SAP SD certification ECC 6.0 marking scheme

Hi,
I am planning to sit for the SAP SD certification ECC 6.0.
Could you please advise whether part marks will be given for questions,
ex: If in a question we are asked to mark all the answers which are correct, of which there are 3 correct answers. we have marked 2 of those as correct, are we given any marks?
Also is the passing mark 70%?

I think the current pattern of the exam has changed. I passed all my certification under old valution method.
Now no partial credit will be given. SAP will tell you in advance how many correct answers are there.
Means, you need to identify the right answers. The pass percentage is 55%

hi,
first of all, the sap materials are not available on the internet. also if available; the sdn members are prohibited from disclosing any such sites or links to the same.
1. regarding the certification books: TSCM series and SCM series - the difference being that the SCM series is the BC series means its the complete thing and the TSCM series is prepared specific for the certification test. so mostly all the questions will be coming in the exam from the TSCM series.this is done as SCM series contains all the details so its not possible to study all the things, but its always better to refer them as you will be getting more knowledge about the respective course.
2.now to appear for the certification :
a. if you are not being sponsered by your company, so you have to appear on your own for the certification. now for the sap ceritification you have to enroll for the same in the authorized sap centres and not anywhere else. so there and only there you will be provided with all the required certification materials.
b. now if your company is sponsering you so its ok, only the difference being that your expense will be paid by your company.
c. if you have already appeared for some certification exam and have cleared it that means you are having the S-ID issued by SAP and if you have accessed by some means the certification materials so you can enroll for the same through SAP Pearson site where you have to pay only the certification exam fees.
3. visit some sap authorized training centre, there you will get all the updated details relating to your course as sap keeps on changing the pattern and pass percentage.

Hi,
I feel certification is about complete remembering of the 4 books which SAP provides.
Some tips while answering the questions is try to answer those questions first which you are 80-100 % sure.
Then answer the rest questions.
Everyone told me if you give 3-5 contnous wromg answers and submit them you will not certify.
Thus be sure to give continous right answers by answering the once you are completely sure.
On the type of questions part :
1. Employee subgrou grouping personnel subarea grouping questions are a must, e.g To which of the below personnel subare grouping can be done a) Work schedule b)Basic pay etc
2. Holiday Calendar- Moving Holiday and non-moving holiday-Types of Holidays
3.On Basic pay Infotype- Payscale groups and levels fundamentals
4. Wagetype characteristics table, each field be sure
5. Indirect evaluation INVAL A, B.,C,D-PRZNT, SUMME
6.Features : ABKRS,NUMKR,- and remember all features in the book must be around 15
7. Work schedule generation steps
8. Time Evaluation Types- In IT 0007 you have the types
9. Positive time - which of the below are true for positive time
10.Negative time - same question
11. Payroll area ; 1 scenario with different dates and frequency, suggest how many payrolll areas.( Draw diagram in a paper like circles and suggest how many)
12.Solution Manager: Try to get 100 % in this area. This is very small section in the book.
13. Personnel actions definition
14. Definition of all components of Personnel structure and Enterprise structure
15. Definition of schema
Basically all topics in the book 1 question.
Remeber in certficatin ther are no queries on the table Names like t512d in general. All they ask is concepts and fundamentals.
For this remebering the book is very important.

What is the correct approach to the SAP HR Certifications?

I was contemplating on taking the SAP HR Certification and wanted to know if it is really useful. I also read a few threads in which people were rushing to take the certification right after their initial training. I personally believe that unless you have the relevant experience in using the system it would not really matter. Could you please give me an insight and also advise on what should be the correct roadmap and if any books would be helpful?

Here are my tips:
- do the sample exams on the SAP Certification website.
- during the test, 'bookmark' any questions where you are not sure of the answers; then go back to them at the end of the test
- do not drink too much before the test. It lasts for 3 hours, and the instructor will accompany you to the bathroom if you can't contain yourself.
- try to relax: the pass mark when I did it was only 65 or 70%, which is not too hard to achieve.
- doublecheck your answer to _every_ question. You have plenty of time to do this.

A SAP certification will definitely help you understand the business processes and SAP itself. However, you would need to have a fair bit of experience as a functional expert on the domain or on SAP itself.
And most companies demand at least one implementation experience to consider you for roles.
In terms of the certification, you would need to just follow the courseware provided by your SAP certified training institute.

Both the certifications touch your knowledge on New GL Accounting
C_TFIN52_05 - based on ECC 6
C_TFIN52_64 - ECC6 + additional functionalities of Enhancement Pack (Not to opt for this unless you have extensive knowledge on EHP4 pack)
Therefore, I would suggest you go for C_TFIN52_05 - based on ECC 6

How can I deal with negative marking in a quiz marking scheme?

I wonder if anyone can help me with a problem I have in developing the 'code' for a marking scheme for an exam in Captivate 8. I would be very grateful for pointers towards a viable solution. At the moment I am just thrashing around.
My background is in C++ and I think part of my problem is in trying to find analogues of functions I would use in that environment. My experience with Captivate is limited to developing fairly simple training courses but now I need to put an existing exam on line, maintaining its relatively complicated marking scheme, which is as follows:
The paper is multiple choice, each question having four statements, one (or at the most two) of which is true. A completely correct answer gets 4 marks so where there are two correct statements each gets 2 marks. So far, so easy.
The difficulty arises from an element of negative marking. If 3 or more statements are selected, the score is 0 marks. If there is a single correct statement and it and an incorrect statement are selected, the score is 2 marks. If there are 2 correct statements and one of them is selected, the score is 2 marks. If an incorrect statement is selected as well, the score is 1 mark.
I had assumed I could use conditional logic and user variables on a slide-by-slide basis to provide a score value and then assign it to the appropriate system quiz variable, but it seems I can't assign values to variables in a quiz slide. That would have been too easy...
So, can anybody advise me on an approach that keeps the advantages of using the quiz framework, including the use of the Review function?

If you use SCORM 1.2 for reporting, negative scores will be converted to zero, because it doesn't allow negative score.
If you want to keep to Review functionality, you need to stay with the default question slides. There are some tweaking possibilities but changing the score is not one of them.

I think the only possible way is to use JS, but then you'll not be able to keep the functionality of the Question slides, you are in custom question slides. Plenty of examples of custom questions can be found on my blog as well.

How do we reset password for SAP* and DDIC user in SAP R/3 ECC 6.0?
I tried with acual method as below from client '000':
DELETE FROM USR02 CLIENT SPECIIED WHERE BNAME = 'SAP*' AND MANDT = '001'.
After this when I tried to logon '001' using SAP* with password PASS it is giving the message that Incorrect logon and password.
(Also when I checked for 'SAP*' in 001 it looks like it is not got created as I queried as below:
SELECT SINGLE * FROM USR02 CLIENT SPECIFIED WHERE BNAME = 'SAP*' AND MANDT = '001'.)
Can anybody throw some light on this? RewardS is guranteed for solutions!

You must restart the system. So, that a new user with the name "sap*" gets generated with password "pass"

You can use any specific Extractors to Create Data Source in R/3 side.
Let me explain with Generic Extraction
Goto SBIW--> you can see all the extractions here
Generic extractors are of 3 types:
1. Based on table/view
2. Based on Info set Query
3. Based on Function module
If you would like to create a custom table, then goto SE11>Select Table>Click on Create (Now create you own table here & use this table while creating Transaction data)
Goto RS02-->Select Transaction data.
Click on Create
Choose an application component to which the data source is to be assigned
Click on Generic Delta
Specify the Delta-Specific and the type for the field.
Specify a safety interval
Select Data type>Save> Now Data source was generated successfully
After generating the data source , you will find Delta Flag checked.

Once you've done with Data Source in R/3 side--> u need to Replicate it to BI

Error when creatibg a web service in SAP r/3 ecc 5, WebAS 640

We are trying to expose a BAPI (BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETSALESAREAS) as a web service on SAP R/3 ECC 5. web AS 640.
We created the virtual interface (Z_VI_CUSTOMER_BAPI)and the web service definition (Z_WSD_CUSTOMER_BAPI)from SE80. When we try to release the web service definition from WSCONFIG, we get an error saying:
"Error when creating web service(Web Service Definition Z_WSD_CUSTOMER_BAPI for SOAP application unbekannt)"

The Web Service is not called inside SAP R/3 but externally. For testing pourpose I actually use WS Navigator and XMLSpy.
The method inside ABAP Server Proxy which is exposed as a Web Server in SAP R/3 system is the following. Note that the Web Service is Asynchronous.
METHOD zpi_ii_test_ws_4_in~test_ws_4_in.
DATA: lwa_zpi_test TYPE zpi_test.
lwa_zpi_test-mandt = input-mt_test-record-client.
lwa_zpi_test-bukrs = input-mt_test-record-company.
