Sapscript change source language

Hi,
I have a sapscript form and want to change the basic forms language.
How to do that without creating the form new from scratch?
(Please no answers concerning translastion - I want the form to be restricted to one language which is not the current source language).

Cannot change SAPSCRIPT into German Language

Hi Gurus,
I tried to edit the Sapscript in SE71 to German language but there is an error message below the screen. Also, I have tried to translate it in transaction SE76, but the problem here is all the windows in the original language will be translated into German language. Does anyone know how to translate a certain window only in sapscript? Aside from SE76, do we have any alternatives on how to change the Sapscript in German language? Your help is much highly appreciated.

How can i disable Illustrator from changing my language / keyboard layout.

I have an azerty laptop and a qwerty external keyboard. Switching from any application to illustrator changes the language and therefore also my keyboard layout. No other application does this.

But i have a laptop with azerty layout (Belgian) and an external qwerty keyboard (Brittish).
So i need both languages selected in the System Pref >> Keyboard >> Input source
When "Brittish" is selected and i switch from Apple Mail to Photoshop to Skype to Chrome to ... it all works fine.
Only when i switch to Illustrator it also changes my language/layout from "Brittish" to "Belgian" and stays like that. I need to manually change it back in the menu in Finder.
I like the brittish better (with a qwerty keyboard) because of the shortcuts (eg. sqare brackets -> shortcuts for order in Illustrator are not even on an azerty (Belgian) keyboard).
Any idea?

MS Word: How to change Citation language.

Im a danish person writing an english text in word 2011 on a mac.
The citations show up as (author, year,
s. 275) instead of (author, year,
p. 275). Ive tried toggling fieldcode mode, but word wont let me change the code. Ive searched the web for a solution but all good solutions doesn't work for me. First of all i don't get an "edit field"
option in the right-click-menu.
So there I am. Is there a secret button that i need to toggle or a combination of keys to press, enabling me to edit the fieldcode? (Why did the forum just make this text small???)

If you have more than one language defined for your keyboard input (in Windows this is done via the Control Panel), you can change the language for a given citation to one of those languages via References>Manage Sources>Current List>(Select entry)>Edit>Language
(this is for Word 2010, I expect Word 2011 will be a bit different).
Other than that, you would have to create your own CITATION field for it. To do that:
• press Cmd-F9 (Ctrl-F9 in Windows) to create a pair of field braces (i.e. { }) next to the existing citation (or somewhere else if you prefer)
• select the original citation and press Shift-F9 to expose its field code
• copying & pasting the field code from Word's citation into it, excluding the field braces
• editing the locale code to whichever one you prefer (see

• press F9 to update your citation field
• delete Word's citation (if you don't want to keep it).

have you activated the Gurmukhi keyboard in system preferences/language and text/input sources and then selected it in the "flag" menu at thr top right of your screen?

Change of language in sap script

Hi All,
I have a script and i have to convert it into german language ,can you please tell me how can i do it,
it contains a lot of texts in english, will those texts will also get translated into german langugae if somehow i am able to change the original langugae or i have to change them manually?

thank you all for replying but i know these steps ,the thing which i am looking at is that if i have wirtten a sentence in english.
say if i have written ' the total amount due has to be paid by the vendor' in my form
and if i trasnlate the form into any other langugae then the above written sentence doesnot change into the source langugae
i want is that by any means can these texts be changed automatically on changing the language or do i have to change these sentences manually.

It depends on how the java code is gnerated. If for example months are given with fixed array .... then it will only be english
But then agin you have the source code (.java files) open all java files in the oracle.forms froject and alter to your language then recompile and reacreate the jar (easily done with Jdeveloper)

Hi Ainara,
It is possible to adjust the texts that are delivered by SAP or to maintain your own
customer specific texts. The texts which the notification system uses for e-mails are SAPscript texts with the document class "general text". In order to edit or create new texts, you need the corresponding authorizations for the transaction SE61 (Tools → ABAP Workbench →Utilities →Documentation).
If you decide to maintain your own texts, then you have to enter the technical name in table UPS_CUSTTEXT using transaction SE16
(Tools → ABAP Workbench →Overview → Data Browser).
You can also translate the texts into different languages if required.

You need to download the app Ukelele from
http://scripts.sil.org/ukelele
It includes a set of system keyboard layouts and their flags in the form of .icns files.
You first uncheck the box for Russian in system prefs/language & text/input sources, then put the .keylayout file from the Ukelele set and your own .icns file in Home/Library/Keyboard Layouts. Then logout/login and go to system prefs/language & text/input sources and check the box for the newly added Russian layout.

Avant-window-navigator doesn't start & problems changing gnome languag

hey there everybody!
this is my first post in this forum after a few days trying arch:)
simply love it... doesn't require too much efort(but if it did it would be a pleasure:) )
well let's stick to the issue...
here it goes:
i've searched through the web and i've found that to change my language to portuguese i would have to edit rc.conf so it would be like this:
LOCALE="pt-BR.UTF8"

the problem is that after this it is still in english and when i type locale -a i get this

i haven't found any gnome-i18n alike's so i really need help on this one although i'm confortable with english
the secound problem.. i've installed avant-window-navigator from source but when i try to start it or use configuration tools i get this
Failed to execute child process "avant-window-navigator" (No such file or directory)

i can show you my PATH:

Changing keyboard language permanently

When I bought my used Mac Pro, I unfortunately set it up in USA Extended English, but I live and work in Italy, so every day, every time I restart the computer, I have to change the keyboard language, otherwise it doesn't recognize all the accents etc. etc. Every day, many times a day, change the language, throw out the original setting IUSA Extended and every time I restart... bam, there it is again and it hasn't remembered my Italian keyboard. I'm pretty tired of changing the keyboard settings every day, every time I restart. Is there a way of resetting the language of the computer without reinstalling EVERYTHING?

He said do not mess with that ! then I got a text from somewhere to reset 4 pins suddenly it was very strange I said to him that I got this pin this morning but it said you can use maximum 3 hours it had a UK number and I told him I do not like this and will not enter the code he said do not do it if it is from the UK and then I said to him ok you did a lot to help but we can not go any further ! and we cut of I went back to my computer to re do the ID but I found everything a mess so I call and a stupid sounding Japanese women with a squeaky voice came on I was calm at first and they want your phone number your IMEI number your iPhone serial number date of birth Address email address it takes 10 munutes to check then they ask what are you caling about so I try to explain my keychain is broken or problems with language security questions and can not change my pasword because the security question have failed me so it is ONE BIG HEADACHE AND I START I GET STRESSED she says Do want an ENGLISH speaker ,I say yes ,that guy i talked to earlier but I never got his name and first time I ever talked to him but they said he is not here so I said ok and then she said today is sunday so call back in the morning ,I said ,well ok in Japanese but they make you feel stupid because they do not want to speak Jap@anese with none natives and they are to busy,And they feel that I should not bother them ,then I say that Apple Japan is trying to refuse Apple foreign customers and then she wants to hang up and ask me to visit the shop ,but they are the same I have a very bad time with Apple Japan since they do not discuss software problems or security with customer meaning if you have a problem they ask you to come on a time 20 minutes max so they do hardware test and say you phone is fine then I say no I can not reset my ID they say you must call call centre so I am going around in circles ,When I call English it is usually Australia so if my problem is in Japan surely if do not want me to talk to them in Japanese and they ask me to call Australia but every time my call charge is expensive after asking them is this free because I have Apple care they say yes but when the call goes to Australia 0120 277 535 it might change to paid call so I call then I have to ask is this charging they say we can not give you that information ! so what can I do I have have been at the computer and phone all day on my day off work and in tre week I am so busy and can not use my phone I can not work without it ,this new technology for you ,they can not cope with the fact that the customer have problems yet they do not want to deal with us because they can not solve it and so it shows them to be useless they like to walk around in their cool tee shirts and retro shop but when it comes to functionality we are unwelcome they got the money so do not return because apple is perfect that nothing should go wrong .
But it does somehow my English security answers do not work on a Japanese Question especialy if I did not choose that question I set up the multiple choice In English and wrote the answers in English or Roman and set them langauge preferences in English, do you really think you can correctly write english name or word in Japanese they write a police patrol car pato caa パトカア　they do not have r and l .So it is my choice to make my security easy for me and as difficult for others to hack.But they also have patororoo choo meaning ' now patrolling ' so why they have pato caa patrol car and patoro patrol and have thousands of Chinese words kanji they can find patrol.
I am getting off the topic but I am at a loss to fix this problem when they hold the keys and i have all the info to verify my ID.

How to change sap-language parameter at runtime

I want to create a Change Language button on an webdynpro Application. I know that the parameter is determined during url creation, but i need the to give the user the posibility of changing the language without closing the browser and logging out etc.
My idea is to us an Outbound plug assigned to lets say a Button. The plug is connected to an Inbound plug og the very same Window. So actually the Application will reload.
The action on the button is like this
data: l_language type sy-langu.
l_language = cl_wd_runtime_services=>get_url_parameter( name = 'sap-language' ).
wd_this->fire_language_plg( ).
Then i read the current language - i.ex: E
But of course i will need to change the parameter sap-language to the new language - lets say: K
But how?

As far I know, there is no way to get the current url in browser. Alternately, you can get the url parameters and then construct the url with the parameters.
write the below code in HANDLEDEFAULT method of Window:
DATA: lt_parameters TYPE tihttpnvp.
*Get URL params
Wdevent->get_data(
EXPORTING name = if_wd_application=>all_url_parameters
IMPORTING value = lt_parameters ).
*Construct URL

How to change PO Language Key

Hi people , hope anyone can help with this. How can i change de Language Key at the comunications TAB on the PO Header ? it`s grey from the start and i´m not being able to change it , even before i enter the Vendor. I´ve checked the IMG config menus and it`s marked as "Optional" but still i´m not being able to change it. I know this language key comes from the vendor master , but the idea of my client is to be able to change it while doing the PO . Is it posibble ? thanks a lot !
