Hi Jan,
a guess: you used the applocking-service and did not add a reference in your application-j2ee-engine.xml? You might want to have a look at the [applocking help page|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/fe/07a73acc03054f8d9fcaf3380b7bce/frameset.htm].

Class not found during deployment
I'm getting "class not found during deserialization of descriptor" during deployment of an EJB. What does this mean?
The problem is I am trying to use JavaMail in an EJB and it gives me the error if I create a javax.mail.Session. If I comment out the Session, deployment is fine. I am thinking that maybe the problem is I am using 8i version 8.1.5 and it only supports java 1.1.8.

Class not found during deserialization of descriptor UserSession
I am using JDeveloper 3.1.1.2 (build 767) to deploy an EJB to Oracle 8.1.6 and I get the following error message....
Generating EJBHome and EJBObject on the server...
Class not found during deserialization of descriptor UserSession
*** Errors occurred while deploying the EJB to JServer ***
*** Deployment completed ***
I've tried
a) to deploy all the classes in the project,
b) create a new project step by step,
c) use 'deployejb' and I still get the same error...
Can anyone help? Thanks.Yep, JDeveloper auto generates the <>.ejb and it is a binary file.
Seems a pretty specific error message....any help available from the JDev team?? -
BBP_PO_SEND_XML - Not triggered during the creation of PO
Hi All,
We are using SRM 7.0, configuration for sending PO in the form of XML is done as suggested with the method BBP_PO_SEND_XML. The problem is, this BADI is not triggered when we save (even after order) the PO with XML option and the status is displayed as Incorrectly processed. But, when I select the Incorrectly processed output type and click on Repeat Output, the BADI is called and is processed succesfully.
Any reasons, why the BADI is not triggered during the creation or change of PO and is getting triggered only when we select the option Repeat Output? Please help me in correcting this issue.
Thanks,
Phani.Logic inside META_PO_SEND was written in user name check. Whereas the method BBP_PO_SEND_XML is triggered with batch user. Due to this reason, custom logic is not triggered.

I have googled through the error and tried to re-register the scrrun.dll using regsvr32 eventhogh it is successfully registered, i am getting the following error. My PC is windows 7 32bit OS.
any help is greatly appreciated. The following script class will write a log file entry. See if it will run for you.
The script is using a class object that you might not have seen before. A little intro: The top section is just for testing the class. Normally I just comment this out after the class is working well. It should run right way. I would save the vbs file in the editor, That way when you are using autoactpath or currentscriptpath variables they will be able resolve the paths.

File not found during installation (WinXP)
Well, I downloaded Oracle 11g for Windows (32 bit) from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/index.html, and, basically, after having had some trouble configuring a new database, I selected the option to (simply) install a database through the wizard. I breezed through the settings, and, ran the installation wizard, however, some files seem not to be available within \win32_11gR2_database_1of2\database, or perhaps my laptop (Amilo Pro 8210) is too slow to be able to read these files.
The errors show up during Setting up Oracle Database 11g 11.2.0.10. The errors showing up within the UI are as follows:
File not found F:\app\Jon\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin\db2gc
File not found F:\app\Jon\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\oc4j\OC4J_DBConsole\config\system-application.xml
File not found F:\app\Jon\product\11.2.0\db_home_1\oc4j\j2ee\OC4j_DBConsole\config\system-jazn-data.xml
NOTE: It is quite painful that there is no functionality to enable me to upload attachments (e.g. screenshots and log files) because it is very time consuming to copy everything manually, and, it is human nature to get bored typing after a while, so please, Oracle, pimp this profile :~) I did not take exhaustive screenshots, the error log files shows quite a few exceptions as well:

Your imagination is not limited, my friend. I have already told you that I have unzipped the folders, and, it is not the scope of this forum to have myself insulted in this manner.
Seriously, one expects forum members to be respectful rather than talk garbage about manuals, I was only asking for help, because I thought that files were missing from the installation pack.
I might be your next client for all you know.

No offence was intended - it was merely a tongue-in-cheek observation. If you read my previous two replies in this thread, they are courteous to a fault - as are all my posts.
The forums are a volunteer organization - people take time out from their personal and professional lives to help others. Some folks, thankfully a very small minority, use the forums as a free personal support/helpdesk tool to read all the documentation on their behalf and look up or solve things on their behalf. The forums work best when there is real dialogue and exchange of information, rather than monosyllabic answers and mudslinging.
Good luck with your install

There are two things I observer here.
1. The ResourceAdapter class does not seem to be found by Weblogic. It's part of the javax.resource.spi package.
I checked the weblogic.jar archive in the WL-HOME/server/lib folder. It does not seem to have the class. Why ?
2. It complains about the ManagedConnectionFactory not being found. Am assuming that if the RA was deployed
in the first place, I would not have seen this error (coz, the ManagedConnectionFactory would have been
deployed in the previous step). Right ?
I did observe that WL 7.0 supports only JCA 1.0. In JCA 1.0's (public) API, there is no mention of the
javax.resource.spi.ResourceAdapter class, though the spec talks about it. ??
Note: I had designed and implemented my RA as per JCA 1.5 (but nothing 1.5-specific, I guess).
Any ideas ?
thanks,
raghu
I figured it out. Darn simple.
My ManagedConnectionFactory implementation referenced ResourceAdapter as
it has to implement the ManagedConnnectionFactory interface of JCA 1.5.
In JCA 1.0 (which is supported by WL 7.0 & 8.1), the ResourceAdapater
is undefined. Hence, the classloading problem.
Sorry for any confusion.

Tax Code Creation when Excise is not Known during PO creation
Hi,
Scenario: Dealer's Scenario where during PO creation we don't know excise Amount and we consider PO price to include excise. Apart from excise we have CST. Excise and CST both will be inventorised.
Example: PO = 5000 (Inclusive of excise) on which CST is 1 % = 50
Now during MIGO I apply MRP tick which Splits PO base value and excise. Say 1000 is excise out of 5000.
GRN should be of 5050 ideally but the ISSUE is system posts it for 5060 Rs i.e on 1000 again system calculates CST 1% and adds it during GRN.
Can anyone suggest what could be the reason for same and how to resolve it ? Is there anything with tax code creation, tax procedure or MM pricing procedure ???
Br, DeeptiHi Deepti,
Creation of Purchase order inclusive of Excise Duty. @ 5000/- .
2. The Duties should be Inventories. But you cannot show actual Duties at time of PO.
In FV11, maintain 0% for Inventory Duty conditions. Maintain 100% for Inventory Total conditions and also maintain CST condition.
Display Taxes
3. In MIGO Base will default as PO Price, We will change it to Actual as per vendors Invoice also Enter BED,Ecs,Seces as per Invoice. Do NOT tick MRP indicator.
4.Accounting Entry for GRN

JRE not found during 9i installation
Hello guys,
I know this is not the right section to post installation errors. However, this is more of a cofiguration error during the time of setting up Oracle 9i on RHEL 4 enviroment.
I am trying to install Oracle 9i R2 on RHEL 4.. on HP ProLiant DL380 G5
All the rpms and packages seem to be in place, and i dont think that there are any failed dependencies.
I have also downloaded JRE 6 and installed it, it was a .bin file and it got extracted on the desktop itself... However I also installed SDK 6.
But while i want to install oracle 9i after issuing the command ./runInstaller
I recieve this error.
[oracle@ssdcl308 Disk1]$ The Java RunTime Environment was not found at F/bin/java. Hence, the Oracle Universal Installer cannot be run.
Please visit http://www.javasoft.com and install JRE version 1.3.1 or higher and try again.
: No such file or directory
I fail to understand what F/bin/java stands for.. meaning "F".
There is no partition or drive or any folder with the name F.
However i do see java installed at /usr/local/
This is my .bash_profile
unset USERNAME
ORACLE_BASE=/u01/app/oracle; export ORACLE_BASE
ORACLE_HOME=$ORACLE_BASE/product/9.2.0; export ORACLE_HOME

ORACLE_SID=ssdcl308; export ORACLE_SID
LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19; export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL
TMP=/tmp; export TMP
TMPDIR=$TMP; export TMPDIR
I am unable to resolve this issue, I will provide more relevant info once asked.
Regards
nullWell i just added
export PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/bin:/usr/local:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/local/java
yet i get the same error.
Am i missing something here??
Is it something to do with the "F" thing at F/usr/local

I'm attempting to recompile JPilot against the latest GTK2 pacman just installed, and I get this error during configure:
checking for GTK+ - version >= 2.0.3... no
*** Could not run GTK+ test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK+ is incorrectly installed.

I'm not sure I understand why it can't find the proper version of GTK. Here's what I have installed:
[root@tux jpilot]# pacman -Q gtk gtk2
gtk 1.2.10-4
gtk2 2.6.3-1ralvy wrote:Ah, okay. I did look around in various places and couldn't find where all the pkgconfig settings came from. I did a set command and saw a bunch of them. I looked in root's bashrc and bash_profile, but couldn't find them. Do you know where they're set in Arch?
check the scripts in /etc/profile.d/
some packages have their own PKG_CONFIG_PATH - KDE and Gnome do IIRC -
[SOLVED] pacman error: database not found (during an install)
i am trying to install an app
when installing
# pacman -S /path/to/dir/app.tar.gz

when i look inside the tar, theres only one file, app.bin
im sure its some fundamental that im missing. so i have to makepkg first , or am i missing a command during the intallation, or is the file broken?

Oracle10g 32bit lib files not found during Install
Hi All,
During my installation of Oracle 10g on HP-UX11.11, I have found that Installer could not found required 32bit lib files in ORAHOME/lib32
folder. But I have completed all the prerequisit tasks as per the Oracle manual.
1)ORAHOME/lib32/libocci.sl.10.1 not found
2)ORAHOME/lib32/libhsdb.sl not found
3)ORAHOME/lib32/libttsh10.sl
4)ORAHOME/lib32/libxml10.a not found
also other ".mk" files in sysman/lib32 not found.
can anybody advice me what may be the possible errors for this.
Regards,
AbhinavHi Gustavo,
I have downloaded the Oracle 10g software from Oracle website. .cpio files are copied on my hard disc. I have extracted .cpio files i.e Disk1 & Disk2.
I have installed all the patches+java 1.4 patches+ June03GOLDQPACK+XMotifDev
I have not installed HP C,C++-ANSI compiler.
This is the scenario. still having errors for 32 bit libs. OUI says 32bit libs not found
in /ORAHOME/lib32 folder.

Some things I've tried -
[tharriso@localhost libdbusmenu]$ pkg-config --modversion gnome-doc-utils
Package gnome-doc-utils was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gnome-doc-utils.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'gnome-doc-utils' found
[tharriso@localhost libdbusmenu]$ pacman -Q gnome-doc-utils
gnome-doc-utils 0.20.10-1
Found a few results on Google where people mention the same error with a different package, but haven't found any solutions.

Report Variant Not Found During Transport
A user has requested a routine change (adding a purchase group) to a report variant.
According to our procedures, I have gone into our Development system and changed the report variant to include the new purchasing group. I have then created a transport referencing this report and variant.
However, when I release the transport I get a warning that...
LIMU VARX REPORTNAME VARIANTNAME not found, object also deleted in target system
Application help states that it is a Message no. TW 330
The transport goes through to our production system, but no changes are made. It is essentially an empty transport.
I have done this type of change before to numerous report variants without any issues, and other request of this nature continue to go through without problems. Any idea why this might be happening, and how it can be resolved?
Thanks - points will be rewarded.Same problem once I face.
I transported one variant name and after that name changed and again transported.
It is not showing new variant name so we executed program and
Goto->variant and overwrite the previous one.
Reward if useful...
