SAPSCRIPT intitial problem

I go to SE71 and create a new form named "ZFORM3". when i click on create it says "FORM LANG EN is not available in client 800" .I know sum ppl hv to import a predefined form n then customize it. But is it cumpulsory coz i want to create my own sapscript from scratch.
Secondly even after that message comes it takes me to form editor where some buttons r missing i guess. eg. i get buttons like paragraphs,character format but do not get WINDOWS and PAGE button at the top. Is it because of the language prob in client which was notified earlier ??

we can develope a scripts from scratch.. there is no rule that we should copy standard forms and customize it..
when comes to your problem you better approch basis guy..

SAPscript Output Problem - Very Urgent - Please help

I am having the following problem with SAPscript.
In the Main Window, I have instructions to the printer in the ZPL2 language (For Zebra Printer).
There are also several variables, which are highlighted in Gray and enclosed in the&.
There are also several elements all of them empty except for the one where this code is.
Now, I received this program to modify in terms of code and the output.
IF you have never done any work with Zebra Printing, the way it is done is that you create a label using the Zebra BarOne or Zebra Designer program, then output it to an itf file, upload it into a standard text as .itf and copy the uploaded contents to the main window. When printing to a Zebra printer, the Zebra printer will read the instructions and will print the output.
Here is the problem: The config for the output type is correct.
When doing a printing test from SAPscript, I get the right output and the Zebra printer is able to print it.
However, the real process for this task will go through MB02. There, if I create a spool request using the proper method (select output type and etc.), it will go the spool. However, if I print preview or output (doesnt work with the Zebra printer, so I have to output to the Laser printer), it will output the following (none of the following includes any of the ZPL2 code/instructions. Instead, it seams to print the variables contents with the field name next to it This isnt whats its the Main window!!!)

Ok, maybe I have confused others in regards to the issue as well.
We expect this label to be output from a Zebra Printer.
When output through Sapscripts printing test, the preview from the spool shows the ZPL2 code in small font (non readible if a created a screenshot) and if sent to the Zebra Printer, it prints the label correctly.
When output through MB02, the preview from the spool shows the code that I have attached to the 1st post in this thread. If I try to output to the Zebra Printer, nothing happens because the ZPL2 instructions are not even in the preview and therefore, the Zebra printer recieves no instructions. I should not have mentioned the laser printer, because it has nothing to do with this issue.
I hope that this makes the issue a little more clear and understandable. Please help.
Here is the ZPL2 coding before uploading to standard text (only difference is that once uploaded, the '/' characters are removed.) However, I believe that the problem may lie in the print program and how it compiles but I debugged and haven't really seen where it comes from:

Sapscript printing problem

I made a graph window in a sapscript form.When i print it i have the following problem :
I can't see the "MAIN WINDOW" only. I mean that i can see all the other elements EXCEPT the main window .
Please help me .....

Hi,
Just check wheather the internal table you are trying to display in the main window is empty by mistake.
just try to put some charcter in the main window and test wheather it is printing or not .

SapScript address problem

Hello,
To print a 'bill-to' address on an invoice I'm using the ADDRESS...ENDADDRESS command within my SAPScript form. To specify an address, I use the ADDRESSNUMBER parameter. Although the address is printed, I have a problem: I would like to add the name of the addressee to the address (on the second line of the address).
Normally this is done by using the PERSON parameter, but because I'm using the ADDRESSNUMBER parameter, I think the PERSON parameter is omitted. Does anybody know how to solve this problem.

I think you may want to play around with the PRIORITY parameter. Or you can specify the contents of each field you want and limit ADDRESS to formatting only. See the documentation.

Program control - SapScript assigned problem.

I assigned a Z program control (A) to Z SapScript, and works fine. I must to change Z program control (B) and I assigned it to Z Sapscript. My problem is because when I assigned Z program to Z Sapscript with TX SE71 - Layout - Text - print program selection dialog, the standar program SAPMV45A is over my Z program (B). Z program (B) is a copy from YBAA_RVADOR01, for sales order form.
Problem is when I print, SapScript texts are not sending from my Z program control (B), and form look empty.
Some body can help me please?.

Sapscript MEDRUCK/Zedruck Sapscript printing problem

Hi,
I have a problem in SAP version ECC SAP ECC 6.0 with the PO print program SAPFM06P and the sapscript ZEDRUCK. From within ME23N when I do a print preview of the PO everything looks OK, however when I print it out to a HP Laserjet 1320n there is a strange number '4099' printed to the left of some of the fields, for example in the print preview I see 'Terms of Deliv.: FOB' but on the printed version I see '4099Terms of Deliv.: FOB'.
These characters appear in other places on the PO as well. We dont have this problem on other sapscripts i.e invoices, quotations etc.

SapScript Logo problem

I am having a problem with several Sapscripts that we use. We have just upgraded from 46c to ECC 6.0.
In 46c, the company logo would print and on the same line some text would also print.
Example:
LOGO Commercial Invoice Page 1 of 1
In ECC 6.0, the logo still prints correctly but I cannot get any text to print on the same line as the logo.
Example:
LOGO
All the code int the scipts are exactly the same.
Has anyone had a similar problem?

Sapscript font problem

Hi friends! I have a problem here with sapscript form. I have an form and in preview print on screen is Ok, but when I print it on a printer, some line has font size much bigger, with this report is out of layout. Why in screen preview is Ok but in printer is bigger font? Font missing?

than the size required.

The "vertical print compression" field is not set to 100 per cent. The
vertical and horizontal compression can stretch or compact the document
size and effect the font.
To solve this problem, please perform the following steps:
Go to Administration > System Initialization > Print Preferences > General tab.
Check the "Print With Vertical Compression" field and change it as desired.

MIRO sapscript form problem

Hello, a form is generated each time an invoice is created. Now, we have a problem in the production environment concerning certain values appearing in the form. The case is not reproductible. Which other transaction can i use to print the form(+ i would be able to debug to find the problem ) .For example, i know that certain 'correspondence' transactions allow you to print a form based on message type.

first: check you have activated your SAPScript
second: check you print the language you have activated
(if not translate again your SAPScript)
third: check you have transport the SAPScript in the good client (SAPScript is client dependent)

in sapscript in the grand total it shud appear like this.

ie: everytime it gets printed (numerical value upto 10 crores) the first digits if they are not numerics (like the example sited)
has to appear like '*'.

SAPSCRIPT-printout problem in collective invoice

Hi,
We have created a new output in SAPSCRIPT for the printout of the invoice.All the datas are fetching and getting printed correctly if i am selecting only one invoice.If there are for ex--4-5 collective invoices printout then for the 1st invoice everything is coming fine in proper place...but from 2nd page i.e 2nd invoice the subject is getting printed 2-3 lines up where exactly the 1st page has been printed...likewise...3rd page it is getting printed 4-5 lines up..
User is taking printout in Dot-matrix printer

Check in the print preview for all the pages then after that take the print out of the invoices....if the issue is the same
Check with basis team whether the page format in the script supports the dot matrix printer..

Sapscript layout problem

Hi Guys,
i have one commercial invoice layout , but problem is with Ship-to-party address.
In Print Preview and in Debugging Adress is printing correctly, but when i take the output from a line printer, Address is changing to some other address.
the output in print preview is correct as per the billing document.
Pl suggest some idea. Trying but not able to solve.

Write a perform to get address details.
In perform write code as below.
Pass customer number and pass the partner function WE to VBPA and take the address number.
Then pass this address number to ADRC, then address date in script.

The language of sapscript and program haven't a link, so you shoudn't need to change the language of the program.
Anyway if you logon in english and try to change the program, the system'll ask you if you want to change the original language

SAPscript text problem

Hello,
I am using the graphical editor for entering notification tasks. Normally, I copy and paste content from an e-mail. After saving the notification and exiting from it when I re-enter the notification in display or change mode, the text in the notification task is distorted, some characters are missing and some additional characters are displayed. Essentially the formatting is lost.
Is this a problem due to the copy and paste from e-mail? How can I circumvent this problem?

Hello Joy,
If I need to add more text to an already existing text, I am not able to do so using the graphical editor. Only the line editor allows me to add more lines. Is this true or am I doing something wrong?
Also I would like to know if it is possible to edit already existing text using the graphical/ line editor?

the o/p came like this...
but i defined all the fields with length..
2. Here one more pble. Insp Date is not coming in first page but second page its coming ... what is reason for this ??
