Sap srm ebp certification

I believe that there is a list of questions that are asked during the srm ebp certification exam. There are 40 questions and the exam is of one hour duration. Can anybody send me the list of questions or likely questions that can be asked. I would appreciate if you could send those to me at [email protected]

Exam is quite simple when you are familliar with SRM210 Course.
Certification have test questions like:
1 Which of the following are true
a In Classic Scenario, PO to the vendor is always sent from the R/3
b In Classic Scenario, PO to the vendor is always sent from the SRM
c In Classic Scenario, PO to the vendor is always sent from both R/3
d In Classic scenarion, PO to the vendor can be sent via email
Total point marks = 100
Passing marks = 70
I recomend to read SAP BestPractices for SRM to complete Your knowledge to exam preparation.

Query involving XI 7.0 (PI 7.0) on SAP SRM 5.0 (EBP - SUS Scenario)

hi,
I am currently working on SRM EBP-SUS scenario which makes use of XI 7.0.
while reading through the posts on this scenario, prior to XI 7.0,mapping content had to be imported into XI repository.
as per XI 7.0 is it required to import the mapping content into IR or it is already shipped into IR.
any help is appreciated.

If you export the mapping content in previous version then that can be imported into IR, in MM ctrShift0 then you will get on window ther you can import the mapping .

Advantage of using SAP SRM

Hi,
Could any one please explain the advantages of using SAP SRM over MM module. As per me we can de most of the activities in MM except some vendor related activities (and that even if SUS is used).

Hi Lalit,
All advantages of using SRM and MM module is in Plan-Driven Procurement documentation on service.sap.com/instguides -> SRM.
Generally planning in APO or MRP in an ERP system calculates the quantity and materials required. This requirement can be transffered to the EBP system. Requisitions from SAP Plant Maintanance or Project System are also possible requirements.
The requisitions are passed to EBP. If the data is complete and unique, purchase orders can be created automatically. If the data is missing, the proffesional purchaser has to complete the missing information in Sourcing or via Process Purchase Orders. An option for the professional buyer is to assign un-sourced PO to an RFQ and send it out for bids.
The proffesional purchaser completes the orders, assings source of supply, add or deletes item.
Once the order is complete it is issued automatically to R/3. XML is the upcoming medium, since the data can be automatically integrated in more and more supplier's systes, or You can send orders by e-mail, fax or print them.
Goods receipt is either done in EBP by supplier via an XML confirmation, by employee who requested the item by general goods recipient or in the backend system. Inventory is updated in backend.
The invoice is processed in EBP manually by the requestor or an accountant submitted by the supplier via an XML invoice, possibly from SUS or backend system.

R/3 Contracts Do Not Show as Source of Supply in SRM/EBP

We are implementing SRM4.0 connecting to a backend R/3 Enterprise (470) instance in a classic mode. "Standard" functionality should allow us to see backend R/3 contracts (by material group) when in the source of supply tab in the SRM shopping cart. None appear. We want to be able to select the backend material group contracts from the source of supply tab - this was standard in previous versions (of SRM/EBP).
Did we miss a new configuration setting? Is anyone aware of a potential "fix" for this? (All RFCs, etc work fine). We are not interested in replicating the R/3 contracts to SRM.
Any help is appreciated.

Archiving SRM EBP and SUS Data at End of Contract Period

Hi Team,
We are implementation SRM EBP and SUS solution to one of our Customer.
Below is our Landscape Details
SRM 7.01 SP09
Portal 7.3
SP08
MDM 7.1 SP07
We have deployed all the application in our Data Center and customer have signed a 5 contract to use the solution. At the end
of the 5 years, if the customer wants to move to other solution, they the want the master and all SRM related datas to be archived and copied in
a media, where they can retain for 7 years.
Please confirm how this can be achived the SRM solution

You can get the XI contents for SRM Server 6.0 under this URL:

Support Packages and Patches -> SAP Application Components -> SAP SRM (WITH SAP EBP) -> SAP SRM 6.0 -> Entry by Component -> XI Content
But for this, you requires a valid marketplace user-id and password.
But according to my understanding, you can use the XI contents for SRM MDM Catalog 1.0 under SAP SRM 5.0 also.
The file name is SRMMDMCAT1000_2-20001719.ZIP.

SAP SRM - ERP INTEGRATION

Hello,
we are designing application architecture. Our landscape is:
- ECC 6.0
- SRM 5.0
- XI 7.0
We are thinking of using XI as middleware even for those scenario in which in not required (es. Contract Managament):
In particular every time we have a communication based on IDOC we want to use XI as communication middleware. Pure RFC integration will not use XI.
Has anyone some experience on this?

Sending RFQs from SRM EBP to SRM SUS

Hi All,
Am having scenario that i need to send RFQs from SRM EBP to SRM SUS.
& SAP provided Standard Content & that was imported in to IR.
In EBP I have Standard Interface for RFQ as RequestForQuotation_Create_Out in namespace http://sap.com/xi/EBP.
In SUS am not having such type of standard interface as RequestForQuotation_Create_in.
Can anybody please tell me which interface i can use or what terminology is using for RFQ in SUS.

3. System parameter

4. STRUSTSSO2 - Can please elaboarte what exactly we need to do?
5. We have given Roles SAP_EC_BBP_BIDDER & SAP_EC_SUS_BIDDER to vendor in SUS.
We are not able see bids in Vendor login in SUS. but we are able to see PO's in same login.

RFQs From SRM EBP to SRM SUS

Hi All,

ALL,
We are trying to push contracts to CCM from SRM / EBP 5.5. When we try to click the Distribute the contract to catalog we can not. Is this a SRM config item? Any help would be great!

1)SRM SUS :: I SUS-Supplier Self Service.: In this vendor are linked with SAP SRM server the data will be exchanged from SAP SRM server to the vendor WEB based service and vice versa
Each vendor will be given a User ID & Password.
The vendor can logon to the webportal to access the data related to him like
1. Purchase order details.
2.Goods receipt details (or) Confirmation in SRM
3.Invoice details etc.
2) EBP : Enterprise buyer professional, before SAP introduced SRM the e procurement is used to be done in SAP EBP.Currently we are in SAP EBP 5.0 Version
3) SAP CCM :: Catalog Content Management. SAP CCM is to maintain catalogs.
Catalogue is a defined set of data will be published in the Itnernet (or) intranet.
If a shopping cart is to be raised you can take data from the catalogue.
in the catalog for each material , vendor ,price is there .
Once shopping cart is ordered and it is approved. in the BACKEND (SAP R/3) or in SAP EBP
itself P.O is created .It is a Big area

Bespoke means Customer development.
So you can create Shopping carts, either automatically via logging to SRM portal or programmatically using Bespoke developments / programs.
BAPI Function module - 'BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL' is used to create shopping cart from portal with other function modules.
Also you can use RFC BBP_PD_SC_CREATE function module for Creating Shopping Cart.
