SAP Web AS version.
Hello,
anybody knows how can I check if the SAP R/3 4.7 system has Web AS installed and which is the version?
Thanks and best regards,
Matteo
Hello,
thank you very much for your answer. In the transaction SMICM the ICM status is "running", but how can I detect the Web AS version? In the transaction SICF the service "default_host->sap->bc->gui" is not installed. Does it mean that ITSMobile is not installed?
We need to do: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/46/6c39c841496a58e10000000a11466f/frameset.htm
We have SAP R/3 4.7 installation. We have to understand if we need to install other components in our SAP system. We have ITS standalone version 6200.1026.7352.5, build 927197 and we would create ITS template about standard RF transaction (eg transaction LP00). Following the list of SAP R/3 components:

WAS 6.40 version comes with NW04
WAS 7.0 version comes with NW04s(which now they are calling Netweaver 7.0)
WAS 7.1 version would be the next version
Reward if helpful

When I look at the log, it fails at some step that tried to copy UNINSAP.EXE to my local drive. It is looking at directory IM01_NT_I386/SAPINST/NT/I386/UNISAP.EXE. This is a path in the "Installation Master" DVD. However, during the intsallation, the installation wizard asked me to insert the RDBMS DVD. I don't know exactly what it means. Hello,
I got the below error during the installation process of SAP Web AS Java. Any clue what is wrong?

It seems
software components are installed but failed to start. I have about 10
steps left (most are configuration) before finish.
Thanks. Please put consistent value between the max/min heap memory together with the value of young memory (NewSize) and tenured memory.
For example:
-Xmx768m
-Xms384m
-XX:NewSize=96m

HTTPs connection from SAP WebAS
Hello,
I have to establish a connection from SAP WebAS to an iSaSiLk server via HTTPS.
The iSaSiLk authentication is based on client certificates.
I've created a SSL client PSE, generated the Certificate Request, imported the certificate response and the chain of certificates associated with no errors. When testing the connection we're getting the following error message:

From the iSaSiLk everything seems to be OK, but on the SAP WebAS the error "none of the PSEs registered with hSsl can suffice the negotiated SSL cipher suite" is really unclear, since the cipher chosen by the iSaSiLk is one of the ciphers sent by SAP WebAS...
Can anyone give me any suggestion?Hello Olivier,

An iSaSiLk server "is a Java programming language implementation of the SSLv2 (client-side), SSLv3, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols. It supports all defined cipher suites (except for Fortezza), including all AES and PSK cipher suites. iSaSiLk implements all standard TLS extensions, comes with an easy to use API and operates on top of the IAIK-JCE Javau2122 Cryptography Extension. iSaSiLk is highly configurable and will work with any alternative JCE implementation supported by a proper provider for supplying the required cryptographic algorithms".
Once again thanks for your answer. -
SAP WEB AS 6.40 Export CDs (3)
Hello there,
I am trying to re-install R/3 Enterprise. However, to the part "Checking Software Packages" for installation of "DB Instance", it asks me for "SAP Web AS 6.40 Export CD 1/3". I currently have Web AS 6.20.
I couldn't find them from "SAP Market Place". Is Web AS 6.40 Export currently Beta version or already out?
Anyone please tell me where I can get it from.
Thank you very much.
thaiba.Hello Thaiba,
what I've found at http://service.sap.com/swdc -> Installations and Upgrades -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP NETWEAVER 04 -> Installation & Upgrade
-> OS -> DB was:
DVD SAP NetWeaver 04 SR1 Installation Export
I think that is it.

could you please tell me which exact SAP DB version you want to install? That's important in this case, because within version 7.3 there's a switch (from a certain Build level) of the SAP DB Installer (used by the sdbinst program).
Additionally, please send me installation protocol of sdbinst, located in the directory C:\sapdb\data\wrk. The name of the file will look something like this:

Please suggest me some solution.
Thanks
sandeepDear all,
my issue is resolved.I solved my issue myself
solution: SAP sends HTTP request in the form of URL like
http://serverip:port/GET /Default.aspx?serverInfo&pVersion=0045&contRep=FD HTTP/1.0
Now your response should contain string contRep="FD"
dont forget double quotes on repository name coz SAP program matches string with double quotes. if you will return value like this contRep=FD
this will through error.
Thanks

Cannot see data in SAP.Web.UI.Controls.Table
Hi,I have created a portal project and dragged a sap table into the design area. then i call a webservice and bind the resulting dataset to the table. the dataset seems to bind, since i can see there are the right number of pages in the table, but i cannot see any of the data. all the rows are blank. am i treating the ascx file correctly? i deploy and browse to test it.

any assistance would be highly appreciated.Hi,
The problem is that the SAP table doesn't support this kind of "dynamic binding" at the moment. The SAP table can contain any one of several controls in each cell, and these controls have several possible properties to bind to. So currently you have to "tell" the table what you want to bind to.
You have several options:
1. The easiest option, if you can create a typed dataset in design-time, according to what your webservice returns, then do that... and then put an instance of it on your portal component, and bind your table to that typed dataset (using the designer property grid). This should create a default ItemTemplate with all textViews in the cells, and the texts will be bound to the columns.
2. Write code in ItemCreated Event handler of the table. This event will be raised for each row in the DS. There you can tell the cells to get the data from the content. Remember that you'd have to create the cells according to the number of columns and set the content of each cell to be what control you want (like TextView) and then fill the properties of that control.
3. If you know the Data structure, but don't want to or can't create a typed DataSet - First define the columns using the designer (right click the table, select "edit columns"). Then in the event handler (from "2") just set the property "text" of each TextView which is in the content of each cell (use the Cell's property "TableCellContent" to get to the TextView control)
4. Don't use databinding and create the table contents completely manually (See here -
How to modify cells in a table?)
One last thing, here's a link to some more explanations about DataBinding in SAP controls:
https://media.sdn.sap.com/html/submitted_docs/PDK_for_dotNET_10/Programming%20with%20PDK%20for%20.NET/SAP%20NetWeaver%20.NET%20Controls/Data%20Binding/Complex%20Data%20Binding.htm
If you choose a solution and need more help, just ask.

Query Service in SAP WEB AS 6.20
Hello everybody,
I want to use Object Services at a SAP WEB AS 6.20 system. In the SAP help documents I have read that a Query Service is part of that Object Service. Generating a Persistence Class and the Class Actor (CA-Class) at a WEB AS 6.20 System I cannot find this Query Service. There is no method called IF_OS_CA_PERSISTENCY~GET_PERSISTENT_BY_QUERY in the Class Actor (CA-Class).
Is there a possibility to add this service to version 6.20?
At SAP WEB AS 7.0 the Query Service is available.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks and Regards,
GeorgHi Reiner! Thanks for your reply!
- I want to create a secure connection between the .NET client and the SAP Web AS 6.20 Web Service, and HTTPS would be great. Is there any documentation regarding this issue?
- No, I don't want to provide the result of a Web Service as a Web Service. Maybe I was quite unclear... :/ What I meant was:
I want my Web Service to return a table (the result comes in the structure of a table). How do I define the Out-parameter in transaction se37 to accomplish this? Right now the best solution I got was to construct an array of strings (like the ZZVALUES int array in the example) where each position of the array, is a string that has the various fields of the table i want to return concatenated.
I'm able to retrieve the array in Visual Studio .NET 2003 client, and separate the fields (to fill a table again with them). If I could just return the table from SAP and receive it in .NET would be much more simpler.
Thanks again. -
SAP.Web.Security.TicketException: MYSAP_INVALID
We recently updated our portal to the following:
J2EE Engine 6.40 PatchLevel 108290.313
Portal 6.0.20.0.0
Previously sap.web.security dll worked fine but now I get this exception
SAP.Web.Security.TicketException: MYSAP_INVALID
I have tried all the suggestions in this forum and nothing works. Does anyone have the orginal source code for this dll or a working solution ?
the following code does get the ticket if I remove the handler from the web.config.....
Dim cookieString As String = HttpUtility.UrlDecode((Request.Cookies("MYSAPSSO2").Value).Replace("!", "%2B"))
Dim ticket As SAP.Web.Security.MySapSso2Ticket = New SAP.Web.Security.MySapSso2Ticket("verify.pse", cookieString)
Dim objUsr As SAP.Web.Security.MySAPSso2Identity = New SAP.Web.Security.MySAPSso2Identity(ticket, cookieString)
so why does the handler fail ? driving me crazy.Ok so I added the code to the wiki in the attachment area. Hopefully Wiki mods don't delete it. This works perfectly for our purposes and config.

For our environment, I copied the iss6_sso.dll (for IIS 6) and the verify.properties files into the "inetpubscripts" directory. (There is a "verify.properties" file attached tot the source for your reference). Note the reference to a verify.pse file in the 'verify.properties' file. Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web.Extensions, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)
I have installed the Crystal Reports Runtime but to no avail. I would appreciate if someone could give me some help. Below is the source of the form containing the viewer

</configuration>Note the error is re. 'System.Web.Extensions' which is a Microsoft framework dll. I would suggest:
1) repair of the .NET installation
2) update the framework with the latest SP
3) see if you can crate a new app - without Crystal Reports using the 'System.Web.Extensions' assembly
4) see if you can create a new app using Crystal Reports (One line app using saved data report will do; crystalreportviewer1.reportsource = <path>)
5) Download the latest CR SP. As you don not mention what version of CR you are using, see if you can find the SP in our downloads section:
