SAPScript: logo color in Print Preview ???

Hi all,
when i am viewing the logo in SE78 it is coming with proper Color, but as i am viewing the same logo in Print Preview of Layout, it is appearing without color with distored image. Any Ideas??

Hi all,
If see color image in print perview in SP01, i will not get the clear image but if same spool request e-mail as pdf then in attachment i can see clear color for logo.

We have uploaded a logo to be shown in the footer. We are able to see the logo in the print preview, but when we print the invoice (SAP Script), it is not seen in the hard copy. We tried by saving it as a pdf, even in the pdf, it is not displayed.
We are on SAP 4.7
Please help.

Am not sure what the exact issue could be, but i am expecting there may not be sufficient space to fit the logo. I suggest you to check the output by placing the logo in header whether its coming or not in hardcopy, that may help you.

Colors in print preview not matching colors in soft proofing

Hi There,
Just wanted to print a new photo and realized that the colors in print preview do not match the colors in soft proofing. In both cases I selected the same icc profile and rendering method. The print colors matched the colors in print preview. I never had a problem so far. All new prints will be checked with soft proofing and adjusted when necessary. I never paid attention to the color rendition in print preview and all prints perfectly matched the colors from the soft proofing. I was surprised when my print came out of the printer and the colors weren't matching the soft proofing colors, but that of the print preview.
I don't understand why Photoshop renders the colors differently in the first place. Please see attached screenshot for the difference in the blue/cyan colors.
I would appreciate if anybody could point me in the right direction in what is causing this difference. I don't care if the print view colors will match the print, but I do care when soft proofing is not working.

Here are some addtional details:
PS 13.1.2
Mac OS X 10.8.4
12 GB Ram
60 GB free disk space
I printed the same photo from two other computers (MacBook and iMac) with different PS versions (CS4 and CS5). The prints turned out identical to the first one which matches the print preview color rendition on my main computer (MacPro) running CS6. Strangely the colors in print preview of CS5 on the iMac renders the colors identical to the soft proofing colors.

Logo appearing in print preview but not in print for Xerox Workcentre M118

Hello experts,
I am not able to print logo(in .bmp) format in Xerox Workcentre M118 PCL 6 printer. It is displaying accurately in print preview. While taking print out only grey background is coming, no trace of logo. Can anyone suggest, what are the print related settings needed in SPAD or any other transaction needed to print graphics. The logo is coming accurately if it is stored in pdf and then printed.

To print logos using the SMARTFORMS, we need to first upload that logo onto the application server. The steps to upload the logo onto the application server are as follows:
1. Go to transaction SE78
2. Select the desired graphic in the tree (for example, BMAP)
3. Choose GRAPHIC --> IMPORT
4. Enter the name of the graph and the description
5. Select the type of the image (black/white or color)
Now the logo is uploaded onto the application server. To print this logo using the SMARTFORM, create a graphic node in the window and enter the name of the image you had just uploaded. Your logo should now print.

SAPScript: Overlapping Windows and Print Preview

Hello,
i've got a problem with an existing SAPScript-form.
My Z-form has got an overlapping window where a bitmap prints
"NACHDRUCK" (in english: reprint) diagonally over my MAIN-window.
The responsible person isn't satisfied with this modification, because
in the preview the bitmap overlaps the MAIN-window and so she must
print the document to see the details from MAIN.
Can anybody please tell me,
how i can solve the problem to show the MAIN-window before
the overlapping "WATERMARK"-window in the preview???

thanks for your answer,
but in CO04 (reprint) with production-orders
the printpreview has got every time the value 'X'.
I mean every time you want to print an production-order
the preview appears. - now without the watermark -
But if you want to print the document afterwards the print routine
doesn't start anymore an so the
document appears without an watermark!
I hope you've got more suggestions?

Sapscript logo printing reverse

In a sapscript, I am using a logo. In print preview, its coming fine but when it is printed, it is coming reverse.
What could be the problem and possible solutions? I have seen some threads here related to that but I would like to know if those solutions solved their problems.

Print preview vs print

Hi Experts,
I have a problem when trying to see the result of mijn sapscript or smartform via print preview.
The result of the print preview is very different from the real print (if i print the same form).
By sapscript i get the text : display text as abap list in the screen of the print preview.
Via print preview i cannot see the frames for example ..etc.
How could i solve this problem?

Hi,
Please ensure that you are giving the same printer name for both print & View, as the device type used in that printer will decide how it is displayed. i.e. your print preview may be different if you use 2 different printers having different device types.

does anybody know if it's possible that the print preview of an invoice (vf03) is in color ?
we are using sapscipt for out output
the logo is uploaded as color but it shows black/white on the print preview screen

why do you want to preview in color as sapscript doesn't print in color? (sapscript does not support color, use smart form instead or other newest technology)

Sapscript Logo upside down with reverse color

Hello experts,
In ECC6, my colleage and I tested a sapscript logo on the same black&white printer. However, the printouts came out differently. My laptop produced a correct logo, but my colleage's one produced an upside down logo with reverse color. This is the statement we used in the form. Do you know if we miss something to check for? Please help!

Hi ,
First go to se78 and check the uploaded logo in the print previw. If it is fine then instead of defining the incluide statement manually
open the window where you want to include the logo then select the path include ->Graphics then select your logo
If logo appears in the upside down then the problem is in uploading.

have to change the company logo.
I uploaded new logo at se78 using bmp format. then rename the logo in the design of se71(sapscript).
Logo appears when i print preview it in me23n but when i print it, it disappears.
do i miss any step.

Hi Aashta,
I also faced the same problem 1 year back this problem is with the printer driver
just check with the diff printers, or ask the IT ppl to reinstall the printer driver.
You also may face the situation in which image is coming in the print but it is reverse
again it is the problem with the printer driver.

Hp laserjet pro 200 color mfp m276nw no print preview

Hello Folks,
I have windows 7 64 bit HP laserjet pro 200 color mfp m276nw and do not see a print preview option. Is there a way to get this? In Linux I use print to ps file and ghostscript to view. Our oldink jet had a print preview option. I did see a message for another printer that there is no solution. Any help would be appreciated.

I understand that you would like to know if the printer has a print preview option. I can help you.
You would have to use the print preview, from the application that you are printing from, under File, Print Preview.
Most applications have this feature.

No data display in Print preview for sapscript

Hi All
I have copied a standard sapscript and the driver program (RVADAUS1) and made some minor changes to both.
Now when i print preview it, no data is displayed. I checked in debugger, the data is present till perform WRITE_FORM but is not there in sap script.
Please help!!

The data is coming in driver program..I have debugged both driver prog and the sapscript..The data is present in the driver program in the Read statement just before the write_form function module is called to fill in the data in sapscript..But when i debugged sapscript, the data is not coming there.. even the window boundaries are not printed..Only a single line present in MAin window is being printed. Rest all is empty.

In Smartform able to see the logo in print preview but logo not printing.

I am able to see the logo for all other smart forms i have developed using the same printer. But the problem is only with this Form. If the printer settings are not correct i should not be able to get the output for any form using that printer.

SAPScript - Print Preview 2 Pages - Physical Print overlap as 1 Page

HI Experts,
I have a problem with Invoice SAPScript Printing - where the print preview is good with 2 Pages,
But when it physical prints out - Only 1 page and overlapping the Second page content to the first.
Any idea where did I miss out?

Sheelesh is right.
I had both SAPScript and Smartform issue with the overlapping printing.
What you need to do is to check your page format to see if it is the correct size for the specific printer.
If it is too big for the printer paper size - it will overlap the printing as 1 page.
For example : A4 Lanscape printing on normal HP Laser Printer - DINA4 Landscape should be used.
Or at least when you define your own page format - refer to the correct size and orientation.

Sapscript modification not displaying in invoice print preview

Hi everyone,
I have created a new sapscript and assigned it as a routine to an output type in IMG. The testing part went fine and print preview was OK both through SE71 form preview tool and VF03 (billing document). However I noticed I had to make some changes to the text on the form (layout corrections) so, I went back to my form in SE71, did the changes and this time I'm able to see the modifications within the print preview tool of SE71 but can't see anything while launching print preview in VF03, like I hadn't corrected anything !
It seems that there's somehow a connection missing somewhere between my newly modified sapscript form and the actual print output of the corresponding billing document associated to it via the output type, but I can't figure out which one!!
Any hints / help would be higlhy appreciated !

Hi,
Did you activate the form after making the changes? If you don't activate, it will look fine in SE71 but the application will use the older actvated form.
Also, if the form exists in more than one language, check that you updated the one with the correct language key.
