SAPSYS problem
Hello,
On my production system (PRD) which is an 4.6C release, user SAPSYS lock many processes in SM50.
Solman 7.0 SP15 is used to monitor PRD.
I don't know what is SAPSYS uses for and how to release processes ?
Here is a extract of SM50 view on prd.
No Ty. PID Status Reasn Start Err Sem CPU Time Report Cl. User Action Table

Many thanks,
Hi
SAPSYS is an internal communication user, which access the tables from the dictionary and give access to the users.
Check in SM21 and ST02,
I think it is due to the swap problem check it out.

SAP 4.7 Installation problem on Solaris 10 - Oracle 9.2.0.7
Hi,
I am trying to install SAP 4.7 on Solaris 10 - Oracle 9.2.0.7. I am using standar installation DVD for SAP 4.7 SR1. After installation I want to login SAP system I have an error about database inconsistency. System said that enter SICK transaction. I entered SICK and my error is "OS release SunOS 5.10 Generic_141444-09 sun4u is not support with this kernel". After I received this error I installed new kernel (221) and I upgaded kernel to 221. But after that I could not open SAP system. I checked dev_w1 and it is like below:

Good Bye .....
Could you please help me about this issue?
Best regards -
Hi
I have ECC6 IDES version was working fine last 3 months . i have just added two profiles in RZ10
login/accept_sso2_ticket = 1
login/create_sso2_ticket = 2
it was not reflecting on so i thought i will restart server so i did it. since then my server is always in yellow state. my Abap , J2ee table are blank and i monitored couple of time when i start server first all table start in RUN state then Ended and disappears then dispatcher goes stopped.
Things i did to resolve this but didn't work
1) tryed to revert back old profiles in OS level
2) Increases j2ee time out ( 600 to 6000)
3) started data base at command level using connect/@ PIS as sydba and the mounted database and then started management consol but still same problem continues.
Can some one help me quickly ...

EWA Configuration... DUMPS... user SAPSYS
Hi,
I have setup the EWA report to my sandbox. Report is generating fine. I did all the setup from my own user which has S_RFC, S_RFCACL, & S_TCODE Objects. I have SAP_ALL Authorization. Everything is working fine. sandbox is generating early watch reports fine. But the problem is I am getting DUMPS in my Sandbox everyhour in 33 mins... and its dumping sooo many times. I had 147 dumps yesterday. Here is the Dump Log (ST22)
User "SAPSYS" has no RFC authorization for function group "SCUST_SYS_INFO ".
What happened?
The user "SAPSYS" attempted to execute a function module from
the function group "SCUST_SYS_INFO ", but does not have the appropriate
RFC authorization.
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLSCUST_SYS_INFO" had to be terminated because one
of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
The user "SAPSYS" has no RFC authorization for the function group
"SCUST_SYS_INFO ". Please contact your system administrator to give you
the RFC authorization for the required function groups (e.g. "SCUST_SYS_INFO
The RFC authorization object is S_RFC.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
Now i dont understand that from where this user came up SAPSYS in client 000... and we dont use client 000. strickly not allowed. I didnt use this user when generating RFS's.... Everything I did using my own user.
Please help ASAP. it is very critical...
Thanks,
Points will be posted for sure!!!Hi,
Those are the following RFC's I am using;
In Solman: SM_XXXCLNTXXX_READ- user: Blank
SM_XXXCLNTXXX_TMW - user: Blank
SM_XXXCLNTXXX_TRUSTED - user: RFC-it has all the other rfc permissions as well as the you've provided me.
In CRM: SM_XXXCLNTXXX_BACK - user: SOLMANXXX
SM_XXXCLNTXXX_TRUSTED- user: checked on Current user
Please currect me if I am wrong. I think In solution manager, the user for xxxREAD should be SOLMANSMP001 which is standard under my other system when I go to sm59..
and for XXX_TMW, I should have user: SOLTMWSMP001...
Please correct me If I am wrong.
Thanks, I really appreciate your help -
Problems accessing BW Report from Portal
Hello friends,
I have a problem. I am trying to create a link in portal that should call a BW Report. To do this we should require the query string which I have. The problem is this report in turn is calling a separate transaction code from a different back end system. When the user tries to execute the report he is getting the following error code
ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-I:E-i:wwbsap06_DEV1_22-v:0-s:403-r:Forbidden
Can anyone tell me how this can be achieved?
Points guaranteed.
Thank You
AvikYou can use SAP Web dispatcher for exposing the BW web reports to extranet. The SAP Web dispatcher is located between the Web client (browser) and your SAP system that is running the Web application.

Dear experts:
I was troubled in my transport system. Our ECC6.0 system run on AIX server, the transport system is very simple, there are only two systems in the landscape, filesystem /usr/sap/trans is export from development server and then mount on production server by NFS. However, as the user ID and group ID in DEV and PRD OS are different, so everytime a change request is released in DEV system, when I try to import it into PRD system, there is a popup with error infomation "Transport control program tp ended with error code 0212 Errors: could not access file as supposed (see dev_tp or". And this error is caused by OS authorization according to the log, the two transport file generated in DEV system couldn't be read by prdadm dur to the authorization limited. So how can I solve this problem?
Thanks all very much! Thanks for your reply.
Yes, there are only two systems in transport route, and DEV is the domain controller.
I have checked in SAP system and the result is ok.
To avoid authorization problem, I grant 777 to directory trans and then prdadm is able to cotrol files in this folder, but the problem is even the folder authorization is 777, after I release a new change request, the new files are generated with 664, usr and group is devadm:sapsys in DEV system, however, in PRD side, prdadm doesn't have authrization to control this file, as sapsys group ID isn't same in DEV and PRD system.
So everytime I need to change anthorization for the two files manully before it can be imported. -

RFC_NO_AUTHORITY error for user SAPSYS in client 000
Hi
I have a lot of abap dumps in ST22 RFC_NO_AUTHORITY error for user SAPSYS in client 000 for today which I'm not sure what they mean. I don't have a SAPSYS user in client 000.
The reason that I'm concerend is we had an incident with the SAP server last night where it became unresponsive about 2.30 am and had to be manually rebooted this morning. The R3 jobs all ran OK but the BW loads failed and had to be re-run this morning. There were no unusual jobs or programs running last night and the Server Event Log does not contain any further information as to the probable cause of the problem.
I'm not sure if this error is related to the BW jobs running and was wondering did anyone come accross it and what it means.
Thanks

SAPSYS user session in CLNT 000 not killed
Hi all!
I have question.
When i check in SM04 i have like 50+ user sessions where the user is SAPSYS in clnt 000 the session type is Plugin HTTP. As terminal info there's a IP-number.
I don't no if its relevant but I'm running an internal ITS. I also run a locally installed IPC (on my laptop since it is a test system).
My question is why are the sessions not closed down when i log out.
I understand that the system is creating the sessions.
Hope you can help me understand!
//RolandHi Disha!
We have had memory bottleneck problems and we have applied note 742048 (extending em/global_memory_mb), still this didn't solve the problems with the internal sessions not closing.

sapparam: SAPSYSTEMNAME neither in profile nor in commandline
Real group id set to 502.
sapparam: sapargv(argc, argv) has not been called.

I exported SAPSYSTEMNAME=IDS in root (installation account) and SAPSYSTEMNAME is present in both profiles (default, Instance) but still it is not processing and hangs at the same point.
Any help would be appreciated.

SAP implementation problem on linux
Hi
I have a unique problem.
I recently joined a team where a PRD system has been installed and it has the following problem:
While transporting from QAS to PRD sometimes the transported request does not get activated.
We found out a possible cause. The PRD system user 'sapsys' has a different Group ID than QAS and hence it sometimes does not activate the required transport. For activating the request we have to manually change the GID of the required request and then re transport it. Then it works.
Although nothing has gone live. So i wanted a way to rectify this problem. Do i need to write a shell script so that it would be triggered when ever the count of the directory is changed. but this might have impact on the oracle database somehow.
Is there any other way to solve the problem.
I hope i have provided some idea what the problem is all about.
Cheers,
VisheshHi Michael
Found out one more thing....
The person who had set this up in the first place said that it may be due to the old version of tp and R3trans
also he suggested the kernel upgrade...
What do u think.. will this solve the problem.
the tp and R3trans version is 100 and update is 0
i want to make sure that nothing else is the problem before proceeding with the above mentioned solution.
Cheers !!

actually the exe directory is not linked to the kernel. This looks unusual. As exe here should be linked to the /sapmnt/SID/exe

Global privilege lock possible?
The little lock icon that appears when I, for example, set certain system preferences, is a good thing. I would like the comfort of knowing that I've got all of these locks locked.... I've already noticed some that I've inadvertently left open....My
