SAPBobsCOM.dll and  windows 64 bits

When i try to connect to sap using di api, i have a exception:
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {632F4591-AA62-4219-8FB6-22BCF5F62007} failed due to the following error: 80040154
I have a web service on windows 64 bits and  I have reinstalled di api

Hello
When you compile your application, you must use x86 type as target CPU. reason: B1 and SDK components are running in 32 bit mode under x64 machines. x64 application cannot communicate x86 applications in .COM components. Your addon is compiled to x64, and the DI API is x86 compiled.
This is the reason why you receice error message,
Also nice, if you give the directirve Win32 = True to the compiler when you build you appliaction.

  • Quicktime and Windows 64-bit OSs

    Hello,
Does anybody know how to get Quicktime to show the control bars on an web video when the OS is Windows and it is 64-bit.
I have tried in XP 64-bit, Vista 64-bit and 7 64-bit, but all I get is the first picture in the video, no controls to get it to start.
    Thanks

The bars never show up in 64bit Vista with QT 7.6.4. They do show up in 7.6.6 but 7.6.6 has some play issues that have not been resolved yet.

  • Cvirte.dll and Windows Vista

    Hi everyone,
I used to have .DLL compled in LabView 7.1 that worked just fine in Windows XP. Now, I have rebuild it for Windows Vista. I have installed LabView RuntimeEngine 8.51.
    It's not working.
    Can you point out why?!
However I was wondering what happened to cvirte.dll, that I cannot see anymore in my Vista OS. DLLs should work without it?

I would start over and create a project from scratch and create a new build specification for the DLL. Add one function at a time and get them to work.
Is it possible post a screenshot of a DLL export function prototype and the corresponding VI blockdiagram and connector pane?

  • Lightroom 6 and windows 32 bit

    Hi,
I just wanted to start with the next level of photo shooting/editing.
Thus I purchsed Lightroom 6 and when I installed it, a error message came up ...
it needs obviously a 64bit computer.
    What can I do now?!?!
I the only chance to buy a new desktop?!?!
    Thx,

I also bought the download LR version 6 as an update of LR version 5.7 and tried to install it with the same error message of a 64bit windows version.
But this is not mentioned in the "Systemanforderung". They write following for:
    Windows
       - Intel®- oder AMD-Prozessor mit 64-Bit-Unterstützung*
         - Windows 7 mit Service Pack 1, Windows 8 oder Windows 8.1
    * Doppelkern-Prozessor für HD- oder AVCHD-Funktionen empfohlen
The same is mentioned for LR version 5
There isn`t given any directive to use a 64bit Win 7 version, only the recommendation for the processor *...
Does it really mean for LR6 is a 64bit WIN version necesary?
If yes, what can I do to reject version LR6 and get my money back?
    Thx

  • Interop.ORADCLib.dll and Oracle.DataAccess.dll for 64 bit Windows Server

    Sirs / Ma'ams,
Are there 64 bit versions of Interop.ORADCLib.dll and Oracle.DataAccess.dll which can be used in Windows Server 2003 and 2008?
    Thanks.

11.2 is beta at the moment. There is no official release date so far.
As DG4ODBC is independant from the Oracle database (or the target database) you can use a 3 machine model:
On the first machine you have your Oracle database, on a second machine running 32bit Windows you can install DG4ODBC and on the 3rd machine you can run your foreign database.
If the SQL Server 2k is installed on a 32bit Windows machine, then you can also install DG4ODBC on this machine.
In general the connection from an Oracle database to the DG4ODBC machine is done using SDQL*Net. The listener responsible for DG4ODBC will then load the DG4ODBC executable which will connect to the SQL Server using SQL Server ODBC driver.

  • Deskjet 710/720/810/820/1000 Series printers - Patch for 64 bit Vista and Windows 7

There is an issue with the 64 bit Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 or 8.1 drivers that causes the spooler to crash with the following HP Deskjet printers:
    Deskjet 710
    Deskjet 712
    Deskjet 720
    Deskjet 722
    Deskjet 810
    Deskjet 812
    Deskjet 820
    Deskjet 822
    Deskjet 1000
The attached file contains a patch for this issue for Vista and Windows 7.
[The patch does not currently work for Windows 8 or 8.1 x64 systems.  There are some efforts to address this, if a solution is developed it will be posted here.  {Edit - I have not made any progress in getting the patch to work in Windows 8 x64.}]
First make sure the driver for the printer is installed.  If the driver has not been installed go to Start, Devices and Printers, Add a Printer, Local Printer, choose the proper port (for USB-Parallel converters the port will likely be USB001: or perhaps USB002: ), Next, click Windows Update then choose HP for the manufacturer and select the appropriate printer.
Apply the patch as follows: Log into the computer with an administrative account.  Download the patch by clicking on this link or on the paper clip at the end of this post.  Save the patch file to your computer, then unzip it.  Next copy the three DLL files to the following directory:  %windir%\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3
Note that %windir% is a system variable that points to the location of the Windows directory. For most systems this will be C:\Windows.  You can click Start, Computer and type %windir%\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3 in the address bar and it will find the right place.
This can be done from a DOS prompt if DOS is opened with the "run as administrator" command, or from explorer with a copy and paste.  Depending on your UAC settings you may need to provide confirmation.  Also allow the current files to be overwritten if prompted.
This patch is not required and should not applied to a 32 bit version of Vista or Windows 7.
Thanks to extraordinary Microsoft engineer Alan Morris for guidance for the patch.
Update - the following are more detailed installation instructions:
Download the patch from here. Now click on the file and open it, then extract the patch to some directory that is easy to find. (I use c:\temp. If this directory does not exist you can create it as follows: open the administrative DOS prompt by clicking on Start, All Programs, Accessories, then right click on CMD.EXE and select Run as Administrator. Click in the DOS box then type the following:
    MD c:\temp
    CD \temp
Now extract the patch files into the c:\temp directory (extract all, chose c:\temp as the destination).
[Update - Windows security settings may prevent these files from being used, please open Computer, type c:\temp in the address bar and then right click on each of the dll files and select Properties.  If there is a message in Properties indicating the file was downloaded from the internet and may be blocked then unblock the file before proceeding.]
Next click back in the administrative DOS prompt and type the following: (stuff in green is comments, do not type them...)
DIR *.dll (this is just to verify the files are there, it should list hpvdb720.dll, hpvdb820.dll and hpwm5db1.dll and perhaps others.)
Net stop spooler (makes sure the files are not in use.)
Copy  hpvdb720.dll  C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3 (this is for the Deskjet 710/712/720/722)
Copy  hpvdb820.dll  c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3 (this covers the Deskjet 820 and 822)
    Copy  hpwm5db1.dll  c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\x64\3(this covers the Deskjet 1000)
    Net Start Spooler
    Exit
[Edit - note that these DLL files will already be in the directory.  You will get a warning asking if it is OK to overwrite the files, say "yes".]
At this point the patch is installed and ready to print.
Note that the printers here do not support USB connections, they have only parallel ports. [Edit - if your printer does have a parallel port use it, this will likely be much less problematic than using a USB-Parallel converter.]   If you use a USB-parallel converter make sure it is supported in your operating system.  The following posts are flagged with USB-parallel cables that are reported to work in Windows 7.   A driver is required for the USB-parallel converter in addition to the driver for the printer.  For supported converters this is typically supplied automatically in Windows 7.  Note:  the proper port to select for the USB-Parallel converters is often USB001:.  I have heard of some cases where the port was USB002: or LPT3: as well.  If the port you are using does not succeed (after applying the patch) try changing the port by going to Start, Devices and Printers, right click on your printer and select Printer Properties, then click on the Ports tab.

  • Oracle.DataAccess.dll on Windows 7 64 bit

    Hi,
I am migrating a .Net 3.5 windows class library from WinXP 32 bit to Win7 64 bit. I use Oracle 11g 64 bit client to connect to database.
my code works in Debug build but not in Release build. here is the error message:
"An attempt was made to load an assembly with an incorrect format:"
I did not complete uninstall by Oracle Deinstall, and re-install it.
    Debug build have a waring:
"Assembly generation -- Referenced assembly 'Oracle.DataAccess.dll' targets a different processor."
Release build still the same incorrect format error.
    here is more information:
    under C:\Windows\assembly
    Oracle.DataAccess     2.112.1.0     89b483f429c47342     AMD64
    Oracle.Web          2.112.1.0     89b483f429c47342     AMD64
How should I fix it? should I download and install "64-bit Oracle Data Access Components (ODAC)"? What's difference between ODP.net in Oracle client and in ODAC?
    Thank you,
    Wes
Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit, Visual Studio 2010, Oracle 11g 64 bit client

What do you have /32BIT flag set to in the assembly? Ie, was it compiled with AnyCPU, x86, etc? You can use corflags.exe with the .net sdk to find out.
Prior to VS2010, the default was AnyCPU which meant it ran as 64 bit on 64 bit OS, and 32 bit on 32 bit OS.
As of VS2010, the IDE defaults to x86, which means it runs as 32 bit no matter what.
    32 bit apps need 32 bit odp/client. 64 bit apps need 64 bit odp/client.
The error you're getting usually means you have the wrong bits (32/64) of the Oracle client installed.
Assuming you have the wrong client bits installed, you could either
    a) make the app run as the other bits by setting/clearing the 32BIT flag (also by using corflags.exe)
    b) install the other bits of Oracle client software. a 32 bit home and a 64 bit home play rather nicely together for the most part, but you need to install them into separate homes.
    Hope it helps,
    Greg

  • Crdb_dao.dll error on 64 bit Windows 2008 Server

We are using VS2008 to develop enterprise solutions for our customers. We have recently had support calls from our customers installing our solution on 64 bit WIndows Server 2008 machines reporting errors when displaying embedded Crystal Reports.
The error is "Failed to load database information. Details: The database DLL 'crdb_dao.dll' could not be loaded. Error in file C:\Users........rpt: Failed to load database information"
This error only occurs in the 64 bit environment and only occurs when the report is being passed a datasource at runtime, having been developed using a different source. eg: The report is developed based on an Excel Spreadsheet and then passed a runtime DataTable to populate the report at runtime.
We have setup a test environment and replicated this error. The test machine is using the 64 bit Crystal runtime.
Any help would be appreciated as this issue is getting hot now with more customers using 64 bit environments and over 100 of our reports being affected by this error.
    Thanks,
    Scott.

    Hi Ludek,
Thanks very much for your info and help.
Unfortunately I still haven't been able to resolve this issue.
    I have installed the SP.
I have also run the modules utility, which unfortunately does not work on the 64 bit machine.
I did notice in running it on a 32 bit machine that my test report is loading crdb_dao.dll, which is the same dll that the 64 bit machine is trying to load when the error occurs.
I am wondering if it is possible that the 64 bit Crystal runtime does not include this dll because a search of the files on the 64 bit machine fails to find a file by that name.
In actual fact, on further investigation I have now found that the Crystal 64 bit runtime throws this error for any report based on a spreadsheet file, even if that spreadsheet is accessible from the 64 bit machine, so it appears to be a bug in the Crystal 64 bit runtime.

    Scott.

  • Illustrator CS6 64-bit dvaui.dll and msvcr100.dll crashing problem, any solution?

First things first, trying to find a tech support Email address or phone number has been infuriating.  The "3-step support wizard" which results in "go to the forums" is also infuriating and insulting.
I have a Windows 7 64-bit PC running CS6 64-bit (updated/current), and it's crashing at random (2-3 times per day).  I see events recorded in the event log showing dvaui.dll and msvcr100.dll as the source.  Other people have raised this as an issue, and all I see are guesses.  Does Adobe have a credible solution for this yet?
I've tried running as a domain admin, which did not help.
Illustrator CS6 32-bit seems to be working perfectly (4 days straight, no crashing).
It seems to currently affect only one computer (5 others are fine).  It's not repeatable, and has no discernible cause.
Also, format and reinstall is neither a solution nor an option.
To be honest, I'm looking for Adobe to address this directly: do you know why this is happening, and how long until it is solved?  If an Adobe tech support will open a case, I have a file that the designer (I'm not the designer) was using during one of the crashes.  I don't know if the crashing will be related (to the file), but I have the file just in case.
    David.

    Hi Larry,
    Thank you for responding.
    > CS6 is current in that it is still available for purchase and in the CC but it is now two versions behind.
I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say.  Can you be explicit, please?
    > As to your problem have you tried downloading the .dll files from Microsoft and reinstalling them?
I have copied and re-registered the DLL files from a known-good machine (that is to say that the machine doesn't exhibit any of the symptoms as the above machine), which did not help.
I'm really interested in having Adobe respond directly to this issue.  I know they are aware of it.
It's clear that Adobe doesn't actually want to support this program, but people rely on it for their economic success.  Both my client and his employees need this program to function properly and reliably, and I think anyone would agree that it's reasonable to expect that a problem like this (that affects more than just us) be, at a minimum, addressed.  Adobe has my client's money, they had no problem accepting it.  With that acceptance comes a duty to be responsive.
    Thanks,
    David.
