SAPScript: About Longtext Output

Dears,
I want to output longtext in SAPScript in my form.
The length of the text is 120, and I want them output just full of the lines,
And the lines should be 30 columns, and I want to save some space
Is there any method to let these words align both left and right, except to change the font size?
Is there any method to broaden the spaces between words?

Your method is very useful, and the font Courier is just can satisfied my form.
Also, there is a problem, As I print preview the form, the character can full the line space,
but when I print the form, the length is just 3/4 of the line length.
I want to know, is that the problem of the Printer? Different output view for different printer?

HELP about analog output video

Hello, I´m need help about analog output video in Premiere CS5 using Matrox RTX2. I need to crop a video with resolution in 1440x1080 to 4:3 in output analog. But what happens is wrong (I think). My video is in format anamorphic and the other option is 16:9 letterbox. Is there any way to crop the video without using effects. Thanks a Lot and sorry my bad english (my native language is Portuguese).

There are no 4:3 HD specifications. You'll have to put the video into a normal SD sequence, and scale it down till the top and bottom of the video meet the frame. That way the sides will be cut off.

Hello Ashish,
Each process on the ASA should take the CPU for a period of time (while its being processed by the ASA).
When a process does not release the CPU is when a CPU Hog is triggered,
In this case you can see 2 proceses that hold the CPU longer than they should ( you should see a cpu hog threshold value)
In this case the first process has holded the CPU for 7 times ( the longest time being 4100 miliseconds)

CBWFQ: Question about the output of "show policy-map interface" command

Hi everyone,
I have a question about the output of "show policy-map interface" command.
The following is the output of this command and lower side of the output shows
(total queued/total drops/no-buffer drops) 0/342/0
If the packets drop occur due to the situation of no enough buffer,
"no-buffer drops" counted up. But "no-buffer drops" has not been counted up.
The "no-buffer drops" is 0 (zero) but "total drops" are counted as 342.
I guess there are other factors except "no-buffer drops" to add "total drops".
But I can not find any information about "other factors".
So I would like to know the "other factors" added to "total drops".

Questions about input/output streams

In the following tutorial:

It mentions that some methods, such as write(), writeByte(), writeBytes(), and writeChar(), return the low eight bits of the argument to the output stream. I am a little unsure of what exactly that means, might somebody be able to clarify for me?
In addition, I've been encountering the flush() method in some of the byte- and character-streaming objects that deal with buffers. What exactly is the flush() method's purpose, and when might it be used? Thank you.

flush pushes the data out of the buffer. the write methods write to the buffer, when the buffer is full, it flushes itself (usually), or it could block the write methods (in theory). flush just lets you make sure that it's flushed.
I'm not sure there's any reason to worry about high and low bytes in Java most of the time. I suppose, like anything, there's times you need to, but I can't think of any offhand.

About writing outputs to documents...

I have a query about the user inputs and file outputs! I am trying to create generators for some projects of mine which include numbers, randomized variables, and brackets! How would I be able to achieve a random input like
entity color "#" and the # be a randomized number!
or for another example
admin menu
"Main menu"
"Change Server Password"
"Random Password"
"NavyCommander54"
but with a GUI like
Entity Name: Color
or
Admin Menu
"General"
"Change Password"
"Change Max Players"
but it would generate to a file!!!
etc!

Question from the After Effects team about audio output

When you render and export a composition from After Effects that does not have audio content, do you ever enable audio output intentionally (thus creating an empty audio track in the output file)?
If so, why, and what formats do you use?
We're in the process of making some improvements to how audio is handled, and we want to make sure that we haven't broken any common workflows.
(Note: If you're not sure about how to enable audio output, see this page: "FAQ: Why is there no sound (audio) in my output file?" )

For me, I can't think of a common use-case where that would be necessary. I suppose there are times when you want a file to conform to an existing structure, such as when you want to replace media in Premiere, and the new file needs to have the same number of audio tracks as the old file (which you may not have created). Even though that hardly ever happens (I remember replacing proxies when CS3 got the ability to import P2 footage... it was... not very cooperative), I wouldn't want to lose the ability to arbitrarily export an empty audio track, because I'm sure there are other edge cases which I can't think of. But, I wouldn't mind losing it as a default behavior.
It sounds like what you're hinting at is a feature where the render module detects whether there is any audio in the comp before committing to some kind of default audio track export setting. If there is no audio in the comp (or if all the audio in a comp is disabled), it wouldn't export an audio track.
As long as there is a setting to override this behavior (i.e.: enabled / if detected / disabled) that can be built into an export preset, I'd love such a feature.
I, too, often forget to turn on audio export, because most of my comps don't use audio (I sync audio in Premiere, usually) and I don't like having empty audio tracks I don't need. But in the rare cases I do need audio, it's really annoying to go back and re-export the audio because I forgot to turn it on (similar to forgetting to enable an alpha channel, which makes me feel really stupid).

SAPScript ouput + Smartform Output in ONE SPOOL

Hey folks,
I have a single print program and I am using it for 1 SAPScript Layout and 1 Smartform Layout.
Everything works great,except that the outputs get created in 2 separate spools after execution.
Is there any way I can trigger both of them into a single spool?
The SAPScript needs to be get printed first and then the Smartform.
Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
you have to check the outputparameters of the smartform and the sapscript.
You have several options for it. I do not know them all by head.
for smartform you have ssfcompop-tdnewid. if this one is X you create a new spool it it is space it uses an open one.
ssfcompop-tdfinal is to close a spool.
I hope this offers you ebnough help to solve problem.

SAPScript bar code output in PDF format

Hi,
I am working in 4.6D. I am trying to get the zip code bar code symbol to display in PDF as Postnet. When it displays at this point it has the numeric code that would trigger the simm module on a printer to print the corresponding bar code symbol. I need to get this to display in the PDF document as well. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this in SAPScript?
Any help or suggestions well be greatly appreciated.

SAPSCRIPT Print Preview / Output Type Options?

When in a PO, ME23N, I do a Print Preview. For one of our businesses it displays two output types for selection, ZSBL and ZSTK, for another business (consolidated in the same test system) it just displays output without any selection options. Where is the config to point to output type options I checked NACE and TNAPR and they look right....Thanks.

Quick question about my output

I am trying to write a project to calculate 5 birthdays. There are no errors and it calclates the first 4 birthdays fine but when i type in the 5 birthday it comes up with the wrong birthday. Or if i enter the same brithday 5 times it come up wrong

So, the error isn't that hard to find. Look at this:
if (myday > day)
month = month - 1;
if (mymonth > month)
year = year -1;You change the current date. Your first birthday is always correct, but what happens if you first type in 9/25/90 and after that 10/15/90?
The first if statement is true, because 25>15 so you decrease the current date by one. The age for the first birthday is correct, but now you type in the second (10/15/90) I can assure you that a guy with this birthday is exactly 12 years old!
But remember, you decreased the month of the current date by 1, so the variable month holds the value 9 (10-1). Now the second if statement is true, and the year of the date is decreased by 1. So your program would show an age of 11.
It's really simple to correct the mistake just concentrate on these lines:
if (myday > day)
month = month - 1;
if (mymonth > month)
year = year -1;If you can't correct it post again, you will get more help.

A question about Numerical Output format

Hello Expert,
I have the following testing report:
ZYWU_TEST06
data: lv_total type DMBTR.
lv_total = 10990000001.
write: / 'total:', lv_total.
The output is as following:
total: 10990000,001.00
DMBTR is CURRENCY data type with length 13 and decimal 2. My exepection to output is 10,990,000,001.00, rather than 10990000,001.00
Can any expert tell me how to show the result as my expection? (Not mention the way to convert the numerical to Character)

Question about compiler output

What does the following compiler output mean?
Note: test.java uses unchecked or unsafe operations.
Note: Recompile with -Xlint:unchecked for details.
I need to have use of a stack so I am using java's Stack class from the util package.

Ah ok I see that you have to add the <E> notation to make sure the compiler does not give the warning. Can someone explain the concept of the compiler error and the <E> notation.
Also can someone tell me how can you edit posts on this forum?
