SAPConsole can address to 2 SAP System ?

Hello,
The possibility exists that can address SAPConsole to 2 SAP systems at once?
Or is always directed to a single SAP system?
Thanks,
Enrique.

Hi ,
If you are asking whether you can connect to two SAP systems with a single click on SAP logon pad then no. At any given point of time it will connect to only one SAP system, no matter even if there are two sap instances installed in the same server.
This is defined by the ip address and system number.
Regards,
Ravi.

Transaction SITSPMON/SMICM are not working in R/3 system as it is 46D.
We found that parameter u201Clogin/disable_multi_gui_loginu201D works with SAPgui logons.
System logons using the Internet Transaction Server (ITS) or Remote Function Call (RFC) are not affected by this Parameter u201Clogin/disable_multi_gui_loginu201D
I need similar parameter u201Clogin/disable_multi_gui_loginu201D for the ITS users.

I want to test send and receive email in local network at my company. I
    had two server
Server 1 : I setup Exchange Mail Server 2007 with domain controller is
    fes.com
    Server 2 : I setup SAP ERP ECC 6.0
On Server 1 : I created 2 account ( u1Afes.com and u2Afes.com ) and then I tested send and receive email between u1 and u2 in local network through Microsoft Outlook 2007 -> OK
    and then
On Server 2: I had configured send and receive email on SAP system
through tcode SBWP, SCOT and SOST as Note 455140 - "Configuration of
e-mail, fax, paging or SMS using SMTP"
    for example :
I logged in SAP system with user Basis01 (with email u1Afes.com ) -> then, using tcode SBWP -> new message -> send to u2Afes.com with Internet Mail type and then status message with green light -> sending ok

    Hi,
This problem is a classic problem of mail routing via Exchange. Exchange like most mail servers use the domain part of the email address as a means to route mails. So I will make an assumption that your main company mail addrss is "User @ fes.com".
So when you send a mail to the "User @ fes.com mail" address the mail is delivered to your Outlook mail address as this is the default route for company.
    (Q) So how do you get your Exchange server to relay the mail into the sending SAP system?
    (A) The easiest way would be to setup and unique mail domain for your SAP system. I always recommend "user @ client.sid.company.com" which in your case would be "u1 @ 100.PRD.fes.com". You can then instruct Exchange to send any emails addressed to 100.PRD.fes.com domain to your SAP system. Also using this format of address you can configure multiple mail connections into multiple SAP systems.
    (A) Another answer would be to enter the "Full" email address (LOcal and Domain part of address) into the routing rule for Exchange e.g. "U1 @ fes.com" so that all emails addressed to this user will be delivered into SAP. However this method requires a lot of Admin as you will have to update Exchange with ALL email address that need to receive emails. Also if your corporate mail address is "U1 @ fes.com" then all mails will be forwarded to SAP.
I would definitely NOT recommend this method but the decision is up to you.
P.S. The IP address of the SAP system is entered into the mail header of the email. This is standard practice in SMTP relay. You can suppress this header in Exchange
    Hope this helps

  • Sap systems connection

I can log on two sap systems whick at different place, one is through the routers and the other is not.
My question is How can I connect them by TCODE SM59.

    Hello Plane,
As you are connecting two SAP Systems at different location using SM59, it becomes R/3 Connection of type 3.
So, go to the transaction SM59 and follow the following details
->Select R/3 connection and click on Create
->Give the connection type as 3 and give the description
    ->In the Technical Settings Tab,
-->> Give the Taget Host with the Ip address of the target SAP System
-->> Also, fill the System Number
    ->In the Logon/Security Tab,
       -->> Give the Language
-->> Client Number of the target system
-->> Username and Password of the target system.
Save it and Click on Test Connection
    Hope this is helpful

  • SCOT - How to send a mail from mail server to a SAP system

    Dear SAP colleagues,
With SCOT you can configure the SAPConnect administration.
You can easily configure your SAP system to allow the send of email from SAP to your mail server.
    Exemple :
    1. SID SAP : DL1
    2. Mail server : sn1exch.lec.local
    3. Target email : "myeamailaddress"
Send email process 01 : 1. DL1 ==> 2. Mail Server ==> 3. You read your email in your inbox "myeamailaddress"
    My problem :
From my inbox "myeamailaddress", I want to be able to send email to SAP (Dl1).
    Send email process 02 : 1. My inbox "myeamailaddress" ==> 2. Mail Server ==> 3. SAP (DL1).
    Question :
Do you have any help to configure it ?
Thanks in advance for your input.
    Best regards
    NetWeavAdmin

    Dear Olivier,
I do not have a specifi technical problem.
Let's summarize - my request concerns a SRM Workflow :
I am ordering an article. When the order is higher than 2'000 USD, I need to get the approval of my manager.
    That's the workflow.
    Workflow :
    1. I am user in DL1 SAP System.
        UserName : CharlesN
        In SU01,
        charles(a)green.com
    2. From DL1 SAP system, I order articles. The order total amount is higher than 2'000 USD.
In the workflow, an mail from DL1 is automatically send to my manager in his MS-Outook inbox.
        (manager(a)green.com)
    3. My manager reads the mail I have sent him and give his approvals by clicking on a approvals button.
When clicking the button, an mail must be automatically send from my manager MS-Outlook inbox
to DL1 to CharlesN inbox in SBWP in DL1 SAP system.
I have configured SCOT and read OSS Note 455140.
The SAPconnect virtual host is activated in DL1 (SICF).
I think a miss a step in our mail server to relay a mail from MS-Outlook to my SAP system.
    Any suggestion is welcome.
    Best regards

  • Help File to Be Integrated with Sap System

    Dear sir
Please get me how to integrate the help file[ERP 2004 help ] with SAP System. I M Not able to get the help from the system the error it throw is no document available i want the help of .chm file so is there any way to integrate that file with SAP system so that we can cget help from sap system itself
    I m Using ECC 5.0
    Regards
    Ashish

you can place (install) the help files on any machine you want, at least it has a web server on it.
you can then specify the "Server Name" and "Path" in SR13 to this server (e.g. Server Name = mywebserver.mycompany.com:1080, Path = helpdata)
the clients open the associated program to the extension of the files (in case of .chm and .html it would be most likely the Internet Explorer)

  • Interface module in GTS from Non-SAP system

    Hi, GTS experts,
Can you give me some hint please.
Now I'm plannning to connect Non-SAP system to GTS.
Are there any interface modules or something in GTS?
At least, following objects & actions are to be transferred and maintenanced.
    - business partner (customer or vendor in ERP)
    - customs product (product in ERP)
    - customs document & customs declaration document (document in ERP)
    - release of blocked customs document
    regarads,
    Katsumi

    Hello Katsumi,
Some further info to what has been provided above, here is how the following function groups align with data from the ECC system:
    /SAPSLL/API_1006 -> Business partners
    /SAPSLL/API_6800 -> Customs documents
    /SAPSLL/API_6850 -> Products
For each group there usually is a function module for individual or mass update, e.g.
    /SAPSLL/API_6850_SYNCH
    /SAPSLL/API_6850_SYNCH_MASS
The function modules in these function groups are remotely-enabled (i.e., they are BAPIs).
It is, thus, true to say that GTS can interface with non-SAP systems. Some GTS users have done this. But you have to use some sort of connector technology to build up the proxy and call the function modules (e.g. JCo) from your non-SAP system directly.

  • Compliance Calibrator for multiple SAP systems

I was wondering if anyone could assist me with my query.  We are currently performing an implementation of Virsa CC for a client and have begun to configure a CC DEV system they have installed with their custom SoD rule set.  The DEV CC system (sitting on a stand alone NetWeaver box) is "connected" to four SAP systems (DEV, QA, HR DEV & HR QA).  When we are building "functions" (i.e. raise purchase orders) in CC it asks us to define a SAP system when we are entering the transaction codes.  We've been configuring the functions with SAP DEV as the system, however when we run the analysis of results we would like to get results from QA as well.  It appears that the risk analysis only works for the system that you have defined the functions in (i.e. we get results for users in DEV but not for users in QA).
    My questions are as follows:
    - Do you need to define all the systems you wish to run a risk analysis for within the function (i.e. function = Raise purchase orders. DEV ME21 & QA ME21)?
    - If so, is there an easy way to convert our functions so that they point to QA as well (we've noticed that we can't edit the SAP system once the function is saved)?
    - Is it possible to export the functions and then define the SAP system when importing them back into CC (we've noticed with the SAP delivered rule set that SAP DEV was automatically defaulted)?  This is particularly relevant as we would like to export the rules from the DEV CC system and import them to the PROD CC system without having to manually create the rule set again; and
    - Is it possible to export the rules and manually change the SAP system reference and import them back into CC (i.e. do a "replace all" DEV to QA)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Alexi

In order to perform what your are trying to do in CC 5.2, you will need to go to configuration and setup a logical system, such as SAP R/3 and define all the appropriate systems for the logical system.  Then, when modifying the functions, you will need to set the tcode (action) to the logical system defined, such as R/3 or APO, etc.
The cross-system functionality only comes into play if you want to analyze the SOD where a conflict would occur if a user had access to one function in one system (for example - purchase order processing in APO) and a conflicting function in a different system (for example - Vendor Master in R/3).
If you simply want to check who has violates a risk against multiple system - the logical system is the best way.  You can have an logical system by system type - R/3, BW, APO, SRM, etc.
To convert this over, you can export the rules and during the export you have to define the new system when exporting the file.  If that doesn't work, I'd just delete everything out, and use the upload files to reload the rules with the correct data.

  • Add missing fonts in SAP System

    Hello,
There is fonts option on sap easy access screen
    Customize Local Layout (Alt + F12) --> Font (I18N)
Here we can see some fonts.
My question is can we add Fonts here, because Fonts like Tahoma, TimesNewRoman, Verdana are not listed in that list.
If yes How can we do so?
I know we can add fonts in SAP system via SE73 which can be used in SmartForms etc. But how to add fonts in above mentioned path?
    Regards,
    Abhay

    Hi Abhay,
It should be installed on your desktop , if its there you can use these.
Its not SAP specific , i have checked i am able to use all fonts which are installed in  my desktop.
You can check for installed fonts at control panel and then fonts.
You can try to add new font and then use.

    Can some one help me.
    Thinks.
    Issam

    Hi,
Through RFC (SM59) u can connect the TWO SAP systems.........
If u are in SAP 4.7 , once u enter into SM59 u will be finding the R/3 Connections... U have to choose that...
if u are in SAP ECC , then u will be finding the ABAP connections.. U need to choose that and create the RFC connection.....
But U need to know the details :
    1. Target Host Name .
    2. System Number.
    3. Logon details...

  • DBACOCKPIT Connection for SAP systems with SAP Router

    Hello!
We are trying to integrate all the remote SAP systems and their databases (primarily Oracle) into DBACOCKPIT of SAP Solution Manager 7.1.
Our SAP Solution Manager is running on Windows with Oracle 11.2.0.2
The most SAP systems (Unix and Windows) can only be reached from SAP Solution Manger over the SAP Router connection.
It means no direct ping from Solution Manager server to the Server of managed system will work.
    Question
Is it possible to integrate such SAP systems (with SAP Router) into DBACOCKPIT of Solution Manager?
According to sap note 1265134 only the DBCON-connection will be required.
By doing so (tcode SOLMAN_SETUP), we get TNS errors.
Do we miss some additional steps (adapting tnsnames.ora of SOLMAN with the entry of managed system), etc.?
    Thank you!

Systems can be reached via SM59, then what's the problem ?
In fact, this 'is' the standard procedure. This is as normal as you could have Solution manager in same 'network' with rest of the remote systems.
Answer should be yes, you can manage several remote sap systems from sap solution manager dbacockpit.

  • Using ale u can send from sap to sap and sap to non sap systems

    hi,
using ale u can send from sap to sap and sap to non sap systems,
then what is diff b/w ALE and EDI

    Hello KALYAN KUMAR,
    Application Link Enabling (ALE)
1.You distribute data using ALE if you want to communicate from one system to one or more other (mostly internal) systems.
2.ALE transfers data in IDoc format and uses the methods of tRFC for data transfer.
3.ALE enables the integration of business processes across several SAP or non-SAP systems.
    Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
1.You use EDI if you want to exchange business application documents with an (external) partner system (for example, a customer or vendor).
    2. The SAP system sends EDI messages in IDoc format to an EDI subsystem, where they are converted to a universal EDI standard (UN/EDIFACT or ANSI/X12).
    3. This enables communication with non-SAP systems.
By definition, two partners are involved in the process in an EDI application scenario: The sender and the recipient of an EDI message
I hope u understands the difference:)

    Hello,
    Yes u can do it.
In SE38 give ur report name and click display.
Now u will see ur code.
In the MENU follow the path:
    Utilities-->More Utilities --> Upload/Download --> Download.
Now ur report can downloaded to any format of file.
Ask ur client to upload ur report in the similar fashion..
