SAP TimeZone Exception

Hi,
I am currently getting an "SAP TimeZoneException"  in NWA.
This happens when we click on a button in a webdynpro java application which is running on  a PI runtime system.
No exception is occuring on the screen but it appears only in the Log Viewer(Problem Management>Logs and Traces>Log Viewer) and I select SAP Logs (Java).
The exact exception is    "com.sap.i18n.SAPTimeZoneInfo.SAPTimeZoneException" .
Please help on the above.
Thank you.
Regards,
Reinuka.

Please review the following SAP Note... it's a future fix...

  • SAP timezone vs Windows Timezone

    Hello all,
is there any way to map Windows timezones to ABAP ones (for example, any ABAP function)? That means, for example, '(GMT+01) Amsterdam, Berlin, ...' in Windows to 'CET' in SAP.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
1)The SAP GUI for HTML is used in combination with the ITS technology. It runs inplace in the browser. The contents are generated by the Internet Transaction Server (ITS). The SAP GUI for HTML need not be installed separately on the client computers.
2)SAP GUI for JAVA:  This GUI runs as Java applet inplace in the browser
You must provide users with the SAP GUI for Java on the Web server and edit the properties in service file Transaction_Configuration. To do so follow this link

    Hi,
I did all that and I still get the error message. Here is the message mapping :
    /ns:Patient_file2/institute=/ns:Patient_file/institute
    /ns:Patient_file2/patientID=/ns:Patient_file/patientID
As you can see it's very basic. The data type for the source and the target is the same.
    Any idea what I'm missing?

  • Exception handling in receiver sync SOAP comm channel

    Hi experts,
We are developing following synchronous scenario: sRFC to SOAP.
In this, XI sends some data to an application and the application sends back the response. No problem so far.
However, this application can throw exceptions that we want to send back to SAP, these exceptions are not part of a message and we can only see them AS AN ERROR IN SXI_MONITOR in the receiver SOAP header, in the error tab, they look like:
"com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault:
    Questions:
Is there any way to get these exceptions from the application and send them back to SAP as if they were the SOAP.response message??
What if we select Keep headers in the receiver SOAP channel?
do we need to create a fault message type and assign it in ID?
    Any ideas?
    Best regards,
    David

check for the possibility of raising an alert which has SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT as the Container variable....so if there is an error this alert variable will get populated and you will receive an alert....applicable only for adapter engine alert...

  • Useing Crytal Report in SAP B1

    Hi, everybody !
I want to use Crytal Report to report. have i to use it?
Can you tell me an examlpe!
    Thank you!

The steps to use crystal report in SAP B1:
    1. Creating addon or report form that is integrated to SAP B1. This is an interface.
    2. Creating a report launcher that can be a form listing the reports
3.Prior to creating report launcher and addon, you must develop the layout of crystal report and database connection setting
Usually, there is no crystal report created without integrated to SAP B1 except using addon or interface.
    Rgds,
