SAP Solman MMC is not opening

Dear all,
i have tried to open SAP Solman MMC, i got the below error .
MMC cannot open the file c: \Documnets and setting\user\Windows\sapmmc.msc.
this may be because the file does not exit, is not an MMC console , or created by a later version of MMC. This may also be because you do not have sufficent access rights to the file .
NOTE : i have logged in SIDADM.

now there is no issue to open MMC ,.
I have checked ABAP WP table , it is showing all the work processes and status for work process is waiting .
The same thing i have checked J2EE process table, it is showing there is no items to show in this view nad its not showing any process.

SAP MMC console not working.

Hi All,
While opening the management console of the SAP,
I'm encountring an error given below:
"MMC can't open the file "C:\WINDOWS\SAPMMC.MSC."
This may be because the file doesnot exist, is not an MMC console, or was created by later version of MMC. This may also be because you don't have sufficientaccess rigths to the file.

.doc File not opening in SAP

Hi,
I am a Network Engineer & i am a noob in SAP.
One of our Customers is implementing SAP in their Enterprise & they are learning it.
Today, there is an error came in the SAP.Some users are not able to open a .doc File from the SAP Window.SAP expert is saying that its a PC Error.We have re formatted the PC & re installed the Microsoft Office in it.Still, the error is coming in 3 PCs.
Due to this, they (Users) are not able to download the reports.
I am attaching a Screen Shot which will give you the exact type of Error it is showing.Please help me step by step if you know the solution.

Transaction iView(from remote source) does not open a new SAP session

Hi All,
We are on portal 7.4 and are calling a transaction from ECC system. Within the transaction we have a button which displays graphs based on the output of the transaction. Since we are calling this transaction from portal, a new session does not open after clicking on this button.
In order to enable a new session, I have changed the configuration for 'disable new session buttons in SAP GUI' to false yet the new SAP session does not open. I have also verified the webgui setting and ensured that we do not have '~singletransaction' maintained, yet we are unable to enable the new session. Could you kindly suggest on how I can get this button to function?
Additional inputs:
- Referred to note 125814 for changing the new sessions value.
- Tried changing the iview type to 'SAP GUI for window' from SAP HTML type(which was default).
- In case I type '/o' in the command box for SAP, it gives me a 'maximum sessions reached' message, but this message does not come when I click on this button. In fact, nothing happens after I click on the button.
I still think there might be a possibility to enable this, however, I seek your inputs on this.

I can tell you that the same command used from the SAP Client open a new session with the same transaction...
Is strange that from the portal it has a different behaviour...

If you get this error in firefox you just have to install java plugin.

MMC hangs on Windows 2008 and SAP MMC console not coming up

Hi All,
We are running SAP CRM 7. After upgrading Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 R2, SAP is coming up on our J2ee engine. We are able to login to the SAP J2ee application, but SAP MMC hangs. After the reboot, SAP MMC does come up but it hangs while starting the SAP Server Processes. We have to close the MMC from CTRL-ALT-DEL (end process). After that SAP MMC does not come up. Although, we can number number of MMC.EXE running in task manager,but
the SAP MMC window is not displayed.
We have gone through OSS note Note 1326097 - SAP MMC Snap-In crash for certain operations and installed the new version of MMC. But still the error exists. Also, we have installed the VCREDLIST patch and have installed all the DLLs mentioned in OSS SS Note 684106 - Microsoft runtime DLLs.
Also, the event viewer shows the following message

Hello,
Try to re-create (re-register) the SAP Services (SAP instance services) in services.msc list. Then try to put SAP MMC up.
Or, after recreation of sap instance services, try to reconfigure the sap mmc as well -

My SAP MMC is not showing server instance01

Hello Experts,
My SAP MMC is not showing server instance01.
I am running Netweaver 2004s SP17.
It was working fine earlier, and after a system reboot, I tried to start the server again, but MMC does not show server instance in NSP node.
I had tried starting the server from Administrative tools->Services   SAPNSP_01
but, its not starting and showing and message as
       Could not start the SAPNSP_01 service on Local Computer.
       Error 5: Access is denied.
where as SAPNSP_00 in Administrative tools->Services started and showing that in MMC console also.
Is there a way for me to fix this?

I managed to fix the problem - I ran sapstartsrv.exe from windows explorer (located in \usr\sap\NSP\DVEBMGS00\exe)
Here I entered the following:
Operation: -Install Service and register COM interface & Start Service
SID: NSP
NR: 00
Start Profile: C:\usr\sap\NSP\SYS\profile\START_DVEBMGS00_<ServerName> (where <ServerName> is your computer name)
User: <ServerName>\<UserName> (where <ServerName> is your computer name, and <UserName> is your windows login name)
Password: windows login password
Startup Type: Automatic

System Services Reporting is not opening from main SAP screen menu.

I have upgraded kernel patch in all our three systems of DEV, QAS & PRD, from patch level 139 to 376 (Kernel 460_REL). After upgrade ll system are working fine.
Yet, System>Services>Reporting option is not opening from SAP Menu, even it is not giving any kind of error message too.
While the same screen is opening from X-code: SA38.

Hi Bala,
If you go to transaction SE80 -> Repository Information System -> Other objects -> Transactions and you search for SOAMANAGER, you get into the screen where you can modify attributes for this transaction. Please check if there are strange values entered in there... Or maybe SAPGUI for HTML is not selected.

SAP Enterprise portal "portal content" keeps on loading not opening

SAP Enterprise portal portal content keeps on loading and not opening only in my system(computer).When I check the console for errors, I found the below error,

Make sure the hostname you use in your URL (short and FQDN) can be resolved.
ie:
myportal:<port>/irj
myportal.mycompany.com:<port>/irj
eg: in your hosts file make sure
10.23.2.50 myportal myportal.mycompany.com
Also after all the changes you have made, empty your browser cache and also force a GET by using cntrl+F5 key.

SAP MMC does not start and red in color

Hi Gurus,
We are in a process of installing EhP4 and there were lots of errors. We reverted back to old version.
After moving back to old state i.e., EhP3, system does not start.
1. SAPosCol does not start acutomatically in the service
2. sapmmc does not show database details
3. When I try to start the server through SAPMMC, all esmart03 0, esmart03 1 turns to red.
Please let me know how i can fix this problem.
I want to post screen shot, but i am not sure how i can post the same here.

We had taken system system backup (complete "E" drive) where SAP server is installed. I had to stop EhP4 process as we got a requirement to bringup NWBC.
We restored the "E" drive content and then restarted the SAP server.
After that servies did not start and MMC does not show up Database details.
Do i need to create services and MMC to fix the issues??

Excel file generated through SAP not opening on Smartphone

Hi,
My program sends an email with excel attachment (Used FM : SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1).
Receiving person able to open and view the Excel file attachments on Laptops / Desktops.
But on Smartphone, it gives error 'Can't Open - Excel doesn't recognize the file format'.
Please help on above problem.

Your expertise needed to overcome issue of opening excel file generated and send as attachment on smartphone.
Tried program 'BCS_EXAMPLE_7' (Sending and Excel attachment) - but Excel file not opened on smartphone. (Giving error Can't Open Excel doesn't recognize the file format 'ExcelfileName')
If we open excel file on desktop / laptop there is no problem for opening the file.
