/SAPAPO/OM17 Planning version 01PLV0000001~user only in LiveCache

Hi,
I am running SCM5.0 and while checking consitency of LiveCache and DB in /SAPAPO/OM17 I get error /SAPAPO/OM_SYNC002
planning version in LiveCache only.
How could I fix this problem? What does it mean?
In SAP there is only planning version 000 known.

Hi,
my sap message I opened additionally was answered!
Planning versions like 01PLV0000001~user are generated test data (from transaction /SAPAPO/OM17) which does not exist in database. These versions can be corrected, no productive data will bedeleted.

Currently, only version 0 is used for actuals and plan. Again this year we have used version 0 for cost center planning, profit center planning and also COPA planning. The user community would like to create a new version for COPA planning only to upload new data. Can I have a different plan version # for COPA only for this year? If so, how do I do that? Does it impact the other areas of planning?

HR Org Replication into different plan version in SRM

Dear SRM Gurus,
I have an org plan in HR (Plan Version 01) which I want to replicate into a newly created plan version "EL" in SRM. But this at the moment is not my "current plan version". So only after replication is successfully I want to change "current plan version" in SRM from "01" to "EL".
Question: is there any place where I can decide, into which SRM plan version I want to replicate my HR Org-Plan into?

You can implement this badi HRALE00OUTBOUND_IDOC and set dummy addresses. Or put a filter at the model view for the infotype 0006

if u see first pass state options, it gives only two options(promote,approve) but for other states it give >2 options so they must have put some condition on first pass state by restricting it to two options only.
do u have any idea in which table this condition has been put so that i can restrict it further to 1 option only.

Plan version locked for certain users

Customizing: Controlling / general controlling / organizaion / maintain versions:
Choose the version you want to work with, tick "controlling area settings" and in the rigth screen, scroll to the right until you view the field "AUGR".
Read F1-help for this field and contact the authorization responsible to go on with that.

I am searching for this exit in APO-DP.I have a requirement where we CIF master data (location) from SAP R/3 to SAP APO.However the location are saved in default planning version/model ( ie 000) I need to save these locations in another planning version and I am looking for an appopriate user exit/BADI which can accomplish this.

Hello Gurus -
I have a few questions in planning version management. Appreciate if you can help me out.
Scenario: I have some planning data in the active version 000 and I have used "/SAPAPO/VERCOP - Copy Planning Version" to create a new version 001. Now I have the same data in both 000 and 001.
Then I went on to change some planning data in 001 to do my what if analysis and I arrived at a final plan which I want to see in 000.
Question: How do I do this? Since we cannot just copy it back to 000. Do we have to replan it in 000? Or do I have to delete the existing 000 and then copy/create 001>000? How is this normally done?

I am copying order series data, so I would be using the merge functionality. However the help document says :
SNP orders are not permitted to be published directly into the SAP R/3 system. Communication with the SAP R/3 system is only permitted to take place using the Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) component. The system performs a technical check of the corresponding Customizing for this.
It is not permitted for any releases to be made into or out of SNP until all the planning versions that came from an active version have been copied back into this active version.
AND when I tried to copy my simulation version results back into the active version, system does not let me do it and gives a message " Function not possible because of transfer to OLTP systems" and says I should try avoiding transfer to OLTP system.
But I do need to transfer the Preqs(both SNP and Deoplyment and POs from TLB) to R/3 and my SPRO settings for " Configure Transfer to OLTP System" is setup in such a way that I transfer all output of SNP/DEP/TLB to R/3.
Any idea what could be done here?

Planning Areas - No initialized Planning Version(s) exists

Hi,
Recently our SCM system was upgraded from SCM 4.0 system to SCM 5.0. After the upgrade I find in /sapapo/msdp_admin the planning areas in status red with message "No initialized Planning Version(s) exists". If I check the planning area it says "No errors found when checking the planning area".
Please help. How to initialize a planning version. I am new to SCM.

When I try to Create Time Series Objects for a Planning Area from /sapapo/msdp_admin
I get the error "Master planning object structure 9ADPBAS is inactive".
Then I tried to activate the planning object structure 9ADPBAS from /sapapo/msdp_admin but I get "Error occured during activation". I do not find any log also. The long text shows as below.

Procedure
For detailed information, see the corresponding log; a log is only created if logging has been switched on. You switch on the application log from the main screen for editing planning object structures under Extras -> Log on/off.

Hi Pawan,
I guess you could create a model, but no planning version?
If so: create the planning version with the transaction /SAPAPO/VERCREATE and not with /SAPAPO/MVM (after having created a model). I don't know the reason, but I also could only create a planning version with the VERCREATE transaction.

Plan versions Authorisations in Controlling

How can I gave authorisations on plan version 1 for Cost Center Planning, if we have 16 versions of plan (0-15) ?
Wich is the Object of Authorisation that I need in this case?
The reason is that: the users with Role of Cost Planning should have access at planning transactions only for version 1.

The authorization object is K_KA09_KVS.
If You search for SAP notes You should find enough additional information for this.
There is an additional field to be maintained in transaction OKEV->if You have
the overview screen with all version scroll this screen to the right and check the
F1-help on field "Authorization Group".

I have discovered that my question above is a non-question. A user triggered by looking at the below article about Illustrator 2014 cc 17.0.2

He had recently upgraded from wht we now know is 18.0 to 18.1 which is the latest version. He read the above artic
le and supposed that it was a bug fix release for his version - because the v17 ov18 number is not often displayed. It is usually just 2014 CC.
I have asked him to post a bug report about Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.1

However, this is documented in the Known Issues section of the Smart View 11.1.2.1 readme and could be worth a try:
When you try to open a Planning web form in Smart View through Workspace, you may get this error: “Web launch operation has been cancelled.” This happens if Essbase has not been added as a server in Shared Connections. Workaround: Open the Smart View Panel in Smart View and add an Essbase server as described in the online help or "Adding Essbase Servers" in chapter 2 of the Smart View User's Guide.

Actual and Plan Versions annual view - Multiple versions per company code

Good Day,
Iu2019m creating an FI-CO query with an annual view of both Actuals and Plan Values, which uses period and version as input values. The dilemma is around the plan versions which are hardcoded per company codes (eg. 1 Company Code = versions 501 u2013 512)
Can anyone suggest a possible solutions as normally there is only one version used for planning but in this instance there are multiple versions per Company Code.
Currently the report is hardcoded for one Company Code and going forward it should cater for more than one(Company Company* 12 Version)

Remove restriction on comp code. There could be 2 models.
1. Include comp code, value type and version in the rows. This way you get multiple records for a comp code. One record for actual data and one record each for plan versions. To have this model at the query, the data model in the cube also should be in this way (what we call as the account model), multiple records differentiated into actual/plan by valuetype and different versions by version.
2. Include comp code in rows. Create selections, one for actuals (restrict with key fig and value type 10, actuals), one for each plan versions (restrict key fig with value type 20, version 501. Create one selection for each version this way). This way we have one record per comp code with diff key fig for actual and plan versions. We call this as key fig model. To have this model at the query, the data model in the cube could be account model or key fig model. If it is key fig model then no need of selections. The key fig could be taken directly from the cube.

Plan versions are scenarios in which you can create organizational plans.
==>In the plan version which you have flagged as the active plan version, you create your current valid organizational plan. This is also the integration plan version which will be used if integration with Personnel Administration is active.
==>You use additional plan versions to create additional organizational plans as planning scenarios.
But Only one plan version will be active at any time !!!
As a rule, a plan version contains one organizational structure, that is, one root organizational unit. It is, however, possible to create more than one root organizational unit, that is more than one organizational structure in a plan version.
