SAPINST hangs during selecing export media for SRM 7.0

Hi - i'm doing new fresh install of SRM 7.0 SR1 on Solaris Sparc OS platform. Sapinst hangs after providing path for export dvd.  I have deleted all the contents from the installation directory and started from fresh and still hangs on same stage.  While its hanging, there are no logs generating in installation directory.  Any help will be apprecaite it.
Thanks

Have you check the SAPDODS.log ? Paste the log ....
Also if possible change the R3load and dboraslib files ; and try again. But first check the SAPDODS.log
Regards,
Neel

what i did was that i started deploying sda file via sdm command mode and i started the sdm server from command mode.
But now there is another error of compilation. the callSdmviaSAPinst.log

    Hello,
    acording to this output:
    /sapmnt/BIA/exe/R3load -datacodepage 1100 -e /SAPinst_DIR/SAPCLUST.cmd -l /SAPinst_DI
    R/SAPCLUST.log -stop_on_error
you are doing the export with a non-unicode SAP codepage. The codepage has to be 4102/4103 (see note #552464 for details). There is a screen in the sapinst dialogues that allows the change of the codepage. 1100 is the default in some sapinst versions.

  • Hang during import from camera or media - HELP!

iPhoto hangs during import from camera or media reader. Works for 20 or more photos, then hangs. No response at all. Must force quit. After restarting the import, it will go further the next time, then hang again. And again. And again. Eventually the import completes. After that, all is OK until next import. VERY FRUSTRATING. Especially with 8GB media cards. ARRGH!
I've tried rebuilding iPhoto library (all options). Using iPhoto 7.1.5 on OS X 10.5.6. 4GB ram, intel dual core.
Help me Obe-Wan. You're my only hope.

And it is better to use a card reader to import yoru photos and after they are safely in iPhoto use your camera to reformat your card - this assues no data loss and keeps your card format fresh

I usually use the media reader. After the imports started hanging is when I tried importing direct from the camera to see if it made a difference. No difference.
I've reformatted the media. No difference. Still hangs on first import after reformat. Multiple media cards, all same result. Tried different USB ports, same result. Tried different media readers. Same result.

  • Windows 7 hangs during install on HP Pavilion a Media Center 1320n

Windows XP Media is currently on machine.  I tried to install Windows 7 Ultimate Edition.  When the computer rebooted the installation would hang during the complete installation.  I tried several times and the same thing happened.  I reformated the hard drive and tried to install the same OS using a USB flash drive and got the same results.  I reformatted again and tried to install Windows Vista Ultimate Edition and got the same results.  The only OS I can install on this machine is Windows XP.  Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to install Windows 7.
I upgraded the Bios with version 3.24 before I began the installation.

Another update in case anyone might be having the same problem..  Found out what the problem is.. But still have not resolved it.. I did another fresh install of Win7. Joined the domain and rebooted.  When it came back up I checked the network and sharing center.  It is showing "Identifying".  Start> Run> firewall.cpl .  It is showing Public network as my current connection. I unplugged my network cable and plugged it back in.  It now shows domain network. Log offs work fine.  After reboot it goes back to doing the same thing.  I tried with both DHCP and a static IP.  Both ways, same problem. So it works fine if the location is set to domain network but not to public (which i guess it automatically puts it in to if it cant identify the network).  Sometimes it will go to work network.  Logoffs take roughly 30 seconds compared to 8 min. on a public network or 2 seconds on a domain network.
We do have a group policy that disables security center.  It will disable the firewall and other features when it is set to domain network.  But not for the work or public locations.
The other policy we have in place is for Kerberos.  Kerberos is disabled by default in windows 7 but is needed for our SAP to work.  When we run a packet sniffer on the machine it is showing a lot of back and forth traffic with our DC and the protocol just shows Kerberos.  So my next test is to remove the GPO for Kerberos and see if that makes a difference.
The funny thing is; I have a Precision 380 sitting right aside of it. Running Windows 7, joined to the same domain, connected to the same switch, in the same OU and it doesnt have a problem..

  • BB Desktop Manager for PC hangs during start-up

My wife has a 2 years old HP laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit OS, at Service Pack 1 level.  BB Desktop Manager for PC hangs during it's (BB Desktop's) start-up.  Initially the screen with BlackBerry Desktop Manager and the BB logo appears but then it goes away and a smallish screen appears and never changes from a blank grey screen.  If you mouse over the border it indicates it is not responding.  She has been using this product on this PC with no major problems for several years.  Looking in the Events Viewer, it seems the error first appears on 10/9/2011.  Yesterday I tried to fix the issue by installing the laciest version RIM 6.1.0.36 (she was using .35)  That made no difference.  I have the program set to run as an Administrator and have told Norton to Trust it.
The Event log entry for the oldest such event contains the following:
The program Rim.Desktop.exe version 6.1.0.35 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.
    Process ID: 41d4
    Start Time: 01cc86f573d09df1
    Termination Time: 6677
    Application Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Desktop\Rim.Desktop.exe
    Report Id: aa0d892a-f2e9-11e0-a448-002713bd2c63
Since it is necessary to either task-manager the blank window shut or to tell it to force it to close, these errors may be generated by that action.
Today I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but still no improvement.    Any suggestions?

I have just copied in the most recent attempt to start it.  The full log is quite large

  • Setting the default Output Name for the Export Media dialog

In File | Export | Media the Export Settings always show the wrong Output Name, from a project I did several days ago. If I change it for this export, the wrong path just comes back again for the next export.  I don't know how I accidently  got it set for the earlier project.  I don't see any way to set it. Could someone tell me where this is set?  I'm running PrPro CS4.
    Thanks

I'd read earlier the update wasn't a good one so had avoided it. The
real frustration comes from not finding how I did it a couple months ago!
I do not know where you read that but there is nothing wrong with the update.
Here you will find the latest update.

  • Premiere Pro CC hanging on export media

    Hello,
I've a project shot on P2 cards with a couple of MP3 audio tracks. Never been a problem before. Went to export media (Queue to Media Encoder) and as it's processing the request the application stops responding.  (also realized at this time the auto-save wasn't so I lost 2hrs work)
After recreating and saving - same issue - hang on export media
Updated to Premiere Pro CC 2014 - managed to get to Media Encoder and then it failed with an unspecified H.264 error (I'm trying to save to the H.264 YouTube 720p 29.97 compression) When I tried again, it hung up on the export process as originally happening.
Trashed preferences (of both versions of PPCC) - tried again - same results
Removed MP3s and tried again - same results
Went back to Premiere Pro CC and opened another project shot with a Canon 7D and was able to export media.
I've done at least ten projects with my Panasonic Camera's and the P2 workflow in Premiere Pro CC and have not had any problems.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot further would be greatly appreciated.

OK, So to be more specific it's hanging when I send it to Media Encoder Queue. I was just able to just do a direct export.
I found the article on permissions and that was not the issue.
I've made no changes to hardware and have done three projects with the same codecs, type footage, duration (1 hour range) with no problems.

Hi there! So I am using Lightroom 3 on a pc and I have ran into an issue when exporting images. The DPI and image size (in inches) that I am selecting during the export process. For example I just exported a collection and set the dpi to 180 and the size to 7 inches on the long edge. My exported result is 457 dpi and sized at 3200x2134 pixels.. Any ideas on why this is happening and what I can do to correct it?

The DPI setting in a digital image has no meaning at all. You need to learn how to calculate what you need in your exported image. The only measurement in a digital image that has any meaning is the number of pixels in each direction. It doesn't matter what you set that DPI to (actually it's PPI or pixels per inch). The image will have the same number of pixels regardless of the setting. If you need an image that is 5 x 7" (for example) at 200 PPI then you would want an image that measured:
    5 x 200 = 1000 pixels
    7 x 200 = 1400 pixels
So you would need an image that is 1000 x 1400 pixels to have a 5 x 7" image at 200 PPI. The reason your exported image had such a high PPI setting is because you specified the number of inches you wanted the image to be. And there were enough pixels in the image that it calculated out to be that high PPI setting.
I apologize, I don't explain this very well. But you need to learn to do the math to determine how large you really want your exported images to be.

  • Export DB for Unicode conversion by SAPInst for distributed System

    Hi,
In a distributed SAP system (CI and DB on separate host),
    (1) I run SAPInst to export DB for unicode conversion via system copy option in DB host. After the parameter input up to General Unload settings e.g. Unicode Target system ? Yes, Parallel import/export ? No

    How to solve it?

  • Export Media not respecting bitrate change for H.264

I am having an etremely odd problem where I can't change the export bitrate for an H.264 video.  Actually, I can change it but then when I export it to adobe media encoder the change is not respected.
For example I have a video that I exported at 9 Mbps.  I would like to reduce the file size by encoding at 6 Mbps, so I change the settings and export again however the change is not reflected in adobe media encoder.  It still encodes the video at 9 Mbps?
I am using Premiere CS4.  Has anyone ever run into this?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum.
Are you trying to encode using CBR?  If so, make the bit rate change to the Target bit rate in the VBR settings, then switch to CBR.  That should work for you.

  • Feature Request: Make a Setting Option for Export - Media - What to Render

As I just changed after many years with Premiere Elements to Pro, I certainly find many things just anconversant.
But there's one thing I really can't take: When I'm trying to render a project, there's a small selection list near the bottom of the "Export Media" window saying "export area". Here I can choose between "complete sequence", "work area", "sequence in/out" and "defined by user". This option jumps always back to "work area"!
That's at least for me very unconveniant, because in 99+ % of my renderings, I need "complete sequence". Normally the software remembers the last used setting, but not in this case. I can imagine that one can fight about what's the best default setting: I Guess everyone is using Premiere differently. So in my opinion a predefined setting option would solve best for all: Just add one mor setting in the Presets section, maybe in "General" or make a new rubric "Export" or something. Just a place where everyone can predefine which setting for the export media area option he likes.
No big deal, just one more presettings option!
I hope I could make myself clear what I'm meaning
    Thanks in advance!

  • InDesign CS4 crashes during "Export Book for Digital Editions"

InDesign CS4 crashes each time I select "Export Book for Digital Editions." I tried deleting my preferences and then creating books that contain only two very simple INDD documents, but I still get this error:
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS4\InDesign.exe
    R6025
    - pure virtual function call
I can export books as EPUB files without problems on my personal laptop, which has InDesign CS5. But we're using CS4 at the office. Any ideas?
I'm running InDesign CS4 version 6.0.6 on Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 3, HP Compaq desktop, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU.

google r6025 runtime error and you'll see a lot of advice for tracking down and correcting the problem.

  • Export Media not working Mac CC 2014 8.1.0 (81) build

I have been using Premier Pro CC (2014) for months and it's been working fine until today. Today I opened an older project that was done in CC (not CC 2014) and CC (2014) was very unstable. I noticed there was an update so I updated it. Now It is VERY unstable and I when I hit Export Media nothing happens. No hang, no other dialog box nothing. It's like I never hit the button.
I have a deadline this morning with a client in 23 minutes. I have nothing to show. I can't even get it to export in any format. I even tried exporting an XML to FCP so I could show them something.
I will have to rebuild the entire thing in CC and remove this version all together if I can't find a solution.
I am running mavericks on a stable machine, until today.
Yes I know I should never update in the middle of a project but it was so unstable I figured I would give it a shot.
    thanks
    -david

I found a folder in Documents > Adobe but it mostly looks the same.
I am now going to try uninstalling Premier Pro CC (214) and then restart and install it again.
FYI - for my presentation to my client, a rough draft, I used ScreenFlow to record from the desktop of Premier so at least I had something to show.
    thanks again

  • Long Projects exported Media Encoder 5.0.1 fail to finish

Exporting 90 minute P2 AVC-INTRA 100 sequence or a 90 Motion JPEG sequence fails to finish.  Both exports fail around 50%.  Media Encoder 5.0.1 fails to finish.  This is reminicent of PP 2 and CS3 days when long sequences would not finish.  In this case I ended up breaking up the sequence into two parts and the exports complete.  Suspect that media encoder 5.0.1 over time generates error that there is not enough disk space when there actually is.  Media Encoder indicates error compiling movie.  Maybe not refreshing itself during the export process.  Developers need to fix this asap.  Memory management may also be an issue with this problem.
If anyone is having this same exporting problem suggest you break up project into chunks for now until this is fixed by Adobe.
Cannot finish long projects with this bug not being fixed.

Have not tried that.  System configuration guys I talk to on a regular basis have told me that because Media Encoder is caching the project in memory that the appropriate way to to run and export via Media Encoder, when exporting your project, is to queue the export to Media Encoder from Premiere then start the encode in Media Encoder first then close Premiere CS5.  Something to do with the way they link or something.  However the problem I am having is exporting a long project (90 minutes).  Adobe had an issue a few versions back with this same issue of exporting a large project.  I suspect it has to do with the app no rechecking it's own processes or some piece of code that is stopping the export after a certain time or certain size when it should not.  Reported the bug to adobe and I hope they fix it asap.  I could be wrong as I am using a GTX 480 card and because mercury playback is not officially supported I could be having issues related to the card.  However, until I hear someone exporting a 90 minute or 2 hour movie in AVC-INTRA 100 or motion jpeg or Cineform without a problem I am pretty sure this is a bug.
