SAPBi EventsSender.exe error with restart server

Hi Experts,
I have a client who only runs standard SBO with no Add-ons. They also do not have any intergration with other systems, SBO's or R3.
When they restart their server they get a error message that relates to the 'SAPBi EventsSender.exe' file. The error says: 'The instruction at "0x6d748603" referenced memory at "0x0000000c". The memory could not be read'
Any help would be appreciated.

Marli,
I am not sure if the error is referring to the SAP B1i (integration) Event Sender Service.  What you can check is open the SAP Business One Service Manager and check to see if you have an option called "SAP Business One Event Sender Service".  If you do and are not using SAP Business One Integration for SAP NetWeaver (B1i), make sure that the "Start when operating system starts" is not checked as well as make sure the "Enable Business One Integration Services" is also not checked.
Hope that helps,
Eddy

  • Problem: VSS error with 'SQL Server Backup to Windows Azure Tool' installed

When 'SQL Server Backup to Windows Azure Tool' is installed, shadow copies cannot be enable and backups fail.  When attempting to enable shadow copies, we get a "volsnap" error:  "The shadow copies of volume X were aborted because
of a failed free space computation".  After uninstalling the "Tool", VSS works.  Reinstalling "Tool" causes the problem to return.
While the error suggests a space issue, there is plenty of space on the server's two volumes.  Additionally, another 100GB volume was added and VSS storage was allocated to it; still received the error.
Issue seems to point to 'SQL Server Backup to Windows Azure Tool'.
Environment:  Hyper-V guest:  "Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard" with "SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard".  Using "Azure Storage" for SQL backups.
    Suggestions?

    Hello,
Yes, we have a confirmed interference between the tool and the VSS Framework. This was identified very recently and is under investigation by the product group. Since the issue is within the filter driver shipped by the tool, that unfortunately means that
you currently need to choose between the tool and a working VSS Framework. If the latter is more important, then uninstall the tool (that will require a restart).
We apolologize for the inconvenience. I'm going to try to get the home page of the tool updated to avoid other situations like yours. Hopefully we should see a new version of the tool soon.
As a side note, recent versions of SQL Server can directly use Azure Storage as backup target, see
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj919148(v=sql.110).aspx.

    I'm having the same problem.
One potential solutions is to use a custom SQL server JDBC driver instead of going through the ODBC bridge. This will minimize dependencies and should also improved performance. Hope this helps.

  • A fatal error with Windows Server Backup

    Hey,
I'm trying to backup my Windows Server 2008 R2 (physical server). Windows Server Backup tool crashes when I start to start it. It gives me error "A fatal error occurred during a Windows Server Backup snap-in (Wbadmin.msc) operation. Error details: The

These devices (disks) that are showing in warnings arent initialized from Disk Management. If I open Disk Management, it always pops up prompt to initialize disks. I havent initialized these disks cause I already have them in use, but Windows regonizes those
disks twice cause I'm using multipath. I shouldnt initialize one physical disk twice.
I think seeing these disks twice is crashing my Windows Server Backup. Is there a way to disable specific disks for Windows Server Backup? Can I disable those disks somehow, so Windows Server Backup wouldnt see those disks twice? Or can I somehow tell Windows
that its seeing my disks twice, and there is actually only one disk instead of two.
    Greetings,

    Hi,
How did you configure the disks by using multipath? The ASR component is a system-critical component that is reported by the ASR writer. Every fixed disk on the computer is exposed as a component in ASR. During backup, the requester should include all fixed
    disks.

  • Versioning Error with SQL Server JDBC Driver

    Hi,
I wrote a simple class for inserting rows into a database. The database is SQL Server 2000, and I am using weblogic's mssqlserver4 driver. The class works fine, but when I try to export the class as a remote object (using Sun's RMI implementation, not Weblogic RMI), I get the following error:
Exception in thread "main" weblogic.common.internal.VersioningError: No WebLogic packages defined in CLASSPATH at weblogic.common.internal.VersionInfo.<init>(VersionInfo.java:35) at weblogic.version.<clinit>(version.java:18)

Can anyone tell me why this happens? What is difference between using the driver standalone and using it with RMI? Does it have anything to do with the fact that I'm using Javasoft RMI and not Weblogic RMI? I'm pretty sure I have the classpaths set up correctly.
    Thanks,

  • Checkin error with sql server as backend database

    Hello,
I get regulary the following error messages (attached as screenshot) when I'm try to checkin my current model.
The message states, that my database is in single user mode, but this isn't the case. I checked the many times.
My repository database is a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 SP3 64 Bit Enterprise Edition. Are there any known issues with this database?
With PowerDesigner 16.1 I didn't have such issues.
    kind regards
    Christian

    Hi Christian,
The error message is not referring to your database.
Within PowerDesigner, PD, some 'Unexpected Exceptions' are not really an issue (a true exception).
Here is an explanation for the error you are encountering:
PD has found that something potentially wrong happened with an action selection in the merge dialog. A single user has been the only one to work on the model, but the actions were not all selected by default (which is unexpected).
So PD decided by itself to select all the actions anyway.
The PD developers created this dialog to be a warning about this condition in order for it to be analyzed further if required.
Using the Comparison Legend from the Merge window:
[-+] object present only in model in the left pane (deletion for the merge dialog)
The action in question is now selected:
    [-+]<Trigger> CompoundDeleteTrigger _adm_prepare_load
If you would like to pursue this further, a copy of the local model and a copy of the model already in the repository would be needed for review.
    Regards,
    Anthony

When I cause a database access within my application, I get the following horrifying result. It's the "Error Establishing Socket" error that's worrying me, as I'm using the native Microsoft SQL Server Drivers. The ones in my lib directory are msutil.jar, msutil.jar, and mssqlserver.jar
    Any thoughts?

    You can check two things
    1. Whether the ports to the database server are blocked by a fire wall.
    2. And more simpler and most probably the case here, you can try to findout if you can see the database server from the webserver. i.e. ping the database server from a console in the webserver.

i have installed Sun DS 6.3 on tw0 linux machines, and i had an replication for both of them, when i restart the server instance i get the below error, can anyone tell what would it be.
Schema - conn=-1 op=-1 msgId=-1 - User error: Entry "cn=schema", attribute "attribute" is not allowed

  • 902 Error with IMAP server?

I keep getting this error message with my primary e-mail address in Mail:
"The following alerts are from the IMAP server for “XXXXXXXXX”:
902 That mail is not currently available."
(Note:  "XXXXXXXXXX" is actually my e-mail address name.)
An icon appears next to that e-mail account in question in the Mail sidebar (an exclamation point inside a triangle within a circle).
I can still send and receive mail, but I'd like to know why this error keeps popping up so frequently.
Does anyone know what this erroe means?
    Thanks.

    I'm having the same problem.
One potential solutions is to use a custom SQL server JDBC driver instead of going through the ODBC bridge. This will minimize dependencies and should also improved performance. Hope this helps.

  • ERROR with X server [urgent]

    Hi friends,
[Using: Oracle Aplications 11.5.7 and DB 8.1.7]
I've just finishing a clonning process and almost everything works OK except one thing:
The X server in Database (I think)
After cloning, I've run the AOLJTEST and checked all the links, even the XServer that showed the message: X Server is accessible.
But, when I entered inside Applications, I tried to execute a request which run a report with images and it appeared an error in the log screen:
REP-3000: Internal Error starting Oracle Toolkit
I've read a lot in Metalink and in the forum about it and I've reviewed lot of files in my system, but I can't find the error.
I supossed It's in relation with the DISPLAY environment variable... but I don't know where to seek...
In the source system (from where I've done the clone process) It works OK so... the error must be in some of the initialization parameters/files/scripts that have been created in the process.
echo $DISPLAY in source system (both nodes, DB and WEB) and in Target system gives the same result:
    :1
    The files I've reviewed are:
    - In /u01/erpbat/aeacomn/admin/scripts/MySID_WEBMachine/adrepctl.sh
    I have:
    DISPLAY="DBMachine:1.0"
    export DISPLAY
    - In /u01/erpbat/aeacomn/admin/scripts/MySID_WEBMachine/adcmctl.sh
I have too the same value
    - In /u01/erpbat/aeaora/iAS/Apache/Jserv/etc/jserv.properties
    I have:
    wrapper.env=DISPLAY=WEBMachine:1.0
    - In
    /u01/erpbat/aeadb/8.1.7/appsutil/%.xml
    I have:
    <oa_environment type="generic_service">
    <DISPLAY oa_var="s_display" osd="unix">DBMachine:1.0</DISPLAY>
    </oa_environment>
and for the Application Server Node:
    <oa_environment type="generic_service">
    <DISPLAY oa_var="s_display" osd="unix">WEBMachine:1.0</DISPLAY>
    </oa_environment>
What more files I need to see??
Any ideas ? (I hope not to need execute autoconfig.. because my customer requirements...)
(I've tried to execute xclock with root and applmgr users but without success.. I don't know how it could affect..)
    I've read the following notes:
Note: 153960.1 (FAQ: X Server testing and troubleshooting)
Note: 113443.1 (Configure and Test an X Server for Running X Windows Applications)
Note: 340949.1 (How to set environment variable DISPLAY for Oracle Applications to use xserver of another machine)

    Thanks a lot
    Jose.

    Jose,
Try using a DISPLAY port higher than 0 or 1, which are usually special DISPLAY ports reserved by the host system I have Xvfb configured on port 50, and ar60desb and bitmapped reports are running fine. Note 181244.1 also references additional parameters that need to be passed for Xvfb:
    # Get a security policy file
A sample security policy file is included at the end of this document. The file is named SecurityPolicy.
If you have an existing file then add this line to the end of the policy file:
    property WM_CHANGE_STATE WM_NAME ar
    # Find the "fixed" font
The fixed font is a standard part of X11 distributions and is typically found in the directory
    <X server installation directory>/lib/X11/fonts/misc
    # To run Xvfb use a command with the following format
    Xvfb :x -screen 0 6x6x8 -pn -fp <X install dir>/lib/X11/fonts/misc -sp /tmp/SecurityPolicy
Here is what I am using. The paths to fonts/misc and SecurityPolicy may be different for your OS.
    nohup /usr/bin/X11/Xvfb :50 -screen 0 1024x800x8 -pn -fp /usr/share/fonts/misc/ -sp /usr/lib/xserver/SecurityPolicy &
    export DISPLAY=host.domain:50.0
    /usr/bin/xhost +
    nohup /usr/bin/mwm &
I am also using the fully qualified hostname in the DISPLAY variables in the Xvfb startup script and the $CONTEXT_FILE. Maybe your /etc/hosts is not quite right. It should be IP longname shortname.

    Hi,
I`m new in this, so I need your help please with SAP, we have a problem, this happened the last 2 mondays, we have the SAP R3 v4.7.c with SGeSAP B04.01 in a cluster on a HP-UX 11i V2, in a package is running the database and the central instance and in another 2 hosts is running the applications, all conected by nfs. This appears in the package log, but the problem is not on the net or in the nfs server, some people tell us that might be a parameter in the sapms.mon, the MSMON_RFC_TIMEOUT..but we don't be sure..it seems that the message server lost conection with something but I don't know how works the Message Server, is strange that this happen only one day in the week so I think that there is another variable that produce this error..
any idea??? Can I see another file? or log? I don't know what can we do..
    Thanks a lot!

    hi
Since you are indeed working with the depreciation area for 'special reserve', the arithmatic for this derived depreciation area would be ideally tax depreciation area - book depreciation area.
kindly confirm if this the arithmatic used for your depreciation area 03.
if this is not the case please let me know the arithmatic used for the derived depreciation area 03.
    thanks
