Hi All
I am getting an error when ever i am installaing SAP tutor full in WIN2K3 saying that
"Target Installation Not Found"
But when i am installing on windows XP there was no problem.

Hello all,
While installing our Developer Workplace SR2 on our workstation, we encountered an error indicating that the database instance is not found.
FYI, we were able to successfully install two without the problem . It appears that during the installation, it was able to access the database - dropping the said instance - but failed in creating the database instance afterward.

Thanks for the prompt response.
As I reviewed the sequence of the installation, it appears that this could be an installation bug. The sequence does not make sense at all - it drops the database instance and starts a session after that - thus, resulting into the error.
The option I chose during installation is to recreate the default DB instance which is "J2E" that is made available during the MaxDB installation. Thus, it should recreate the "J2E" instance after the dropping of which -- this appears to be missing in the entire sequence.
The Resoultion/Workaround
Well, nothing amazing - but I just chose to make a different DB instance instead of using the existing J2E instance from MaxDB (i.e. DB1). In this approach, it does not have to drop the instance but instead create a NEW instance.
Not a definitive solution but a mere, common sense workaround. But I hope this helps those who has encountered the same issue through the same installation scenario.

When installing Calendar Server 3.5 on NT near the end an error
occurs: "libnmspr20.dll not found " and then it will exit the setup
without completion.
This is a bug because it is looking for the libnmspr20.dll in the
system path but the Calendar Server installation has left it in a
temp directory. This does not occur if the Netscape Messaging Server
has been previously installed on the same host. A workaround is, when
the error message displays, you DON'T press ok, but search your
computer for the missing file (usually found in temp-directory).
You then copy the file to a directory in your system path. Now you
can press the OK button and the installation will fail. Re-install
the calendar server, this time the installation won't fail.

Installing Latest JRE on NT4 sp6a produces the same error:

I searched www.installshield.com since the error is an installer error and the installer is InstallShield. NO results found there either.
Seems like the installer team needs to brush up on the NT4 platform.

What product and version number are you talking about. Is it a trial version, or is it the full or subscription version. If the latter, activate the product with your S/N or Adobe ID and then do the updates.

Apparently, security programs like Macafee and Norton view Itunes updates as new programs and block then from access. If you add Itunes to the list of exemptions, it solves the problem.

cleared the "Temporary Internet Files" folder that contained C:\Documents and Settings\Greg\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5.
tried to load jre-1_5_0_04-windows-i586-p-iftw.exe for the third time, and the install still hangs up.

here's the thing, I cannot surf to "Content.IE5" folder in my "Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files" folder, but I can plug in the directory in the address bar of Windows Explorer & see the "Content.IE5" folder.
I do not see "je150000[1].cab" or "je150000[1].cab" in there.
Am I using the wrong program to fresh install Java for Firefox in XP?
Is there something wrong with my operating system?

no problems with ITunes on Dell Inspiron Windows 7 until yesterday. ITunes version 11.0.2. iphone won't connect stating required software is not installed. uninstall and install 64 bit version of iTunes. I have 64 bit version already. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times already. When re-installing ITunes get error message c:\programdata\34be82c4-e596-4e99-a191-52c6199ebf6\x64\difxinst64.exe. file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. please install or create an association in the Default Programs control panel. iTunes install continues after the difxinst64.exe error message but then get the iphone cannot be used error message again. therefore, I can't sync my iphone with iTunes until I figure this out.

I am a PC Tech and had a customer with this issue. Ran across this post in my search and ended up finding the solution on my own. The problem isn't with the iTunes software but the installer for the GEARAspi drivers. Really the issues is with the file type asssociations in the windows registry. On the system I was working on the HKCR key for .exe should point to the exefile key but pointed to nothing. To fix it create a new txt document and paste the following in (only paste what is in between the [code][/code] tags):

After I did the latest MacOS update (10.9.5) Safari (7.0.6) no longer runs. I repaired permissions and also rebooted in safe mode so I could potentially remove any spurious plug-ins, but the last time I did this was with MaxOS 6 so I have no idea where to look in the current version.

Can't install Adobe Flash due to "Aktionsliste nicht gefunden" error (action list not found).

Hi there,
I'm on Mac OS X 10.8.3 and I have trouble updating/installing the latest version of Adobe Flash.
I had Flash installed but the normal update would fail with an "Aktionsliste nicht gefunden" error (action list not found).
Then I uninstalled Flash (via the Adobe tool) and tried installing it several times from scratch but I'm always getting the same error.
I now also disabled my Avast virus software before installing but still, same error.
Please, there needs to be a solution to this. Does somebody know how to get around this error, so that I can install the latest version of Flash?
Any help would be much appreciated.

[SOLVED]getting "error 15: file not found!"

Hi all, I'm new to Arch and linux in general but i've managed so far and I'm really enjoying it.
I'm dual booting Arch and Vista.
Anyway, everything was working fine until I decided that I wanted to stop using GRUB as my bootloader and I used a program called EasyBCD and this guide http://apcmag.com/how_to_dualboot_vista … htm?page=4
Now, I get "Error 15: File not found!" when i try to boot into arch. I've looked through countless other threads and google results with people with the same problem but none of the solutions in those threads helped me.

ok, try doing it the manual way by booting the cd as if you where to do an installation where it prompts you to log in as root.
Once your logged in as root do
grub
and you will get the grub prompt
grub>
then the at the grub> prompt do
grub> root (hd0,2)
that tells grub it will find the boot files on the 3rd partition of the 1st hard drive. Then,
grub> setup (hd0)
to setup the grub bootloader on the MBR of the first hard drive.
If all goes well you should see something like 'Checking if "/boot/grub/stage1" exists... yes '.
grub> quit
and reboot.
