SAPscript to PDF in SAP 4.0B - Logo Not appearing correctly

Hi Gurus,
I have an issue where I am converting a Sapscript to a PDF using CONVERT_OTF Function Module. The PDF is being generated correctly but the logos are appearing in other places or not appearing at all. The SAP Version is SAP 4.0B (Really old one) so the function modules available to convert from OTF Data to PDF are very limited.
I searched the web and SDN and found several threads but all of them in version 4.6x on wards.
Any idea why this is going on and how can I solve it?

Hi,
While calling FM CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF, pass import parameter Country Key to SRC_SPOOLID.
i.e. SRC_SPOOLID-RQTELELAN.
I feel this should solve the problem.

    The cloud logo means that you purchased these songs from the iTunes Store but haven't downloaded them to your computer yet. If you want, click the clouds to download the songs and the cloud logo's will disappear for those songs too.

    Could you please let me know what Acrobat and OS version are you using.
    Does this happen in case of any particular PDF or all PDF files?
    Try repairing Acrobat and then again check.

  • Problem while sending mail -Logo not appearing.

    The requirement  is to  send  a  message as a text  and not as a PDF attachment to a recepient.
    ( I am converting the smartform code  into HTML format  - I referred to url
    /people/pavan.bayyapu/blog/2005/08/30/sending-html-email-from-sap-crmerp which contains the rough code )  and am sending the mail to the
    recepient.
    The mail is getting generated, the text of the message is getting properly formatted as desired.
    But the company logo is not appearing .
    I am able to see the logo when I send the mail to my employer's mail  server outlook, but am unable to see
    the logo when I send the mail to the customer's mail server in  outlook.
    Can anybody suggest what could be going wrong?

    Thank you for your reply.
    I tried 2 methods :
    1. I attached the logo to the smartform and sent the mail to my employer's mail id and
    my customer's mail id.
    I am able to get the logo and text in my employer's mail server but in my customer's mail server,
    the text and logo are getting split into 2 attachments in the body of the mail
    instead I require the text and logo in the body of the mail.
    2. I  removed the logo in the smartform and tried typing the url in the smartform window text as suggested in
        URL http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/2273. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
       The logo does not appear iin my employer's mail server but in my customer's mail server,
       all I get is a text of the URL.
    Can you please suggest the possible reason for this problem
    The  url of the IMG tag is accessible externall.
    What is meant by  drop/reference MIME data in a location that is external to corporate firewall.
    Please elaborate.

  • HP Logo Not appearing issue

    Hello,
    I have HP 15-f018ca Energy Star.
    It came with Windows 8.1 but i did not liked it so i clean installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit.
    After installing this i'm having this issue.
    HP Logo at the start up it is not appearing. Is there anyway i can fix this?
    Tried Loading default BIOS but then i can not load into windows-7.

    Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, both from other users, HP experts and other support personnel.
    I understand that you downgraded your system to Windows 7 from the factory installed Windows 8.1, and now the notebook is not starting properly. 
    After some quick checking, I found that the only supported operating system for this notebook model is Windows 8.1, which means that there are not any drivers specifically customized for this system for running under Windows 7.
    Did you make a set of recovery disks, prior to doing your downgrade?
    Also, are the original recovery partitions still intact? If so, you can always do a System Recovery back to the factory installation.

  • PDF's in Mail and Preview not displaying correctly

    Ever since upgrading to Yosemite PDF's are not displaying correctly. Every time i generate a PDF of a sales quote it seems to lose a lot of information.
    But the strange thing is.....
    Preview and Mail both show PDF with missing text.
    When I open using "Quick Look Attachment" within Mail or Adobe Acrobat it looks perfect.
    When emailed, recipients (mostly Windows users) seem to have no problem opening it and seeing all text.
    So far seen that issue is only in Preview and Mail
    Only has happened since upgrading to Yosemite
    PDF is created using web based ZOHO CRM to build quotes.
    See image below to see the difference in what Mail and Preview sees compared with how other apps open the same PDF.
    NOTE: sensitive info has been purposely blurred on image.

    Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one. 
    Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
    Isolating an issue by using another user account
    Try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account.  Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear and again when you log in. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don’t do them all at once.

  • SAP Portal custom themes not appearing in 'Personalize' link

    Hi.
    I am trying to make customised themes available to my users through the 'Personalize' link in the masthead. I have successfully customised the Personalize function so it now includes only the ability to choose themes - all other forms of personalisation have been stripped out. I have also successfully created a customised theme.
    My problem is that the custom theme I have created does not appear in the values list within Personalize -> Portal Theme. Only SAP standard themes are appearing in the list. I have managed to assign the theme to users through a display rule, so I know the theme works OK. I have tried exporting and re-importing the theme, this did not help.
    Does anybody know how I can make my custom theme available through the Personalize -> Portal Theme list?

    Hi,
    Only the themes present in the desktop in which the users fall will be available in the personalize link.
    In detail
    System admin->portal display->Desktop and display rule ->open your desktop (in which the user falls)
    Add all your custom theme to the desktop.
    By now the custom theme will be present in personalize->custom theme.

  • Company logo not appearing in PDF (generated from Web Report)

    I have created a Web-Report using WAD and have my company logo followed by the reporting values. When I export this report as a PDF, I get to see all the values etc except the company logo. Could someone help me out with this issue pls.

    Hi Sebastian,
    We've had the same issue and found no solution for this. There just isn't a way to add an image to a by SAP generated PDF file. The only thing that did work was adding the image to a report and adding the report to the web template. In that case the image is printed but on a seperate page.

    I created a smartforms which need to be sent via e-mail. So far, it is possible. But, the only problem is in the smartforms that there is a logo in a graphical format. After the PDF file created the logo is missing. Before that happened, there is an error that says unable to parse the image.
    I don't know what happened. Please help me.

  • Value of new field in SAP internal table does not appear in HTML

    There is already an existing web application. (has both SAP and HTML programs)
    I only need to add one field in the SAP internal table and display the value in HTML.
    I activated and pushed the publish button in SAP.
    Still, it is not read successfully in HTML and therefore not displayed in the GUI.
    What step did I miss?

  • PDF form filled in Preview does not display correctly in Adobe Reader/Acrobat?

    I recently received a PDF form from my bank, and filled in the fields and affixed my signature. Saved the form. The recipeint of the form opened the PDF in Acrobat or Adobe Reader and the fields don't display the filled in form, unless you click in the field. After you click out of the field, the entry disappears. When you print the form from Reader or Acrobat, the fields are blank, but the signature prints.
    Before saving the form from Preview, the fields appear normally in Reader/Acrobat.
    Running Lion 10.7 and Preview 5.5.
    Anyone else have this happen?

    I've since found out that there is somewhat of a "fix" that addresses a way to see the form entries in Acrobat, but doesn't resolve the problem the Preview creates. There is a script available on the Adobe forum that can be installed into Adobe Acrobat: http://blogs.adobe.com/pdfdevjunkie/2009/11/script_to_fix_mac_osx_previewa.html. The link and also explains the problem which should really be addressed by Apple. After installation, it will appear in the Edit menu of Acrobat. Once you open a Preview form, selecting "Fix Field Appearances" will repair the form so that the entries are visible.
    Preview will still create bad forms, but this script will allow them to be visible in Acrobat. Unfortunately if you're sending a form to someone, there's no way to know if the recipient is using Preview or Acrobat and whether they even know about the problem. So you would have to create the form in Preview, open it in Acrobat, fix the field appearances and re-save. So it's not really a fix, just a work-around. Still don't use Preview for this reason.
    I don't know if the script works with Adobe Reader, there's no mention that it does or doesn't in the forum entry.

  • I Paid for PDF Export and the files are not converting correctly

    I purchased PDF Export to take a PDF file and convert it to a text file so I could import it into excel, when doing so I get a bunch of extra symbles plus the numbers that i'm trying to convert are not complete.

    Could you try disabling the 'Recognize text' function and convert the file again?

  • When publishing to PDF, the File Info keywords are not appearing in adobe bridge?

    When I generate a PDF from Framemaker 9, the File Info can be seen when I open the PDF and look in Properties. However, if I look for the keywords using Adobe Bridge, they are not recognized. Is there something I have to do to make them visible in Adobe Bridge?

    I had experienced this type of problem as well, just to share it could be that the Identity of the Portal user misses a role which can be solved by any user assigning the identity in their identity management or it could also be the connection status of the UWL to the backend, there should be at least two connection statuses for workflow items to get into the UWL I could not recall it but I would post it here once I have the access to our system again.
