SAPGUI 7.10 Cannot view layout in tcode SE80 and COOis

Hi,
I am facing some problem with SAP GUI 7.10 in Linux (PCLinuxOS 2007 and in SimplyMepis 6.5).
When I use tcode COOIS, after executing this tcode, I cannot select all icon " Select Layout", "Sorting Ascending and Decending", "Export". There is no respon.
This problem also occured when I execute tcode SE80 > Screens > Layout.
In tcode SE80, I got a message after I click Layout button "Graphical Layout Editor not available. Continue with alphanumeric editor".
Please give me suggestion.

Step for COOIS :
1. Enter tcode COOIS
2. In List field > select Order Headers
3. In Profile field > select Standard profile
4. In Production plant field > input plant
5. On Selection Group of Absolute dates at header level > input Basic start date (one month)
6. Execute
7. The out put is : Order Information System: Detail List of Order Headers > select icon Select Layout

I am just finally posting a reply. Looks as though the sound card went out. I was told that I could purchase a new open and install myself. I did not do that, but rather my step-dad just decided it was time to buy a new Mac Mini.

Cannot view quicktime window normal size and still see controls!

I cannot view quicktime window normal size and still see control butttons (pause, play etc.)
I search this forum and found another previous similar question, but the answer. (To use control+0, which would make it half-size.), is not what I need.
What I need is to have a nice fuller size view, (not the narrow little half-size), but any way i find of doing that hides the controls below the bottom of my screen!
I cannot resize it from any side, except the bottom r. corner, which is hidden with these desireable fuller options.

Update: this was my mistake - I had neglected to configure all the view containers in the WebDynproCO window, which was generated by adding the GP interface to the component. All is well.

I cannot view videos purchased itunes crashes and powers everything down - only happens with itunes - no other videos played or viewed by other sites and methods

I have tried everything I can think of to fix problems I'm having with using/viewing purchased movies and TV episodes and viewing them in itunes.
They start to play for only a few minutes - usually choppy and distorted video and sound sync and then the laptop powers down entirely and goes into a loop of inability to start back up normally or through safe mode, etc.
I have absolutely no other problems watching and viewing videos from other websites orr methods for hours and hours on end. I've uninstalled and reinstalled itunes numerous times and still have the same issues.
I'm wondering if there's a Windows setting or preference that is incorrectly causing this problem or if there's an error within itunes itself.
Any help to correct would be appreciated since I've spent a ton of money purchasing videos I cannot view.

Try this:
Plug in your iPod,
1. Right click My Computer >> Manage and select Device Manager in the left tab.
2. Click Portable Devices >> right click Apple iPod >> Uninstall
3. Unplug and plug your iPod, now wait for windows to re recognize your ipod [ In Device Manager, you will see the new recognized Apple Ipod ]
4. Press F5 to refresh your windows explorer and see if your Apple iPod will show up with a camera icon.

Cannot view the detailed Email date and time about the meeting request

Hi,I am unable to view the detailed message and Date and time of a meeting request in the default Email app in my Sony Xperia P mobile. Even when i select the calender it does not defaultly go to the meeting date. I need to manually select the date to see the meeting. I cannot see the meeting details without accepting it.I have seen the better behaviors on HTC One V and Galaxy Nexus where full meeting details including message, Date, time, venue appears in the meeting request message.Is there any setting which needs to be changes or is it the limitation of the phone app.Regards,Pratik Ranjan

Hi Johan,Im also seeing this on my xperia s, ICS. Here's some additional info i have after some testing:Work have Exchange 2010, I have sent calendar invites from outlook 2007 and 2010 clients and it works for the 2007 clients as it automatically adds the meeting details into the body of the request, something it doesn’t do in 2010, so it may be the way the calendar form has changed in 2010. It also works fine when i get an invite from an external person.This however is just adding the text into the body, I too have tested with the HTC One S and Samsung Galxay S3, bith use the stock email and both display the time as part ofthe invite no tin the body of the invite,
In doing the testing I have also found another issue. I have found that it doesn’t inform you of a calendar conflict.ThanksMike

Cannot view all of the settings and options of some programs

Is there a way to reduce the size of a program's window to the screen 800 x 600 resolution limit. Many of the settings are below the bottom of the screen and cannot scroll to the bottom of the viewing window. It would be nice if I can increase the screen's resoution-the maximum limit is 800 x 600. Is there a setting in OS X to resize the viewing window?

Yea, that 800 x 600 limitation finally drove me to get a new iBook.
When I encounter an application with a screen like that, I fire off a request to the support area of the manufacturer of the application. Usually I get a nice reply saying that they will look into it.

Cannot view recordings....and no recordings since 2:00 pm on 7/4/2012

I really expect to have recordings after 2 pm on July 4 to become visible to me. All of my recording that are on the monitoring screen say unable to view. apparently there is work being done on the server, but I seriously hope that the recordings after 2 will come into my accout as well. If not, my 5 cameras are being boxed up and shipped back - with a full refund. my account log will prove my case,,,,

Same thing here, only it's every day. I get SMS notifications for about 70% of events and about 30% of those are actually recorded. I wouldn't bother phoning Verizon. Most of their reps haven't even heard of Home Control and they aren't likely to be of any assistance.

I cannot view video clips in iphoto. quicktime used to open automatically but no longer

I cannot view video clips I created and syncd from my iphone into iphoto. Quicktime used to open automatically. Now it wont for some reason.

If you have iPhoto 8 and Lion then download and install QuickTime Player 7 for Mac OS X v10.6.3 or later. That should let you view clips in the iPhoto library.

Friends with PCs cannot view iMovie on my Mac webpage

After announcing my iMovie posted on my webpage to my family, they cannot view. Most have PCs and say they cannot download Quicktime 7.0 with iTunes. What can I do to enable them to view?
Should I remake my iMovie with earlier Apple software in a way that they can view?

I do this all the time at work, using iMovie to post
2 minute demo reels of various artists on a server so
people with PCs can watch the movies. Here is what I
do (a variation of what Karsten suggested):
When in iMovie, and you have your movie project saved
in the lower time-line, go to File>Share. A new
window will open. In the "Compress movie for:"
selection, choose "Expert" settings. Click the blue
"Share" button. Another window will open called "Save
exported movie as". Click on the "Options" button.
Another window will open. Click on "Settings". This
is where you can choose the correct setting so PC
users can see your movie. In the top pull-down
selector, choose "Sorenson 3". When in this same
window, you may want to change the "Compressor
Quality" to Medium or Low, as this will save a ton of
space. Click OK, and this will bring you to the
previous window. Now, click on "Size" and choose
"Custom Size" and type in Width: 320, Height: 240.
Click "OK". Click "OK" again, then you will be back
to the window that enables you to "Save" your movie
and name it what you want (keep the .mov extension as
this is what Quicktime movies need), and to save it
where you want. Try this. Once you do this once, it
will be easy the next time. When you get familiar
with these choices, there are others within the
windows that allow you to change settings for
"Streaming Video" and for a variety of broadband
settings. But start by simply choosing what I
suggest here. I have never had a problem with a PC
not being able to see these movies. Worst case, your
"PC friends" can download a version of QT without
iTunes (something like QT6) that will allow them to
view anything up to the latest QT7 formats. The H264
is a version of MPEG4 from QT7 and is great, but you
must have the latest version of QT to view these
movies.

I tried what Daniel suggested but and couldnèt find the Compress Movie for: window after clicking on File Share. Not sure if this makes a difference, but I am using iMovie HD.
When I click on File Share, the window shows options menu for me to go to email, webpage, videocamera, iDVD, QT, Bluetooth.

View layout is not displaying, ( The page cannot be displayed)

Hi guys,
we have recently installed the ECC6. In webdynpro component, the view layout is not displaying, instead it showing the error message like " the page cannot be displayed".
I came to know that, in order to display the view layout we need to activate some services .
Please let me know what are the services should activate in order to display the layout.

Cannot view latest records in database

I have a database with 138 records. I can only view 134. When I call for New Record I cannot see the bottom of the list. Also, I entered 10 records which are not showing. I see one posting saying something about not entering new records in the list view? Is that not the way to do it?

There should be no need to create a new DB file.
AppleWorks creates a default "Standard" layout when you start a DB file, and names it Layout 1. Unless you've renamed it or removed it, that layout is still there, and will be found at the bottom of your Layout menu. If it's the only layout (ie. if you started the DB from scratch, and haven't defined any additional layouts) then chooseing Browse (shift-command-B, or Layout > Browse) should also take you to this layout.
New layouts can be added to the database at any time. A layout controls which fields you view, and where they are placed on the screen or on the page, but has no effect on what data is included in the database itself.
To get an idea of some of the layouts that are possible, take a look at the DBs created by the Address List Assistant (make both the Personal and Business lists), and the Templates for Event Planner and Wine Collection, all found in Starting Points. These will also give you some ideas about how to combine Finds, Sorts and Layouts into automated reports, using the buttons on the Tools palette.

WebDynpro View Layout Preview Problem

Hi experts,
    I'm newbie in Webdynpro ABAP. I'm trying to develop a WDA application. Our servers are upgraded recently from 4.6C to ECC 6.0.
    When I incorporate view and go to layout tab while developing, the system gives me proxy error, page can't be displayed.
    I've gone through the related notes 1008689 1009930 and 517484.
    I've activated all the necessary service through SICF as mentioned in note 517484. Also Implemented correction of the note 1008689.
     Still I'm facing with the same error.
     What is HTTPPURLOC table ? How to configure it? I'm not understadning its documentation at all.
Any idea about this ?

we are at ECC 6.0, SAP_BASIS - 700 - Level 9.
I have activated all the services stated in the notes 517484, 1088717, I also implemented note 1008689.
When I am trying to display the view layout I am getting message No active plug-in found and the layout page shows like "The page cannot be displayed", so here I am not able to add UI elements.
I am not sure what else I am missing here.
I will appreciate if any body can help me out in this configuration.
Please send me if any body has config step by step guide
I am not sure about the port and other stuff.

Unable to move POWL Universal View/Layout by Transport Request

Hi Experts,
We have SRM7.0 ....This is a extenstion/refence to below thread.
Is SRM 7.0 POWL setting possible at Client or global level ?
In Config Client 610 I created some Layout in the POWL_QUERY ..so that it will be accessable to all users... and give name "Global" ( 6 Char) to the layout or View in webbrowser..given there TR ( Customization) Number..... and same name given in the GUI srceen POWL_QUERY in field "Layout".
Thne I moved ths TR from 610 ( Config Client) to 612 ( DEV Client)......and executed report POWL_D01 for relevant APPL ID in 612...but this created Universal View/Layout is not appareing in the SRM web browser... I saw some reports ...POWL_D08...but it does not exist in system.... I also executed report POWL_D08 in Config Client with TR and moved...but no use...

Viewing Layouts on Remote/Testing Server

This is a beginner question.
I'm trying to view Layouts and/or Content Holders on the Remote/Testing Server out of Dreamweaver so I can edit them independently, but I just get 404 messages.
When I create a new page in BC, I am prompted for a Page Title which subsequently creates a Page URL and File name. The Page URL by default has no extension. The File Name has an extension.
If I view that new page on the Remote Server I get a 404 message. If I edit the Page URL to include the File Name extension, I have no problem on the Remote Server.
Now for example: In File Manager I have the following directory structures:
http://www.MySite.com/_System/ContentHolders/layout.html
http://www.MySite.com/Layouts/SystemMessages/SecureZoneAccessDenied-CA.html
Why is it that I can't view these pages on the Remote Server?
Is BC creating a default URL for these Layout pages that isn't the same as the file name it gives them? or no URL at all?

Hey there. Those are not pages. They are system generated layouts and for content holders only render when the module issued for that content holderin a pager template.
Ile extensionsyouseefor these are needed to work via FTP and understnd HTML formatting etc.
Zone access denied is a system message and will render when you create a login and enter a incorrect password.
Actual pages do not need agile extension.
Loin into the admins floor around. Look and pages, system layouts and templates, apply templates to pages. get a feel of things there as well to help get abetted understanding.
Also check out the links from the main page oftheseforums to theknowledgebaseto read through things as you need them.

When I save an image on my ipod touch 3rd gen then go to the photos, the library updates/rebuilds, then I cannot view the picture as it just comes up as a picture of a grey camera that says JPG. It never used to do this, how do I fix it?

I go to save a picture (bu holding my finger down on the image, then pressing save image, when the option comes up), and then go to the photos to view the picture, its says updating library and takes about a minute to finish loading and rebuilding/updating the library. After it has finished updating the library I cannot view the picture I saved because it comes up as a picture of a grey camera that says JPG (I assume this is some sort of file, because if i save multiple pictures only one JPG, gery camera image shows up.) My ipod never used to do this. Any idea on how to fix it?
