Satelite L750-0LM02V reinstallation problem

Hi guys,
I reinstalled the Win7 system with another language edition. Not the one provided, I used my own disc and erased all the info on the harddrive. So the recovery option is not a choice. After I reinstalled the system, my laptop became really slow... slow as!!!!
the light indicating that it's try to read the hard drive all the time.
Has anyone have the idea how to solve this problem? Thanks.

You have installed Win7 with another language. OK that means you have installed own OS version. We dont know what have you dont with drivers, tools and utilities. So there is no point to start serious discussion. What have you done exactly?
Have you installed all necessary drivers, tools, utilities?
Have you installed some additional software?
Are all hardware components installed properly?
Mostly after fresh OS installation option for Windows update installation is set to automatic and when you go online Windows starts to install all available updates. It can be hundreds MB on data and notebook download and install it in the background so what you can notice is permanent HDD activity and slow notebook reaction if you want to do anything.
My advice is to change Windows update settings. Disable automatic and use Check for updates but let me choose... With other words: updates will not be installed automatically and you can choose the time for updates installation. Do it during some working pause and leave notebook install all important stuff. Do not install optional updates, especially not some drivers listed there. Use Toshiba drivers only.

  • Satelite L750 is slow, takes a long time to open programs

I've had my laptop (Satelite L750) for just over 6 months now, and it has a few problems.
    1. It's very slow for a new computer. Often I type something and it doesn't register for a couple of seconds, I open a program and it takes about 20 secs before it actually starts loading, sometimes I click on a program and it doesn't even open. Is this because I have too much stuff on my computer? Or is there a fault, and I should go and see the computer guys?
    2. It won't let me change the background or the screen saver pictures. I changed them once when I first got the computer, and now it doesn't save any new ones.
    BACKGROUND INFO:
    I have installed Norton 360.
I have AutoCAD on the computer.
    I have Windows7.
    I have Microsoft 2007 Professional.
    COMPUTER:
    Has intelCORE i7
    8G ram
    64-bit operating system
I'd be grateful to anyone who could help. :)

    > Is this because I have too much stuff on my computer?
Its not because youve got too much stuff but possibly it loads slowly because many background processes running at the same time.
Start MSCONFIG and check the Startup tab.
Here you will see all processes which will be started while booting the notebooks system.
Check the single processes and disable some which are not really needed.
Furthermore I see you are using Norton
This Antivirus software needs a lot resources and slowdowns the system extremely I have uninstalled this software and switched to Avira Antivirus and Avast!
Since that my system runs much faster

    > Changed the OS and nothing same problem with win 7x 60 and now with win 8 x64
I guess its hardware related issue since you have already installed the Win 7 and Win 8 OS and the issue appear using both Windows systems.
According to the fact that headphones are OK, I think its hardware related issue maybe speaker problems
From my point of view you should ask service guys for an hardware check.

  • LIGHTROOM 3.3 REINSTALLATION PROBLEM

Hi, LIGHTROOM 3.3 REINSTALLATION PROBLEM. I had an operating system problem with my pc. A friend took an image of my disc. I have the computer running again now but I dont have any of my Loghtroom edits. I was advised to get a .lrc (or something) file but that only had a copy of the very first backup that I did. I didn't backup using the Lightroom backup that pops up when closing te program. How can I retrieve all my edits, it amounts to many, many hundreds of hours work? I'd be very greatful of some help.

Thanks guys. I cant even find the disc image file so I am going to have to wait till me mate gets back from overseas to do any more.
I still have my image files but I am really worried about the edits. That is a heap of work. and I have sold heaps of images, I'm screwed if I get asked for a second copy, or anything for that matter.
My email address is [email protected] do you mind if I contact you directly? John is not due bak in OZ for a few weeks yet, then he's going to Japan for a couple of months.

  • Satelite L750 (PSK2YA-04K010) constant long beeps when it gets to the loading Windows screen.

    Hey all,
I have a customers laptop here, a Satelite L750 (PSK2YA-04K010). It's running Windows 7 Home Premium and when it gets to the Windows loading screen it beeps long constant beeps and the HDD led flashes in time with those beeps and doesn't actually load Windows.
Next time you reboot the computer it will often not beep and then boot fine.
Anyone know what this error beep relates to? I can't see anything in the manual or online that explains the error beeps.
    Thanks.

That doesn't appear to be a US model, and this is the forums for Toshiba USA. You may want to contact Toshiba in your region.

  • Satellite L750 - drivers installation problem

Hello good people of the internet,
I have a problem with drivers' updates/installation on my Satellite L750-1E3, Windows 7-64 bit.
When I launch the installer, it decompresses, telling me it will launch afterwards, but then the window closes and nothing further happens.
I've read about the same problem one person here had with the L855-10P series but, maybe because I'm a girl or maybe because I'm not a native English speaker, I didn't uderstand what to do...
I actually have problem with more things.
My webcam stopped working, when I try to launch it I get the error message that tells me "the initialization went wrong, restart your webcam or computer".
So I tried to reinstall the driver but the problem I described above appeared.
The same driver installation problem appeared when Tempro told me to update my blu-ray driver (I download all the drivers from eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com).
And the last one, for about a month there are problems with the sound on my notebook.
First cracking of sound and then it stops working completely and I have to restart the computer.
Again, I tried to reinstall the sound drivers.
There are two drivers on the Toshiba site, one of them reinstalled just fine but the other one (nvidia, I think) had the same problem as the other drivers.
Someone please tell me what to do, because I am becaoming really desperate and I seriously considered throwing my notebook out of the window.
    Thank you

Usually the HDD recovery is the easiest to get the notebooks factory settings and to get it running again.
    >My webcam stopped working, when I try to launch it I get the error message that tells me "the initialization went wrong, restart your webcam or computer". So I tried to reinstall the driver but the problem I described above appeared..
Its interesting to know if the webcam or an unknown imagine device (probably webcam) appear in device manager. Please check this.
If the webcam isnt listed there, you should check if the webcam is enabled in BIOS.
To access the BIOS press F2. Then go to Advanced tab -> System configuration -> webcam
If the webcam is enabled in BIOS but still not recognized and not listed in device manager, then you should recover the notebook to factory setting to check if the webcam module isnt faulty.
    >The same driver installation problem appeared when Tempro told me to update my blu-ray driver (I download all the drivers from eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com).
The Blu-ray player update works only for notebook equipped with blu-ray drive. If your notebook does not support blu-ray drive

  • ITunes/Quicktime removal/ reInstallation problem

iTunes suddently stopped launching day before yesterday and I get a message which explains that "windows data protection"  stopped this program from executing. Immaculate detail, thanks david.
Taken as a whole, your symptoms suggest that some application (other than QuickTime itself) has stashed old QuickTime componentry in unorthodox locations in your system files. (It can also cause "Fatal error" uninstall trouble for QuickTime.)
So we'll go looking for the older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view options on the PC.
    1. Open My Computer from the desktop or Start menu.
    2. In the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
    3. Click the View tab.
    4. In the "Advanced settings" pane under "Hidden files and folders" make sure that the "Show hidden files and folders" option is selected, and the "Hide extensions for known file types" option is unchecked.
    5. Click OK.
Now in My Computer, open your C drive.
    Open the "Windows" folder.
    Open the "system32" folder.
What files and/or folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the file/folder name? (In a standard installation of QuickTime, you should see precisely two files ... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.)

  • Labview 2010 reinstallation problem

Hi, all. I am new at here.
I hope you all can help me regard to some problem of installing labview. I attached some screen shot during the error occurred. The main issue is I using the same labview installer to install the labview to my personal laptop and it's work but when I install to my company CPU, it did give me much error. Besides,  I had turn off all the window fire wall, but it's still cant work.
    More on my situation:
I doing this reinstallation to my company CPU is because the previous labview program installed had corrupted. Therefore,  I already fully uninstalled all the labview program and reinstall it currently. However, I am facing the errors shown in the pictures. If I am not mistaken, the previous labview version that installed  is same as the version that I install to the CPU now.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

You don't necessarily need to reformat your hard drive, but you can if you wanted to reinstall Windows fresh. Otherwise, if you have Windows backups, you can restore back to a known good version. You can check how many version of LabVIEW are installed on your PC by going into the Programs -> National Instruments folder and view the different LabVIEW versions installed. I don't like to go back in versions of LabVIEW as I always had problems with drivers and hardware compatibility. If you ever want to revert to an old version, I would recommend to install on a fresh Windows.

  • Reinstallation Problem (Apple software updater)

So I've had itunes for a while and it worked fine. But recently updated to 8.1 and for some reason my sound card driver died. I didn't know this at the time and searched the error they gave me on itunes and they said uninstall and reinstall quicktime. So i uninstalled quicktime and after that i realized it wasn't quicktime and it was the sound card. So i fixed that and when i opened itunes i got an error again saying i needed quicktime. So i tried installing that but there was another error that said just uninstall everything (itunes+quicktime) and reinstall the whole package. So i did that. HERES THE PROBLEM: On the reinstallation, it couldn't remove "apple software updater" and wouldn't install because of that. So i tried from control panel to uninstall it, wouldn't work. So i then searched for the actual files and deleted those. In the end it still didn't work and the "add and remove programs" still registers it as being there.
Sorry for the trouble (and the name)

You need to clean up the ASu installer files.
Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instructions on the page as well as the download. Note that what you download is the installer not the program – you have to run it to install the program. The installer doesn't give any message to confirm the installation.
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/
(To run the program – All Programs>>Windows Install)
Run the cleanup utility and remove any references to Apple Software Update.
Restart your PC and try installing again.
If you have had trouble with installing itunes, it might be a good idea to install Quicktime first. Download the version of Quicktime that does not include iTunes and install that.
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html
    Then install iTunes.

  • Reinstallation Problem PCI-1200

In troubleshooting a DAQ problem, I tried to reinstall the drivers for my PCI-1200 running on a Power Macintosh G3 running MAC OS. I followed the directions stated here and deleted all of the mentioned files. When I reinstalled the drivers, my card wasn't autodetected. When running the NI-DAQ Configuration utility, my card is no longer detected. What do I do? I noticed that the .llb files were not reinstalled again (#'s 5-8). Other than that I am stuck.
    Your help is appreciated.
    James Hoggard
    NI's website directions for uninstalling Ni-Daq 6.1.0:
    * Delete the following:
    1. NI DAQ Folder (ie the folder where you installed NI DAQ)
    2. ystem Folder:Extensions:NI-DAQ
    3. ystem Folder:Extensions:NI-DAQ Hardware Database
    4. ystem FolderreferencesAQ Channel Wizard Preferences
    5. :LabVIEW Folder:vi.libAQ:_daq301.llb
    6. :LabVIEW Folder:vi.libAQ:dqchnutl.llb
    7. :LabVIEW Folder:vi.libAQ:misc.llb
    8. :LabVIEW Folder:vi.libAQ:zadvd.llb
    * Note: If you remove the DAQ .llb files the NI DAQ installer will not install them again. They must
be present for NI DAQ to update them.
Uninstallation for NI DAQ 4.9.1 and earlier:
    * Delete the following:
    1. NI DAQ Folder(ie the folder where you installed NI DAQ)
    2. ystem Folder:Control Panels:NI-DAQ
    3. ystem Folder:Extensions:NI-DMA/DSP
    4. ystem Folder:Extensions:NI-DAQ for LabVIEW (only for PowerPC)
    5. :LabVIEW Folder:vi.libAQ:_daq301.llb
    6. :LabVIEW Folder:vi.libAQ:dqchnutl.llb
    7. :LabVIEW Folder:vi.libAQ:misc.llb
    8. :LabVIEW Folder:vi.libAQ:zadvd.llb
    * Note: If you remove the DAQ .llb files the NI DAQ installer will not install them again. They must
be present for NI DAQ to update them.

You will have to reinstall LabVIEW and its DAQ support to reinstall the DAQ LLBs. You may then have to rerun the DAQ installer to update these LLBs, depending on which version of LabVIEW you installed. The details are in the NI-DAQ for Mac OS Read Me. Regardless, not having these LLBs installed should not prevent the NI-DAQ Configuration Utility from recognizing your device.
What version of Mac OS are you running?
What version of NI-DAQ for Mac OS are you installing? The latest version is NI-DAQ 6.6.1 for Mac OS.
Please ensure that the following files are installed:
    System Folder : Extensions : NI-DAQ
System Folder : Extensions : NI-DAQ Hardware Database
    System Folder : Extensions : NI-PAL
Try deleting the System Folder : Preferences : National Instruments folder and relaunching the NI-DAQ Configuration Utility.
What was the original problem that you were troubleshooting?
    Thanks!

  • Acrobat Pro reinstallation problem

Variations on this problem have already been asked and responded to, and I have read them, but I'm afraid they don't help me!
I have Acrobat Pro Extended v9.5.2 installed on my old desktop (XP Home). I bought it as a single-user-licence download, I think between 2 and 3 years ago, but I can't remember from whom and have no emails or documentation relating to my purchase.
I am in the process of moving over to a new laptop (Windows 7, 64 bit) and wish to run Acrobat on it. I accept that this presumably means I will have to uninstall it from the desktop. I have copied over the files (to the x86 directory) and tried to run the installer.
I have retrieved the serial number from the desktop's registry, but when I use it in the installer on the laptop I get the 'Invalid serial number' error that so many other people have reported. I have tried with hyphens, with spaces, and with neither - same result.
Some (not all) postings to some threads on this topic suggest that all valid serial numbers must start with 1118. Mine doesn't - it starts with 9282. Is it possible that the number in the registry is encrypted though it looks straightforward?
If I knew for certain that the sole reason for the 'invalid' message is that the product is already installed with that serial number on my desktop, I would be happy to uninstall it from there first. However, other people's postings suggest that it is not that simple. I can't risk uninstalling from the desktop, trying and failing to install on the laptop, then trying and failing to reinstall on the desktop because the serial number is still 'invalid' - leaving me unable to use my software on either machine.
Any suggestions/ideas gratefully received, thank you!

Thank you for replying. I have come to the conclusion that the serial number contained in the registry must be encrypted. (I am assuming that what you call the key is what I and the installation process call the serial number, ie the 24-digit number contained in both HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Adobe/Repair/Adobe Acrobat/9.0/IOD/SERIAL and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Adobe/Adobe Acrobat/9.0/Registration/SERIAL)
From its format and location in the registry I cannot think that this number is anything other than the serial number, therefore it must be encrypted.
I don’t understand what you mean by “I would have thought that you would have a file that provides the key”. Do you mean that there is a file somewhere among the application files that holds this information?
