i have to take the data from SAP system(4.7) to SAP sytem (5.0) to update third party software and back to SAP (ecc 5.0) again update it.

Third party software and sap interactive forms

Is it possible that data (from a third party software) be sent to an SAP interactive form hosted on an SAP instance?

Here is what i want to achieve. I want to create an Adobe form in my DM instance (webdynpro or java). I still have some old application that are not on the SAP platform but those applications could use the same adobe Form. So instead of maintaining Adobe form for DM and another for my non-sap application, i would like send the data from that non-sap application to the forms that is in my DM sap instance, is it possible.

Integration between third party software and SAP

I have requirement in which i have to integrate SAP with third party software. My third party software will be generating material no as we generate in SAP then after the generation of the Material No by the third party software again i have to pull the material no generated and corresponding information into SAP .Please tell me how to do this as i am new to these concepts and if possible please send links from where i can download study materials.

There are many approches for solving this integration issue:
But before solving this issue there are few questions which need to be known:
1. In what form the material no list is generated? i.e. some flat file, in database table, or shared memory
2. What is the language for 3rd party software? C, Java, .Net etc
3. What is the frequency of material number generation? i.e. is it on demand, batch processing etc
Considering 3rd party software is generating flat file or csv files for material number we can have this integration in
following way:
1. Save file at particular location.
2. You can configure logical path in FILE transaction
3. Write ABAP report to read that file using logical path and file name.

5. Create BDC recording for MM01 transaction for material creation using Link: [SHDB|http://abaplovers.blogspot.com/2008/02/recording-bdc-using-transaction-shdb.html] transaction code.
6. Using data from internal table and BDC recording create all the materials in SAP systems.
    In this step you need to loop at internal table and fill data variables in BDC recording with the internal table data
    and call the transaction MM01 for creating material.
Above steps are very high level guidelines and it is one way of integration but concept wise more or less integration will be in same way!
You can definetly fine tune it by exploring SAP help!

Extraction with third party software and SAP

I am new to BI, and I have some doubts in data extraction.
Suppose I have different source systems (Third party softwares) how do I connect to my BI system for my extractions. Is this our job to connect all the source systems for extraction or ?

Third party software ipod back to pc! HELP

i lost all my music on my computer and installed third party software to copy music from ipod to put back into my liberay, but program copied music from i pod but didnt transfer it into liberay, is there a way? and not one by one? and also the music i do manage to transfer is there a way i can put music in liberary back into correct track listing order?

If your music was transferred back to your desktop or music folder then either drag the folder to the iTunes source list to add it back or go to File> Add File to Library or Add Folder to Library : About the Add to Library, Import and Convert functions
Once the files are back in iTunes you can order the library. I've found that this method works for me when things are out of order. Right click at the top of any column in your iTunes library and choose **Track Number** from the list. Click at the top of this new column to sort it and after that click on the Album column. If you like you can then click on Artist which is how I prefer mine ordered, it will continue to hold the track order as well. Afterwards anything you import should follow this arrangement Artist>Album>Track Number within Album (you can hide the track number column when you've done if you don't want it cluttering up the view)

I uploaded my ipod to a third party software and now I cant find the files.

I was having major problems syncing my ipod with iTunes so I used a third party software called "MediaWidget" to upload my data to itunes, it said it had succesfully uploaded and when i looked in itunes they were all there BUT I then restored my ipod and all data from it was erased when I tried to Sync it with Itunes the following error message came up...
"Some of the items in the iTunes library were not copied to the ipod because they could not be found"
So I then selected some random songs in itunes and it said that the files could not be found. What has happened to my data? PLEASE HELP!

Anyone else have difficulty using third party software and websites with the new MacBook Pro with retinal display?

I just returned my new Mac book pro with retinal display after three very disappointing three weeks of trying to use certain websites and other third party programs (Quickbooks, Raintree) that would not function properly. My husband own the previous MacBook Pro version with the built in CD rom and I was able to use those above mentioned websites and problems with the no difficulties. Did I just happen to get a lemon or is this a function of the computer being too new for third party software?

Programs such as Quickbooks pro for Mac, I was able to import my previous data and I was able to enter about 5 new transactions before it stopped being able to save transactions. Other programs ( Raintree ) that I use via VM software as a windows based program I was able to access and use some features but not others. On the web browsers (both safari and Mozilla) I use a website that has an analyzer feature and it would pull up a blank screen in the place where I would enter pertinent information. They tried pulling this website at the apple store today and the same issue happened. All these programs and website I am able to access and run smoothly with no issues on my husbands MacBook Pro , which is why I returned my MacBook. I just wondered if others were experiencing similar issues with their MacBook with retinal display.

I am trying to send an e-mail form a third party software and it tells me that it can not connect to MAPI. I do not know what that is or what to do about it.

The third party software is called Photo Mechanic.

we are actually trying to integrate sap with EAI( IBM WEBSPERE third party software) and here date needs to flow from EAI - SAP.
and we have done that through BAPI and in the EAI we got a message saying that the data base has been created but infact when i am trying to check the same in my sap screen am not able to find it i have also checked the database table but its not available .
do anyone has any idea as to where do we exactly go and search for a particular data once its transferred from a third party software????
any help is highly appreciated

COMMIT WORK is necessary after most BAPIs. What you describe is usually a result of calling BAPI without COMMIT WORK. The message tells you that document was created, but when you look into database, the document is not there.
I'm not sure how to resolve this in case of the 3rd party software though. Maybe instead of just using a plain BAPI you will need to write a custom function module, which will capp BAPI and do COMMIT.

All third party software no longer works

I've been trying to open Microsoft Word, Seashore, and so on today, and for some reason none of them will open anymore, whereas all of my first party software is fine as usual.
The only thing I think it could be is that I ran the program that deleted all the unneccesary languages earlier on today. I didn't try any of the third party software before that, so I can't be sure if the two are connected.
I don't really want to restore the laptop to factory settings, is there another way to get the programs to work again, or undo what that program uninstalled?

Yes, it was monolingual.
I definitely didn't delete "english", but I didn't see the option for US English, so maybe it was that.
I think the program also deleted some operating systems, for other computers like G5 and stuff.
I tried reinstalling the third party software and there was no change.
Restoring the whole system isn't that much of a problem, the only annoying thing would be transferring all the music from my other computer again, but it isn't a huge issue really.
What is the best way of restoring the system? Do I just put the Mac OX install disks in and follow some options?

Third party software for imovie to enable Sony HD cameras to import footage

Pretty much I bought a camera that won't work with my Mac unless I jump through hurdles to make it do so. (which is nice because I spent a crap ton of money on the camera) Apple support told me I had to find third party software and that they have no clue when an update for imovie would come out which allowed avchd to read on a mac. Please god let some one solve my problem for me. I'm not too technically savoy so if the answer is complex, dumb it down a little. I really don't want to have to return the camera. it's a sony Sr-1 pretty sweet little guy and the jerks at best buy said it would be compatible with mac.

Need Third Party software recommendation - duplicates management and remova

I have read several dozen discussions addressing duplicate file/song removal from itunes, and many recommend third party software. While there is a 'show exact duplicates' command in itunes at Shift:File->Show exact duplicates, in my case all it did was show all of my songs, 8,440 instead of the actual 4,220 that are in my library. I'm not sure of the purpose of this command, perhaps it works for someone but not me.
Absent the ability to add a user defined column in itunes that would have the capability to perform an Excel-like function to number each row, allowing the sorting of odd/even numbers or some such scheme, I guess users with thousands of songs who have fallen into the duplication trap are required to purchase third party software to correct this, or just go ahead an begin whatever medical procedures purport the relief of carpal tunnel syndrome.
Does anyone have recommendations of software they have actually used, paid, share or free?

Would that I be so lucky! I reinstalled my Vista OS and was adding back all of the programs and data, so all of the music had the same 'date added'. However, I have just this moment solved my own problem. Here is what worked for me:
1. I downloaded freeware from the website LCIBrosSolutions.com which does indeed identify duplicates in the iTunes file and will erase them.
2. However, now you are stuck with broken links (i.e. "!" songs) in your iTunes, and need to eliminate them. What I did was go into the View choices, and picked something that I would never use. In my case, I picked "Episode Number" and added it as a column. Then, I went to "select all" and highlighted all 8000+ song names. Right clicking gave me "Get Info" after the warning, and then I went to the video tab and entered the number 4. I un-highlighted, sorted on the Episode Number Column, and since the song names with no real content would not accept the number 4, they were at the bottom, and were all duplicates. I deleted them.
The way to verify that you do indeed have broken links is to sort by song name, and see that every other one does have an ! by it.
