very first action when started to show a small splash screen, just so the user knows the command to start has been accepted. This action should be set to High Priority, interrupting all other actions such as virus scans, other programs closing, downloads, file copies, etc. Once the Splash loads, the rest of the start-up process can return to Normal priority and load in it's proper OS managed sequence.
I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally ended up with three or four browser windows open because there's no indication that anything is happening.

'SAP OFFICE EXPRESS INFO' message not poped up to the partner.

Hi Friends,
I have a quarry on sending express mail while sending email through notification process. Following are the details:
Created notification for customer complaint (Z1,its made for my client) entered all details and saved the notification. Now i want to send this information to PP and SD person through express mail.
Now i go in change mode and go to same notification then when i click 'Send E-mail' from action box menu and selecting the partner, screen for sending mail through note appears (was not getting same initially but later got the config correctly). Here the message is written and then i am assigning the recipients for ex say SD, PP, QM (myself) and ticking the box meant for sending express mail.
When the mail is send it goes successfully, when i save that transaction for me (QM) the express mail is popped up that is fine but my problem is my PP & SD guys do not receive the express mail . When they go to their Inbox they can view the mail but only problem i want to address is " they should get SAP office express Info" on their screen so that they are alerted.
I checked by changing the screen or even by re- login for those users but express mail not popped. Please guide.

when i goto download an ap, it asks for my apple id and password. Then it pops a screen upsaying Security Info Required. to help ensure the security of your apple id, you must confirm your password and answer your security questions. What gives?

I just create new account for my new iphone4s.I don't have problem when I sign in with my Apple id password on my Laptop but my iphone is so complicated.
When I try to download an app on my Iphone 4s, something pops up saying "Security Info Required". Then below that it says "To help ensure the security of your Apple ID we require additional information". When I click Continue, It tells me to enter my Apple ID password. So I enter it. My Iphone then brings me to this screen that never loads and asks me to enter my Apple ID password again! So I enter my password again! The it asks me again and again and again! It never stops asking me to enter my Apple ID password. I know I'm not spelling it incorrectly because If I just type something random in, it will tell me I have entered my password wrong.
Please let me know what is wrong?

I updated some of my info via apple, mainly changing my password. I then went through the settings and signed out of store and resigned in with the new password.
Previosuly, everytime I tried to install an app the Request Secuity Info screen would pop up, I would fill it out and click done, and then it would reload and keep me at the same page. Finally, I would click cancel and try again and the whole thing repeated itself....
SO back to updating my password in the store, I installed an app, the security questions popped up AGAIN... but this time they saved my answers and proceeded to download my app. YAY

SAP office Express info-the UPDATE is terminated as received from the user"

Hi Sap Gurus,
I am facing a problem which I failed to find out why.
The case is in Network Activity I have attached components of Type "N" type i.e, non stock item.I tried to run MRP but with no effect.
Now the problem is whenever I am trying to attach further components of "N" type & save it ; s message is coming thru {{ SAP office Express info }} stating that {{Express document " the UPDATE is terminated as received from the user" X ".
Where from this message is getting generated & that to only for " n " type component.
How to eleminate this error.
2. Same problem is coming at the time of creation of user defined Characteristics.
This has become very urgent otherwise I could not proceed further.
Pl. Help.

Please use the T.code SM13 where there was an error and click on the Repeat update icon
Check the Error.
Also check T. Code: ST22.
Is the number range assigned to the Purchasing documents in OMH7, or are they exhausted. check if any workflow or user exit is active.

Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

I want to bring into your notic that 0numday and 0numwday are the attributes of 0calmonth so there might be a chance that these attributes are noit maintained in 0calmonth.
If possible make a new calmonth using refernce as 0calmonth and in that new calmonth maintain attributes 0numday and 0numwday.
You have to select the check box with master data in infoobject to add attributes.
Once done with all the steps then use this new calmonth in you bex query designer and that attribute value will be avaialable.

Hi Sandya,
If you want to create it manually you can do so by using the SAP transaction code ME11. At the initials screen the following are the input values:
Vendor Number
Material Number
Purchasing Organization
Plant
Info Category
After key in these values at the initial screen you can maintain rest of the information related to material and vendor in the subsequent screen. These information can be group as follows:
Purchasing Organization Data
Conditions
Texts
As per the business requirement you can make some of the fields (information) as mandatory by customizing. You can also restrict the end user from modifying these information once saved in the system.
In the standard SAP purchasing info record is maintained as a source of information for Purchasing.
It contains some of the information from material master and some of the information related to its supplier/vendor.
Hence Material and Vendor Master is pre-requisite for a purchasing info record. You can also maintain the
purchasing information record without material master record if your material is for direct consumption.
Here you can use material group instead of material master. You can have more than one purchasing information
record for a single material if it is being supplied by more suppliers, one for each supplier. Information maintained
in purchasing information records is used as default data in documents such as purchase orders.
In standard SAP Info record stands for information record which contains concise information about a vendor and a material that Purchasing already procures from that vendor. An info record thus represents a material-vendor relationship. Following are some of the information maintained in Info record:
Units of measure in which materials are ordered from the vendor
The applicable reminder levels
Prices and Conditions with validity period (Present and Future)
Applicable Tax Code
Planned Delivery Time
Standard & Maximum Quantity
Tolerance limits for over-deliveries and under-deliveries
Number of Last Purchase Order or Quotation
Text
Vendor evaluation data
An indicator for showing vendor as regular vendor for the material
The vendor sub-range to which the material belongs
The availability period during which the vendor can supply the material

Business units info requirements

Dear FI Experts,
I am a novice. I hope you could share some information regarding information requirements of the different business units in terms of finance reports.
For example, for Marketing, what sort of finance information would ,say line managers, require operationally?
Likewise for Sales unit and manufacturing or production unit.
Would appreciate if you could let me know the broad picture.

For catering the different needs of the business units like marketing, sales units area wise geographical wise, SAP has come with COPA (Profitability Analysis), in this module u can see the required info based on your marketing segment and geographical segment or product wise.
Coming to specific report as you are saying for marketing, a line manager can generally look how much cost has been incurred in their area and how much sale has been happened and compare the Profit margin.
coming to requirement it might changing as per business therefore there wont be any specific report kind of a stuff.
Thats why using COPA u can customize your requirement as you can?

Qualifications info required

Hello All,
I am basically BI Consultant, we have a requirement to pull Qualifications Data from SAP ECC,
Clients requirement is "A relationship is created between a Qualification and either a Job or a Position. Any employee who holds either the job or the position is required to complete this qualification".
How to get the Employees who are mandatory to complete a Qualification and who have not completed the Mandatory Qualification?
I have checked in PEPM(Profile Matchup), where we can find Person->Position and Person->Job along with Deficits.
I wanted to know where does the above data sits in ECC tables physically? because it gives me to configure for BI.
Is there any direct table to pull this info?

Hi Kiran,
In HRP1001 you can get the Qualification - Person relationship (Q-P = B032); the Qualification Value that the Person currently has, is in the HRPAD31 table, so you have to make a join with the ADATANR field. Lets say that a Person has a Q-value of "3" (over a 5 points scale), so we have to compare the Qualification Value assigned to his/her Position or Function to know if he/she has a Qualification Deficit. Again, look in HRP1001 (B031) to get the relationship between the same Q and the Employee's Position or Function.
Regarding the other query, maybe you can find useful transaction: S_AHR_61015532. You specify an Organizational Unit, and you can have all Employees within this Unit with their Qualifications. Make sure to check "Only Q deficits" in the initial screen.
