  • SAP PI 7 Sample Scenarios

When I look through the forum, I see a lot of questions about XI sample scenarios.
However, all the results are for SAP XI. Is there any or many sample scenarios for PI 7?
The methodology is the same, but there are a few differences procedurally. I
am looking for end to end scenarios if there are any.
    Thanks for anyones help,
    Stephen

    Hello,
Please provide me a sample scenario for
1.IDOC-Soap-IDOC using webservice (Is it possible without BPM?)
    thanks and regards,

    Hi,
For SOAP adapter configuration you need to first generate the WSDL from the ID and import that WSDl into the external definition.
Use that WSDL as a strucutre.

  • Sample Scenario Step by Step

    Hi ,
Can you please send me links on various components of MDM to start with.
also provide me sample screen shots for doing the same.
    My Email:      [email protected]
    Thanks,
    Srinivasa

You can find documentation on MDM here:
    https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700004121872006E
As for step by step scenarios it really depends on what you are trying to do.  But if you are new to MDM perhaps you would be interested in looking at a blog series I wrote on integrating and syndicating between MDM and R/3

  • Is a scenario a project-dependent Object ??

    Hi All !
perhaps this is a real trivial question.
Is a scenario a project-dependent Object or is it independent ?
    thanks in advance

To create your scenario you evidently need to have a project with the distinct objects you want to put in.
But once the scenario generated you could drop all your objects and your scenario will work fine again.
So for it generetion the scenario is dependant on the package which is totally dependent on the objects.
After the generetion of the scenario it is totally independent on the project.

Here, you need to do manual replication between both development system. No transport is possible because of different versions. I am not sure about the document that you posted but same is explained very well in upgrade guide. Please check there.
