SAPSCRIPT - print of scanned text

Hi Guys,
I have the following problem:
We would like to print the scanned signatures of 2 persons at a orderform (sales order).
The form is an sapscript form.
For every sales order we have 2 persons which are responsible.
Now we would like to print the scanned signatures of these two persons,
as there are several possible combinations of these two persons we don't like to scan the signatures of every possible combination, but every signature in a seperate standard text.
The printout should look like this:
(Signature 1 - standard text 1) (Signature 2 - standard text 2)
Mr. Mueller Mr. Maier
The name of the person should be printed exactly under the includes standard text.

Hi Manuel,
As far as I can see, just need to scan the signatures and make a bitmap for each signature. Then you can upload them to SAP via transaction SE78. Finally you can output the signatures in your sapscript form using the BITMAP command as described in SAP note 307414.

SAPscript MAIN Window ITEM TEXT Printing in NEXT PAGE

Hi,
I need to print the Item Text (Item Description or Column Description) if the Item Values (Lines) goes to the NEXT page in the Form. I have TEXT ELEMENTS defined for ITEM TEXT and ITEM VALUES in the MAIN Window. There is no issue with Printing the Item Text and Item Values in the FIRST Page. But in the NEXT page only when the Item values are printed (Item lines in excess of FIRST page), ITEM TEXT needs to be printed before printing the ITEM VALUES. If the FROM goes to NEXT page but not the Item values, then ITEM TEXT need not be printed in the NEXT page. The number of lines in the MAIN Window is different for both pages (FIRST & NEXT). I am not sure how to get this done. So, please provide me with a suitable solution to get this done. Appreciate your help in advance.

Thanks for your reply. Printing item lines between PROTECT / ENDPROTECT, will lead to Print all the line item together in one page. That is not I wanted. It the line items flows to NEXT page, I need to print the Item Header/Item Text. Otherwise, NEXT page should not have the Item Header.

Printing and scanning size problems (half size)

Hello,
I am having an issue with my Pixma MP170. When printing multiple pages or scanning a paper document, the size come out really small all of a sudden and two pages will be together in one print or scan. I looked for updated drivers but that doesn't look to be the issue and the problem pesists.
I tried to reset the printer to default but nothing.
Not sure how to proceed.

I have had something very like your problem.
Mine is printing quarter size in landscape and is also not scanning or doing copies at the moment..
I can find no way of setting it and it ignores all settings sent from the computer.
It printed one test page correctly and once I tried printing a small text file it came out small and in landscape and now even the test page is also small and also in landscape.
I am tempted to look inside for an engineering jumper or backup battery.
Mine is an MP270.

Having trouble in printing the scanned pages in Acrobat Pro

I m using acrobat pro. I recently started having some trouble in printing the scanned pages in Acrobat. When i am printing a regular (non-scanned) page, it works just fine. If i m printing a scanned page, the print is completely distorted. I don't even know how to describe this condition, so I don't really know how to google it.
If i remember correctly, I made some changes to the printing options. I can't exactly recall what was it, but it was something trivial (like printing all text to black or something)
So i have attached the print of a scanned document. It's just the print quality that's different.

Envy 4500 won't scan text to produce a searchable PDF file

I used to have a Photosmart 4400 C printer that would let me scan to produce searchable PDF files, i.e. I could select letters or words using a text selection tool in my PDF reader. Today I Just purchased a ENVY 4500 e- All-in-One-Series. It will only scan text to give me a graphic PDF file that is not searchable. I updated to the latest driver EN4500_198.exe but that doesn't help. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi, No, the Envy 4500 does not have any OCR software by default, you have to pay for that software and believe this or not, the software is more expensive than the printer itself. Columns are not being recognized when I print a scanned item

I am scanning to an editable document. The document I am scanning has columns but when I print the columns are gone and everything is put in a list. How do I correct this?

Hi pattyc2738. Scanning items to 'editable text' (also called OCR) can be difficult. Depending on what software you are using, most programs to get the image from the scanning glass only recognize the words, and not the formatting. Columns would be a special formatting feature that most entry level OCR software will not work well with.

Why does my printed page contain text that is no in the original

The word document or Power Point may containe "the cow jumped over the moon" but the printed page will contain "the )""jumEp over the moon"
I downloaded the most recent driver but the problem persist....is it a software issue or a printer issue?

CD Insert with mosaic is not printing, just the text prints....never a probem before. Has this been changed?

The CD insert selection of MOSAIC does not print album artwork, only the song title text. What is wrong? This has never been a problem before.

I see you're having print issues. I would like to help!
There can definitely be compatibility issues between a 2.0 USB device and a 3.0 connection port. I'd recommend plugging into a 2.0 port.
I'd recommend starting with a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I'd also suggest downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

In the front panel, right click on the listbox object and select create>attribute node.
In the diagram click on the attribute node and select "Item Names".
Connect the desired array of string to the attribute node.

Print/Save Selected Text to PDF

I want to use Mozilla Firefox very much for a long time. I like it because the UI is very clean, easy to use, the icon vey pretty. When I use in my Android Mobile, it is very easy and intelligent to select content of page site. Very good!
But I had to install Chrome instead so I've always been using "Print a selected content to PDF" but I couldn't find ways to do that with Firefox. Chrome is doing very good.
I searched all add-ons, pdf printer software but they are only saving or printing all the page (website) to PDF.
Please help me the ways to save a selected content to PDF. Thanks very much.

HP Solution Center stopped working and HP Print and Scan Doctor cannot find my OJ4680

HP Solution Center came installed on my HP G60 notebook with Windows 7 premium 64 bit. It suddenly stopped working--it says it cannot run because the device installation is not complete. If I open HP Sup0ort Assistant it says the OJ4680 is ready and it is designated as the default printer in Printers and Devices but when I try to run HP Print and Scan Doctor it cannot find it--it can only find OJ4500 which I use when I'm in my second home. Please help me fix this as at this point I can't print or scan.

I haven't tried your solution yet because before I received your instructions I updated the drivers again and it appears to be working though I've had a message since then that I couldn't scan because my device was offline which was not true as I had just printed a document. I used HP Print and Scan doctor and followed the steps which included turning the device off and unplugging it for 60 seconds. I can now copy, print and scan but I still have the yellow triangles with exclamation points on both my PC and all in one. I'm not sure I want to do more at this point since everything is working well at the moment. BTW my laptop is set for automatic updates by HP and Microsoft, why didn't they keep this problem from occurring?

A "HP Twain Scan" function in the "Print and Scan Doctor" app - Solution?

Frustration!! Why can't I get the scanning portion of subject printer to work on my laptop Windows 7 (64-bit)!?? I've tried the Print and Scan Doctor several times, and the same dysfunction says "HP Twain Scan" whatever that means or is? I've pulled out the cords, all of 'em, and it still not helping. Did I purchase a printer that is not compatible with my laptop? As far as the scanning portion is concerned, or what? I can print OK, both from website/emails and my own documents. Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

An alternate utility you may want to look into is DigiDNA's Disk Aid. You install it on a computer, Mac or PC, connect you phone to it and are able to back up everything on the phone and have access to all the stuff in there. Not free but really worth every penny. Free if you work or study in higher ed.
