IN my picking list for , the content in main window have table to dispaly .this table is visible in print preview but it is not coming if u print . i want to search SAP NOTE for this .how to search SAP NOTE. give me the full details please.

Release Notes
Use
Release notes describe the new functions and changes in each SAP release. Using the Help menu, you can display release notes for any SAP application and release. You can also search for release notes using keywords and attributes.
Whenever you receive a new SAP release, you should review the release notes. The release notes describe new functions that may affect the task you perform in the system. They also describe how to change Customizing and installation parameters before upgrading from one SAP release to another.
Procedure
You can display release notes in the SAP Library or from within the SAP System.
To display release notes in the SAP System, proceed as follows:
From the menu, choose Help ® Release notes.
The Find Release Notes screen appears.
For a list of all release notes, choose Complete list 3.0/3.1 or Complete list from 4.0.
Highlight the release notes for the SAP version you want to see, and choose Choose.
A hierarchical list of the available release notes appears, with plus signs to the left of every item that has sublists.
Display one of the release note sublists by double-clicking it.
The sublist appears, containing release notes, more sublists, or both. You can identify a set of release notes by the fact that no plus or minus sign appears to the left of it.
Repeat step 3 until you see the desired release notes.
Double-click the release notes you want to display.
The release notes appear. To print the selected release notes, choose Print.
Searching for Release Notes
You can search for release notes by keyword or by attribute.
A keyword is a term associated with a release note, such as "Purchasing" for release notes in purchasing.
An attribute refers to the type of information the release note contains. You can narrow the search for release notes by choosing the attributes of the release notes you want to display. For example, a release note has the attribute Changes to Customizing parameters if the new function requires a change in your systems Customizing parameters. Thus, if you want to display all release notes requiring a change to Customizing, you can list all release notes with this attribute.
To search for release notes:
From the menu bar, choose Help ® Release notes.
To search by keyword, choose Full text search.
To search for release notes that contain only a certain type of information, choose Attribute search.
Enter your search criteria (keywords or attributes).
Choose Find.
The system displays any release notes that match your search criteria.

remove the jaxb.jar from the WEB_INF/lib and move
them to your SUNWappserv/lib/endorsed - dir, together
with the following jars:

r xalan.jar
xercesImpl.jar xsdlib.jar
(restart the deploytool if used)

2.An alternative way is to use transaction code Snote

I have downloaded the SAPNOTE 888889 from SNOTE in APO system and i got the message succesfully downloaded.But the note is not available in the list.I want to know where i can check or why its not reflecting in the list.Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

In Tcode SNOTE > GOTO > SAP NOTE BROWSER (CNTRL+F9) and give your sap note number that you can't see and press F8 or execute. you will see the note and status.

SAP PAL : No ScriptServer available. See SAPNote 1650957

Well, the following seems to be a common error to most of the beginners with SAP PAL.
The error itself describes clearly that the scriptserver is not running. But I did refer to note 1650957. Now, my scriptserver is running. I restart HANA instance and now when I run the below query(source : SAP developer guide)

So, I recheck the configuration again and I see that scriptserver is set to 1 and is active :
Did anyone experience the same situation before?
Anyone has an idea on how to fix this?

Hi Susin.
I check both the notes , there is no need of manual coding to that as per my knowledge.
These notes are processed by the system itself.
Pls goto SNOTE ( tcode) then in the menu -> goto -> download sap note.
give the sap note number there and click ok , then it will be downloaded and can be seen in under sap -> New .
Then go into New and select the sap notes that downloaded and execute.
If there are any manual interventions needed then the system will specify that .
Then after executing the note will come under sap - In processing.
If the green tick mark comes the notes is successfully implemented other a waring or error message comes , if error message comes then click on that you will see what all are missing.
Pls kindly let me know what error messages you are getting after executing the note so that we can help you to implement the note successfully.

I am installing NW7.4, usage PI, and during the "define parameters" phase, while checking connection to the database, I get the following pop up error:

I checked sapinst log for more meaningful entries and found the following:

FKD-00024 Unknown attribute SAPNotes in table tMSS_ServerParameters.
Any ideas? OS is Windows 7, and DB is MSSQL 2012 (installed using SAP vb script provided) - pre-requisites checks were executed and I got OK's all around, including for the Windows 7 OS.

The SAPOSS RFC should be configured correctly and the connection test should be successful.
Check the RFC in question. Also ensure that the parameters are maintained correctly in OSS1.
As a workaround, you may try downloading the sap note from Download manager and upload in SNOTE manually.

*Please plan your steps before you execute.
*Make detail notes of all manual changes made to the system.
*Check if you have a recent successfull backup (incase of emergency)
*Export the data from tables before you make any changes (incase you need to revert back).

Update ASE using saphostctrl (SAPNote 1982469)

Hi all, i was trying to update my ASE dbms using the above mentioned note but i can't find the folder called "hostctrl" using the directory indicated (usr\sap\hostctrl\work\<SAPSID>) in which it tells to place the script 'syb_update_db.txt'
I found the saphostctrl executable instead in C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\work but no <SID> folder...

SAP note 1982469 - SYB: Updating SAP ASE with saphostctrl / sapdbctrl
should be used only with Sybase ASE 15.7 SP100 or higher.
