SAP Custom Code Maintainability Service - SAP AG only

As an Enterprise support customer I have a quick question on Custom Code Maintainability Service
We have previously requested this service from SAP and they have generated and gave us the report.
My question:
Is this service ONLY being done by SAP, or are we (as customers) also allowed to run this service ourselves?.
When I look in the services available I cannot find the service to create and run myself. I am currently putting in some serious time to set-up the custom code life cycle management (CCLM). As part of this I would also like to run the service and generate the report myself, as I have done with some other service like TEA (Transport execution analysis)
I have no problems with using CDMC (Custom development management cockpit) and to generate reports there, but it would be nice to actually run the service and generate the report ourselves.

All these orders can be created using Tcode = IW33. But for Disconnection, Reconnection orders you should like your orders to disconnection document (EC85).

Performance Optimization Self Service- SAP help requirement

Hi,
I want to know whether for SAP's help is required for performing the self service of Performance Optimization.
If we collect ST12 trace and use it to perform the self service then is the report which is generated from the self service sufficient to take further action or will I need some SAP expertise to implement / take corrective actions?
In short, whether I can do the Performance Optimization by myself or I need help from SAP?

because Guided procedure itself the proven methodlogy from SAP, the report provides the lots of suggestions against the SAP best practices.
you can use it yourself most of the time. if still you need expert guidance from SAP, book for EGI sessions. they called as expert guided implementations, remote support. duration might vary based on the session.
again, service report is the source, you have to review yourself, if you are in EGI, sap use that report for guiding. Please review

XYZ Service has CRM middle where and SAP ECC 6.0
XYZ Service Calls

1. All the completed calls in XYZ Service has to go in SAP automatically for validation process.
2. All call details (parameters) has to come in sap from XYZ Service to SAP like..

9. Consumption report has generate for each call wise.
10. Call wisw defective settlement( replenishment) in SAP and generate automatic loan settlement.
11. Franchisee bill claim to SAP.
12. ASC can change the disapproved calls and reprocess it again.
As for my understanding and discussions from the above requiremet,
Customer/franchisee/client....enters the request/data through the Web Application .
process from CRM and then to SAP ECC 6.0. after all the process complete details to be shown on Web Applications.
So here where exactly supposed ti implemet the XI system and little bit of confuse how and where to start from.
Please guide me to start the above mentioned and give me a break to learn and do lot of things in XI/PI.

However, as for my understanding...as the client using a legacy system for getting the information.
also The data is given on Web Application ( say via portal) and the data verified from CRM system and then processed via SAP ECC 6.0 giving the required information on the Wb Application to the client (Portal)
That means needto implement XI integration to show the complete required information on the web application.
Only this is I am not knowing how to frame this complete design and where and how exactly to stat.
Please correct me if I am wrong and if possible with the same relavent information.

SAP Business One Integration Services Authentication Failed

ALL SAP forum members,
Iam Using SAP Business One 8.81 PL 06, Micorsoft SQL 2008 R2
In SLD B1DI and JDBC, the connections were tested successfully.
Whenever I log into SBO, I am getting "SAP Business One Integration Services Authentication Failed" error message. I did extensive research on all possible SBO documents dating 1 year back especially in B1ic Troubleshooting Document (New and Old) and searched the length of the SBO forums, but I could not a solution.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the B1f package many a time. The integration services we re also restarted many times and the connections were all tested successfully. Firewall, AntiVirus also checked.
In the B1f, in the Monitoring Window, the login is "Ok" but the AuthCheck is "Failed". I checked Authent.Monitor->Authentic Info and I found the following message under Action message "Wrong Usrname and Password".
I debugged and i found again "/com.sap.b1i.vplatform.scenarios.authen/sap.Xcelsius/Authenticate_Check.bfd
But could not understand much of it.
But i could go no further. The experts are requested to suggest their solutions, If any, to me as Iam stuck in this phase for the last 3 week

And frankly speaking i dont know how it was solved. I have not uninstall, install ,not even i had restarted the server also.
only change i did in SLD >> Maintainance >>> cfg Runtime >>>> Put server IP address instead of server Name and restarted the services.

I have configured SNC on NetWeaver 7.0 (ABAP+JAVA) System on Windows 2003 Server with MS-SQL 2005 Database.
After the SNC configuration restarted the Server but the JAVA Server process is going down with EXIT Code -11113. The SNC Configuration is working fine but JAVA is not running. SDM and dispatcher are in green but server process is going gray.
I have checked the log files under C:\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log

I have configured using Kerberos library for 32 bit on Net Weaver 7.0 with MS SQL 2005 Server on Windows 2003 Server. I didnt change any thing on JAVA side. I have configured as per the Kerberos configuration steps as per below URL

To upload SH customers in Temporary table and create customers master in SAP

Hope you are doing great ---Need you help/advice on the below thought
we receive an excel file listing accounts that need to be set up as customer recipients I.E customer master in SAP system . we receive a file in the from of spread sheet and then we manually create the same in SAP system. Since this size of this indirect customers is growing day by day business has decided to automate this process
proposed solution-
1.Modify the file received from external system to format required for loading in SAP and add all the mandatory fields in the customer master
2.Load the file into a temporary tablein SAP ( transaction code)
3.verify the data and approve for actual customer creation in SAP ( create inbound idols to create customer master data in SAP)
4.check how many customers created in SAP with standard T.code
From the step 3 above the idea is to create an an inbound idoc . Debmas and etc to create the customers in SAP system .
Not sure how to go about this to achieve this functionality. I need to understand what all does it takes to see this functionality work
will be great help if any of you can forward me the technical specs or details if you have worked on the same

Hi Mohit,
I think you are mixing solutions. I think you don't need to create an inbound idoc, because this requirement could be achieve using a LSMW. Create a batch recording, use the Excel structure, even you could add the missing (necessary) fields to create the customer. By standard, the LSMW will create a temporal table and will check duplicate customers, using for example the tax number (assuming this number can't be repeated).
Another solution if you are planning to upload data directly from the source system, on this case you could use the inbound idoc.

SOAP service /sap/bc/soap/rfc/sap does not exist

I implement ABAP-Proxy to SOAP scenario.
For the receiver communication channel (SOAP Adapter) I need to put target-URL
http://<server>:8000/sap/bc/soap/rfc/sap/BAPI_MATERIAL_EXISTENCECHECK?sap-client=200.
Unfortunately the URL cannot be displayed in brwoser.
I also could not detect the appropriate SICF service sap/bc/soap/rfc/sap under tcode SICF.
Can some one help me to solve this problem?

Upgrade SM 7.0 to EhP1 - Windows service SAP SID _ inst.no does not start

Hi gurus,
I have to upgrade our Solution manager 7.0 (Windows 2003 32-bit, NW 7.0 SP15, Kernel SP185, non-unicode) to the latest SP of EhP1. I downloaded the upgrade and update guides and followed them.
1. Updated to SPAM 700 SP38.
2. Stopped the server and updated the Kernel to 32-bit non-unicode 7.01 SP69.
3. I tried to start the services SAPOSCOL and SAP<SID>_00 and both did not started sayin the application is broken and needs reinstall.
4. I downgraded to Kernel 23-bit non-unicode 7.01 SP55 and tried again - the service SAPOSCOL started but the service SAP<SID>_00 did not.
5. I downgraded to Kernel 23-bit non-unicode 7.01 SP15 and tried again - the same as with SP55.
6. I restored the original Kernel and the server started normally.
The update guide says I first should update SPAM and the Kernel and after that run SAINT to import the EhP1 components selected in MOPZ.
I found a suggestion to run SAINT import before the Kernel upgrade - should I do it?
How can I resolve the problem?

I finally found [another thread|How to Upgrade kernel 7.0 to 7.01; with similar problem solved by SAP note 684106. It solved my problem too.
I will try to continue update from the current state but will have in mind if something goes wrong your advice. I will write later for the results.

Does SAP SRM support accelarated service procurement?

Dear Guru's ,
Can you comment on if SAP SRM supports accelerated service procurement ? My client follows the below business process time to time:
While requiring to perform emergency services (which are also not high valued service), they directly create service entry sheet entering the service performed and create invoice against it in their existing MM system. They donot go for purchase creation and approval process as the effort does not justify the value of the transaction.
Now, since they are going for SAP SRM system, they want to transfer the accelerated service procurement process to SRM system as well.
Does SAP SRM support this business process i.e. creation of service entry sheet or confirmation without any reference to Purchase Order? I donot have any system to check it from myside..
