SAPSCRIPT Courrier Font Spacing

Hello, I'm facing an issue when I'm trying to print and also print preview a sapscript using the Font COURRIER, it is supposed to be monospaced but the space between words is not using just a character. Could someone help me with it?
Ex.
"Дата виник-" -> Just one space between words
Print Preview
"Дата     виник-"
Paragraph  SK
Family     COURIER
Font Size  8,0   pt
Best Regards
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
for cyrillic signs use COURCYR, not COURIER.

    I've been using Flash since '99 and every now and then a Mac OS update will ruin the files, completely changing the font spacing inside Flash. Anyone else have this and know of a fix? If not, it means spending an unbelievable amount of time re-typesetting potentially hundreds of documents.

  • Bug in Code View font spacing - very annoying...

    Hello,
    I encounter a really annoying bug in the last version of Dreamweaver CC. The font in Code View is too spaced in the new version...
    See below for screenshots from CS6 and CC to see the difference.
    I'm using the font Courier New 9pt in both version...
    Please advise.

    I've managed to change the font to "Source Code Pro" in the Regeditor here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC\Font Preferences.
    Style, the font is not as good as it was with Courier New... And Courier New is not working... I'm looking to have a normal Courier New in CC... Or at least anothe similar font... Not light as Source Code Pro...
    Thanks

    you will see that korean font in ( ) cannot read
    please help.

    Hi,
    In addition to Korean font like KPBATANG, the language key of the used form(sapscript or smartform) must be KO. Also the PDF must be created by a Korean device type like e.g. KPSAPWIN.
    If you have a Unicode system, then the Unicode cascading fonts device type SWINCF or PDFUC can be used to create the PDF. In this case the language of the form is not so important.

  • Font Spacing Inconsistent in pdf Print Out-How to Fix

    I have a hard copy of a pdf that was probably made from many different pdfs (and or cut and paste from) and Word docs.  On some of the pdf pages, the fonts have blank spaces between the letters of a word and sometimes two words without a space between them.
    On some pages, this type of text and regular text are on the same page.  In other pages, that probably came from the same source, all the text on all the pages is spaced irregularly.
    What is the most probable cause of this and how do we fix it.  One source of irrigular spacing docs are probably pdfs themselves. In the case where both irregular and regular text are on same page, I'm guessing it was a cut and paste job.
    I suspect the text looks ok on the screen but cannot be sure since I don't have the electronic version.  How do I tell them how to fix this?
    Thanks,
    Abby

  • Font spacing issues

    Have run into an interesting issue that I haven't been able to get to the bottom of.
    The font in question is "Century Gothic", a fairly well-known and used font. When using the "regular" setting, everything seems to space out just fine. But if I attempt to use Bold, Italics, or Bold Italics, the character spacing goes nuts:
    Here is a bit of test text in Pages:
    Here is the same text (copy/pasted) into a Word 2011 document:
    Of particular interest is that when either is printed - they print exactly as they look on-screen, complete with spacing issues.
    Also notice that the "Bold" doesn't appear as "bold" in the Word document, but spacing is much better.
    Any suggestions what might be the issue?

    For your “Century Gothic” font, there may exist, typographic hints that Pages needs enabled for this font to achieve the correct visual presentation. Type ⌘+T to bring up the Fonts panel. Select the gear pull-down and select Typography. Perhaps the Pages and TextEdit teams have digressed in their design goals.
    A pop-up panel will offer a (variable by font) list of available settings, or none.

  • [SOLVED] Odd font spacing in gnome-terminal

    Hi guys, i'm new to Arch and i'm loving it: everything is working flawlessly apart from monospaced fonts that look more spaced than what i'm used to (Ubuntu), here is what i'm talking about:
    I tried -lcd and -ubuntu packages, changed hintstyle to both full/medium/slight but all to no avail, do you have any ideas?
    Here is my configuration, that i'm using in Ubuntu and Arch right now:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE fontconfig SYSTEM "fonts.dtd">
    <fontconfig>
    <match target="font">
    <edit name="autohint" mode="assign"><bool>false</bool></edit>
    <edit name="antialias" mode="assign"><bool>true</bool></edit>
    <edit name="hinting" mode="assign"><bool>true</bool></edit>
    <edit name="hintstyle" mode="assign"><const>hintslight</const></edit>
    <edit name="lcdfilter" mode="assign"><const>lcddefault</const></edit>
    <edit name="rgba" mode="assign"><const>rgb</const></edit>
    </match>
    </fontconfig>
    Thank you in advance!
    <edit>
    Some clarifications: the configuration does get applied, so it's not due to misplaced configuration files, the font tracking just doesn't look right.
    The depicted font in the screenshots is Menlo, but any other monospaced font, such as the Droid Mono, will look wrongly spaced.
    </edit>

    Oh well, it seems i got it: it seems that just selecting a size of 7.5 instead of 8 get exactly the same spacing as if using a size of 8 in Ubuntu, this without installing any -ubuntu/-lcd/-cleartype patches, only vanilla arch packages.
    The dumb gnome-3 new font selector will *not* permit selecting intermediate sizes and won't let you enter "7.5", so fire up gconf-editor and just change the value for apps.gnome-terminal.profiles.Default to be, as in my case, "Menlo 7.5".
    Finally, sensible spacing in my terminals!

  • SapScript - Polish fonts without Polish logon language installed

    Hi,
    (the problem regards any languages with non-standard fonts e.g. cyrilic)
    How to insert Polish fonts in SAPscript being logged in English - there is no Polish logon language installed on the system.
    When editing Polish version of the form and entering Polish fonts (directly or by copy/paste) only "bushes" are displayed.
    Is it possible to edit SAPscript form in different language version than logon language - I mean to obtain fonts specific for the form language?

    Hi
    Yes it is!
    The language used by sapscript doesn't depend on logon language, but it is that you transfer to fm OPEN_FORM, but your sapscript have to be translated in that language. If there isn't a versione in the language the system run the version in original language.

    Hi pankaj2008_singh,
    the chances that you get an answer for your question in this forum are very little.
    Please post your SAPscript questions in forum ABAP Development -> Form Printing.
    In spite of the name, SAPscript is not a scripting language.

  • How to generate a report with Courrier font and no horizontal lines?

    Hi guys,
    In a wizard-generated report, I want to accomplish the following things.
    1. Print table data (I'm only printing one column) in a non-proportional font (e.g. Courrier).
    2. Suppress the vertical lines that Apex automatically puts in between each record.
    How can these two things be accomplished?
    Thanks,
    Kim
    P.S. I'm running Apex 4.1.

    Fair enough. I'll try to be more specific. Assume you're running a query from SQL Developer on a single column from a single table. In the table, the data is already formatted to be displayed using a non-proportional font (old-time religion here). SQL Developer will show the contents of the column formatted exactly like the author intended (non-proportional font and no "helpful" horizontal lines between the rows). That's exactly what I want Apex to do. In the rectangular area that Apex creates for the report contents display, I want Apex to show the rows from that table in a non-proportional font with no horizontal lines between the rows. The report query will be just about as simple as possible (i.e. select col1 from tab1 order by col 2). How should I go about achieving this result?
    Thank you so much!

  • [SOLVED] Urxvt Font Spacing

    Hello all!
    I'm trying to get the artwiz-edges font working in Urxvt. Here's the line in my .Xdefaults:
    URxvt.font:xft:artwiz-edges-medium-r-normal--*-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1
    Issue is, when I restart and run Urxvt, the font is spaced apart very widely. Can someone please explain to me how to fix this?
    Last edited by rednano12 (2010-07-09 20:07:27)

    Is artwiz edges really a truetype font? If it is then you maybe the format of the URxvt.font argument is wrong and should be something like URxvt.font: xft:Artwiz Edges:size=11. If it's not maybe you should drop the "xft" from the argument. And don't forget to remerge your .Xresources or .Xdefaults (xrdb -merge .Xresources).

  • Weird font spacing - help needed

    Hi,
    I've been struggling with this for a while so would appreciate any help, I imagine this is quite a common problem. Basically, I'm developing a website which has quite a complex architecture and will involve generating graphs/charts as png images on the fly, dependent on user input.
    To do this we're running weblogic 6.1, jdk 1.3, solaris 8 and an application called netcharts server (which is the charting engine). When a user requests a chart, the charting engine takes the parameters, does its thing to bring back the data and calls a servlet which uses AWT to generate the png image.
    On windows, everything is fine, the images look great. However, seeing as the solaris box is running remotely without a display we use xvfb (running on display :1) to simulate an X server. The problem is that the fonts on the generated graphs look very weird - they're not the fonts I expect, and the spacing is very irregular, making the charts look really bad.
    Does anyone know how to configure either the fonts.properties or set up solaris properly so it outputs nice looking fonts? I dont know if theres any patches to fix this - if someone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful!!

    What have you done between when it worked fine and when it doesn't? Do you have the same system version on both machines? Have you done any regular maintenance of the computer? Have you tried deleting the Font cache? Onyx is a free application that you can use for maintenance.

  • Smartform font spacing Issue when using SAP printer name

    Hi Friends,
    I am facing some spacing issues when printing a form using SAP printer name. If I use LOCL then the output comes perfectly but when I use the SAP printer name the space between characters are getting widened and so the alignment of each column goes wayward. I suspect it could be due to the device type but not sure which seeting controls this. There is a similar problem in the logo as well. When using LOCL the logo comes out good but when using the printer name the quality is not good and becomes pixelised. Have any of you faced similar issues? Can you provide some guidance or pointers for the solution.
    Device type of LOCL : ZSAPWIN
    Device type of SAP printer name :  ZHPLJ5
    CPI is defined in smartform as 10.
    Please let me know if you need more information.
    Thanks,
    Praveen

    Hi,
    This problem occurs because the printer driver for both the printers are different,
    I suggest you use Local printer only or configure any other printer with printer diver in SAP as SAPWIN.
    Regards,
    Bharat.

  • Wrong font spacing in terminator

    Hi, today i upgraded my system. After i relogged terminator font looked like this:
    http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/gg5 … eb70a5.png
    The problem seems to be just with terminator, as xterm is showing fonts quite correctly.
    The font terminator is using is monospace. I also tried  the system fixed width and some other fonts but with no results.
    thank you
    edit: installed profont from community repository and it seems to fix the problem with terminator.  Screenfetch show that i don't have any font...is this normal?

    It worked! Going through and manually disabling the fonts helped me figure out what the problem font was (a duplicate copy of Times), though I needed to go through fontbook instead of home/library/fonts. Thanks!
