Sap treasury configuration

Hi,
My question is relevant to the Standard Configuration.
Please advice me in the following matters
Product Type 51A (I have created 51B)
100- investment
I have used standard Flow Type
1100 – Investment
1150 – Interest Capitalization
1120 – Final Repayment
1200 – Nominal Interest
Update Types - I did not change
Assign Update types to usages - I did not change
Assign Flow Types to Update Types - I did not change
My question is above configuration settings are correct
Any changes are required
please advice

Hi Raju
The steps are correct and if you copy from Standard 51a to 51b it should be o.k. Just make sure that you also checked the assignement of Transaction types to flow types and update types to Transaction types.

Dear Raju,
There are many customization which need to be completed. I assume you are looking for GL account determination.
Treasury and Risk Management- Transaction Manager- General Settings- Accounting-Link to Other Accounting Components-Define Account Determination
All the customization need to be completed in Accounting-Link to Other Accounting Components You shall do customization for all the production and posting of GL too.

Drill down from Cash Management to SAP Treasury

Hi
I am setting up SAP CM for a client running SAP ERP 6.0 release 603. We want to update SAP Treasury into SAP CM and have succeded in getting some expected cash flows into the cash position report from Treasury. The issue is however that when we want to drill down on the amount and expect to see the Treasury document (for documents where the posting did not reach due date yet), I get this error:
Planning level belongs to Treasury - no matching line items found - Message RQ147.
I can see that this was an issue years back and that SAP Notes corrected it at that time - but we are on the newest version so I cannot use those notes - but I still have the problem
Would be really grateful for an answer

FSCM : The Treasury u2013 Cash Management Integration.
I have been read the OSS note 93214. All the prerequisities are with the note but we are still getting problem.
Error:
Level E0 belongs to Treasury. No matching line items found
Message no. RQ147
The Planning Level ZZ is BNK and not assigned to any account.
The Planning Level Z1 is BNK and not assigned to any account.
The Planning Level E0 is BNK and assigned to Money Flow Accounts.
I try to various combination of those planning levels in configuration of V_T036V table. But none of them worked.
I run the FDFD many times but still it is not working. Please check the system and support us to solve this. We will planning to go alive at January but still we cannot have an TR u2013CM integrated system.
The table FDT1 is getting some values.
The table FDC1 is empty and not updating.
The System : SAP ECC 6.0
We tried FDFD Tcode, TRCC_SWITCH is marked up, we assigned the company codes to CM OT29, we assigned all flow types to relevant to CM
We have read the following notes; 97298, 332376, 384988. But fot the configuration side I think we are ok. But stil we are getting that error.

Sap treasury withholding tax

Hi,
When i am trying to create TM01 - fixed deposit creation (nominal interest) - withholding tax is generated
When doing compound interest creation - no withholding tax is not generated?
What is the reason?
Any config changes need ?
TDS entries:
On Maturity or End of Financial Year, Whichever comes earlier.
Maturity
Bank Account                                                 DR
TDS on Interest/Advance Tax & Interest       DR
FDR Account                                                 CR
Interest receivables Account               CR

P.S. When you use compound interest - the original flow is being changed from 1200 Nominal interest to 1150 Interest capitalization. So, here tr. SM34 -> VC_TR_DERFLOWS_5 you have to add new original flow + your tax flow.

ETF can be mapped in derivatives module.
You can map them as options as well. Options on ETFs operate the same as individual equity options. They offer the efficiency of ETFs with the flexibility of options. ETF options are standardized put and call options on underlying ETFs.

The requirement is
Fixed Deposits Investment in 10 banks. Shall we assign 10 GL Accounts 10 Banks or Single GL account is fulfill the requirement.
If Single GL account is fulfill the requirement, How to get Reports?

Hi Krishna,
I guess it should be sufficient to have just 1 G/L account for the position of fixed-term deposits, as you can use the standard report TPM12 to report over outstanding position per different Business partner, which is equal to different bank you deal with on a specific date. the advantage of this report is that you can even report over periods, which are in the future, therefore no data is transferred to accounting yet.

How can SAP be configured to prevent users from consuming locks?
The issue is that we want to prevent users to use upto maximum locks and so that we will not get lock table overflow issue. I know that we can assign parameter "enque/table_size" a good amount of value. But it is not for any specific user.
Also want to alert in CCMS if any user reaches to its maximum speficified limit of locks.

You cannot set a limit of locks per user. There are two ways to reduce/control the number of locks:
- change fewer records within one transaction
- cover more records with one lock using wildcards
Basically it is an application / development issue.

How to retrive the overwritten SAP Default Configuration

Hi There,
I was trying to enhance the component BT115IT_SLSO to add some new fields into the table view Items.
I copied the view configuration to my Z config key but by mistake & added the fields into the default view and saved the changes. Now the default configuration is screwed up.
Can some one point out how to retrive the SAP standard configuration( where it is stored ). In the configuration tab of the view the configuration looks ok but in Web UI I see all the columns available in the context node, and makes the view useless, when I go to the personlization of the view all fields shows the message < Error in Meta data > and I can not see the details of the fields.
I have already backed off my enhancement. Now I want to retrive the view configuration.
Your help will be highly appreciated.

Issue resolved.
Solution was In BSP workbench when I went to choose configuration I saw that just next to std conf there was column for cust conf. and both were marked X so I deleted the conf and that gave me the standard conf back.

SAP Treasury and FSCM certification

Hello All, Iam planing to do certification in SAP Treasury and certification in SAP FSCM. I was not able to find the coresponding exam codes in the SAP certification list. Iam not sure iam not searching properly or they dont have any of certifications of the above. could you please help me to find the right exam codes.

Hello,
Even though Treasury is technically part of FSCM, it may make sense to think of FSCM as divided into 2 categories: one I call FSCM (Biller direct, credit management, dispute management, collections management) and second is Treasury (Treasury and Risk Management, Cash and Liquidity Management, In House Cash, Liquidity Planner).
So, it may make sense to pick one of those areas for study/career as opposed to both; atleast initially. SAP has classes (no certifications) for these areas.

You haven't posted flow types 1150.
Please go to your transaction, select "Cash flow" tab, Choose layout "106 Posting view", select flow type 1150 (one from your first screenshot above - use flow type and date) and check "Posting status" field - what's inside (please, provide screenshot)?

The corresponding flow is due before the accrual/deferral key date, but has not yet been posted; this may result in the incorrect amount of expenses or revenues being displayed in financial accounting.
System Response
The flow is treated by the accrual/deferral function as if were already posted, i.e. the related expenses or revenues are accrued/deferred, where appropriate.
Procedure
Post the flow to correct the amounts of expenses or revenues shown in financial accounting.
