SapScript Logo problem

I am having a problem with several Sapscripts that we use. We have just upgraded from 46c to ECC 6.0.
In 46c, the company logo would print and on the same line some text would also print.
Example:
LOGO Commercial Invoice Page 1 of 1
In ECC 6.0, the logo still prints correctly but I cannot get any text to print on the same line as the logo.
Example:
LOGO
All the code int the scipts are exactly the same.
Has anyone had a similar problem?

In ECC6, my colleage and I tested a sapscript logo on the same black&white printer. However, the printouts came out differently. My laptop produced a correct logo, but my colleage's one produced an upside down logo with reverse color. This is the statement we used in the form. Do you know if we miss something to check for? Please help!

Hi ,
First go to se78 and check the uploaded logo in the print previw. If it is fine then instead of defining the incluide statement manually
open the window where you want to include the logo then select the path include ->Graphics then select your logo
If logo appears in the upside down then the problem is in uploading.

Sapscript logo inverted

Hi. We were having problem with the printing of logo in sapscript. WHen we use LOCL the company logo is inverted. We had this problem when we replaced the printer we r using as LOCL. Please advise what to do. What are the possible solutions to this problem?

Solution
This HP printing issue is fixed in BJ 1100 driver version Armstrong R233-L, in BJ990, in BJ 2550, and in BJ4050.
We certainly require answers to the below questions and a contact person with mail and phone address.

Please be so kind and give us some feedback about the results.
If the printer drivers didn't fix your problem, please be so kind and send us the following information:
1. printer model
2. a detailed description of the issue
3. steps to reproduce (ie. Which transaction are they printing from?
Can it be reproduced from SE78 with the logo only - if logo related, etc.)
4. which device type is used. In case of SAPwin, see below
5. a copy of the intermediate saplpd output files
To capture the SAPlpd files, please run SAPlpd from the command prompt BEFORE you start the print job. This is how to do it: at the command prompt, type "saplpd.exe -k" (without the quotation marks). When you print, two files will be created. You can find them in the directory where SAPlpd runs. On my PC, this is C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\SAPlpd The two files will have the same name except for the ".slp" extension of one of them.
6. a hardcopy example of the print out
7. if the issue is logo related, a copy of the logo for testing
8. a copy of the printer's configuration and menu pages
The printer's configuration and menu pages, We need the test pages from the printer which will tell us which firmware it has, which settings are used on the printer etc., not the screenshots from the SAP device setup.
If you use SAPwin:
9. which Windows version is used and which SP
10. which driver - pcl5/pcl6/PostScript, and which version?
The version number can be found here: Open the printers folder, open the printer properties, click the "About" tab (all the way to the right). At the top of the next screen you will see something like 60.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx. This is the driver version number. If you want to add more information, a driver test page will show the version numbers of the different files used.

SAPSCRIPT logo gets distorted in fax

Hi,
I am trying to fax an SAPSCRIPT which contains a color logo. In SOST, the logo is coming distorted. The resolution of the logo is 75 dpi and size is 5.08 x 2.88 cm. I don't want to change the resolution and size. Kindly provide me some pointers to this problem

SAPscript Output Problem - Very Urgent - Please help

I am having the following problem with SAPscript.
In the Main Window, I have instructions to the printer in the ZPL2 language (For Zebra Printer).
There are also several variables, which are highlighted in Gray and enclosed in the&.
There are also several elements all of them empty except for the one where this code is.
Now, I received this program to modify in terms of code and the output.
IF you have never done any work with Zebra Printing, the way it is done is that you create a label using the Zebra BarOne or Zebra Designer program, then output it to an itf file, upload it into a standard text as .itf and copy the uploaded contents to the main window. When printing to a Zebra printer, the Zebra printer will read the instructions and will print the output.
Here is the problem: The config for the output type is correct.
When doing a printing test from SAPscript, I get the right output and the Zebra printer is able to print it.
However, the real process for this task will go through MB02. There, if I create a spool request using the proper method (select output type and etc.), it will go the spool. However, if I print preview or output (doesnt work with the Zebra printer, so I have to output to the Laser printer), it will output the following (none of the following includes any of the ZPL2 code/instructions. Instead, it seams to print the variables contents with the field name next to it This isnt whats its the Main window!!!)

Ok, maybe I have confused others in regards to the issue as well.
We expect this label to be output from a Zebra Printer.
When output through Sapscripts printing test, the preview from the spool shows the ZPL2 code in small font (non readible if a created a screenshot) and if sent to the Zebra Printer, it prints the label correctly.
When output through MB02, the preview from the spool shows the code that I have attached to the 1st post in this thread. If I try to output to the Zebra Printer, nothing happens because the ZPL2 instructions are not even in the preview and therefore, the Zebra printer recieves no instructions. I should not have mentioned the laser printer, because it has nothing to do with this issue.
I hope that this makes the issue a little more clear and understandable. Please help.

Logo Problem While sending the smart form as an attachment via Email

Hi ,
I am using the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 to send the smartforma as an attachement into the mailbox . it is sent correctly but the COLOR LOGO are not coming correctlly .
I checked the OTF to PDF file is getting converted correctly .i.e. if i am downloading the foem then it is displaying correctly , but in case of sending it to mailbox as an attached PDF file ,the logo are not comming correctly ,
If anybody faced such type of problem can u please clarify .
I am thinking the problem is in FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 . this FM is not sending the Attached PDF file correctly .
All the TExt/variables are displaying correctly in the PDF file except the LOGO.while opening the PDF file one Warnng message is getting displayed : "An error occured while opening the Image" .

Edit your logo as 256 color bit map image and save it and upload into SE78,
And also better to use this FM :SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 it is good for new versions.

PDF email attachment logo problem

Hi All,
Can any one tell me how to solve the problem with Email attachment in PDF. If i remove the logo of the client in the Smartform i am getting the Email attachment fine but when i put back the image in the smartform the PDF is giving error and not opening the attachment.
The image is working fine in 4.6 system but the problem with ECC6.

SAPscript logo and HR forms

hie guys
i have succesfully uploaded a clients logo thru SE78 as a bit map image however wen i print the form the logo appears to have tiny dots around it. is it because i uploaded the image as a colour image and im printing on a B&W printer?
Secondly the page footers for most of the forms are not showing the clients directors and i have been tasked to find out where i can maintain them, i would like to know where!
lastly could anyone give me some materials to help me out for the HR forms and SAPscripts in general as well??

Check the printer also for the wrong printing of LOGO because certain printers will not print the logo correctly.

Sapscript printing problem

I made a graph window in a sapscript form.When i print it i have the following problem :
I can't see the "MAIN WINDOW" only. I mean that i can see all the other elements EXCEPT the main window .
Please help me .....

Just check wheather the internal table you are trying to display in the main window is empty by mistake.
just try to put some charcter in the main window and test wheather it is printing or not .

SapScript address problem

Hello,
To print a 'bill-to' address on an invoice I'm using the ADDRESS...ENDADDRESS command within my SAPScript form. To specify an address, I use the ADDRESSNUMBER parameter. Although the address is printed, I have a problem: I would like to add the name of the addressee to the address (on the second line of the address).
Normally this is done by using the PERSON parameter, but because I'm using the ADDRESSNUMBER parameter, I think the PERSON parameter is omitted. Does anybody know how to solve this problem.

I think you may want to play around with the PRIORITY parameter. Or you can specify the contents of each field you want and limit ADDRESS to formatting only. See the documentation.

Program control - SapScript assigned problem.

I assigned a Z program control (A) to Z SapScript, and works fine. I must to change Z program control (B) and I assigned it to Z Sapscript. My problem is because when I assigned Z program to Z Sapscript with TX SE71 - Layout - Text - print program selection dialog, the standar program SAPMV45A is over my Z program (B). Z program (B) is a copy from YBAA_RVADOR01, for sales order form.
Problem is when I print, SapScript texts are not sending from my Z program control (B), and form look empty.
Some body can help me please?.

Sapscript MEDRUCK/Zedruck Sapscript printing problem

Hi,
I have a problem in SAP version ECC SAP ECC 6.0 with the PO print program SAPFM06P and the sapscript ZEDRUCK. From within ME23N when I do a print preview of the PO everything looks OK, however when I print it out to a HP Laserjet 1320n there is a strange number '4099' printed to the left of some of the fields, for example in the print preview I see 'Terms of Deliv.: FOB' but on the printed version I see '4099Terms of Deliv.: FOB'.
These characters appear in other places on the PO as well. We dont have this problem on other sapscripts i.e invoices, quotations etc.

Logo problem in script

hi SDNs,
i want position the logo wherever i want. now in my case i cannot create a seperate window. (situation not supporting). but i want put logo on the right side.
i am displaying digital signature..
and one more thing, i have different signatures, based on names this signature has to change. ( names getting from database table )

1. Placing logo depend on where u place the logo window.
If u want to print logo on Right side, place logo window on the right side and include the logo.
2. Regarding the signatures,u have to extract the signatures based on the name and pass them to varible or internal table.And use this in ur window where u want to print the signatures.

SAPScript Logo Turned Around

HI!!
My problem is with the images in my SAPScript, When I see them in screen they have the correct position, but when I print them they leave turned around.
For example, we imagine that the "A" is the correct position of the image. But when I print it I see it turned around "V".

Hi,
Ask your desktop folks to update 'driver' software to the printer in which it's printing upside down. We have had this issue, it vabnished once we updated printer drivers (latest available version from the manufacturer).
