  • SAPJco.JAR

    Hi All
    We are installing Mapbox SP13 on the CRM 5.0,Kernel version 700, SP Level SPS14 . It's a Dual-stack system.
I wanted to know is it mandatory to install SAPJCO on the server.
When i am trying to execute the Smoketest for the mapbox, it's asking for the location of SAPJCO.JAR file and i'am unable to locate it.
Request you to help in finding the sapjco.jar file and in configuring the mapbox.
    Regards
    Kaleem

    Hi again,
I had a look on our system (just JAVA stack) and I performed a search for jco.
Seems like there is no sapjco.jar (But there are a couple of client libraries concerning JCO with different names)
    e.g.
    ./D01/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/bin/ext/com.sap.tc.di.scm.cts_adapter/_transport_adapter_jco.jar
    ./D01/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/bin/ext/com.sap.tc.di.scm.transport_api/_transport_adapter_jco.jar
    or
    /sapmnt/D01/exe/cfw/lib/jts_jco.jar
Maybe it is the best if you download sapjco fpr your OS from SAP Marketplace and install it in on your machine to make sure it is the appropriate library
    Nevertheless:
Try to perform a search on your machine to look for the library:
    e.g.
    # find /usr/sap -name "*jco*.jar" -print
    or
    # find /sapmnt -name "*jco*.jar" -print
    or
    # find /usr/sap -name "sapjco.jar" -print
and see if you have any hits
    Hope this helps
    Cheers

  • Problems with sapjco.jar and the EP6 SP19

    Hi,
    <b>
We have recently upgraded the portal server from EP6 SP9 to EP6 SP19.
Some of the applications that use Jco connections to interact with the backend, are giving exceptions while executing. These applications were properly executing before the upgrade.
Now, Is there any problem with the sapjco JAR file version??? How to resolve this problem???
    </b>
    regards
    Brahmachaitanya

    Hi Brahmachaitanya ,
download the latest version of sapjco.jar, librfc32.dll,sapjcorfc.dll from service market place which is compatable to your OS.
then place the two dll files under windows/system32 folder
    even if it doesnt work,
in the createclient() method give user id and password, language, host name in capital letter(upper case)
    and try it

  • Is sapjco.jar still valid in EP7?

    Hi,
I'm migrating some EP5 iViews to EP7 and want to know if I should still include sapjco.jar in \dist\PORTAL-INF\private\lib or whether this have been superceeded by another .jar in EP7?
Strangely enough we are running EP5 iViews on EP6, and have a version of sapjco.jar from Service Marketplace. Should I continue to use this or is there a newer version of this jar delivered with EP7? I searched by EP7 installation jars but couldnt find sapjco.jar as part of the installation.
    Any advice appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Steve

Yeh, I got it working. I was just doing something dumb. The UI to insert it
will be a nice addition. Overall, I love the app. It has more than doubled
productivity for heavy web UI stuff

  • Sapjco.jar migration from WL8 to WL10

    Hi All,
Recently we migrated from weblogic 8 to weblogic 10 both are 32 bit.
We have below libraries and it is working fine with weblogic 8.
    librfccm.so , libsapjcorfc.so , sapjco.jar.
Is there any new version of sapjco.jar file which supports weblogic 10.
I got sapjco3.jar but we don't want to use this because it is completely different.
Instead we would like to have sapjco.jar with com/sap/mw/jco/JCO supporting classes and also supports weblogic 10.
    Any help really appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Basha,
did you manage to resolve your issue? I also got the same problem. We are upgrading to Weblogic 8 to 10 and I am still using SAP JCO 2.1.9 version and it is failing without exception and Ican't use JCO3 because it is completely different.
Do you know that JCO3 works with weblogic 10? If so i can try to change my JAVA coding to adapt changes from JCO3.
Could please advise how you resolved the issue?
    Thanks,
    Anil

Did I missed configuring something in Enterprise? Any other ideas?

    Hi,
You could either try marking the External Resource(s) with the Jar files as versionable or copy the Jar files to these directories:
    <Enterprise Home Directory>/enterprise/webapps/webconsole/WEB-INF/lib
    <Enterprise Home Directory>/enterprise/ext

  • Common lib jar configuration for fusion web project

    Hi,
I have one common lib jar file which contains webservice proxy client.
I have multiple fusion web projects which contain bounded taskflows. These projects are exposed as ADF lib jars and used in webcenter pages.
Each fusion web projects contains model project and which defines one java class as application module. The application module calls webservice proxy client for supplying data to UI layer.
I am looking for clarification on adding common lib jar to fusion webprojects. Do I need to add common lib jar file for both model and viewcontroller project? Is there any way to add at fusion web application level so that both model and view controller projects can refer the lib jar and also for Webcenter application if I add this taskflow as region to the page.

    Hi,
Do I need to add common lib jar file for both model and viewcontroller project?
This really depends on your architecture. If for example the ADF model you reference in the view layer project is from an ADF Library too then the view layer project needs to have all the library references. If the view layer project is in a workspace with a model project and the model project is the client of the service then the common jar files need to go into the model layer.
and also for Webcenter application if I add this taskflow as region to the page.
If you use it in a region then the problem is that ADF libraries don't hold 3rd party JAR references, which means you need to provide the library to the consuming application of the task flow. You can try configuring the JAR file in the EAR file you deploy with your consuming application and see if this is enough. Otherwise you can try a shared WLS library deployment

  • Plugin Third party Dependent jars configuration

    Hi,
We have developed a scheduled task which has thid party dependent jars (jars for webservice client like axis etc). We put this jars under the lib folder which also contains the plugin jar. When we deploy the plugin with plugin registration utility we get classnotfound exception about the third party jars which we already included in the lib directory. What can be the problem here ? any help is strongly appreciated..
    BR,
    Aliye

If you include Third party jar inside plugin zip it should not produce error.
However, For Scheduled task Plugin is not required. You upload your Scheduled Task Jar/Third party jar using UploadJars.sh or place inside Scheduled Task,ThirdParty folder.
Hope currently you have registered your code as plugin. better remove this plugin using ant script or db. and then put your jars at file system and then upload it using UploadJars.sh. Make sure you run
    PurgCache.sh all afterwards.

Correct. If you wish to run it a second time, then you need to reset to the factory-default config (and destroy any existing domains). However, if you wished, you could save a copy of the domain you created the first time before re-running ldmconfig and recreate the domain afterwards.
    ldm list-constraints -x ldom1 > ldom1.xml
<do this for each domain created if you wish>
    ldm destroy ldom1
    ldm set-config factory-default
    <powercycle>
    ldmconfig
    <create the domains you want>
    ldm create -i ldom1.xml
Or if would like a GUI, I'd suggest Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center 11g

  • Getting error in SAP Authentication configuration for BO Edge 3.1 SP3

    Hi,
I have installed BusinessObject Edge Series 3.1 SP3 and BusinessObject XI 3.1 SAP SP3 on Windows 2008 server.
I am trying to configure SAP Authentication between BO and BI server. In CMC i have provided all the details under Entitlement System and click on update, After that when i click on Role Import tab I am getting "Name or password is incorrect". However, I checked user name and password is correct by login with same user and password to BI server.
I have downloaded sapjco.jar  and sapjcorfc.dll and placed it at required locations and also done the transport in BI system as given with Integration Kit
I checked document "SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.1 SP3 Integration for SAP Solutions u2013 Supported Platforms" and found that SAP GUI 720 is not supported with SAP BusinessObjects XI 3.1 SP3.
    Supported SAP GUI are:
SAP 640 GUI, patch level 25
    SAP 710 GUI patch level 6 (1)
But I dont found those SAP GUI's on Service market place.
Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.
    Thanks and regards,

    HI,
did you check if the SAP credentials entered on the Entitlement System page have the necessary authorizations to read the roles ?
You can see the details in the Installation Guide.

  • Error while configuring SAP authentication in CMC

But when I click on Role Import Tab, I get the following error.

Is it because I need to install SAP JCo? Please suggest.
If I need install SAP JCo is it freely available? Which version has to be installed?

    Same issue here.
Business Objects Enterprise 3.0 is installed on a dedicated machine.  I have followed the documented installation procedure, step by step, but I am still facing two issues:
#1. SAP Authentication does not work.  When trying to log into InfoView using SAP Authentication, I get the following error:
    Account information not recognized:
CSecSAPR3Binding::XRFCCnxBroker::BorrowConnection() failed. See following log entries for details.
Failed while trying to log on to SAP system.
The following RFC error was returned: [Group, Key, Message]:
[103, "RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE", "Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)"].
The entitlement system has therefore been disabled in memory.
This may be because the SAP system is unavailable or because the credentials are invalid.
The entitlement system has to be re-enabled before it can be used again.
#2.  BOE is unable to import the SAP roles (from CMC SAP Authentication configuration).  The application throws the following error:
    An error has occurred:
    com/sap/mw/jco/JCO$Function
I am using JCo v 2.1.8.  sapjco.jar was extracted to C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\common\lib and sapjcorfc.dll was extracted to C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86.  librfc32.dll was installed in a prior step by the SAP Front End, and the file exists in C:\Windows\system32.
    Any other ideas?

  • JCO jar file location

    Hi,
I am implementing some JSP pages that call JCO functions and deploy it using the SAP Deployment Tool. The problem I having is that if do not place a copy of the sapjco.jar in the WEB-INF/lib folder of the application it will give me an exception when I try to run a JSP that calls a JCO function.
Do I need to configure something in the Deployment tool so the JSP will use the JCO functions that are located in the WEB AS?
    Thanks in advance.

    hi,
include SAPJCO.JAR it as an external jar into your project in NWDS. and place the (librfc32.dll and sapjcorfc.dll) DLL files in your SYSTEM32 Directory inside Windows (if u are using WIN OS).
Try to restart your computer and run your code...
    It should work.
