Forgive me for saying, but it means:
Implementing security which complies with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and takes into account Segregation of Duties.
SOX and SOD are different things, from a security perspective SOX is generally technical security based and SOD is business process based (although bus proc has big SOX component).
There is a plethora of information via yahoo/google etc.

The current available version is SBOP PLANNING & CONSOLIDATION FOR BANKING 1.2, which is built on top of BPC 7.5
BPC 10 has only recently gone GA, so at the current moment there is nothing for version 10, it should come soon hopefully.
It should coincide with the release of the starter kits for version 10

Certification sample questions: Planning and Manufacturing with GATP

Dear Certified Folks
I have a certification exam in planning and manufacturing with gATP in couple of weeks from now. Could someone help me direct to some sample questions (other than the ones available on sap.com/education page) in case some kind consulthropist has maintained such a thing. I googled a lot but didnt land any. But not everything is available on google. I sincerely want to evaluate myself and accrodingly revise or postpone the test.
The sample questions I attempted on sap educaiton pages looked so vague and simple at the same time that I felt no one can go wrong but I got 5 in 10 wrong. To feel good, accounting for mutiple correct answer ones I got 9 of 14 right options in 10 questions right. If these are the kind of questions in final test, I will definately fail .. fixed scoring or scaled. I mean even If I study thrice over I will fail. I am purely educating myself on the system I have access to doing F1's and help.com plus some practical experience of a couple of "modules"
So please help, guide. share some strategies

Pardon me for my curiosity but certified consultants in a community forum like this is something that to be certified aspirants will naturally look forward to for guidance, tips and experiences and some tough questions as challenges from seniors. The same as we do in schools all over the world incl, third world countries. if this is not the purpose of this forum then I wonder what else is. Other information is available on sap wesbites.
I appreciate the fact that I cant pass exams with sample questions. There are enough bogus lords outsides trying to sell their SAP wares on the platter. but I dont need them to pass the test. If that were so in the past I would not have cared to registered here

In Bpc for reporting and query we have all in built tools.and you can get the graphical details in reports and input schedules.
and BPC7 is NW version i.e it supports BI from Backend and we are getting 7.5 which is of Business objects category.

There is wealth of information available on the [Service Marketplace |https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/scm]on the standard visibility scenarios which will probably get you started. Procurement visibility scenario is one of the them and have documentations.
There are couple of points which are worth knowing that SAP Event Management
- requires configuration in both application system (ECC) and SAP EM system (SCM)
- good understanding of the function module (extractors) for sending and posting events
- well thought supply chain events (design) business would like to monitor and manage
- reactions to both expected and unexpected events (follow-up activities)

Any idea what SAP is planning to do with EAServer/ Jaguar?

Somebody asked me this question and I thought this might be the best place to find out after spending a few minutes trying to answer on my own. I assume there is some master product list someplace for all the SAP/Sybase products and what there current status and future are.

We are suggesting taking the n-tier PB app and converting it to FAT client and then deploying with Appeon. Still quite a lot of work but less risk than a rewrite. At least all the business logic is retained and they avoid the need for a huge specification phase for a new system. (More often than not they don't have the details needed).
It all really depends on the complexity of their EAS application. We have one client whose application is SO complicated and over engineered that it is going to be a very difficult job to convert to FAT client. We might be calling on this forums help when that one comes around
I know that SAP are thinking about a route to move customers to a different application server platform and it is still conceivable that the EOL will be extended whilst they do that. All the while people are paying support then I'm sure they'll take the money until it is no longer commercially viable. A lot of people are still running on EAS 5.5 and so are not really supported anyway. They have visualised their deployment platforms to remove the hardware dependency and conceivably can run for many years yet.
I still believe that if you want n-tier then you should push the processing to the database, if you are not wanting to deploy a DB client then use Appeon.
EAS is dead and we need to help people move away with the least amount of pain.

How to export "Managed by" field of Distribution and Security groups and import with new values? (Exchange 2010, AD 2003)

My Active Directory environment is 2003 functional level and we have Exchange 2010.
I am trying to find out the best way to do a mass edit for the "Managed by" values of our security and distribution groups.
I know we can export the "managed by" field by csvde but I am not sure this is the correct way to do it. Also in the case that there are multiple users assigned to be managing a distribution group it only shows one value. Also powershell from Exchange
2010 can be used with "get-distribution" but as our AD environment is 2003 is this correct also?
Finally once the data is exported to csv can it be edited to then reimport and udpate the existing group managed by fields with new values?
Not really sure that the best way to go about this is.
Summary - We have 2003 AD with Exchange 2010 and I am trying to export a list of all our Distribution/Security groups showing the group name and managedby values so we can edit and update the
existing managedby values with new ones. In some cases we have multiple users as the owners.
Appreciate any advice on how this can be best achieved. Thank you.

We can use the following command in Exchange 2010 to export "Managed by" field of Distribution and Security groups:
Get-DistributionGroup | Select-object Name,@{label="ManagedBy";expression={[string]::join(“;”,$_.managedby)}},Primarysmtpaddress | Export-Csv
C:\export.csv
After you changed the Managed by field in export.csv and saved it as a new file named import.csv, we can run the following command to set with new value:
Import-Csv C:\import.csv | Foreach-Object{ Set-DistributionGroup –Identity $_.Name –ManagedBy $_.ManagedBy}
